Best Western Premier Hotel Royal Santina

The location is very convenient, not far from Termini Station, and directly opposite the airport bus stop. The renovation also seems quite new, definitely not from 2010 as stated on their homepage. However, the showerhead is really inconvenient. Every time you turn on the water, it defaults to the large overhead shower. You have to manually pull a button to switch it, and even after switching, the overhead shower still drips cold water. The water pressure is also very low. I hope the hotel can look into maintenance. The service was excellent, and the staff were very enthusiastic. I encountered a Chinese-speaking staff member who was patient, meticulous, and made communication very smooth!

From the Uniqlo exit at Termini Station, turn left and walk about a hundred meters until you reach an intersection, cross the street, and you're there. The guy who helped with luggage storage was very friendly and even helped call a taxi. The street-facing room wasn't noisy at all, and it was very clean. You can see the Great Bath from the room window. Major attractions like the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, and Pantheon are all within a 30-minute walk. A taxi to the Vatican costs about 17 euros.

I stayed for four nights in a king room. This place is comparable to a budget hotel like Hanting Express in China. The price was over 2000 for a free-cancellation booking including breakfast for two. Upon checkout, they charged a city tax of 7.5 per person and tried to charge a 12 Euro service fee per night, which I firmly refused. This was the only hotel out of my dozen-plus nights in Italy that tried to charge a service fee. It's a 5-minute walk from the train station and an 8-minute walk from the M1 metro line. After sunset, the area felt quite unsafe, so be careful of potential snatch-and-grab incidents. The room was very quiet, and the breakfast was decent. The bar staff were enthusiastic and helped us get filtered water every day. Most importantly, I'm incredibly grateful for the Chinese-speaking customer service, Kelly! She helped us a lot. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Rome!

The hotel is really close to Rome's Termini station, just a 5-7 minute walk away. The room wasn't huge, but it was reasonably clean. The city tax in the center was quite high, though. It was super convenient for getting to all the tourist spots. The train station has plenty of shops and a supermarket, which was a plus. I also felt quite safe with the noticeable police presence around.

Being so close to Termini Station was definitely the right choice, especially arriving in Rome in the evening for a self-guided trip. The airport shuttle stops right opposite the hotel entrance. Despite its central location, it wasn't noisy at all; in fact, I found it incredibly convenient for getting around. With a multi-day metro and bus pass, I could explore all of Rome and easily pop back to the hotel for a rest whenever needed. The breakfast was plentiful. While it wasn't a huge spread of meat and heavy dishes, it was healthy and nutritious, offering self-serve fresh squeezed juice, and a good variety of breads and pastries that changed daily. The restaurant staff were also excellent.

The room was clean and tidy; though small, it was perfectly adequate. Breakfast was plentiful, and the service was excellent. Its location directly opposite Termini Station is incredibly convenient for public transport to all the sights, and it felt very safe too.

This was the worst and most unsatisfactory hotel of our entire European trip, and the price wasn't even cheap. We specifically paid extra for a king-size bed, but it felt more like a budget hotel back home. The towels looked old and worn, and they were really stingy with water. In Paris and Switzerland, water was always free and unlimited. This hotel only gave two bottles upon check-in, and then no more, regardless of how many nights you stayed. The breakfast was the exact same every day; no changes over our three-day stay. On the bright side, the taste was decent. They also required a 100-euro deposit upon check-in! They deducted the city tax from it when we checked out. It's quite amusing because none of the other hotels we stayed at in Europe charged a deposit, and there was nothing valuable in the room to warrant one. I really don't understand it. The staff were all quite cold and unapproachable, but perhaps that's just how people are in Rome in general.

24-hour front desk, very close to Termini Station, and super convenient for the airport shuttle bus. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offer a great view, and the environment and facilities are excellent. You can ask the front desk for a toothbrush, but they don't replenish bottled water and coffee if you stay for multiple days.
