LIZZY • Ritz Hotel on Harbin Central Street

The hotel's location is super convenient! Turn right out of the hotel and you're on Central Street. It's a walkable distance to the Flood Control Memorial Tower and Songhua River. Plus, it's right next to Lao Chu Jia, which is always packed with people, and Zhaolin Park is just a left turn away. What I loved most was the strong Russian-style ambiance. The staff were all really enthusiastic and always helped open doors and carry luggage. And the breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious!

Choosing this hotel was definitely the best decision I made for my Harbin trip. It's super convenient for getting around, and every staff member was incredibly warm and attentive. The hotel's exterior design is beautiful, with a strong Russian flair. The room temperature was just right, not too dry at all. Plus, the front desk even upgraded us to a family room, which we absolutely loved!

The hotel lobby is quite grand, and its proximity to Central Street makes it very convenient for getting around. The breakfast spread was generous, featuring dishes like lamb chops and Guobaorou (crispy fried pork), with the Guobaorou being absolutely delicious 😋. The small cakes at afternoon tea were also quite tasty. I checked in past midnight, and after a quick chat, they allowed me a late checkout until 2 PM. To my surprise, they even gave me a small souvenir when I left. The only downside is that the room was a bit small; I almost didn't have space to lay my large suitcase flat to open it.

A perfect stay! I spent two nights from Jan 2nd to 3rd and was thoroughly impressed with Ocean Ritz! The European-style decor is exquisite and grand, boasting both beauty and quality – every photo taken here looks fantastic. The service was truly a highlight; the staff were warm, polite, efficient, and attentive, always going above and beyond to help, showing thoughtfulness in every detail. The room was clean and spacious, with great floor heating that made for a comfortable sleep. The entire experience was smooth with no complaints, and both the service and decor exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Harbin!
