"This was my first time visiting Harbin, and there were so many hotels to choose from. I ended up picking this one mainly because of its excellent location; it's super close to Stalin Park and Central Street, easily walkable. Plus, the riverside view from the hotel is lovely. The hotel service was prompt and friendly. The staff, especially the 'princess, please get in the car' service (I assume this refers to a special concierge or greeting service), was meticulous and thoughtful, proactively introducing the hotel's facilities and services. Very impressive 👍 Breakfast was bountiful, the environment was good, the facilities were well-maintained and clean, and the food itself was excellent. The service was great too, and the breakfast side dishes were particularly good. 👌 It was a pleasant stay, and I'll definitely book here again on my next visit."

"This time, mini_cloud stayed in a European-style hotel near Central Avenue in Harbin. It was super convenient for shopping and dining. The room had drinks, and they delivered fresh fruit every day. The hotel's breakfast buffet was also amazing; I was surprised to find substantial dishes like roast meat, sausages, and prawns, along with local specialties like Guo Bao Rou (fried pork in sweet and sour sauce) and red sausage. There was also a great selection of fruits and desserts. Every staff member I encountered, whether at the front desk, in the restaurant, or housekeeping, was incredibly warm and polite. They always proactively helped with my luggage when I arrived and departed. When checking out, an uncle even gave me a souvenir — a small orange package with coffee and candies, which perfectly matched the color of my clothes! Mini_cloud had a wonderful vacation in Harbin."

"We were a group of six from Zhejiang on a trip to Harbin and stayed at the Lilac Hotel. The hotel's location is right on Central Street. The lobby is beautifully decorated, and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic, even helping us with our luggage. The rooms are newly renovated with smart curtains. The breakfast was plentiful, and the price was excellent. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel's location is good, but the step at the entrance is too high. You have to carry your own luggage up, and an average woman wouldn't be able to lift it. Also, because of how my trip was booked, the front desk told me I wasn't an IHG member. This is the first time I've been denied recognition despite staying at Holiday Inn so many times, and I didn't even get any fruit!"

"I stayed at the Grand Hyatt for 5 days during my trip to Harbin. Upon arrival, the staff warmly helped us with our luggage and took it to our room. The service throughout our stay was excellent, and our requests were quickly addressed. I initially booked one day less on Ctrip by mistake. When I went to extend my stay yesterday, my original room type wasn't available. The front desk staff kindly showed me two other room types, and I ended up switching to a room with a courtyard, which I'm very happy with! Both room types were very quiet at night!"

"Their service is absolutely top-notch, truly beyond words! I booked the hotel the day before my check-in, and not long after, they called me to ask about my needs. After I added them on WeChat, they even recommended some delicious Harbin food. The hotel's soundproofing is quite good, and the environment is also excellent. After we checked out, we left our luggage at the hotel. We were rushing for our train and didn't have time to message the front desk, but they promptly helped us prepare our luggage, saving me a lot of time. Seriously, their service is unparalleled! The location is also fantastic, right next to the Central Street subway station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Highly, highly recommend!!!!!!"

The bedding was comfortable, the hairdryer worked great, and the rain shower had excellent water pressure, making for a very enjoyable shower experience. Breakfast far exceeded my expectations; both the Chinese and Western options were delicious, clearly showing a dedication to high-quality food. The service was also excellent. It's very close to West Station, and there's a bus stop right downstairs, which is very convenient. Highly recommended!

HOWEVER, with that said, it doesn’t defeat the purpose of how a hotel should actually operate. This is my honest review: ✈️ LOCATION: (10/10) - It’s literally less than 5 minutes away from “Harbin Taiping International Airport” (HRB). - There is also a street filled with small restaurants and grocery stores, just one minute away from the hotel. We recommend eating at 云姐: 金麦手擀面 (Sister Yun: Golden Wheat Hand-made Noodles) 👍🏼 💁🏻♂️ SERVICE: (10/10) - They are very transparent about the lack of English speakers, and the use of Translation apps. It was quite easy to communicate with the staff despite the language barrier, because they had a real-time convenient translation app. - The staff were very accommodating, and them smiling a lot helped ease any discomfort. There was also a free transportation service to the airport, and the driver was equally as friendly. 🧴 CLEANLINESS AND AMENITIES: (8/10) - Much like with the rest of Harbin, I LOVED their provided cosmetics, as they always have a scent of tea to them, and the feel is good. They even provided small delicious snacks. - However, the reason why I didn’t rate it the highest is because compared to other hotels, it’s not the most clean-looking. Don’t get me wrong, it was clean, but it wasn’t the whole “spotless and sanitized” look. There was also A BIT of an odour once you enter the room. Just a bit tho, not to the point of causing extreme discomfort. Plus, it’s only upon initial entry, it fades right after. 🍲 FOOD: (?/10) - I have no idea, because we didn’t try their food, sorry. We went out to eat 😭 🌸 VIEW: (10/10) - Much like I’ve said earlier as well, the Hotel is beautiful but not as pristine as it looks, because the front is now filled with shafts, etc. - However, I still rated it the highest because the view from outside our window, and to the left of the Hotel itself was beautiful (at least in the winter, during snow season, when we came). It was a vast plane field (corn field, I assume) filled with snow, and you get a clear view of the sunset/sunrise, as well as the Tower of the Harbin Airport. All in all, I’d rate the overall stay a 9/10. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending the Hotel to my friends, and my family and I would love to stay there again if we ever come back to Harbin ! ~

It's very close to Central Street, and there's a bus stop right outside, which makes getting around convenient. It's a bit far from the subway station, though.

GGuest UserHarbin Anshu Family Hotel has only 7 rooms and a family who look after the rooms and guests. Their services are just outstanding. I had a serious problem when i arrived as i had not had time in Beijing, where i was in transit from UK to Harbin, to get a phone SIM Card. Anshu Family Hotel took me to the China Mobile shop in Harbin and stayed with me until i got my card. They flatly refused payment for helping me even though it cost them a lot of time so i got them some grapes as a very small gift to say thankyou for helping me so kindly. The process took nearly two hours due to a complication on my UK phone number settings. However the staff at China Mobile were really good, the Anshu Family were just incredibly patient. They simply would not leave until i was fixed up and able to use my phone. I stayed for just under a week to go to see the major attractions in Harbin, a City with a totally unique identity in China due to its Russian and European Architecture. It is one of the most fascinating cities i have ever visited, Harbin Museum being quite astonishing in its variety and quality of Artifacts. It was the 16th Museum or Museum type building i have visited in China and one of the most enjoyable. This year was Harbins 26th Ice Show, with the Winter Games coming up soon. The Anshu Family Hotel is spot on location for both events, just a $3 taxi ride or Metro for just cents. The hotel has lots of shops, supermarkets, several food roads bristling with many many choices of meal. The Anshu Family make a very low charge for their rooms, in my opinion it could be far higher but they stick at their price. I had not asked for breakfast as i go out early to get to see as much as possible during my day sightseeing. The night before i left i asked them if they would get me a taxi for the morning to get my train. I was to get the taxi at 6.45am. At 5.50 a knock on the door and they came to give me three boiled eggs and a meat stew with noodles. Honestly no Hotel has treated me so kindly. I really recommend grabbing a room with Anshu most especially if you are going to the Ice Show or Winter games. It is a budget Hotel, so be aware of that, but I got a spotless sheet, cover duvet and i was as warm as toast room at night. The water shower is piping hot. Opposite the Hotel road is a huge Govt building as a landmark, i never had any problem finding it. There is a Bank of China two hundred metres from Anshu Family Hotel. Anshu, in my opinion must be one of the top deals on offer from Trip.com.

MMediterraneanSeaFacilities: There's a restaurant on the first floor that offers breakfast. The selection isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The room was spacious and had a large window. There were no strange odors, and the bathroom was a good size with a separate wet and dry area. Ambiance: Clean and tidy, with lively decor. The signature Ibis red makes it feel warm and inviting. Service: The young lady at the front desk had a smile that could melt anyone (and I'm a woman!). She was a major highlight of the hotel – so enthusiastic and empathetic. When she saw my mom and I were sharing a bed, she proactively upgraded us to a twin room, which was also very spacious, and even gave us complimentary egg tarts upon check-in. Her proactive spirit and warm service made our stay truly enjoyable! 😀 Hygiene: The hotel maintained the usual Ibis standard of cleanliness. There was no hair on the room floor, and both the toilet and shower areas were excellent and very spacious.

GGuest UserOne of the coziest hotels I’ve ever stayed in! From the first moments inside I was smitten by the fresh aroma in the hotel, which was lingering in the lift and in the rooms. It’s not an unbearable perfume, but a very subtle hint of floral freshness. The hotel is undoubtedly clean and comfortable; everything from the hairdryer and shampoo to the massage bed is wonderful and clearly maintained. They have a cute robot that delivers food straight to your room. The rooms are clean and the smart home function with its automatic curtains is very convenient on those lazy mornings before another eventful day. The breakfast is very cozy and tasty, I especially loved the steamed buns and the coconut coffee. The location is just right, the road allows for a comfortable taxi access, and within a 10-15 walk you can see the beautiful Central Street. And right outside the hotel there are many delicious food options (though, I recommend robot delivery for ultimate cozyness). The staff is polite and helpful, especially the ladies (I once again confirmed ladies are always much more professional and helpful in every nation, the young man at the counter was not helpful at all). All in all, this hotel made my stay very enjoyable. If I’ll have an opportunity to return to Harbin, I would love to choose this hotel again 💖

GGuest UserHad a fantastic stay, the service was excellent, loved it! They even helped us with our luggage. The breakfast was good too, we could use the microwave to heat things up, and it felt very safe. Definitely great value for money.
