"The carpet had hair and food debris. There was also hair on the sofa and in the bathtub. After I reported it to the hotel, they were quite apologetic. Given their willingness to address the issues, I agreed not to penalize their rating, but I do think it's important to document these problems in a review. This serves two purposes: first, to alert other travelers to pay attention to room hygiene, and second, to encourage the hotel to uphold its hygiene service commitments."

"I stayed at the Grand Hyatt for 5 days during my trip to Harbin. Upon arrival, the staff warmly helped us with our luggage and took it to our room. The service throughout our stay was excellent, and our requests were quickly addressed. I initially booked one day less on Ctrip by mistake. When I went to extend my stay yesterday, my original room type wasn't available. The front desk staff kindly showed me two other room types, and I ended up switching to a room with a courtyard, which I'm very happy with! Both room types were very quiet at night!"

NNikitnAs a loyal Ritz-Carlton fan, how could I not stay here when I'm back in my hometown?! Upon check-in, I was upgraded to a river-view room on the 39th floor, offering a distant view of the Songhua River. The weather had warmed up, but surprisingly, I encountered a heavy snowfall. The hotel facilities are relatively new, the room was generally clean, and the details were well-handled. Breakfast was quite extensive, and sitting by the window allowed for a great city view. The staff were also very good and accommodating. The doorman in the lobby on the first floor was very friendly. The bar on the 56th floor is also nice; I sat there every night for a while. There was a guy in a suit and mask who was quite enthusiastic. However, on the last night, a group of people were incredibly loud. There was also a guy from Northeast China, perhaps drunk on fake alcohol, swearing loudly on the phone, which really marred such a nice atmosphere. Overall, the stay was excellent, full marks.

GGuest UserThis was my first stay at Qiu Guo, and I decided to give it a try. I ended up having such a great experience that I extended my stay. Even though it's a self-service laundry room, the staff still helped bring my clothes back to the room or even dried them for me – a big thumbs up! 👍 The facilities in the common area are also excellent, with things like hair ties, nail clippers, hair clips, paper clips, and even a printer. I'll definitely be staying at Qiu Guo again in the future.
The room was very new, and all the amenities worked perfectly. The hairdryer was a Laifen, the same brand I brought with me!

The room was dust-free, and the bedding was pristine, smooth, and soft against the skin, without any stains or odors. The bathroom was cleaned exceptionally thoroughly; the tiles and mirrors gleamed like new, and the toilet and sink were spotless. The wet and dry areas were completely dry with no standing water, and even the floor drains and corners were sparkling. Daily housekeeping was meticulous and prompt with replenishing supplies. The cleaning staff were professional and attentive. As someone very particular about cleanliness, I couldn't find a single flaw throughout my stay. I felt incredibly at ease and comfortable. This is definitely the gold standard for hygiene among five-star hotels in Harbin. The laundry room is also fantastic, with a sofa and TV where you can relax while your clothes are being washed. Highly recommended!

Getting straight to it, from check-in to check-out:
First off, the high-speed elevators are incredibly smooth, which is a huge plus. I timed it, and it took less than a minute to get from the underground parking to the 42nd floor. Since the lobby is on the 42nd floor, and you have to go through it to switch elevators to the guest rooms, having such efficient elevators for frequent use is really important.
Secondly, the Chinese restaurant has a pretty good selection of dishes, and the taste is quite good for a five-star Chinese restaurant. It leans a bit salty, which might be because of the colder northern climate needing stronger flavors. The dim sum, however, was just okay, and I hope they can improve it. The prices are relatively reasonable, and the staff at the Chinese restaurant are very professional and provide excellent service. It would be even better if it were on the 43rd floor instead of the 5th.
Now, about the room: The view from the scenic room is fantastic, the bedding is comfortable, and the wide sofa and double sinks are great for families. I just wish they'd add a spotlight near the entrance as it's a bit dark there.
In the evening, the executive lounge would be a perfect spot to watch the sunset and enjoy a drink. Unfortunately, I was with my kids, so I didn't get the chance, but I'll definitely go next time.
Finally, before checking out, I tried the hotel breakfast. It's quite interesting because it's open until 1 PM, which is incredibly thoughtful! The variety of dishes is also very rich.
Due to my travel plans, I only stayed one night, but if I have more time next time, I'll definitely bring my kids to stay for a few more days.

1. The room was very spacious, luxuriously decorated, and the ambiance was elegant, making for a comfortable stay.
2. The facilities were excellent. The toilet was a smart toilet, and the room had both a humidifier and an air purifier.
3. The service was thoughtful and attentive. The front desk staff handled issues efficiently and promptly, and their attitude was very good.
Cons:
1. The hotel's hot spring is open to the public, and during the Chinese New Year, it was quite crowded. Guests didn't have a dedicated entrance and had to queue at the door to get a wristband before entering, which was inconvenient.
2. There was only one outdoor hot spring pool; all the others were indoors. This wasn't quite what I expected. I wish there were more outdoor pools, especially since the hotel's main selling point is its hot spring.
3. The gym had a limited number of machines, which wasn't quite enough. Also, there was a lack of equipment maintenance; the handles on some machines were too slippery. The gym's access control seemed to have an issue, as sometimes the card swipe wouldn't work.

GGuest UserGood value for money, especially in the winter high season. Good location, 10mins walkable distance to the Chinese Baroque Area and 20mins walkable distance to St. Sophia Church. I think I got the smallest room possible, so try to avoid rooms ending with -01 and -02. Clean room and the bed is very comfortable. Paid a bit more for the buffet breakfast. Nothing special but the fried rice was delicious and I ate a lot to tide through the day.

OOhmaiI arrived late at night and the receptionist very helpful. Even though i cannot speak chinese and receptionist do not speak english, he always ask Siri on his phone to make sure everything go smoothly.
The receptionist even help me buy bread and drinks at the vending machine that requires Chinese phone number.
Room is spacious, clean. All items working well, just lack of internet connection maybe my room located at the end of the alley.
The best part, breakfast included too in the room rate. So you don’t have to go outside find breakfast during this cold weather 😃

BBeihaidao！n nI have to give a huge shout-out to the service at this hot spring hotel! I had a super tight schedule with my return high-speed train, and couldn't find a taxi outside. After talking to the front desk, they immediately arranged a car for me, and I made it to the high-speed train station just in time. The hot spring water quality is great, the rooms are clean, and the service is incredibly thoughtful. That final ride to the station really sealed the deal and made my impression of the hotel sky-high. Highly recommend to anyone who needs it!

The family room had a reasonable layout, suitable for children's activities. The water park had a variety of attractions, which the kids loved. The fruits, drinks, and Häagen-Dazs ice cream in the water park were good, but the food selection was too limited. The hotel is close to shopping areas like Sunac Mall, with convenient amenities and parking, making it suitable for short getaways with children.
(Suggestion: Improve the attitude and service training of the staff.)
