"This was my first trip to Harbin, and I booked a riverside hotel near the Songhua River on Ctrip. My stay at the Harbin Habsburg River View Hotel (St. Sophia Church branch) was overwhelmingly positive, especially regarding the service and breakfast. From the greeters and front desk staff to the restaurant team, everyone was consistently described as 'warm, attentive, and caring,' making it feel just like home. They even offered complimentary access to the executive lounge, which truly showed how thoughtful and considerate the hotel is. The breakfast was incredibly rich and featured local specialties. What really stood out was the long serving time, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, allowing us to sleep in and enjoy it as a brunch – a luxury usually only found in international resort hotels. The variety was impressive, including Northeastern dishes like 'kill-pig' stew, chicken stew with mushrooms, 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork), iron pot stew, frozen pears, and Kvas, along with Lanzhou beef noodles, wontons, tofu pudding, and big bone stews. The hotel's location is also excellent. It's about a 10-minute walk (500 meters) to Central Street, the Flood Control Monument, and the Chinese Eastern Railway Bridge. St. Sophia Church and Daoli Market are within a 2-kilometer walk. Directly across from the hotel is the entrance to the Songhua River Cableway. We stayed on the 11th floor in a high-level river view room, offering distant views of the river and Swan Castle. The night view was truly beautiful. The room was well-equipped with a humidifier (essential in dry Northeast China), heated eye masks, sleep earplugs, a foot bath, bath salts, and charging cables. They also provided a complimentary fruit platter and snacks daily, and the bottled water was from Quanyangquan. This hotel is a 'service-driven' choice offering excellent value for money. With its thoughtful service, abundant breakfast, and convenient location, the Habsburg is definitely worth choosing. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Harbin and would even recommend it to friends."

"Great stay! The location is excellent, making it super convenient for sightseeing. It's just a few minutes' walk to Saint Sophia Cathedral and Central Street is also easily accessible. The hotel feels safe, and the soundproofing is good. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic. For this location, the price is really good value. The room was clean, and we booked a king-size bed room. The bathroom was also quite spacious."

"This hotel boasts an unbeatable location right on Central Street. Step out the door and you're immediately in the heart of the action, perfect for shopping and trying local snacks. It's also just a short walk to the Flood Control Memorial Tower and Saint Sophia Cathedral, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The entire staff was warm and polite, check-in was quick, and they were always prompt in responding to any requests. Their thoughtful service made me feel completely at home. The hotel's overall decor is opulent and grand, with a magnificent and refined lobby. Every detail exudes quality, making it very photogenic. The buffet breakfast offers a rich variety, including Chinese and Western options, Northeastern specialty pastries, hot dishes, desserts, fruits, and drinks. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, and I started each day feeling fully satisfied. The room itself was spacious and bright, meticulously cleaned, with soft and skin-friendly bedding and a mattress that was just right – neither too soft nor too hard. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a full night's sleep even though we were in a bustling area. The bathroom featured a wet and dry separation, high-quality toiletries, and strong water pressure. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with clean elevators and public areas that were spotless and odor-free. This hotel is perfect for both leisure travel and short getaways, offering incredible value for money. Staying here in Harbin is definitely a sure bet. I'll choose this place again on my next visit and highly recommend it to all travelers!"

"My stay at the Qiuguo Hotel on Central Street during my Harbin trip was exceptional. The meticulous and thoughtful service truly elevated my experience, making it an absolute gem for accommodation in Harbin! The hotel's location is superb, within walking distance of Central Street and St. Sophia Church, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. However, what truly impressed me was the consistently attentive and warm service throughout my stay. Upon check-in, the front desk staff were gentle and enthusiastic. The process was efficient and quick, with no unnecessary delays. Knowing we were out-of-town tourists, the staff patiently and thoroughly explained nearby attractions and must-try dining spots, even hand-drawing a simple travel map – so thoughtful and practical. They also proactively informed us about the hotel's various convenient services, meticulously answering questions about parking, luggage storage, and taxi services. Their patience and thoroughness made us feel incredibly welcome. The detailed service during our stay was even more heartwarming. The housekeeping staff were diligent and meticulous, cleaning even the hidden corners of the room. With imported disinfectant tools, we felt especially safe and comfortable. The staff's service was incredibly attentive, proactively replenishing drinking water and toiletries, and responding to requests promptly and efficiently. "The hotel is a beautiful old Russian-style building with an excellent location. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, just a 3-minute walk to Central Street, yet it's surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The interior is beautifully decorated, clean, and tidy, with new and functional facilities. What truly stands out is the hotel's service, which is incredibly thoughtful and detailed. First, the front desk gave me a complimentary room upgrade. Then, throughout my stay, the room was cleaned impeccably every day, and they offered personalized service based on my habits – for instance, noticing I drink a lot of water, they would leave extra bottles. Even my charging cables left in the room were neatly organized. On one of the days during my stay, it happened to be my birthday. While I was out, I received a call from the hotel, and they offered to order a cake for me! This truly is customer service taken to the extreme! I repeatedly declined, but in the end, the hotel ordered the smallest one as per my request, which was incredibly thoughtful. My entire stay here was wonderful, and I want to thank the hotel and all the staff."

"My first trip to Harbin, and I chose the Mercure hotel. My initial impression was how fantastic its location is! It's so close to Central Street, St. Sophia Cathedral, Daoli Vegetable Market, and the Harbin Museum. Even walking to the riverside isn't too far, which made planning my itinerary a breeze. The room was very clean, and the service was incredibly warm. Breakfast was extensive, and since it was the Dragon Boat Festival, they even had zongzi! The afternoon tea was also abundant. All in all, I genuinely loved this hotel. If I come to Harbin again, it will definitely be my top choice!"

"The location of the Atour Hotel Harbin Central Street is excellent. It's a two-minute walk to Central Street if you turn right downstairs, so it's highly recommended for those who love shopping. However, it can get a bit noisy downstairs in the mornings. Dining is incredibly convenient with Northeastern cuisine, Russian fine dining, and various snacks all readily available. The room itself is spacious, bright, and clean. The shower, toilet, and vanity are all very good. The small sofa is practical, and the electric curtains and voice-activated lights are nice touches. "The hotel was actual quite a walk away from Zhaolin Park metro station. However, the location is very central to many interesting places especially Zhongyang Pedestrian Street. One can also take a walk to the Chinese Baroque street, Central Avenue or the Flood Control Monument while looking at the sunset. Take the metro and you can reach Sun Island easily. Our room on the fourth floor was spacious and clean. Shower pressure was strong and aircond good. Morning breakfast was local fare which comes with the room. Otherwise, one can easily walk out towards Hongzhuan morning market for other choices or the many shops near the hotel. Do use the local buses to take you nearer to popular spots. The Frontline service was good and we appreciated their parting gift on our last day. After many stays with Holiday Inn Express group, we are confident of the quality of stay and services. Looking forward to the next Holiday Inn Express destination."

GGuest UserHighly recommend for anyone planning a trip to Snow Valley! Nan Nan Homestay has an unbeatable location, incredibly close to the ski resort. After a tiring day of skiing, you can just turn around and head back to rest. The owner is a local and an excellent guide, providing professional service. The attraction tickets they helped us book were cheaper than online, and they even arranged free shuttle service within the scenic area, so we didn't have to lug our luggage around. The rooms are well-equipped with private bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. The large kang bed can accommodate 2-4 people, making it perfect for family trips or traveling with friends. The 'tie guo dun' (iron pot stew) and 'guo bao rou' (sweet and sour pork) at the restaurant are super authentic, with fresh and flavorful ingredients – incredible value for money. We loved our stay so much, we didn't want to leave!

HOWEVER, with that said, it doesn’t defeat the purpose of how a hotel should actually operate. This is my honest review: ✈️ LOCATION: (10/10) - It’s literally less than 5 minutes away from “Harbin Taiping International Airport” (HRB). - There is also a street filled with small restaurants and grocery stores, just one minute away from the hotel. We recommend eating at 云姐: 金麦手擀面 (Sister Yun: Golden Wheat Hand-made Noodles) 👍🏼 💁🏻♂️ SERVICE: (10/10) - They are very transparent about the lack of English speakers, and the use of Translation apps. It was quite easy to communicate with the staff despite the language barrier, because they had a real-time convenient translation app. - The staff were very accommodating, and them smiling a lot helped ease any discomfort. There was also a free transportation service to the airport, and the driver was equally as friendly. 🧴 CLEANLINESS AND AMENITIES: (8/10) - Much like with the rest of Harbin, I LOVED their provided cosmetics, as they always have a scent of tea to them, and the feel is good. They even provided small delicious snacks. - However, the reason why I didn’t rate it the highest is because compared to other hotels, it’s not the most clean-looking. Don’t get me wrong, it was clean, but it wasn’t the whole “spotless and sanitized” look. There was also A BIT of an odour once you enter the room. Just a bit tho, not to the point of causing extreme discomfort. Plus, it’s only upon initial entry, it fades right after. 🍲 FOOD: (?/10) - I have no idea, because we didn’t try their food, sorry. We went out to eat 😭 🌸 VIEW: (10/10) - Much like I’ve said earlier as well, the Hotel is beautiful but not as pristine as it looks, because the front is now filled with shafts, etc. - However, I still rated it the highest because the view from outside our window, and to the left of the Hotel itself was beautiful (at least in the winter, during snow season, when we came). It was a vast plane field (corn field, I assume) filled with snow, and you get a clear view of the sunset/sunrise, as well as the Tower of the Harbin Airport. All in all, I’d rate the overall stay a 9/10. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending the Hotel to my friends, and my family and I would love to stay there again if we ever come back to Harbin ! ~

GGuest UserThis hidden gem of a hotel is a must-recommend! It's the best hotel I've stayed at during my trip from Hulunbuir to Harbin. The room's cleanliness was surprisingly excellent, with not even a hint of smoke. Unlike some hotels that claim to be non-smoking, only for a weird, smoky smell to hit you as soon as you open the door! The overall style is light luxury with a great sense of design. The room was spacious enough, the bedding was very comfortable, and it featured smart home tech throughout, making it tidy and convenient. The breakfast was incredibly lavish, on par with a five-star hotel. They also offer afternoon tea. While I didn't get to try the warm night porridge, it really shows how much attention they pay to service details. The location is also fantastic, super close to Central Street and Harbin Museum, and Saint Sophia Cathedral is within walking distance. They even thoughtfully upgraded my room. All in all, the value for money is outstanding, and I'm extremely satisfied! Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThe room is very clean and tidy, the boss is very welcoming, and the room is super warm! I came to Erbin by myself and lived very comfortably. It's very close to Jiangbei University Town subway station, and it's very convenient to get to attractions. There are also many places to eat around!

MMediterraneanSeaFacilities: There's a restaurant on the first floor that offers breakfast. The selection isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The room was spacious and had a large window. There were no strange odors, and the bathroom was a good size with a separate wet and dry area. Ambiance: Clean and tidy, with lively decor. The signature Ibis red makes it feel warm and inviting. Service: The young lady at the front desk had a smile that could melt anyone (and I'm a woman!). She was a major highlight of the hotel – so enthusiastic and empathetic. When she saw my mom and I were sharing a bed, she proactively upgraded us to a twin room, which was also very spacious, and even gave us complimentary egg tarts upon check-in. Her proactive spirit and warm service made our stay truly enjoyable! 😀 Hygiene: The hotel maintained the usual Ibis standard of cleanliness. There was no hair on the room floor, and both the toilet and shower areas were excellent and very spacious.

The shower is a bit small and only offers 2-in-1 body wash and shampoo. Overall, it was a good fit for easy access to the metro, cafes, and train station.
