"This was my first trip to Harbin, and I booked a riverside hotel near the Songhua River on Ctrip. My stay at the Harbin Habsburg River View Hotel (St. Sophia Church branch) was overwhelmingly positive, especially regarding the service and breakfast. From the greeters and front desk staff to the restaurant team, everyone was consistently described as 'warm, attentive, and caring,' making it feel just like home. They even offered complimentary access to the executive lounge, which truly showed how thoughtful and considerate the hotel is. The breakfast was incredibly rich and featured local specialties. What really stood out was the long serving time, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, allowing us to sleep in and enjoy it as a brunch – a luxury usually only found in international resort hotels. The variety was impressive, including Northeastern dishes like 'kill-pig' stew, chicken stew with mushrooms, 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork), iron pot stew, frozen pears, and Kvas, along with Lanzhou beef noodles, wontons, tofu pudding, and big bone stews. The hotel's location is also excellent. It's about a 10-minute walk (500 meters) to Central Street, the Flood Control Monument, and the Chinese Eastern Railway Bridge. St. Sophia Church and Daoli Market are within a 2-kilometer walk. Directly across from the hotel is the entrance to the Songhua River Cableway. We stayed on the 11th floor in a high-level river view room, offering distant views of the river and Swan Castle. The night view was truly beautiful. The room was well-equipped with a humidifier (essential in dry Northeast China), heated eye masks, sleep earplugs, a foot bath, bath salts, and charging cables. They also provided a complimentary fruit platter and snacks daily, and the bottled water was from Quanyangquan. This hotel is a 'service-driven' choice offering excellent value for money. With its thoughtful service, abundant breakfast, and convenient location, the Habsburg is definitely worth choosing. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Harbin and would even recommend it to friends."

"Hello everyone. My husband and I visit China very often, but I've never encountered such polite staff, not in Beijing, nor in Shanghai. I booked a room without breakfast, and bought breakfast at the hotel for next to nothing. On top of the main buffet, they brought us a separate solyanka (Russian sour soup) or noodle soup, plus a second dish, always decorated with fresh flowers))) It was amazing!!! It was simply impossible to eat everything!! We had a 45 sq.m. room with one large bed. It literally had everything: tea, water, coffee capsules for a small coffee machine, reversible bathrobes (terry cloth on one side, silk on the other), basically like everywhere else, plus disposable razors with shaving cream. Everything was very clean and quiet. Oh, and a very friendly doorman greets you at the entrance, carries your luggage in and out, and hails taxis. The location is excellent: just 100 meters down an alley from Arbat Street, which is incredibly noisy, a real beehive!!! If we're ever in Harbin again, I definitely won't change hotels 💯👍👍👍♥️♥️♥ Oh, and upon checkout, they even gave us this cute little gift with sweets 😊😍🤗🤗"

"Visiting Harbin, I decisively chose this Qiuguo Hotel on Central Street, and the overall stay was incredibly surprising! The facilities, especially, were thoughtful and complete, totally exceeding my expectations. The room was spacious and bright with a sensible, uncrowded layout, and the hardware felt premium. The bedding was clearly chosen with care; the high-quality mattress was just right in terms of firmness, and combined with soft, skin-friendly pillows, my fatigue vanished as soon as I lay down, ensuring a stable and comfortable night's sleep. The room featured a full smart control system, allowing intelligent adjustment of lights, air conditioning, and curtains. It was easy to operate and felt very high-tech, significantly upgrading the guest experience. The bathroom area had excellent wet/dry separation, was clean, and odorless. It was equipped with high-end brand fixtures and a constant-temperature hot water system, providing stable and comfortable water flow for an excellent washing experience. Thoughtful details included a hairdryer, custom toiletries, a nail file, and body lotion. Considering the dry northern climate, the room even had a humidifier to keep the indoor air moist, making the stay very comfortable. Furthermore, the room had a high-definition large-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and a complimentary minibar – all complete and practical. The hotel's public facilities were also comprehensive: a 24-hour self-service laundry room with detergent and laundry bags, meeting daily needs for active travelers. There was also a smart food delivery robot, free luggage storage, and a dedicated parking area, making the supporting services very thorough. Throughout the hotel, the facilities were new, well-maintained, and quality was evident in every detail. The excellent facilities, coupled with a superb location (Central Street and attractions are within walking distance), offer incredible value for money. This is definitely my top recommendation for anyone visiting Harbin!"

"Great hotel with a fantastic location. The elevator goes directly down to the Xicheng Hongchang shopping mall, and Wanda Plaza is right across the street, making shopping super convenient. They also have underground parking. The staff were really helpful and patient when we asked about parking, and they even gave us some complimentary parking time. We only stayed one night due to our travel plans, but we'd definitely stay here again if we have the chance."

"I was surprised to find a new Novotel in Harbin, so I booked a few nights to check it out. To my delight, it was fantastic! First off, the hotel's location is super convenient, directly overlooking St. Sophia Cathedral, and within walking distance of Central Street. You get an unobstructed view of the cathedral. Secondly, the hotel is very new, and the decor and color scheme are quite similar to Novotels abroad, but the room sizes here are significantly more spacious. The breakfast caters to various needs, and they even had Guobaorou (fried sweet and sour pork)! Even though it's a new hotel and likely still in its adjustment phase, the front desk staff provided excellent service. The only minor drawback is that there are only two elevators, which I imagine could lead to longer waiting times during peak season when occupancy is high. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Harbin."

"This hotel is my top choice for a layover at Harbin Airport! The service was excellent, they even put a protective cover on my ID card. The front desk staff were really enthusiastic and the stay was very comfortable. It's only a five to six-minute drive from the airport, so the shuttle service is convenient. They also have a laundry room with a dryer, which was super handy for washing clothes quickly. All in all, a pretty good stay."

"I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton, the most luxurious hotel in Northeast China, from May 21st to 23rd, and honestly, I didn't want to leave! The exceptional service, top-notch facilities, and gourmet cuisine were truly unparalleled. David Hong Yu-zhe at the front desk was not only handsome and sharp but also incredibly knowledgeable and efficient. He arranged a breathtaking river view room for me on the 47th floor, offering a stunning 270-degree panoramic view of the Songhua River! In the evening, we dined at the hotel's Chinese restaurant. While waiting for the Northeastern specialty, Stewed Chicken with Mushrooms (which takes a while to prepare), our wonderful server, Irene Dong Yu-tong, enthusiastically told us that the restaurant's ceiling lights were crafted using the famous local snuff bottle technique. The hotel's buffet breakfast was exquisite and lavish, featuring everything from Eggs Benedict to salmon. The attentive and meticulous server, Linda Zhao Yu-nuo, even went out of her way to make me a latte in a to-go cup for my sightseeing trip. The outstanding service truly enhanced our entire visit! I left with a fantastic impression of Harbin. It's the small details that make all the difference, and having stayed at many Ritz-Carltons in China and Singapore, I can confidently say that Harbin's is the absolute best! 👍👍👍!"

After taking 5 hours Journey on a 40 seater public bus that cost me 100 yuan i arrived at a beautiful homestay run by family, the homestay is the 1st at the entrance of the village. Room is comfortable with huge bed and heated bed and floor, eventhou the bed is just a thin mattress (its call a Kang Bed) but i still can sleep soundly every night. Only things need to change is the toilet because our toilet bowl is right at the center so i cant shower or use the basin (no space to stand)😀 They provide toothbrush and disposable face towel only so you have to bring your own towel and toiletries. Restaurant, reception counter and living room are together, this is a place for the owner and all guests to have meal and gathering. You will see them all day at the living room. We also have some activities such as making tanghulu (fruits coated with syrup), making dumpling and just chit chat eating popcorn and frozen persimmon and pear. Food is so yummy, no need to eat outside because you can order from this homestay. Breakfast is free. Its a simple and healthy- plain porridge, bun and pickles. The northern people are not so much into sugary or fancy drinks, even like tea or coffees. plain hot water is what they had most of the time. Lunch and dinner you can choose from their menu. Few activities you can do in town such as walk around town and enjoy the beautiful scenery like what i did, i also took the sleight horse (200 yuan) to go to the national forest and also stroll along the river for sightseeing. If u want to have ski, snow mobile, tubing there are 2 private own mini park that you can go just by walking distance 5-15 minutes. There is a bigger park Rime Ridge, also known as Wu Song Ling, is a place in Harbin, China where you can see rime and snow scenery, and participate in winter activities this will cost 400 yuan. At night there will be campfire and singing at the village. You can join for free. Go for a walk at night to see lots of villagers selling foods by the road side. I also enjoyed experimenting the ‘boiling water thrown into the sky’ ..beautiful effect from the ice steam. Most important please bring extra cash incase the alipay not working you will still have money. There is no bank or atm machine in the village. Its all solely depending on online payment such as allipay/wechat. I have problem with my alipay payment and I didn’t bring much cash so i cant spend so much at the village. The homestay owner knew about my problem so she worry i dont have enough money to eat so she cook meals for me FREE.. such a nice person. God bless her 🙏🏼 I wish to come again with my family, and i will stay here

What a gem! The hotel is so close to Harbin Airport, which made our trip super convenient. The rooms are modern, very clean, and spacious, with comfortable beds, a nice shower, and a separate toilet area. We really appreciated the free airport shuttle, the courteous driver and staff, and even the elevator to the upper floors. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise—an affordable all-you-can-eat option for just 20 RMB. You can also order dumplings or wontons off the menu. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the countryside air was fresh, and there were restaurants just a short walk away. We liked it so much that we stayed here twice on our trip. Would definitely recommend it!

We chose this hotel because there is a TCM place literally on the opposite side of the block and my sister could get acupuncture there. All the staff were friendly, the hotel was modern and bright, and it was easy to get taxis outside. My sister especially enjoyed the breakfast bigger because there was a lot of dongbei food and the hot dishes changed every day. While we were there (Spring Festival) there were free snacks at reception, like hulutang, frozen pears, egg tarts.

My recent stay at the Yabu Loni Hotel was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. It perfectly combined comfort, convenience, and fantastic service, making for a memorable winter getaway. First and foremost, the hotel itself is lovely. The hotel counter staff are helpful and friendly too. The rooms are nice and cozy, providing the perfect warm and inviting retreat after a long day on the slopes. It felt like a true home away from home. The highlight of our trip was the seamless ski package coordinated with the Sun Mountain Ski Resort, the snowboard equipment is new. The package made everything incredibly easy, and I must give a special commendation to the staff at Sun Mountain Resort. They were exceptionally professional and efficient. Their excellence was truly demonstrated when I unfortunately lost my DJI Pocket 3 on the way to the slope. Once I reported it lost, they managed the situation brilliantly and, to my immense relief, helped me find it! This level of care and responsibility is truly above and beyond. When it came to dining, the hotel’s restaurant, Er Bin Si Fang Cai, was a delight. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet provided by the hotel every morning, which was a great way to start the day. The food and service were so good that I ended up having dinner at the restaurant every night. The service was attentive, and the food was consistently delicious. In summary, I highly recommend Yabu Loni Hotel. The cozy atmosphere, valuable ski package, and outstanding service from both the hotel and Sun Mountain Resort team make it a top choice. I will definitely be returning!
