Sheraton Changbaishan Resort

The concierge, Xiao Hui, was incredibly helpful. He provided a lot of information in advance and took care of everything, which I really appreciated. Sheraton is an established hotel, and its management and service are very professional. The cleanliness was good, and the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. We had a mountain view room, where we could see Changbai Mountain in the distance. On the night we checked in, we even caught the Midsummer Firework Festival and saw beautiful fireworks and molten iron sparks (datiehua) performances. My child was very happy!

We booked the 'Balala the Fairies Princess Room,' and my baby absolutely loved it. **Facilities:** The hotel is a bit old, so some of the facilities are a bit dated. The TV couldn't connect to the internet and the picture was a bit blurry – I'd suggest an upgrade. The showerhead in the bathroom was also leaking a bit. Other than that, everything else was pretty good, especially the decor in the princess room, which was lovely. They even provided princess dresses, which my baby adored. The kids' room also had a step stool for the sink and a toilet stool, which was a thoughtful touch. **Hygiene:** The hygiene was acceptable; I didn't find any unclean spots. **Environment:** The overall environment was good, very quiet and not noisy. **Service:** The service was also great. Responses were quick, and the staff were all very friendly. I'll choose Sheraton again next time. The breakfast was good, and my child really enjoyed it, especially the desserts which were delicious.

This was the most satisfying hotel we stayed at during our trip to Changbai Mountain Wanda Resort. The room was spacious, with a separate walk-in closet. The sofa and coffee table were perfect for enjoying some tea and relaxing. There was also a reading sofa by the window, a desk, and a lamp, all well-equipped. The chair was very comfortable, making it ideal for reading and writing. Front desk staffer Xiao Ying was warm, thoughtful, and professional, answering all our questions. We received a complimentary breakfast, and our two children really enjoyed the buffet. The restaurant opens up to a lawn with lush greenery – very chill. There were plenty of benefits, but the only downside was that each perk could only be used once per hotel. The next day, we switched to the Hyatt, and it was such a downgrade – the room was small, dimly lit, had no desk lamp, and the service was non-existent.

The room facilities were complete, and the room service was excellent. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and there were so many complimentary activities that we couldn't even get to all of them. The concierge, Xiao Hui, was warm and thoughtful, helping us plan our itinerary perfectly. He's truly trustworthy! 👍🏿 Climbing to Tianchi requires a clear day, and it was worth the wait.

The Sheraton boasts an excellent environment, with all dining, entertainment, and activities covered within the resort, making it incredibly convenient for leisure and travel. A special shout-out to Xiao Hui from the concierge team – he was incredibly warm and attentive. He proactively helped us upgrade our room (with a view of the distant Changbai Mountain Heavenly Lake!) and thoroughly explained local attractions and dining recommendations. His service was professional and heartwarming, making our entire experience fantastic. Highly recommended!

The hotel's facilities are great, you can tell they put a lot of effort into maintenance 👍. The Chinese restaurant needs to add more dishes to its menu; it's currently too limited. The front desk service staff need better training.

Great service, and the room had a fantastic view of Changbai Mountain and a beautiful sunrise.

I requested a room change, and Bolin at the front desk was incredibly helpful. I was in a hurry to leave, so she even helped move my luggage to the new room, which I really appreciate! The scenery is beautiful, and the environment is lovely with butterflies (see photo P3). The breakfast was absolutely delicious – it felt like a little Nordic experience in China! 👍

The room was great, and the staff were all very welcoming. Butler #2 was especially quick to respond. I'd definitely come back again.
