Highly recommend for anyone planning a trip to Snow Valley! Nan Nan Homestay has an unbeatable location, incredibly close to the ski resort. After a tiring day of skiing, you can just turn around and head back to rest. The owner is a local and an excellent guide, providing professional service. The attraction tickets they helped us book were cheaper than online, and they even arranged free shuttle service within the scenic area, so we didn't have to lug our luggage around. The rooms are well-equipped with private bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. The large kang bed can accommodate 2-4 people, making it perfect for family trips or traveling with friends. The 'tie guo dun' (iron pot stew) and 'guo bao rou' (sweet and sour pork) at the restaurant are super authentic, with fresh and flavorful ingredients – incredible value for money. We loved our stay so much, we didn't want to leave!

Every day since leaving Xinfu, I've been missing the sledding hill behind the lodge (it was free and unlimited!). The owner even helps guests take photoshoots like 'splashing water into ice' (he took three amazing shots for me 😎) and 'glowing with colors.' He's an incredibly skilled photographer, and those pictures instantly elevated my social media game. They also organized a session where we all made candied hawthorns together. As an extrovert, being able to chat with everyone like that was just so enjoyable! The owner also led the trip to Wusong Ridge, keeping us entertained, taking photos, and even teaching us how to ski along the way. As someone from the south, I truly got to experience the thrill of playing wildly in the snow! And of course, the accommodation itself was very unique, with a traditional heated *kang* bed, ensuring a deep sleep until morning. Waking up to hot porridge in the morning was just heavenly!

The Grand Mercure Harbin Sophia Church is well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was fantastic! The hotel's location is super convenient, and the rooms are really comfortable. It's an excellent choice for business travelers and families on vacation. Thumbs up for the great service! I highly recommend staying here!

Honestly, the photo they used seems to be AI-generated or at least edited, so don’t expect it to look THAT good. HOWEVER, with that said, it doesn’t defeat the purpose of how a hotel should actually operate. This is my honest review: ✈️ LOCATION: (10/10) - It’s literally less than 5 minutes away from “Harbin Taiping International Airport” (HRB). - There is also a street filled with small restaurants and grocery stores, just one minute away from the hotel. We recommend eating at 云姐: 金麦手擀面 (Sister Yun: Golden Wheat Hand-made Noodles) 👍🏼 💁🏻♂️ SERVICE: (10/10) - They are very transparent about the lack of English speakers, and the use of Translation apps. It was quite easy to communicate with the staff despite the language barrier, because they had a real-time convenient translation app. - The staff were very accommodating, and them smiling a lot helped ease any discomfort. There was also a free transportation service to the airport, and the driver was equally as friendly. 🧴 CLEANLINESS AND AMENITIES: (8/10) - Much like with the rest of Harbin, I LOVED their provided cosmetics, as they always have a scent of tea to them, and the feel is good. They even provided small delicious snacks. - However, the reason why I didn’t rate it the highest is because compared to other hotels, it’s not the most clean-looking. Don’t get me wrong, it was clean, but it wasn’t the whole “spotless and sanitized” look. There was also A BIT of an odour once you enter the room. Just a bit tho, not to the point of causing extreme discomfort. Plus, it’s only upon initial entry, it fades right after. 🍲 FOOD: (?/10) - I have no idea, because we didn’t try their food, sorry. We went out to eat 😭 🌸 VIEW: (10/10) - Much like I’ve said earlier as well, the Hotel is beautiful but not as pristine as it looks, because the front is now filled with shafts, etc. - However, I still rated it the highest because the view from outside our window, and to the left of the Hotel itself was beautiful (at least in the winter, during snow season, when we came). It was a vast plane field (corn field, I assume) filled with snow, and you get a clear view of the sunset/sunrise, as well as the Tower of the Harbin Airport. All in all, I’d rate the overall stay a 9/10. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending the Hotel to my friends, and my family and I would love to stay there again if we ever come back to Harbin ! ~

Right from the moment we arrived, someone was there to greet us at the hotel entrance, helping with our luggage. They also assisted us with our bags to the elevator after check-in, as there were steps. Similarly, when we left, someone helped us carry our luggage down the steps. The room was spacious, featuring a bathtub, sofa, and a recliner. The bed was comfortable, the shower had excellent water pressure, and even the shampoo was good. The location is great, perfect for a walk around Central Street, Flood Control Memorial Tower, and Saint Sophia Cathedral. There are convenient stores, Russian restaurants, and 'tieguo dun' (iron pot stew) places all within a short walk. The only minor drawback is that the bathroom glass door is a bit transparent. The shower area, in particular, faces directly into the room with little privacy. While this might be convenient for parents keeping an eye on young children during a family trip, it could be a bit awkward for older children, requiring some extra consideration for privacy.

Overall, the hotel left a pleasant impression thanks to its location, beautiful interior, and atmosphere. The location is excellent, near Central Street, for strolling around Harbin, visiting the main attractions, and enjoying the city at night. The hotel design is truly beautiful: the attention to style is palpable, conveying a sense of elegance and the historic character of Harbin. The staff is polite and helpful, and the stay was overall comfortable. I'd especially like to mention the breakfasts. We really love Chinese breakfasts and always choose local cuisine. We rate this hotel's breakfasts a «4 out of 5», the quality is satisfactory, but the selection and variety are rather monotonous. Considering the hotel positions itself as a luxury hotel, we expected more variety. At other Harbin hotels that don't place such an emphasis on luxury, we've experienced much more interesting and extensive breakfasts with a wider selection of Chinese dishes. However, there are some aspects that were somewhat disappointing and don't live up to the standard advertised. Firstly, the hotel description and booking conditions don't fully reflect reality. For example, the description mentions a pool and spa area, but the hotel doesn't actually have one. The Lizzy premium gift was also mentioned when booking, but we didn't receive it. There are also questions about the room's cleaning and finishing details. In the bathroom, the back of the sink (the part that's usually hidden from view) is clearly visible when looking in the mirror. There are visible marks on it, similar to adhesive or sealant residue from installation, which looks sloppy. Therefore, despite the overall impression of a beautiful hotel, the cleaning and finishing can't be described as perfect. There's also a design flaw in the shower: water spills onto the floor near the toilet during use. You have to shower in a certain position to avoid flooding the room. Overall, this is a beautiful boutique hotel with a great location and a pleasant atmosphere, but for the stated standard and price, I would have liked more clarity in the service descriptions, more thorough quality control, and attention to detail. It's these details that separate a simply beautiful hotel from a truly luxurious one.

Facilities: There's a restaurant on the first floor that offers breakfast. The selection isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The room was spacious and had a large window. There were no strange odors, and the bathroom was a good size with a separate wet and dry area. Ambiance: Clean and tidy, with lively decor. The signature Ibis red makes it feel warm and inviting. Service: The young lady at the front desk had a smile that could melt anyone (and I'm a woman!). She was a major highlight of the hotel – so enthusiastic and empathetic. When she saw my mom and I were sharing a bed, she proactively upgraded us to a twin room, which was also very spacious, and even gave us complimentary egg tarts upon check-in. Her proactive spirit and warm service made our stay truly enjoyable! 😀 Hygiene: The hotel maintained the usual Ibis standard of cleanliness. There was no hair on the room floor, and both the toilet and shower areas were excellent and very spacious.

Extremely satisfied with our stay! The location is super convenient, just a short walk to Central Street and Metro Line 3, making it easy to get to the high-speed rail station and other places. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. They also offer afternoon tea, coffee, and lemon water – it was so refreshing to have a drink after coming back to the hotel. They even provide special slippers and toothbrushes for children. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit!

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right by the Songhua River. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful, carrying our luggage to the room. They even upgraded us to a family room, which was much more spacious. We also received a complimentary afternoon tea and were allowed a late check-out. After checking out, we could still relax in the lobby lounge, which was a nice touch. The service here is truly thoughtful and human-centric. Highly recommend this hotel!

The Yabuli Yabuluoni Hotel boasts an excellent location right in the heart of the ski resort, offering incredibly convenient ski-in/ski-out access directly to the slopes and lifts. The rooms are clean, warm, and offer expansive views; you can enjoy the snow scenery right from your window. The facilities are comprehensive, with ski rental and dining all available in one spot. The service is enthusiastic and responsive, and it offers great value for money. It's truly the top choice for a ski holiday; we had a comfortable and worry-free stay. We'll definitely choose this place again next time. Highly recommended!
