With a stay at Rome Lux House guest rooms in Rome (San Giovanni), you'll be a 2-minute drive from Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano and 5 minutes from Colosseum. This guesthouse is 2.6 mi (4.1 km) from Mercati di Traiano Museo dei Fori Imperiali and 2.8 mi (4.6 km) from Piazza di Spagna. Make use of convenient amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access, shopping on site, and a communal living room. Featured amenities include a computer station, multilingual staff, and an elevator. Make yourself at home in one of the 3 individually decorated guestrooms, featuring espresso makers and Smart televisions. Your pillowtop bed comes with premium bedding. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and cable programming is available for your entertainment. Bathrooms feature showers with rainfall showerheads and complimentary toiletries.

"The homestay is newly renovated, the quality of the materials is good, the facilities are complete, clean and beautiful. However, the homestay is unattended and the check-in procedure is very complicated. You need to open three door locks to check in: the unit door facing the street in the building, the entrance door to the homestay suite, and the room door allocated in the suite. Open the door of the unit where the homestay is located (first road) and the assigned room in the suite (third road) are all using ordinary keys. But to get the keys to these two doors, a third-party lock control company needs to send customers a second door via email, that is, the electronic lock of the suite door unlock password. The third-party door lock control company, ~ about an hour before the check-in time, sent the password to open the electronic door lock of the homestay suite through email. But even if you get the password for the second electronic door lock, if there is no other resident to help open the unit door, guests can't enter the first unit door and can't stay. Importantly, both homestays and third-party lock control companies send several emails to customers after booking, but the emails sent to them by customers are either unanswered or returned because there is nowhere to be sent. Therefore, the guests can't contact the other party at all, can't ask the details of the check-in process, and can't understand such a complicated self-check-in logic. The second problem is that the bathroom is too small. Although the sanitary ware is very new, the bathroom is only 60x60 cm large, and the fat person doesn't even have room to bow his head and lame. To be honest, I hope the store will improve the self-check-in process and the service is first!"

"The owner was super lovely! He patiently explained and showed us how to use the elevator and door locks. Plus, he even helped us with our luggage! 👍🏻 The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the station, and there's a bus stop nearby, making it really convenient to get to tourist attractions."

"The location is good but maybe a little far away, next time I would stay 10 mins walk closer to the centre. We had a few issues, being emailed about ongoing ground floor work that would affect us at 9am on the day we check in... so of course too late to cancel or make alternative arrangements! They did thankfully move us to a higher floor room but then we weren't able to check in until 16.40pm...Then housekeeping forgot to turn our hot water on, so on day 2 we had no access to hot water and they took over 2 hours to solve it with bad communication and no apologies. Overall, it is nice and clean, but the internal facing balcony is pointless and the apartments have no soul. I would stay somewhere else for the money."

"The room was very clean, and both the front desk and housekeeping staff were super friendly and welcoming. The best part, though, was the fantastic location – so many attractions and highly-rated restaurants nearby! The only minor downsides were that the elevator had a slight issue during my stay, but that didn't really detract from the overall experience, and the water pressure in the bathroom was a little low, though completely acceptable."

It was quite a challenging stay. The requests I made in the booking were completely ignored. Upon arrival, we had to change rooms, which seemed to upset the front desk staff quite a bit. A South Asian porter helped us with our luggage. I didn't have any small change, as I mostly pay with cards and rarely use cash, so I only gave him a 2 Euro coin as a tip. From that moment on, whenever he saw us, he showed absolutely no expression. I mean, it's not like I was going to give him a 200 or 500 Euro bill, right? Was it even worth that much? The hotel breakfast was excellent. The room, although not as good as the original one after the change, was still acceptable. The location is fantastic: just a few dozen meters from the train station, and there's an airport shuttle right outside. There are no issues with the location, and the area isn't as chaotic as some say. The only problem is that all the staff had rather cold and indifferent expressions, making you feel, for a moment, like you weren't even in Italy! I won't be staying here again, even with its many advantages. I just don't want to deal with their attitudes!

The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the bedding – sheets, duvet covers, and pillows – was equally pleasant. It's conveniently located very close to the Vatican, with a taxi ride costing only 20 Euros. Each room comes with a balcony, and the air quality was quite good. However, the room temperature wasn't individually adjustable. It was 28°C (82°F) during our summer stay, and it got so hot that we had to wait until after 9 AM the following day for someone from maintenance to adjust it. There's a pool downstairs which seemed quite clean, but access isn't direct; you need to pick up a pass from the front desk first.

Great location easy access across from Vatican entrance, to Metro - 10mins walk, or buses 5-8mins depending on the routes. Great clean, comfort bedding, with nice working A/C for summer Aug 36-37 degC. Use Google Map to get transportation reference, pretty the local use, but the bus schedule could be off, prepare to walk plenty.

A fantastic stay at Nobu Hotel Rome. A small boutique hotel in a great location, tucked away in a quiet area yet perfectly central. There were a few minor hiccups, but they were immediately and efficiently addressed by Giovanni and the front desk team, who genuinely went out of their way to make sure my family and I were well taken care of. Excellent service and a very pleasant experience overall.

We stayed here for four nights in June of 2025. The location of the hotel is generally good for getting to some of the more noteworthy site (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.). There's a metro station around 8 minutes walk away, which opens up most of the rest of the city pretty well. We walked from here to the Vatican, which took around 35 minutes, but would be less than half that by cab. The surrounding area is great for clothing shops, but the food we found nearby was mostly so-so, and frequently over-priced tourist fare, though I'm sure if you walk a little farther from the hotel you can find some good options. The room itself was booked for a family of four, and was comfortable. The bathroom and shower had good water pressure, and the AC worked just fine. Some of the sheets were not quite clean, but we just didn't use the one we found slightly dirty. The beds were comfortable and a good size. The room and hotel have little to no facilities, so you're really just paying for room and the location. The exterior entrance is not well marked, and we actually walked past it on the street several times. If you're thinking of booking here, I'd recommend just looking for the GAP store which is directly across the street, much easier to find. Our interactions with the hotel staff were limited. We received a number of automated messages, some of which were contradictory, or had out of date information. After booking and paying for the room (a non-refundable booking) we were told there was an extra ”city tax” not included which would need to be paid before checking in which amounted to around an extra $90 or so, and the offered price of an airport transfer service went up as soon as we requested it (from 85 euros to 95). The hotel arranged the transfer service for us, but the driver left the airport before we could get out of the passport control due to another booking. The driver service showed up at the hotel at the time the flight was supposed to arrive, even though the flight was late, and you'd expect them to know that going through passport control takes easily an hour, so this seems to be quite poor planning on behalf of either the hotel or the service. We ended up taking a taxi from the airport which was also slightly over half the price of the transfer service, so I'd recommend skipping their service, it seems like a rip-off. Taxis from the airport to the city center seem to be subsidized by the government, and were a fixed price of 55 euros (for a normal size car big enough for 4 people) at the time we visited. The train from the airport is also not a bad idea if you're comfortable using the metro, as the train station is just 3-4 metro stops from the nearest metro station to the hotel (Spagna). Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but felt like we mostly paid for the location.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The cleanliness was outstanding, and everything was well-maintained throughout our visit. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making the service truly excellent. The amenities were also excellent and contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The only downside was the location, as it was quite far from the city center. Reaching the main attractions required changing buses and metro lines several times, which was inconvenient and time-consuming. It would be very helpful if the property could offer a shuttle service for guests, even as a paid option, to make transportation easier and more convenient. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this property, especially for couples looking for a clean, relaxing, and well-equipped place to stay. Many thanks to all wonderful staffs

Traveling to Rome, I unexpectedly booked this Ibis, which is exceptionally good value. It is less than a kilometer walk from the subway. The hotel is next to a quiet community on a high ground. It is very quiet, and people are running in the early morning. The transportation is convenient, and the nearby bus and light rail are good to go everywhere. The key is that the breakfast is particularly rich. There is a Chinese restaurant opened by Wenzhou people next to the subway station. Occasionally, you can adjust your stomach. It is not expensive and quite authentic. I went out to play in Pompeii for a day, and the luggage was stored in the hotel. The service was also very good. It will still be my first choice next time I come.
