Changbai Mountain Puxuan Hotel

If you're looking for a place close to the attractions, this hotel is a decent option. It's relatively new, but there seem to be some issues with staff coordination. The included tickets for the Nanshan ski resort were for a place that was incredibly run-down and dirty. I'd recommend skipping any included tickets and just booking the hotel separately. For skiing, you're much better off going to Wanda or, if you're on a budget, the Songguo Village ski resort – both are cleaner and newer than Nanshan. ^_^

Our first stop in Changbai Mountain was the newly opened hotel on the West Slope. They offered a complimentary airport pick-up service, which was super convenient as we didn't have to drag our luggage around looking for the hotel. The hotel itself is in a fairly lively area, probably the tallest building in town. The West Slope scenic area was closed, so we spent the afternoon enjoying activities at the forest park not far from the hotel, which was great since they provided shuttle service. Dining and shopping nearby were very convenient; there were restaurants all along the street and a local specialty shop across the road. The hotel breakfast was just okay, but I didn't have high expectations anyway. Ordering takeout was also easy, and a robot would deliver it right to our room.

Having stayed at this hotel multiple times on my various trips to Changbai Mountain and Songjianghe, I can only say the overall experience is barely satisfactory. Issues I've raised in previous stays, such as unstable water pressure, water fluctuating between hot and cold during showers, inability to cast to the TV, and an empty minibar, remain completely unaddressed. For a suite at this price point, these are basic amenities that should be met, and their absence significantly detracts from the experience. To be fair, the location is a definite plus, right in Songjianghe town, making travel and dining very convenient. And in terms of cleanliness, hotel environment, and front desk service, it's pretty good compared to other hotels in the town, though it's far from exceptional. I truly hope the management takes guest feedback seriously and resolves these long-standing issues.

The facilities are complete, the hygiene is clean, the service attitude is good, and the environment is beautiful.

Overall, it was great! Clean and hygienic, the room facilities were excellent, and the front desk service was also very good! The shuttle driver was awesome too 👍 It's also convenient to find food nearby, I recommend "Zanjia Xiaoguan" (Our Little Restaurant).

The room was spacious, but the shower stall was a bit small with low water pressure. Breakfast was a bit repetitive, with the same vegetables and fried rice for several days in a row. The front desk service was excellent. It's close to Changbaishan West High-Speed Rail Station and about a 30-minute drive from the airport.

Very comfortable and convenient, offering great value for money. I've already booked it again for my next stay.
