There are thousands of B&Bs, and I finally stayed in a hotel. Overall, the price is OK. I arrived near the Xipo Distribution Center at around 10 pm and was shivering with cold. The floor heating in the house gave me the courage to fight.
This hotel is very close to the Xipo Distribution Center, and it is very convenient to walk there. There is also breakfast, which is enough. Before I went up the mountain, I asked the hotel staff to fill half a bottle of hot water for me, and I filled it up directly. . Enough water for the whole journey.
There is a balcony, so you can go out and feel it if you are not afraid of the cold.

Eleven elsewhere crowded heads, here is a good scenery, Lushuihe Forest Park is particularly small, the scenery is particularly good.

The whole family is very satisfied with Yuanxiang Minsu Hotel! The decoration is a super-featured Northeast Kang, spacious, clean and sanitary, and the various layouts and stickers are very tasteful. When I first arrived in Changbai Mountain, I chose the Sheraton between Luneng Swiss and Wanda Sheraton. Considering that it had been open for more than ten years and the hotel barely met the standard of 4.5 points, I was really worried before checking in. After checking in, I found that my worries were completely unnecessary. Although the facilities are not that new, they are generally well maintained. The location is also excellent. It is very close to the ski equipment hall, about three minutes walk, which is quite convenient. The hotel front desk may be very tired due to the Spring Festival, so it looks a bit cold, and the service enthusiasm is not felt.
The room is a view room, you can see the ski field, the view is very wide, but only two small windows can be opened, and they are still diagonally opened.
The whole town is very convenient for eating, and it takes less than ten minutes to walk to Halla Mountain. There are restaurants, gyms, swimming pools, billiards, table tennis, etc. in the hotel.

The hotel is in a nice skiing area. Just leave and there is the first lift. The rooms are sufficient but maybe not standard for a 4 stars hotel. Example no rain shower, no iron to iron shirts.
Unfortunately the room we booked the heating was not working which is by minus 12 a no go. Therefore it was necessary to move in another room. The employees were very nice and helpful and tried to do the best to solve it immediately.
The restaurant I tried only 2 times. For the Christmas dinner and one for lunch a noodle soup. The dinner was just a ok except the backed ham was delicious. The noodle soup was not really good for the price.
The breakfast is standard Chinese breakfast. I loved there the noodle soup. (Why not at lunch?)
and the Chinese pancake are also very good.
The lobby bar is nice place to relax but the training for the stuff have to improved. I asked for semi dry red wine. Lately I picked a bottle by myself based on the grapes and my experience cause no help here and to open the bottle the waiter had to search first and opener. But the Cabernet Sauvignon was good. A recommendation is the coffee black no milk no sugar in the lobby bar. Very good.
Worth mention there were a lot of coupons included in thbooking like for skiing, hot springs and son on.
Summary the hotel is worth staying but they should also consider some improvements.

We chose Pullman Hotel when we came to Changbai Mountain. The lady at the front desk upgraded our room. The room is very private and quiet. We booked a package and got ski tickets, hot spring tickets, and dinner for two. There are two sika deer in the hotel. The auntie at dinner and breakfast is also very nice. Overall, it's very good.

So if you are coming here, you are going to Wanda Ski Resort. There are so many many hotels in the area that it really doesn't matter so much which one you pick.
Holiday Inn is one of the furthest away from the resort, but the price reflects this. However, it is still only a 10-15min walk (even when it's cold and icy) from the resort. The hotel is busy, there will be wait for the front desk, this is why service got 4/5, but the actual information from staff was okay (no English though so god bless my Chinese partner)
The hotel has a mini cinema, a restaurant and access to the ski slopes. You can hire ski's, snowboards along with all the boots and clothing required so you don't need to worry about that.
In the hotel is the rental place, you rent your gear and you simply walk out of the hotel and you are at the ski slopes. Please note this is NOT the same 10min walk to Wanda ski resort, the hotel has its own access to the mountain and you use that.
The restaurant is fine and breakfast was a buffet with mainly Chinese but some western stuff too.
The room, it's not large, but not cramped. Very warm, we even needed the windows open at -40C outside to avoid being too hot.
There is a mini supermarket in the hotel, but a better 24 hour store across the road.
I think for the money paid compared to other hotels, its very good value. Maybe other hotels have bigger rooms or more restaurants, but as every hotel is next to each other, I wouldn't bother paying more to get one closer to the resort as you can save thousands of RMB for a 1 min walk.
And as most of your time will be spent in Wanda ski resort, you won't be in your room much.
I doubt I would return to Changbaishan / Wanda Ski resort as an area, but if I did, then as long as the value was still there, Holiday Inn Express is a good enough choice

The only reason I chose this hotel is that they can help me book tickets and it is close to the entrance of Changbai Mountain (but I didn't expect it to be so close, probably less than 100 meters, it feels like I can see this pointed ticket gate after walking two steps)
It is indeed a bit inconvenient to go out to other attractions, but we are mainly here to go to Tianchi so it's okay.
The room environment is better than I expected, quite clean, and similar to the style of Beipo Lanjing
And the front desk service is very enthusiastic, especially a sister with round eyes who really tries to meet our needs as much as possible. We didn't bring a hot pack and couldn't find the store, and she also helped us find a colleague.

GGuest UserOverall, it was a good skiing experience. Here are some suggestions for Ctrip friends who want to stay later:
1. The snow house exit of the hotel is dozens of meters away from the entrance of the Baihu cableway. It is very tiring to walk, especially for skiers. But if you pay more attention, you will find that there is a small door about ten meters from the snow house that can enter the primary ski resort and ski to the cableway entrance. We didn't find this until the next day
2. The hotel has an outdoor soaking pool, which is very comfortable after skiing. Outside the swimming pool, remember to bring the bathrobe in the room, otherwise even a short distance is enough to freeze you
3. Snow houses offer free rental of skateboards, shoes, and ski poles, but goggles and snow suits have to be rented, especially the goggles are very old. So if it is convenient, you should buy goggles, snow suits, gloves, and headgear online in advance.
4. The room is relatively large, and the bathroom and the entrance to the room are separated into a small room. The children said that the bathroom is almost better than at home, but there is no ”Dyson” as rumored. There is a coffee machine and coffee ingredients, a variety of teas, and beverages.
5. The air-conditioning temperature is relatively warm, but the default quilt is thicker and it still feels hot when sleeping at night, and the children can't cover it. I reported to the front desk that it might be because I came from the south and couldn't adapt, so they helped arrange a thin quilt. GGuest UserYou need to go around the main entrance of Hyatt. The first hotel bus stops when you enter the resort. I come to Wanda every year. This time I will talk about Hyatt.
Let me start with the good things.
1. The lobby is spacious and well decorated. The rooms are also well decorated with a sense of texture and a design of separating wet and dry areas.
2. The concierge will also take the initiative to greet you and send your luggage to check-in.
3. The ski house is very close to Gentleman Road and White Tiger Road, which is very convenient.
4. The flight was delayed to 8 pm on the last day. Molly at the front desk extended my check-out time to 3 pm to avoid waiting in the lobby for a long time.
5. Breakfast dishes are different every day, such as freshly baked pancakes with lamb soup, veal soup, spicy soup, porridge and four hot dishes.
There is still room for improvement.
1. Although the front desk check-in is not slow, some things are not detailed, such as the direction of the snow house, the location of breakfast, and the bus. It would be faster if you just put a bus timetable and take a photo. No, it takes time for guests to find the relevant department.
2. The room was not cleaned well when the front desk checked in, so I went to apply for a ski card first, but the small check-in form required for the review was not given to me. I ran back and forth, which is not good.
3. No one helped me with my luggage when I got to the room by the elevator
4. The room was very dark, especially at night. I couldn't sit at all. I felt drowsy and depressed.
5. The layout of the room was a bit cramped and not spacious enough. Why did I feel that this 45 square meters was a bit small? The wardrobe was very narrow with only half a door. There were many hangers but what was the use? The washbasin next to the toilet had never been filled with towels
6. There was a bottle of mineral water left by the previous guest under the bedside table near the balcony. I found it when I was sitting on a chair and turned on the night light at night. The glass of the root carving layer was full of dust. It must have not been wiped for several days
