Harbin Central Street Habsburg Hotel (Sofia Church)

Highly recommended! I'll definitely choose Habsburg again next time I'm in Harbin! The location is great, within walking distance to Central Street, and right across from the cable car and Songhua River. Subway Line 3 is right outside the hotel, super convenient. I chose the 120° room, which offered a partial view of the Songhua River. The stay was very comfortable, the bathroom was large, and what I loved most was the shower pressure – absolutely fantastic! The service was excellent, especially breakfast! The restaurant is wonderful, with a great ambiance and complete facilities. All the staff in the restaurant were incredibly warm and enthusiastic, a hundred times better than the service I experienced at other places these past few days! During the National Day holiday, they even gifted 3D printed yogurt to my child every day. The breakfast selection was rich and delicious; staying for three days, there was something different every day, which was great. The parking lot is a bit small, but there are security guards who help find spots, which is excellent. Comparing it to other hotels during my trip to Northeast China over the National Day holiday, Habsburg had the best service, especially suitable for family travel. Oh, and there's a gym, a laundry room, a billiards table, and even a play area for kids. They have queen costumes, but I didn't get to try them this time – next time! There's also afternoon tea with some snacks and drinks. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

The restaurant is fantastic, the facilities are great, and the environment is very comfortable. Breakfast is available until noon, the dishes are very unique, the service is thoughtful, and the transportation is convenient. I will definitely stay here again! We booked a river-view room, and the cross-river ropeway is right across. The breakfast continuously offers local specialties like Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork), fried rice cakes, and sweet bean buns. The security staff provided excellent service, helping us carry our luggage all the way to the car. Harbin is a warm city—not only a tourist destination supported by its military-industrial economy, but also home to major enterprises like Harbin Pharmaceutical Group (HPGC). It's a city with a low cost of living and above-average incomes. Everyone is passionate and free from unnecessary inner friction.

The hotel boasts a great location, fantastic restaurant, and warm, attentive service. The breakfast staff are exceptionally thoughtful with a strong sense of service, and the restaurant offers a comfortable environment and well-maintained facilities. It was my first time encountering a breakfast that extends until 12 PM. Not only do they serve standard fare, but they also feature internet-famous deep-fried rice cakes (youzhagao), frozen pears, and Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork), plus a complimentary 3D-printed yogurt from the restaurant. Bringing out-of-town friends here is an absolute face-saver! The restaurant service elevates the entire hotel experience to the next level—it goes beyond industry standards while truly reflecting Harbin's sincerity toward both locals and visitors! The hotel also incorporates thoughtful service into every single detail: from the souvenirs given to children at front desk check-out, to the complete set of bathroom amenities, even including a headband for female guests, a humidifier in the room, and an infant toilet and washbasin in the family room, which moms will absolutely love! All in all, Habsburg is one of the most impressive hotels I've ever stayed at—the kind of place you want to return to as soon as you leave. I believe it has reached international standards and I highly recommend it!

An incredible hotel with so much attention to detail! I booked two different five-star hotels in Harbin, and this one absolutely nailed the service details. The room was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. I was thrilled to see a bottled liquid laundry detergent at the sink (not soap!!) which was super convenient. Since Northeast China can be bone-dry, having two humidifiers in the room deserves another big thumbs-up. The afternoon tea was also unique, and the black tea was delicious. The location is fantastic, making it very easy to walk around and explore. The front desk also provided complimentary cable car discount vouchers. However, unlike other hotels where staff helped with luggage during both check-in and check-out, it would be even better if they could add that touch to make a great stay perfect.

Although the room decor is a bit dated, it was spotless, and the disposable amenities were well-stocked. The bath towels could use an upgrade, though, as they looked somewhat worn. Overall, I was extremely satisfied. The river view offers a great overlook of the Songhua River, and the soundproofing is excellent, making for a very quiet stay. Location-wise, it's right above a subway station and within walking distance of Central Street. There are plenty of dining options downstairs, and it's right next to the Songhua River Riverside Castle, where you can take a cable car across the river, as well as hop on the sightseeing bus right outside. As for the service, all the staff were warm, welcoming, and well-managed. Breakfast the next morning was varied and plentiful; they even made specially patterned yogurt for the kids and packed lots of snacks for them to eat on the road. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Harbin.

The restaurant is great, with a nice ambiance and excellent facilities. Overall, I'm very satisfied, but the heating was too strong for someone from the south. The hotel should consider keeping the central air conditioning on cool mode before turning on the overall heating. Even Hiltons in places further north than Harbin haven't turned on their heating yet.

Choosing the Habsburg Hotel was definitely a wise decision. The hotel's location is superb, right above Subway Line 3. It's about a ten-minute walk to the riverside, Central Street, and Hongzhuan Morning Market. The hotel boasts excellent hygiene, a great environment, and fantastic service. Besides breakfast, they also offer afternoon tea. I highly recommend everyone to stay here. The 'Queen's Suite' was a bit disappointing, as it only offered a few outfits for selection and not a photoshoot, but this didn't really affect my overall stay experience. Everything else was excellent. Special note: This is my genuine feedback after checking out.

This is a hotel located in a scenic area. Upon arrival, the staff at the lobby warmly greeted me, which caught me a bit off guard, making me truly feel the renowned hospitality of Northeasterners. The hotel is right by the Songhua River, and you can even enjoy the river's night view from your room. The subway station is just downstairs, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The restaurant is fantastic, with a great ambiance and excellent facilities. Breakfast is served until 12 PM, and the service is thoughtful and warm. The staff always greets guests with a smile. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again next time I visit Harbin.

The hotel's location is superb—right across from a metro station and just across the street from the riverside and the Songhua River Cableway (Castle). Central Street and the Flood Control Monument are also within easy walking distance, and the street next door is lined with great restaurants! The breakfast was hearty with long serving hours, so no need to worry about sleeping in! The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were very professional. Their fun nicknames were quite amusing! 😂 The front desk staff member nicknamed "Sun Island is Across" was warm and professional. Another staff member, "Princess, Please Get in the Car," kindly escorted us to a nearby restaurant, worried we might get lost—huge kudos to them! 👍🏻 The only slight downside was our room type: the toilet and shower were in the same enclosed space, and the vanity counter was too small to place anything on, which was a bit inconvenient. Everything else was wonderful~
