Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town

Seriously impressed! The service here was excellent and really thoughtful. Knowing we were a couple with a child, they pre-made the sofa bed for us and even prepared three toothbrushes, which was incredibly considerate. Out of all the hotels I've stayed at, Courtyard's service always stands out, and this particular Courtyard in Phuket deserves full marks! 👍

The room is very nice and beautiful, with a French style. The location is excellent, within walking distance to Phuket Old Town, and there's a 7-Eleven nearby. The service is also good. Although the breakfast selection isn't extensive, the food is delicious, exceeding the standard of typical resort hotels – definitely worth trying. The price is also reasonable, offering great value for money. It's perfect for tourists who want to explore Phuket Old Town and Central Phuket.

The front desk staff were incredibly nice; they chatted with our child, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. They even arranged our room in the middle of the corridor, close to the lift lobby. The lobby and restaurant have a charming, nostalgic decor, offering great views and a lovely ambiance. While the room facilities and decor are a bit dated, they're not too old, and our room had a sea view. Breakfast was quite delicious, and the coffee was excellent, with staff being very friendly. Housekeeping was also fantastic; about an hour and a half after we checked out, we received an email from the hotel asking how they could return a book our child had left behind—very quick and responsive! The bellhops were also excellent, helping with luggage and opening doors. Just a short distance from the hotel's roundabout, there's a small Michelin-starred restaurant with delicious food. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Phuket Town.

The bed was right next to the bathroom door, the curtains wouldn't close properly, and there was zero soundproofing. Overall, it was really bad.

The service was excellent, very thorough and polite. The room was also quite clean, but the soundproofing was really poor.

Pros: The service was excellent, and the location was superb – within walking distance to all the attractions in the Old Town. The breakfast was also very good, definitely one of the better ones we had during our stay in Phuket. Cons: However, the room might have been newly renovated as there was a very strong smell of renovation, and the windows couldn't be opened. If you're traveling with children, I'd advise caution.

This is considered a good hotel in Phuket Town, but the room is quite small and the facilities are a bit old. The water quality is very poor; the filter in my showerhead was completely dirty after just one wash. Overall, the hotel staff has a good service attitude. It's similar to an economy chain hotel in China.

Not bad. The room was clean and pretty. There's a waiting area available if you arrive before check-in time. It's within walking distance to the sightseeing area of Phuket Town, so transportation is convenient. Highly recommended.
