"Just an honest review here for future guests. There was one iron (and ironing room) for the whole hotel, you had to get a key from reception to get into the room and you are limited to use it for 30 minutes. Also, the iron was old and not good. I ironed one shirt twice and it was still wrinkled. I was contemplating buying an iron to donate to the hotel for the poor future guests. You cannot use the gym for free- it costs $10€ per session. (The gym looks great though) The cleaners were cleaning the hallway with a loud machine at 10pm at night. The shower is tiny, I could barely turn in there and wash my body. The air conditioner is situated behind the curtains and doesn’t cool the room as a result. Overall, not the best experience for what should be a good stay. Positives: The room was spacious and quite nice. There is a beautiful older Church (1915?) attached to the Hotel which can be accessed. The building and decorating was nice. Some staff were really helpful with requests. The room is about 5/10 minute walk from a convenient train station which goes into the city/tourist attractions. There is a grocery store right next door. The gardens are beautiful."

"The hotel is located in the Prati district. You'll need to travel to reach the main attractions, though you could walk it in about 40 minutes. There are several bus stops nearby, which is convenient. Overall, it's a pleasant neighborhood. The hotel offers good value for money. The room isn't very large, and there are some minor maintenance issues (a hanger fell off, a doorknob was loose) – not critical, but they do leave an impression. The rooms are stylish and kept clean. There's a grocery store right opposite, which is very handy. Breakfast isn't super diverse, but you won't go hungry."

"It was quite a challenging stay. The requests I made in the booking were completely ignored. Upon arrival, we had to change rooms, which seemed to upset the front desk staff quite a bit. A South Asian porter helped us with our luggage. I didn't have any small change, as I mostly pay with cards and rarely use cash, so I only gave him a 2 Euro coin as a tip. From that moment on, whenever he saw us, he showed absolutely no expression. I mean, it's not like I was going to give him a 200 or 500 Euro bill, right? Was it even worth that much? The hotel breakfast was excellent. The room, although not as good as the original one after the change, was still acceptable. The location is fantastic: just a few dozen meters from the train station, and there's an airport shuttle right outside. There are no issues with the location, and the area isn't as chaotic as some say. The only problem is that all the staff had rather cold and indifferent expressions, making you feel, for a moment, like you weren't even in Italy! I won't be staying here again, even with its many advantages. I just don't want to deal with their attitudes!"

"Great hotel. If they hang a few pictures on the wall, it would be a better than average 4 star hotel! Nice clean and almost new looking facility with spacious room, spacious bathroom, comfortable bed, good sized balcony, and great service.! I arrived at noon and was greeted by 5he staff warmly, and told room was not ready, but offered a drink (I took a glass of wine) and a piece of pastry and was informed when room was ready by WhatsApp. Breakfast was pretty good considering that it was included. About 15 min easy walking from Roma Termini. Nothing to complain. Strongly recommended."

"The staff were very friendly. Depending on where your room is, it’s a little confusing to get to as it’s in annex? But it was a good location right next to the station. I did have a small bit of mold in the fridge though. I do wish that the room came with a kettle or something so that you could eat. Other than that it was a private place to stay, small but not uncomfortably small."

"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Corot in Rome. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was brilliant as it is right next to the station made getting around easy and there were plenty of great restaurants just steps away. The rooms are a little dated, but that just added to the charm and character of the place. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the city, and we’d happily stay here again."

"The location is excellent, right in front of the subway exit, and there's a bus stop directly outside (so people tend to gather there). There's a supermarket next door, and most attractions are within walking distance (though it's quite tiring, so cycling is more convenient). It's very easy to get to the Vatican and the Colosseum by subway. The front desk service was fantastic – warm and proactive. Even before checking in early in the morning, they invited us to slow down with a coffee (the best cappuccino I had in Rome!). We left early most days and didn't get to properly sit down for breakfast. On our check-out day, it was also too early for breakfast, but they still provided us with coffee and bread. Luggage storage was very convenient. The room wasn't large, and the air conditioning was just okay. Slippers were provided. The window overlooked an attraction, so it was a bit sunny. There's a cinema next door, which could occasionally be noisy at night, but the door insulation was good, so I couldn't hear any corridor sounds. The shower was incredibly powerful! The water pressure was strong and very comfortable!!! This was absolutely perfect!"

"Our stay at The Independent Hotel in Rome was genuinely impressive. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from Roma Termini, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city, catching trains, or heading to the airport. Despite being close to the station, the surroundings felt safe and well connected to major sights. The service stood out as warm, attentive, and efficient. Staff members were always ready with helpful recommendations and made check-in and check-out smooth and pleasant. The room itself was a highlight: modern, spotless, and exceptionally comfortable. The bed was plush, the amenities thoughtful, and the overall design stylish without feeling overdone. It was a welcoming place to relax after a full day of sightseeing. Overall, The Independent Hotel offers an excellent blend of comfort, convenience, and quality service—an ideal base for enjoying Rome."

"I rarely leave reviews, but this place was genuinely excellent. It felt just like a modern, stylish hotel back home, similar to Atour or All Seasons, with a fresh and youthful design. Breakfast was fantastic – 6 euros for kids and 12 for adults – and much better than what I paid double for in Barcelona. What really impressed me was having a washing machine. Even though there were only a couple and one was out of order, it's such a lifesaver for long trips, making it feel very much like a hotel in China. I was initially worried the room would be too small when I booked, as it was listed at 15 square meters, but it felt more like 20+. We easily fit two large suitcases and three people with plenty of space. I'm extremely satisfied; this was the cheapest yet most satisfying hotel of my entire European trip. I saw a 'money tree' downstairs and initially thought it was a Chinese-invested hotel, haha, but after a friend (Doubao) looked into it, apparently not. The location is unbeatable, with many attractions within walking distance. If I come back, I'd rebook this hotel without hesitation. A big shoutout to Trip.com too – I noticed the price dropped after booking, and they refunded me the difference without me having to rebook, which was a pleasant surprise."

GGuest UserThe room was very spacious and comfortable, and the bedding – sheets, duvet covers, and pillows – was equally pleasant. It's conveniently located very close to the Vatican, with a taxi ride costing only 20 Euros. Each room comes with a balcony, and the air quality was quite good. However, the room temperature wasn't individually adjustable. It was 28°C (82°F) during our summer stay, and it got so hot that we had to wait until after 9 AM the following day for someone from maintenance to adjust it. There's a pool downstairs which seemed quite clean, but access isn't direct; you need to pick up a pass from the front desk first.

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at this hotel and while there were a few positives, the overall experience was disappointing due to a series of overlooked details and frustrating issues. To start with the good—the staff were great: friendly, helpful, and informative. They made an effort to assist whenever asked, and that hospitality was appreciated. The location was decent, about a 30-minute bus ride to the city center. It’s not exactly central, but manageable if you’re okay with the commute. The room was reasonably clean upon arrival, but the quality of housekeeping declined quickly. A lotion stain I accidentally left on the shower floor was never cleaned, and instead of actually scrubbing the area, housekeeping simply placed a mat over it—as if to hide it. Initially, the room came stocked with two sets of towels, but after the first day, only one of each was replaced. While the booking was for one person, maintaining the original quantity would have shown a bit more care and consistency. There were several small inconveniences that added up. For example, the room phone had no directory, so I had no idea how to contact the front desk or reach any services. On top of that, the air conditioning didn’t work for the first two days, which turned out to be because the previous guest had asked for it to be turned off, and it was never reset. It took me that long to realize I had to ask the concierge to enable it again. In a properly managed hotel, the AC should be reset and ready for the next guest without needing to make a request. The continental breakfast was another letdown. The scrambled eggs were dry, lumpy, and had a strange grey tint. The bacon and sausages were cold, and orange juice was served in plastic cups. There was very little fresh fruit, and to top it off, they had a random speaker on the floor playing radio ads during breakfast—a strange and unpleasant ambiance for a morning meal. I’m glad I didn’t pay for breakfast for my entire stay, because it definitely wasn’t worth it. The Wi-Fi was by far the worst I’ve encountered in any hotel. It disconnected constantly and, when connected, barely reached speeds of 5 Mbps. For a hotel in a tourist-heavy area, this is unacceptable and suggests a clear lack of awareness of guest needs—especially for travelers who rely on Wi-Fi to plan outings or stay in touch. Noise was another major issue. The elevator makes a blaring siren-like noise when it opens, which woke me up every single morning. The walls and doors are paper-thin, making it easy to hear people walking or talking outside, and the doors slam shut loudly, adding to the disturbance. Finally, while not the hotel’s fault, there were a few homeless individuals living around the property, which might make some guests feel uneasy, particularly at night. All in all, while the staff were excellent and the location worked, there were just too many frustrating and avoidable issues—poor housekeeping, unusable Wi-Fi, subpar breakfast, noise problems, and a lack of attention to guest experience basics. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless the hotel makes significant improvements across the board.

SSonya_theoneWe've stayed at this hotel twice. The premium room and standard room only differ in size and the presence of a desk. The renovation is brand new, with a fresh and understated design. The elevator operates silently but is slow. The soundproofing between rooms could be better, but if you just need a place to sleep while traveling and want to quickly depart from Termini for other parts of Italy, it's ideal and budget-friendly.

GGuest UserArrived at the hotel past midnight on the first day and was given a noisy room, 402 – remember that number! It felt like I'd walked into a magnetic field. There was a huge boiler right below the room, making noise all night long, so I couldn't sleep at all. The city tax was also super expensive: 6 euros for one person, 12 euros for two. Breakfast wasn't great either; all the dishes were cold, even the eggs. The only upside is its proximity to the central station, about a 15-minute walk.

PPhillipsBenjaminWe stayed here for four nights in June of 2025. The location of the hotel is generally good for getting to some of the more noteworthy site (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.). There's a metro station around 8 minutes walk away, which opens up most of the rest of the city pretty well. We walked from here to the Vatican, which took around 35 minutes, but would be less than half that by cab. The surrounding area is great for clothing shops, but the food we found nearby was mostly so-so, and frequently over-priced tourist fare, though I'm sure if you walk a little farther from the hotel you can find some good options. The room itself was booked for a family of four, and was comfortable. The bathroom and shower had good water pressure, and the AC worked just fine. Some of the sheets were not quite clean, but we just didn't use the one we found slightly dirty. The beds were comfortable and a good size. The room and hotel have little to no facilities, so you're really just paying for room and the location. The exterior entrance is not well marked, and we actually walked past it on the street several times. If you're thinking of booking here, I'd recommend just looking for the GAP store which is directly across the street, much easier to find. Our interactions with the hotel staff were limited. We received a number of automated messages, some of which were contradictory, or had out of date information. After booking and paying for the room (a non-refundable booking) we were told there was an extra ”city tax” not included which would need to be paid before checking in which amounted to around an extra $90 or so, and the offered price of an airport transfer service went up as soon as we requested it (from 85 euros to 95). The hotel arranged the transfer service for us, but the driver left the airport before we could get out of the passport control due to another booking. The driver service showed up at the hotel at the time the flight was supposed to arrive, even though the flight was late, and you'd expect them to know that going through passport control takes easily an hour, so this seems to be quite poor planning on behalf of either the hotel or the service. We ended up taking a taxi from the airport which was also slightly over half the price of the transfer service, so I'd recommend skipping their service, it seems like a rip-off. Taxis from the airport to the city center seem to be subsidized by the government, and were a fixed price of 55 euros (for a normal size car big enough for 4 people) at the time we visited. The train from the airport is also not a bad idea if you're comfortable using the metro, as the train station is just 3-4 metro stops from the nearest metro station to the hotel (Spagna). Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but felt like we mostly paid for the location.

Well, the village provides really clean and private houses for very affordable price. ***For everyone thinking about staying here, please mind that this place is very very far from the city, 2 bus line come & go to the city and if you miss one in the morning it has gap of 1 hour so might take so long for the next one.

AavecchieFor Rome prices, it's not bad. However, the self check-in process was a bit convoluted for the initial entry (though once you get the keys from the room, opening the main building door and the condo entrance is easy). The bathroom had a shower with mold, and very little water came out of the showerhead, which was completely encrusted. Even after trying to clean it, not much water came out. For the price, it's not terrible though.

GGuest UserI booked with Reali Hotel Archimede, but when I wanted to check-in, the receptionist told me my booking wasn't registered/found in their system. Which they then offer me to another hotel where it is located behide of the Raeli Hotel, which is called HOTEL LUXE. Quite disappointed as this shouldn't happen to any customer. The room wasn't come with any free water bottle, coffee or tea and kettle. However, you can grab the hot water at the lobby near breakfast room area. The location wise to Roma Termini is just 4-5 mins walk which is quite good at this point if traveler is to rush to catch on any early train/metro. One point to note: every time when you're going out, the room key has to pass to the receptionist and collect back from them again when u're back each time.
