HOLLICK HOTEL

I was torn between Wanda and Huamei for a while, but ultimately chose this place, and I'm so glad I did – it was a great recommendation from Xiaohongshu! The exterior looks like a Swiss chalet. I booked a room with a view and could see the mountains. B1 has a snack street, and it's less than a five-minute walk to the hot spring hotel. In the evening, you can even catch a performance; the iron flower show was absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff's service attitude was excellent, especially Mr. Mark! He not only helped me find an affordable swimwear store but also went above and beyond to assist with any requests I had. Thumbs up! There's a dryer downstairs; just let the front desk know if you need to use it. The room was very spacious. Initially, I was a bit worried when they mentioned hot water was limited to 20 minutes (because it needed to heat up), but it turned out to be absolutely fine, and the water temperature was great. Breakfast at the Magpie Restaurant on B1 offered a good variety of options. After eating, you can use the vouchers the hotel provides to enjoy the activities. Even though the weather wasn't ideal for visiting Tianchi these past two days, I had a very comfortable two-day vacation here!

The hotel is just inside the gate of Changbai Mountain as shown in the picture The only reason I chose this hotel is that they can help me book tickets and it is close to the entrance of Changbai Mountain (but I didn't expect it to be so close, probably less than 100 meters, it feels like I can see this pointed ticket gate after walking two steps) It is indeed a bit inconvenient to go out to other attractions, but we are mainly here to go to Tianchi so it's okay. The room environment is better than I expected, quite clean, and similar to the style of Beipo Lanjing And the front desk service is very enthusiastic, especially a sister with round eyes who really tries to meet our needs as much as possible. We didn't bring a hot pack and couldn't find the store, and she also helped us find a colleague.

Sunggari Club Hotel Changbaishan

Impression: The hotel is so cute and really kids oriented. Its newly built and opened, hence not all taxi driver knew about the location. In Trip.com - English, the name is Sunggari Club Hotel. But if you want to ask taxi driver or bus, you should mention Sungouli instead and search in Amap using chinese name given in Trip.com. Location: West slope of Changbaishan. If the weather permitted, you can see the peak of Changbaishan from far away but very nice view. It was more happening at night around Swissotel area and more shops and restaurant around that area. Hotspring located in Clubmed building not far ifrom Swissotel and Burger King. The shuttle bus will only drop and pickup at Swissotel and not Clubmed, so you have to walk back to Swissotel once you finished with the hotspring. Pros: 1. Kids friendly - decorations, play area, room. All so cute and pretty. 2. The room package inclusive of the entrance vouchers and activities - skiing, deer place, hot spring, special event, breakfast. So it is really worth the money. 3. All the staffs are so friendly and helpful - even tried their best to communicate with us in English. 4. There is laundry room with washing machine and dryer and the detergents to wash and dry your clothes. Cons: 1. The hotel supposed to be kids friendly, but smoking is allowed inside the hotel. We've requested non-smoking room and we've got it. but the problem is, it is not non-smoking floor. Shockingly, there is smoking area in the hallway of the rooms besides the elevator in every level. So the smell will travel to the entire hallway and into the room. Since it was winter and heavy snow, we can't really open the window to let the smell get off. It was so suffocating. Really frustrated in regards of this as I strongly suggest for the hotel to consider implement a strict rules not allowed smoking in the premise and have a dedicated smoking area far from the room and eating place to promote safe place for the kids. 2. Even the hotel considered new, the toilet bowl still old-school, not automated as most of the new airbnb/homestay that we went. So for Malaysian, no bidet is the big concern 😅.

Our family room had two traditional heated beds (kang), which was perfect for letting the kids play around freely – so comfortable! We stayed at the resort for two days and felt it was super suitable for families with children. Right outside our door was a courtyard filled with thick snow, allowing the little ones to play to their heart's content. If we go again, we'll definitely choose Yuangxiang Resort! The environment is absolutely beautiful.

Changbaishan Wanda Realm Hotel Review The Wanda Realm Changbaishan is an excellent choice within the resort area, particularly for its ski-friendly features and outstanding value for money. It offers a well-rounded and hassle-free experience, making it ideal for families and ski enthusiasts alike. The hotel is centrally located within the Wanda Resort, with the ski slopes just a short walk away. Its back exit from the restaurant leads directly to the Haidongqing Ski Service Center, meaning no long queues for ski rentals or returns. The equipment is relatively new, and the flow is smooth, which is great for both beginners and advanced skiers. It's also close to the Dragon Cable Car, providing access to multiple runs once you reach the top, offering a fantastic ski-in/ski-out experience. The airport is about a 25-minute drive, and the hotel provides scheduled shuttle services, accommodating even late-night flights, making travel very convenient. The guest rooms are simple yet practical, with a moderate amount of space. The heating is ample, and hot water is consistent. The bedding is comfortable, and both soundproofing and cleanliness are top-notch. Some rooms offer views of the snow-covered mountains, providing a wonderful winter ambiance. There's also a NITRO co-branded floor with distinct ski elements, which younger guests will appreciate. Amenities include a gym and self-service laundry. The front desk service is responsive, and the staff are warm and attentive, promptly resolving any issues. The overall service is thoughtful. The 'Yue' Restaurant offers a rich and varied buffet breakfast, combining Chinese and Western options with plenty of hot food to refuel after skiing. For other meals, you can order authentic Northeastern specialty dishes, which are delicious and offer good value. Packages often include ski passes, hot springs, and water park access, making it a very cost-effective option for a one-stop vacation. On the downside, the rooms aren't particularly large, so multiple pieces of luggage might feel a bit cramped. Also, the resort's shuttle bus schedule is fixed, and you might have to wait during peak hours. Overall, these minor drawbacks don't detract from the experience. The location, convenience for skiing, service, and value for money are all exceptional. It's a foolproof choice for a winter vacation in Changbaishan, highly recommended for skiers, families, and leisure travelers.

Traveling in summer? You absolutely have to experience the Changbai Mountain Wanda Resort! We stayed at the Wanda Momo Hotel, and the lobby is just stunning – the decor and lighting are incredibly well-designed. We brought our kids for a four-day stay, and the package included so many activities that we couldn't even get to all of them every day. I must give a special shout-out to Manager Jack; his service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, just amazing! He proactively offered help throughout our stay and answered all our questions. We'll definitely be back if we get the chance!

The hotel environment is absolutely beautiful, nestled within the Wanda Resort villas, surrounded by lush greenery. The complimentary pick-up and drop-off service from both the train station and airport is very convenient. The room facilities are complete, and the balcony offers a stunning view of Changbai Mountain. The hotel service is excellent; the restaurant, housekeeping, concierge, and front desk staff are all incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Special shout-out to our duty manager, Joy, who added us on WeChat beforehand, making our check-in process smooth and reassuring. The hotel breakfast is incredibly rich and varied, and the à la carte dining is a nice touch. I'll definitely choose Park Hyatt again for future trips to see Changbai Mountain and Tianchi Lake!

Beyond expectations. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, proactively arranging pickup and providing thorough explanations and information during the journey – truly professional and attentive. Upon arrival, they helped with luggage and took it to the room. A small detail that really stood out was that the young man waited for me to close my door before he turned to leave after saying goodbye – very professional indeed! The pool is bright with high ceilings, and the 25-meter length made for a very pleasant swim. The changing rooms were also well-equipped. Hotel facilities and the room were excellent, quiet and clean. I particularly enjoyed the floor-to-ceiling windows and the unobstructed bathroom. The lobby has the standard resort hotel style and facilities, with a hint of Nordic wood design. There are sika deer in the courtyard that you can pet, which is great for kids. Breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh ingredients. For those who enjoy sleeping in, brunch is the most enjoyable part of the day. The hotel is surrounded by forest, truly living up to its reputation as a natural oxygen bar. The natural breeze from the room's AC was also refreshingly cool – a perfect place to escape the heat and find peace. Next time, I'll definitely choose Pullman Changbaishan again with my family to experience a slower pace of life, distinct from Shenyang.

Room: We booked a double room, and the front desk manager kindly upgraded us to a mountain view room for free. Opening the balcony door, we had a fantastic view of the Wanda resort amusement park. We were a group of three adults and one child, and they even provided an extra bed and breakfast free of charge. This grand hotel truly lives up to its reputation; the service is outstanding. Facilities: The hotel's decor is very stylish, with a Nordic design. The soundproofing is excellent too. I usually have trouble sleeping, but here I slept soundly all night, which I really appreciated. Environment: Visiting in summer, with the green grass and trees, being surrounded by nature was very refreshing. Transportation: The hotel offers complimentary shuttle services to and from the airport, high-speed rail station, and Tianchi Scenic Area, making getting around incredibly convenient. Dining: The hotel has direct access to a commercial street from its B1 level, which is very handy. The hotel's breakfast buffet was decent. During our stay, we also tried the ginseng chicken soup set meal at the hotel's Chinese restaurant; the portions were generous, the ingredients fresh, and the ambiance was good. Looking forward to visiting Changbai Mountain again in winter and will definitely stay at Hyatt Hotel!

Legaomei Hot Spring Resort Hotel

The hotel has a grand exterior, but the location is a bit out of the way and the surrounding area is deserted. Many of the hot spring pools were closed, and the service was a mess. I stayed for two nights, and when I came back on the second day, I found that the room hadn't been cleaned, the trash hadn't been taken out, and the water hadn't been brought in... This is the first time I've encountered this situation in a high-end hotel! The hotel restaurant is quite good, and the set meals are quite affordable.
