I forgot to take pictures of the room but I love how huge it is, perfect for groups and families to stay. The host is also very responsive and helpful. He picked up and dropped me off from and to the Railway station, just tell him what you need and he does his best to comply to the requests. The foods are also very local and tasty.
The hotel is just few minutes of walk from Wanda Ski Resort. You can also take a taxi from the hotel to Wanda for more or less than 10rmb. The hotel is just near from several restaurants and stores. I even rented my ski suit from the store just near the hotel for only 80rmb/day with a deposit (refundable) of 300rmb which is way cheaper than renting ski suits from Wanda.
The hotel is in Guosongcun and the place is perfect for those who want peace and quiet, away from too much crowd. Overall, my stay was absolutely pleasant and if I come back to Changbaishanxi again, I will definitely book the same hotel 👍👍👍❤️

_liaoxiaWe stopped here to rest after visiting Changbai Mountain, and the owner was very welcoming! He even took us to the airport around 5 a.m.
It's very close to the airport, only 7 kilometers away, a 10-minute drive. If you're catching an early flight, you can stay here for the night. However, since it's in a small town, the facilities can't compare to a hotel, but the price reflects that, which is understandable.

Guest UserThe hotel is located on a corner at the entrance to a street food area. The owner is a kind elderly woman who provides excellent service. However, she doesn't speak English, only Chinese, so a translation service is necessary. Sometimes, she doesn't wait for you to activate the translation function, so you might not understand and need to ask her to repeat herself.
You can arrange airport pick-up via WeChat (find the hotel's number on amap) for 70 yuan.
The hotel is clean. Towels are freshly laundered and provided daily. Slippers, soap, shampoo, and toothbrushes are provided. Two bottles of drinking water are included daily. Rooms have individual air conditioning controls. There is no cigarette smell, and there is an elevator.
You can arrange for the hotel to take you rafting or to a ski resort (there's a small ski resort called Xiaohe with a magic carpet, perfect for beginners. It's not crowded, and instructors are available for hire).
There are many restaurants nearby, and a supermarket within walking distance.
The English spelling of the hotel name varies, but if it begins with a ”wo” sound, it's the right one.

Guest UserLocation: It is more than 1 kilometer away from the nearest Nanpo Visitor Center. It costs 10 yuan to take a taxi there. You can take the official round-trip shuttle bus (60 yuan round trip) to the Nanpo Gate and take the scenic area shuttle bus at the gate.
Environment: Residents build their own houses, there are supermarkets and restaurants next door, very convenient
Hygiene: The room and bathroom are clean, but the bedding has a few old stains. It is relatively clean among hotels.
Service: The boss was very enthusiastic and helped me contact a lady who provided home massage. It was 100 yuan per hour and the massage was very good. If you need help, you can ask the boss to help contact her.

Guest UserI booked this hotel for my trip to Changbai Mountain, and the front desk staff were nice. The Changbai Mountain West Railway Station offers a shuttle service to and from the hotel, which is very convenient.
The heating was good; it wasn't cold at all. The hot water and shower were comfortable, and the towels were fairly clean.
The hotel TV can be projected, which is great. I ordered takeout to watch TV since I didn't get to visit Tianchi Lake. The hotel is quite close to the West Slope and the Forest Park; a taxi ride only costs the starting fare, haha.
The only fatal flaw was the incredibly basic breakfast.
The menu was as follows: four kinds of pickled vegetables, two kinds of steamed buns, one kind of steamed bread, a serving of millet porridge, and a boiled egg. It was stated that breakfast was from 7:30 to 9:00 AM. On the first morning, I arrived around 8:00 AM, and the restaurant was already dark and empty. On the second day, I arrived close to 8:00 AM and finally saw the breakfast I just described—a truly pitiful breakfast. There were only three meat buns left, and they wouldn't restock.
If it weren't for this breakfast, I might have given it a five-star review, but this stingy breakfast completely lowered the hotel's overall quality. If you don't want to pay for breakfast, just cancel it; there's no need to go through all this trouble.

HeibaisumiaoRThe room size is okay, the location is good, the decoration is a bit old, the price is very good for the Golden Week, and it also includes breakfast. Overall it is a very cost-effective choice. It is very close to Xipo and Wanda, and you can drive to Beipo The road around the mountain is particularly beautiful in autumn, and it is not far from Luneng. The Manjiang Grand Canyon is particularly spectacular. Changbai Mountain in autumn is full of oil painting-like scenery! Sanjianghui Scenic Area is also good. I stayed at Songjiang River for four full days. Although I didn’t get the tickets for Changbai Mountain, I had a lot of fun every day!

Friends who travel to Changbai Mountain must make an appointment for Changbai Mountain tickets before booking the hotel, and then book the hotel. Recommend this very cost-effective hotel 🏨 Good health, good environment, good service, convenient parking, very close to the West Scenic Area distribution center, about 200 meters without driving. There is also a snack street across the road, which is very convenient for eating. The proprietress is also very enthusiastic and recommends friends to stay at ease.

I really liked the large heated bed. The train station is across the street. The hostess was very friendly. She told me right away how to buy a ticket to the volcano. You can take a taxi to the bus stop to Valkan. The city itself is not touristy at all, nothing to see. She offered me a bottle of water, saying it was from the volcano. A towel, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and a toothbrush are provided. I liked it.

The facilities were excellent, and we experienced the heated kang (traditional Chinese bed). The young lady who greeted us was warm and attentive. Worried that our group might be too crowded, she even helped us get a larger room. She gave us detailed information about nearby restaurants and attractions, things to watch out for, and places to avoid – very thoughtful! Before going, I was worried about the bathroom conditions, but my concerns were completely unnecessary. Perhaps the lighting in the photos made the cement floor look dirty… They only provided disposable towels and bath towels. Staying in the village was very comfortable; there were restaurants just steps away. The iron pot stew was generous and affordable, and the local specialties were inexpensive. I would definitely stay here again next time I go to Changbai Mountain.

This was my first time visiting Changbai Mountain, and we chose to stay in these cabins for our first night. The weather has been warm these past few days, and it's a bit remote here, so the snow is pristine. It was my child's first time seeing so much snow, and they could play right outside the cabin door while the adults relaxed inside. If you like peace and quiet and getting away from it all, you might enjoy this. There are also some small attractions nearby to explore, and the little dogs and cats add a charming, rustic touch. Afterwards, we went skiing at the Luneng Resort Hotel, but the snow play there wasn't as clean as it was here.
Of course, the accommodation isn't as luxurious as a resort hotel, so if you're particularly picky, this might not be for you. It really depends on what you prioritize; this place is all about the ambiance. For dining, there's only one iron pot stew restaurant right outside, which is decent. If you're staying for multiple nights, you won't have much variety for food. Overall, I'd say it's a good idea to combine a stay here with a resort hotel to experience different vibes. My child really loved it.
