"The room was surprisingly good, and my whole family loved it. The front desk staff was warm and attentive. The young man who helped us was also excellent—quiet but very handsome! He patiently guided us through check-in, helped with our luggage, and even told us which floor the parking was on and where the 'L' level was, which was super convenient for food deliveries. The beach was just a few minutes' walk away, and the complex itself was lovely with great privacy. They even covered our parking fees. I'd feel bad not giving them a five-star rating! Huge thanks for the care and daily housekeeping during our stay. All in all, fantastic value for money and a great experience. Seriously, for this price on a vacation, what more could you ask for?"

"Absolutely terrible. The mattress was utterly disgusting; I wouldn't have even known there was vomit on it if I hadn't been looking for something. The ground floor is a seafood restaurant, and the hallway upstairs reeked of cooking fumes. The staff actually tried to tell me it was guests cooking in their rooms – cooking until the early hours, I suppose? This entire area consists of self-built houses. While it's close to the beach, the smell of fish and cooking oil is very strong. If you like peace and quiet, steer clear. The beach quality isn't great either. From Haikou to Sanya, this is by far the worst hotel I've stayed in. Other places might be overpriced, but at least the quality is there. This is completely unacceptable. Just thinking about that mattress makes me sick. It usually costs around 200, but they hiked the price to 890, caring only about profit and not quality. If the environment and hygiene were even halfway decent, it might be forgivable, but this is what I got. The only positive thing was the staff; besides that, there's really nothing good to say."

Takeout and deliveries are proactively brought to the door, and they even thoughtfully provide mosquito repellent, help book seafood processing, and plan beachcombing routes – you don't have to worry about a thing! The beach is just a 3-minute walk away, so falling asleep to the sound of the waves at night is a must-do! A perfect 10/10 recommendation!"

"Stayed for a week during the National Day holiday, and it was a fantastic experience. Even though it was busy, the butlers went above and beyond to take care of us, helping with food deliveries and trips to the beach. We had a very comfortable holiday. "Came here for a wedding, and the experience was fantastic. Welcome fruit: The fruit was very fresh. My parents didn't realize it was only for the first night, but when they called room service the next day, they still sent another platter. Complimentary mini-bar: The drinks in the fridge were also free, which was a nice touch. Facilities: Although the hotel is a bit older, all the facilities are well-maintained. Overall, it's still clean, hygienic, comfortable, and elegant. Service: From the concierge to room service, all the staff were smiling and incredibly accommodating. Even when I called the front desk late at night, they patiently resolved my issues."

"This was my first time in Lingshui, and staying at this hotel was an excellent experience. The hotel room facilities were fantastic. The room was equipped with Marriott Group's signature 'Heavenly Bed' mattress, which had the perfect balance of softness and firmness – I fell asleep the moment I lay down. The soundproofing in the room was excellent; I slept wonderfully all night. The air conditioning was also very comfortable, running quietly at a constant 24°C. The bedside table had a Bluetooth speaker, a small alarm clock, and integrated USB charging ports, so I could easily charge my phone and iPad without having to search for outlets. The blackout curtains were also great! I wasn't woken up by the sun in the morning, which was perfect for a late sleeper like me. The toiletries were Marriott's famous white tea scent, subtle and lovely. The butler even thoughtfully prepared body lotion. The bath towels and robes were made of very soft fabric – I want to find the same kind! Hot water came on in seconds. The furniture in the room also felt high quality; the desk was marble, and the chaise lounge was comfortable even for extended sitting. The TV screen was quite large with clear picture quality. The Wi-Fi speed was fast, and I had no lag while gaming – an amazing experience! The lobby was spacious and bright, and the sofas in the lounge area were plush. The elevators were fast, played soft music, and were clean inside – going up and down was completely hassle-free. The hotel signage was very clear. The lighting in the public areas at night was bright, and there were cameras at every corner, making me feel very safe returning to my room at night. The guest room doors had electronic locks and automatically locked when closed, which was very reassuring. I could also borrow umbrellas and a garment steamer from the closet, which was very convenient. The butler had even prepared a baby cot, children's toiletries, and non-slip slippers beforehand – the butler was truly meticulous. I hadn't expected much from a hotel at this price point, but the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. The only regret was that the hotel's swimming pool was undergoing maintenance, but the hotel thoughtfully arranged a shuttle service to a neighboring hotel to use their pool. Let's talk about the breakfast restaurant: It was located next to the pool, with a clean and open space. The tables were generously spaced, not crowded. The indoor lighting was warm, soft, and comfortable. Window seats offered direct views of the garden and sea, and enjoying breakfast with the sea breeze created a wonderful atmosphere. Relaxing light music played continuously, making for a tranquil and uncrowded dining environment. The buffet breakfast offered a rich variety of options, including Chinese and Western dishes, and Hainan specialties like Lingshui sour noodles – everything was available. The food stations and utensils were spotless. And let's talk about the hygiene in the public areas and guest rooms: there was no dust or water stains in corners or crevices. The bathrooms and dining areas were clean and tidy. The overall environment was spotless; the hygiene standards were excellent! 👍👍. Among high-end sea view resorts, this hotel offers exceptional value for money. The facilities, service, and hardware far surpassed what I expected for the price. The stay was truly worth every penny! The transportation was convenient. The hotel is located in the Clear Water Bay Resort area, next to a golf course. There are shops within the hotel, and a large farmers market nearby. By car, you can reach Nanwan Monkey Island and Daidai Island, making it very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. Now, about the service: I had seen some online comments suggesting the hotel's service wasn't great, but after staying there, I can honestly say the service was excellent! There were bellhops at the entrance to help with luggage. The young man at the front desk who handled check-in was also very helpful, quickly arranging a great room and proactively introducing the hotel's facilities. The concierge who brought my luggage to the room also provided information about the hotel's surroundings. And let me tell you about my butler, Miss Kelly – her service was truly outstanding! Knowing I was traveling alone with two young children, she was incredibly thoughtful, preparing the room and special small gifts for the kids. She even helped arrange a late checkout. She meticulously considered so many things for me. I highly recommend her!!! I hope she's still there when I come back next year, haha. I will definitely stay at this hotel again next time I visit Lingshui."

"Escaped the Mandarin Oriental last night and checked into the Capella. Even the standard room I booked here is quite spacious. Alexander, our Culture & Travel ambassador, provided attentive service right from check-in, making us feel completely at home. The hotel's Thai restaurant is also delicious 😋. I'll definitely be bringing my family back next time!"
Hainan Sangem Moon Hotel
"Facilities: This time we stayed in the parent-child building at Sanzhengyue, and the room type was absolutely perfect! My daughter loved it so much. The pink theme was super cute and cartoonish; I don't think any child could resist a bunk bed and a slide! Hygiene: The hotel's overall hygiene was very good, and the linens were all clean and tidy. Since the parent-child rooms are carpeted, there might occasionally be some small spots (from previous guests spilling things), but I found this acceptable. Environment: The hotel's overall environment is quite good, with all the necessary amenities. Before coming, I had checked on Xiaohongshu and was worried about encountering gnats with a child, but I stayed for two nights and didn't see any, either in the room or outdoors. My daughter spent a long time at the water park! Service: When it comes to service, there are truly no words – haha, it's really that good! The butler added me on WeChat before check-in to inform me about hotel activities and useful tips. During our stay, they were incredibly responsive, replying quickly even when busy. When the TV wasn't working, they even arranged a room change for us (P.S., I hadn't even noticed the TV issue myself; they proactively told me!), and they gave us a little surprise. A big shout-out to Tiffany Tian Tian – she was just amazing! Summary: Overall, this stay was truly satisfying! 🫰🏻"

"Our stay at Raffles Clearwater Bay was made truly special by Manager Darryl. He helped us secure a beautiful villa, perfectly private and quiet, with a lovely little garden right outside – it really felt like a true getaway. On checkout day, we had an urgent matter, and he quickly processed everything for us, saving us valuable time. He was incredibly responsive throughout our stay, ensuring my whole family was comfortable. Next time we're in Sanya, we'll definitely choose Raffles Clearwater Bay again, and we'll certainly be looking for Darryl!"
Vaperse Hainan Clear Water Bay
"The breakfast was a chaotic mess. It was overcrowded and disorganized, and the food wasn't good at all. My child ended up just having porridge because there was nothing else appealing. There clearly weren't enough staff, and you had to scramble for a seat. Anyone could access the elevators without a key card, which felt very unsafe. The cleanliness was just okay, but the bed was quite comfortable – I slept well during my stay. The staff members were also polite. Aside from the extremely chaotic and unappetizing breakfast, I didn't try the other family activities so I can't comment on them. We really just needed a slightly better hotel for a two-night stopover."

"I was very satisfied with housekeeper Ivy's service! From syncing information before check-in to responding to various requests during our stay, she was incredibly thoughtful throughout. Since we drove, she registered our license plate in advance, which saved us a lot of hassle. She was also quick to respond to and resolve minor room issues and questions about dining and the amusement park. Before check-out, we had to adjust our luggage storage time last minute, and she coordinated everything perfectly so it didn't delay our plans. She even followed up on the invoice after check-out and proactively kept us updated on its progress. 🙂🙂"

So I went up to my room. To my surprise, after fixing the machine, the front desk attendant personally brought two cups of coffee up to our room! I was incredibly touched.
