LIZZY • Ritz Hotel on Harbin Central Street

Facilities: Great, opulent and distinctive. Cleanliness: Also quite good. Location: Very close to Saint Sophia Cathedral, about an 8-minute walk. LIZZY Handpicked Souvenirs: Pretty good. Breakfast: Also quite tasty. Afternoon Tea: Definitely has a great ambiance. After checking in, it felt just like a palace, very beautiful, and the facilities inside are also quite good.

The location is super convenient, right next to Central Street. It's within walking distance to St. Sophia Church, Zhaolin Park, Stalin Park, Flood Control Monument, and the Railway Bridge. Getting to Sun Island by subway or cable car is also very easy. The room was clean, and they provided complimentary fruit and cookies. The decor had a distinctive palace style.

This hotel truly lives up to its pictures, boasting a magnificent Russian palace style with rich reds and blues, exquisite arches, ceiling frescoes, and beautiful velvet sofas. The spatial arrangement is fantastic! Another highlight is definitely the breakfast! It's incredibly delicious, abundant, and hearty – quite astonishing to have steak and large sausages so early in the morning! There's also a young man pushing a delicate cart, serving 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork), which adds a charming contrast. By the way, the 'Guo Bao Rou' at this hotel's breakfast is the best I've had in Harbin and perfectly suited my taste! The front desk staff was also very enthusiastic. They quickly helped us with a delivery we needed to send, and seeing our many bags, they proactively helped us take them to our room. Finally, the floral patterns in the bathroom are absolutely beautiful, and the laundry room upstairs makes washing and drying clothes very convenient!

The hotel has great character; as soon as you step into the lobby, an exotic (Russian) ambiance appears before you. The various murals and old artifacts have a wonderful sense of history. The room itself is also very cozy, giving you a real feeling of home, and I slept very soundly and rested well here. It's fantastic! 👍 I'll definitely stay at the Ocean丽兹酒店 again next time I'm in Harbin.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a stone's throw from Central Street and right next to Lao Chujia's flagship restaurant. The room layout was well-designed, the bedding was very comfortable, and the breakfast selection was also quite good. Eating breakfast in the restaurant, surrounded by foreigners, suddenly made me feel like I was traveling abroad, haha, probably because the hotel itself is a renovated old building. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to experience Harbin's exotic charm.

The service was very attentive, and the room facilities were complete and comfortable with good bedding. The hotel has an excellent location, right next to a century-old establishment that's worth checking out. St. Sophia Cathedral and Zhonghua Baroque are both within walking distance or accessible by subway.

Extremely satisfied with my stay! From the entrance to the front desk, and even at breakfast, every staff member provided excellent, warm, and friendly service. There was a great variety of drink options at breakfast too! The room was very new and smart. The service was thoughtful and attentive, and check-in was quick. The room facilities were perfect.

The hotel's location is fantastic, making it convenient to get anywhere. Central Street is just a stone's throw away, and the Flood Control Monument by the Songhua River is only about a 10-minute walk. More importantly, the hotel staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. On our second day, we were planning to visit Sun Island, and not only did a staff member explain the route to us, but one lady, who was just finishing her night shift and heading home, even took us to the nearest subway station before going home herself. We really don't know how to thank her enough. Harbin is truly made more beautiful by its many warm and friendly citizens, and we will definitely be back again.

I chose the Overseas Chinese Town Ritz Hotel this time and was very satisfied. First and foremost, its excellent location right next to Central Street was a huge plus. Secondly, although the hotel isn't large, its design has many highlights, and its exotic style is perfect for photos. Finally, the staff were all very enthusiastic and accommodating, which made for a truly pleasant travel experience overall.
