The hotel is ideally located right on Central Street. Its rich historical charm is a significant selling point. Since my child and I have different routines, I listened to the hotel's introduction twice – once with my husband and once with my child – and the experiences were quite different. The first young lady rattled through the information quickly, almost like reciting from memory. However, the second gentleman was very enthusiastic, telling stories, reminding us to record and take photos, interacting with my child, and even offering to get house-made yogurt for the little one, which was wonderful. The hotel introductions seem to follow a standard template and are a bit too short. Adding more stories would enhance the experience; for example, the introductions at Suzhou Nan Yuan Hotel are particularly engaging. The hotel kettle is truly ancient. The lid pops open while boiling water, and it doesn't automatically switch off when the water boils, leading to it boiling dry. This is genuinely poor and poses a safety hazard. At breakfast, I asked for sesame oil for my child's noodles, and the noodle-making auntie initially said there wasn't any. I then asked if she could get some from the back kitchen, and she did eventually get some for my child. Overall, the stay was decent, but as a five-star hotel, it needs to improve its service, facilities, and staff training.

If you are kooking for homestay in harbin, trust me i think this one you should consider without any hesitation.. 1 - Owner: He is very kind.. you can communicate with him about everything..he can help you..he will assist and guide you.. and always asking how our condition during our stay...we encounter with leaking shower,immediately the owner replaced with a new one within 15 min..and the plus point is,he let us to keep some of our luggage while we leaving to snow valley..other than that,he did ask us where is the giblat direction so that after this he can put marker for other muslim guest next time. 2 - Location: the homestay location just in front of famous hongzhuan morning market.. you can go there every morning because just a fews step from the house..other than that,you can access the zhongyang pedestrian street easily within 5 min walking..and the most important thing for us as a muslim tourist, house is located nearby to 3 halal restaurants,just 5 min walking distance. 3 - Amenities: everything is complete and well prepared, even the house has a washing machine.storage water heater tank. The room is exactly same as the picture posted..

Recommended homestay to stay as it is really close to Yabuli ski resort. It just 15mins to the location. Muslim friendly homestay as it also provide vegetarian food. The host is really accommodating and friendly. in terms of communication with the host, we just use we chat but as a suggestion, host should buy the translation device for seamless ad fast communication. Location: - 15 mins to Yabuli Ski Resort - 10 mins to Restaurants (close to muslim restaurant too) Accommodation: - 10/10 Clean - Interior is really modern and the room is really big - Doubting to stay here? No! Absolutely will come again as the homestay is really beautiful - Washing machine and dryer is provided - You can even have a quick excercise with a good view - In house restaurant where you can just go downstairs and order your food here and they will call you once the food is ready. In terms of price? A bit pricey? - Food? Delicious! Totally chinese cuisine. Host: - Good hospitality - Friendly and helpful - You can just ask the host for any activities that you want to do, he can help you. P/s: For Yabuli Skit Resort, I recommend you to book by yourself because I almost get scam. The ski trainer asked us to pay double for the ski lesson which this trainer is recommended by the homestay staff. - He can help you to arrange for transportation to Snow Town or Snow village. All transportation booking can be arranged by him.

Highly recommend for anyone planning a trip to Snow Valley! Nan Nan Homestay has an unbeatable location, incredibly close to the ski resort. After a tiring day of skiing, you can just turn around and head back to rest. The owner is a local and an excellent guide, providing professional service. The attraction tickets they helped us book were cheaper than online, and they even arranged free shuttle service within the scenic area, so we didn't have to lug our luggage around. The rooms are well-equipped with private bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. The large kang bed can accommodate 2-4 people, making it perfect for family trips or traveling with friends. The 'tie guo dun' (iron pot stew) and 'guo bao rou' (sweet and sour pork) at the restaurant are super authentic, with fresh and flavorful ingredients – incredible value for money. We loved our stay so much, we didn't want to leave!

My overall experience during this stay was quite good. The location was very convenient, making it easy to get around by car or on foot, which saved a lot of time. Check-in at the front desk was smooth, and they proactively recommended several places to eat nearby, saving me the trouble of looking them up myself. The whole check-in process was relatively hassle-free, and any issues I had were quickly addressed by the concierge. Overall, everything was excellent, there's nothing to complain about, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

Harbin Anshu Family Hotel has only 7 rooms and a family who look after the rooms and guests. Their services are just outstanding. I had a serious problem when i arrived as i had not had time in Beijing, where i was in transit from UK to Harbin, to get a phone SIM Card. Anshu Family Hotel took me to the China Mobile shop in Harbin and stayed with me until i got my card. They flatly refused payment for helping me even though it cost them a lot of time so i got them some grapes as a very small gift to say thankyou for helping me so kindly. The process took nearly two hours due to a complication on my UK phone number settings. However the staff at China Mobile were really good, the Anshu Family were just incredibly patient. They simply would not leave until i was fixed up and able to use my phone. I stayed for just under a week to go to see the major attractions in Harbin, a City with a totally unique identity in China due to its Russian and European Architecture. It is one of the most fascinating cities i have ever visited, Harbin Museum being quite astonishing in its variety and quality of Artifacts. It was the 16th Museum or Museum type building i have visited in China and one of the most enjoyable. This year was Harbins 26th Ice Show, with the Winter Games coming up soon. The Anshu Family Hotel is spot on location for both events, just a $3 taxi ride or Metro for just cents. The hotel has lots of shops, supermarkets, several food roads bristling with many many choices of meal. The Anshu Family make a very low charge for their rooms, in my opinion it could be far higher but they stick at their price. I had not asked for breakfast as i go out early to get to see as much as possible during my day sightseeing. The night before i left i asked them if they would get me a taxi for the morning to get my train. I was to get the taxi at 6.45am. At 5.50 a knock on the door and they came to give me three boiled eggs and a meat stew with noodles. Honestly no Hotel has treated me so kindly. I really recommend grabbing a room with Anshu most especially if you are going to the Ice Show or Winter games. It is a budget Hotel, so be aware of that, but I got a spotless sheet, cover duvet and i was as warm as toast room at night. The water shower is piping hot. Opposite the Hotel road is a huge Govt building as a landmark, i never had any problem finding it. There is a Bank of China two hundred metres from Anshu Family Hotel. Anshu, in my opinion must be one of the top deals on offer from Trip.com.

The facilities are maintained like new, immaculately clean and tidy. This isn't just accommodation; it's an experience to be savored, offering incredible value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates quality!

They proactively upgraded our room and even gave us hot spring tickets, which was a nice surprise! The hot springs themselves were really fun, with lots of different pools. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We'll definitely come back if we get the chance.

Great location with a spacious parking lot. The staff were very welcoming and responsive. I accidentally booked the wrong dates, and the hotel staff were incredibly helpful in accommodating the change. The hotel is right next to a ski resort, and they even offered free skiing passes for the whole family, which was a nice bonus!
