I had a lovely stay at 77 Patong Hotel. The service team was incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The location is ideal—just a 5-minute walk to Bangla Road, plenty of great restaurants. The hotel was clean and well-kept, and I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and nice view from my room. It's definitely a solid choice for anyone visiting Patong!

Good location, lovely price, has a swimming pool as well, not very big, compact room, good water pressure.

Hotel located right in the center of Patong, downstairs you can find literally everything you need for normal functioning - a pharmacy, laundry (very cheap), 7/11, you can get breakfast. The hotel itself has seen its best days and definitely needs renovation, which is visible in the attached photos. I don’t recommend bathing in the pool - the water is not cleaned or filtered, there’s literally sand at the bottom, and sometimes paper wrappers float in it. The staff is very nice and helpful, WiFi works fine considering the tropical conditions.

We spent some good days in the hotel. The one little thing that we didn't like are construction works right in front of our window, in the next hotel. But it's temporary trouble.

I only had one night to spare in Phuket, but my stay at the Fun Dee Boutique Hotel turned a quick stopover into a genuinely lovely experience. I loved that I could step right out and be in the heart of it all—buzzing restaurants, local shops, and the vibrant energy of Patong were literally steps away. Yet, the moment I entered the hotel, the noise faded away. That balance of being in the center of the action but feeling peaceful is hard to master, and they nailed it. Service & Staff: 5/5 This is where Fun Dee truly shines. The team wasn’t just professional; they were warm and personally attentive. The gentleman at check-in noticed my tired-from-travel look and offered a refreshing welcome drink with a smile that felt sincerely kind. Every staff member I passed in the hall offered a friendly ”sawasdee.” It wasn’t robotic service; it felt like they were genuinely happy to have you there and wanted to help. That human touch makes all the difference. Room & Cleanliness: 5/5 My room was a delightful surprise—spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and smelled wonderfully fresh. The boutique charm came through in the décor, which felt modern yet cozy. After a day out in the humid Phuket heat, coming back to a cool, immaculate room where everything just worked perfectly (the blissfully strong A/C, the reliable Wi-Fi, the powerful shower) was exactly what I needed. Overall: For my one-night stay, Fun Dee Boutique Hotel delivered so much more than just a place to sleep. It offered convenience without chaos, style without stiffness, and service with a real smile. I left feeling refreshed and a little wishful that I’d booked a longer stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or to recommend it to friends looking for a personable and perfectly located spot in Phuket.

FYI NOT FOR Kids! Everything was great but not recommnded for families with young kids. To much naughtyness outside the hotel which they should not be seeing. Hotel amenities are well thought out. Gave us slippers and a beach bag. Smart. good cleaning service and clean rooms. iron available Nice pool. But glass was dirty you can not see outside. breakfast looked nice but we chose to get hot drinks and croissants from 7 eleven or eat out for brekkie.

The hotel room itself was gorgeous, semi-comfortable bed, the room was cleaned each day and restocked water and toiletries. The location is pretty good as it is next to Central and also a day/evening market with a 7/11 at the end of the road. My biggest problem was safety. It doesn’t have a road front lobby so you have to go through a little ally then up some stairs to get to the rooms. The door to the stairs is open 24/7 with no lock so literally anyone could get up into the hotel. The rooms only had a simple handle push button lock and didn’t have any other safety system. The lack of security and not having any reception staff on except when they are expecting guests to arrive/ leave meant the hotel feels very unsafe. As a solo traveller, that is my primary concern. There was a safety issue at one point with a guest being disruptive in the halls, it took about an hour for this to be sorted by a member of staff as I actually had to contact the owner of the hotel who then had to get some staff to the hotel to sort the problem. So even though it is a nice hotel, it wasn’t worth being worried about my safety.

The Patong Center Hotel provides clean, comfortable rooms and well-maintained bathrooms. Its location is ideal—just a short walk to Patong’s most happening area, Bangla Street, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and nightlife. While the hotel does not offer motorbike rental services directly, there are plenty of rental shops right next door. The front desk receptionist deserves special mention for her kindness and attentiveness; she took the time to remind guests, even those from ASEAN countries who can drive without an international license, to rent only with one due to frequent roadblocks in the area. Overall, a clean, convenient, and well-situated hotel with staff who genuinely care about guests’ safety and comfort.
