"The bathroom smelled bad, the toilet seat was crooked, there was hair on the floor, and there was no hand soap. I had to ask the front desk before they brought me a small bar of soap that was probably expired, and it shattered into several pieces when I opened it. The kettle was rusty, and the power cord was exposed, posing a clear safety hazard; I didn't dare use it. The building opposite the window had its decorative lights on all night, making for a very poor sleep experience. For over 400 yuan a night with these conditions, it's incredibly poor customer service! I don't know how Ctrip (the travel agency) collaborates with them!"

"This Atour hotel is in a great location, with 10 supercharging stations right downstairs. The rooms are spacious, perfect for two adults and two children to relax comfortably. The breakfast is also delicious, and you can even take coffee to go. The staff's service attitude is excellent. This stay was a convenient stopover during our trip, and we accumulated quite a bit of laundry. I was extremely satisfied with Atour's self-service laundry facilities. Usually, after pressing the washing machine's start button, I'd immediately set a phone alarm to remind me to retrieve the clothes and then put them in the dryer. However, because I was a few minutes late checking my itinerary, a hotel staff auntie had already transferred my clothes to the dryer for me. I quickly expressed my gratitude. Later, when I went to do laundry at midnight, I set an alarm to come down and switch to the dryer, and another staff member, a young lady, had already put my clothes in the dryer. She even proactively told me to leave my room number on a note, and once the laundry was done, it could be delivered to my room, so I could just go back to sleep. This was such a blessing for me, and I'm truly very grateful!"

The front desk staff was incredibly helpful; they even gave me directions to LiuXing Street. It's about a 20-minute walk to the west entrance of LiuXing Street, and there are tons of street food stalls along the way. Fantastic!"

"I had a memorable stay at this hostel. This offers both hostel rooms and tents. I stayed in a tent and it was a very unique, fun experience with a very comfortable bed. The manager is very kind, he speaks English very well, and he is happy to greet guests, give them advice about the city, and take them wherever they need to go. The other staff are also helpful, warm, and friendly. The atmosphere of the hotel is great and social. All the people there come in with a very good attitude. The boss talks a lot about the history and culture of the place and his people, which was fascinating. I would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a unique and welcoming stay in Yining."

The rooms are exceptionally clean and cozy, and disposable toiletries are provided – a thoughtful touch. They contact you beforehand and then pick you up from the visitor center; the overall service was excellent! I was contacted by Xiaona, a lovely and attentive young woman, and the owner was also very welcoming. I'll definitely stay here again!"

"The hygiene was terrible. There were many marks on the walls and in the shower. The toilet was inside the shower, with no separate wet and dry area. The smart toilet was broken, constantly flushing and making a lot of noise; it took several presses to stop. The showerhead was also broken, leaking and not dispensing water. I ended up having to use the overhead shower head, which had to run for a long time before the hot water was hot enough. The smart buttons were useless; the curtains didn't work. The internet was terrible; ordering takeout wouldn't even refresh, and loading images on video apps took forever. The sheets and blankets had holes, and the towels were made of non-absorbent material. The platform said it was newly renovated in 2025, but the facilities and amenities were quite old. The app listed it as a 4-star hotel, and while there were rooms with breakfast, the restaurant didn't provide it. The value for money was very low; hotels at the same price point offer much better rooms and amenities. The only good thing was that the washing machine and dryer worked well, but the laundry room didn't provide toiletries."

Our family of six stayed in a three-bedroom suite, which was very comfortable and kept spotlessly clean. We stayed for three nights straight. On our check-in day, our flight was delayed, and we didn't arrive until after 2 AM, but the front desk lady was still incredibly welcoming and helped us get settled into our room. The male staff members on the following days were also very friendly and polite. My family all agreed it was a fantastic stay. P.S.: The Gulandam ice cream at the hotel is absolutely delicious! We had it every single day and I still miss it now."
