I recently enjoyed one of my best vacations ever at Piazza di Spagna 9 Luxury Suites in Rome. From the moment I booked, the team reached out via WhatsApp to offer help with transfers or tours — thoughtful and attentive without being pushy. I immediately felt like a valued guest. The suites sit on the third floor of a charming historic building right next to the Spanish Steps. Despite the unbeatable location, it’s remarkably quiet and relaxing. The concierge service is top-notch — when I was running late for my Pantheon visit, staff quickly arranged to collect my luggage so my husband and I could head out stress-free. Their restaurant recommendations were another highlight. We tried four places from their curated list, each superb and fairly priced, letting us experience authentic local dining away from tourist traps. The team even handled all our reservations. The reception area feels more like an art gallery, with stylish décor and vibrant paintings. Guests can relax in the cozy living or dining areas — a lovely touch. Our suite faced the piazza and was filled with natural light, offering a perfect view of visitors strolling by the Spanish Steps. Being steps away from Via Condotti’s luxury boutiques adds to the convenience. Special thanks to Franco, the owner, for his wonderful restaurant suggestions, and to Gianmarco whose friendly help made our stay extra smooth. The genuine hospitality and personal attention here truly stand out. It’s not just about luxury — it’s about feeling welcome and cared for. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, making it easy to get around. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast, though simple, was a nice touch as they proactively offered freshly brewed coffee. We stayed in a triple room; the double bed was very spacious, and while the single bed wasn't huge, it was perfectly acceptable for a 16-year-old. For three people including breakfast, the hotel offers decent value for money. There's a fantastic Filipino restaurant nearby that's definitely worth checking out!

The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the bedding – sheets, duvet covers, and pillows – was equally pleasant. It's conveniently located very close to the Vatican, with a taxi ride costing only 20 Euros. Each room comes with a balcony, and the air quality was quite good. However, the room temperature wasn't individually adjustable. It was 28°C (82°F) during our summer stay, and it got so hot that we had to wait until after 9 AM the following day for someone from maintenance to adjust it. There's a pool downstairs which seemed quite clean, but access isn't direct; you need to pick up a pass from the front desk first.

Great location easy access across from Vatican entrance, to Metro - 10mins walk, or buses 5-8mins depending on the routes. Great clean, comfort bedding, with nice working A/C for summer Aug 36-37 degC. Use Google Map to get transportation reference, pretty the local use, but the bus schedule could be off, prepare to walk plenty.

Very satisfied with two days of stay, this trip to Italy is the best. The room was better than expected, but the single room gave me a double bed, there was a refrigerator, breakfast, a kettle, and a quite large balcony to see the daily life of the local people; very quiet, close to St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican, foreign elderly tour groups will choose here; Going down for a few minutes, there is a Carrefour. The best thing is that there is a train station Roma S. Pietro, 40 minutes to the airport, it is too convenient for me to go to the airport on the last morning! If there are shortcomings, because it is a bit difficult to find on a high place, it is difficult to drag the suitcase to walk.

We stayed here for four nights in June of 2025. The location of the hotel is generally good for getting to some of the more noteworthy site (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.). There's a metro station around 8 minutes walk away, which opens up most of the rest of the city pretty well. We walked from here to the Vatican, which took around 35 minutes, but would be less than half that by cab. The surrounding area is great for clothing shops, but the food we found nearby was mostly so-so, and frequently over-priced tourist fare, though I'm sure if you walk a little farther from the hotel you can find some good options. The room itself was booked for a family of four, and was comfortable. The bathroom and shower had good water pressure, and the AC worked just fine. Some of the sheets were not quite clean, but we just didn't use the one we found slightly dirty. The beds were comfortable and a good size. The room and hotel have little to no facilities, so you're really just paying for room and the location. The exterior entrance is not well marked, and we actually walked past it on the street several times. If you're thinking of booking here, I'd recommend just looking for the GAP store which is directly across the street, much easier to find. Our interactions with the hotel staff were limited. We received a number of automated messages, some of which were contradictory, or had out of date information. After booking and paying for the room (a non-refundable booking) we were told there was an extra ”city tax” not included which would need to be paid before checking in which amounted to around an extra $90 or so, and the offered price of an airport transfer service went up as soon as we requested it (from 85 euros to 95). The hotel arranged the transfer service for us, but the driver left the airport before we could get out of the passport control due to another booking. The driver service showed up at the hotel at the time the flight was supposed to arrive, even though the flight was late, and you'd expect them to know that going through passport control takes easily an hour, so this seems to be quite poor planning on behalf of either the hotel or the service. We ended up taking a taxi from the airport which was also slightly over half the price of the transfer service, so I'd recommend skipping their service, it seems like a rip-off. Taxis from the airport to the city center seem to be subsidized by the government, and were a fixed price of 55 euros (for a normal size car big enough for 4 people) at the time we visited. The train from the airport is also not a bad idea if you're comfortable using the metro, as the train station is just 3-4 metro stops from the nearest metro station to the hotel (Spagna). Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but felt like we mostly paid for the location.

A pleasant surprise near the Fontana di Trevi. Nice room with clean and clean furnishings. Excellent experience especially thanks to the availability and kindness of the owner who has done everything to make our stay perfect! We will return!!!

”A reaaalllyy frkn slow check-in” we waited like 30-40 minutes just to check-in. Otherwise Things were good. Well, the village provides really clean and private houses for very affordable price. ***For everyone thinking about staying here, please mind that this place is very very far from the city, 2 bus line come & go to the city and if you miss one in the morning it has gap of 1 hour so might take so long for the next one.

Traveling to Rome, I unexpectedly booked this Ibis, which is exceptionally good value. It is less than a kilometer walk from the subway. The hotel is next to a quiet community on a high ground. It is very quiet, and people are running in the early morning. The transportation is convenient, and the nearby bus and light rail are good to go everywhere. The key is that the breakfast is particularly rich. There is a Chinese restaurant opened by Wenzhou people next to the subway station. Occasionally, you can adjust your stomach. It is not expensive and quite authentic. I went out to play in Pompeii for a day, and the luggage was stored in the hotel. The service was also very good. It will still be my first choice next time I come.
