"My ideal hotel: 1. **Smooth Communication**: Pele (the staff member) understood guests well; communication was perfectly fine. 2. **Comfortable Hardware**: Comfy bedding, a spacious bathroom, double sinks... The rooms, starting at 88 square meters, speak for themselves. The privacy design is excellent, and while the garden views aren't stunning, they're perfectly adequate. 3. **Rich and Delicious Breakfast**: Having experienced a breakfast with 7 different egg options, it would take a truly exceptional hotel to rival it... Absolutely fantastic! And they don't stop serving until 11 AM, even at 11:30 AM, there's still food available, which is really great. 👍👍 Of course, there's always room for improvement in the details of management: 1. **Bathroom Trash Can**: The trash can in the bathroom was a bit low-end – a stainless steel flip-top. It looked plain and ugly, and the flip-top made it hard to throw garbage in. 2. **Lack of Assistance**: The 'butler' who escorted us to our room didn't offer to help with our belongings (takeaway food) at all. The room introduction was also very perfunctory (perhaps because I'm an overweight mom with an underage child, looking like country bumpkins in the city, so there wasn't much joy in communication for them). 3. **Billiards Chaos**: Billiards required a reservation (for a billiard competition), but there was no one on-site to organize it. We waited as per our reserved time, but other guests were using the table, and we were told to communicate with them ourselves... Despite these minor flaws, the positives outweigh the negatives. I'll definitely go back next time I don't have the kids with me. Let the kids take their girlfriends there themselves in the future!"

"This was the best hotel we stayed at during our Hainan trip this summer! The family suite at Lanhaiju was perfectly situated with a direct view of the Freedom Lighthouse! I had thought it was a pure garden view room, so I was thrilled to see the lighthouse in the distance as soon as I entered. Not only the room view, but all areas of the hotel are fantastic backdrops for photos! Access to the hotel grounds and beach requires a booking confirmation or room key card, indicating very strict management. The breakfast was excellent, no complaints there. We found different delicious options each of the three mornings, and the à la carte menu also varied daily. The dinner beach BBQ buffet, with its setting at the filming location of 'Lost in the Stars' and the lighthouse, offered an amazing ambiance. My only suggestion would be to increase the variety of dishes. Stepping out the back door of the hotel leads directly to a private, quiet, and clean beach with fine sand and a gentle slope. If it weren't so hot, I could have easily spent the whole day just relaxing there! During our stay, our dedicated butler Chloe was incredibly responsive to our needs every day, almost instantly replying whether it was day or night. She worked very hard! Three days just wasn't enough; we'll definitely be back next summer!"

"We were very well taken care of during our four-day stay at Kimpton. Our butler, Sarah, was incredibly responsive to all our requests. When a sudden downpour on the beach made it impossible to return to our room, Sarah immediately arranged for concierge to pick us up. The fact that breakfast is served until noon is perfect for a relaxing vacation. Our group, which included both seniors and young children, had an absolutely wonderful time."

"Our stay here was absolutely fantastic, especially for a family vacation with kids. The hotel offers an incredible array of facilities, including multiple swimming pools and a fun outdoor water park that kept the children thoroughly entertained. Having a private beach right outside was a huge plus – the sand was soft, perfect for walks or building sandcastles. The hotel also organized a wide variety of kids' activities, so there was always something for the little ones to do, keeping boredom at bay all day long. The grounds are beautiful, and all facilities are well-maintained, contributing to a clean and comfortable environment. The staff were warm and attentive. It was a one-stop shop for eating, sleeping, and playing, meaning we didn't have to venture out, allowing the adults to truly relax. This is definitely a top choice for family travel; the overall experience was excellent, and we'd love to come back again."

"Our family trip with kids was amazing in the park view twin room! The room offered an excellent view, allowing us to enjoy the spectacular fireworks and drone show right from the fireworks viewing platform. Our butler, Xiao Zou, provided thoughtful and attentive service, responding promptly to all our requests and arranging everything perfectly. He contacted us in advance about our arrival time and kept track of room availability, so we had a room ready immediately after check-in. He also went above and beyond to handle special requests. We spent three days and two nights exploring Ocean Kingdom, and even got to experience the Miyazaki-themed train. The facilities were complete and clean, the environment was beautiful, and the overall experience was fantastic. It's truly ideal for family trips with children, and we'll definitely choose to stay here again next time! Everything was perfectly arranged!"

"My overall experience during this stay was great! The room was spotless, with hardly any insects. We were later upgraded to a sea-view room directly facing the ocean, and the view was absolutely stunning. The soundproofing was also good, allowing for a very comfortable rest. The hotel breakfast has two areas, and the restaurant on the left offers a wider variety of options. I highly recommend the freshly baked waffles. It’s best to go early for breakfast, as it gets very crowded during the 9-10 AM peak. The water park and indoor playground are a lot of fun and provide enough entertainment for most of the day. The beach downstairs has fine, clean sand, but the waves are quite strong, and there are no lifeguards, so swimming is not allowed. The minibar was refilled daily. Special shout-out to the concierge – I forgot their name, but their service was excellent. All our requests were handled properly, making for a very pleasant stay."

"We stayed at the Yulan Pool Villa for two nights and had a great experience. It's an independent villa with a serene environment, a very large private pool, and lush greenery. Environment: The hotel has direct access to the beach. When the weather is good, the sea is crystal clear, and it’s wonderful to have the beach exclusively for guests. Facilities: The infinity pool area is very picturesque, facing directly onto the sea. The kids' playground is also decent. The gym is a bit small. Service: Overall, the staff were very enthusiastic. The shuttle bus was quick, and they even delivered takeout directly to our room. Dining: The breakfast selection was rich and tasty, and we also received a complimentary set meal. One delightful surprise was that the hotel has many free-roaming bunnies – they're so cute! Too bad they’re too agile to catch, hahaha~ The hotel is quite secluded, with almost no shops nearby, so I recommend bringing plenty of snacks if you plan to stay in and relax at the hotel. It’s still a great spot~"

"Facilities: One of the reasons I chose Indigo was because it's a new hotel with a stylish and artistic decor. Plus, the pool has a lazy river and a water play area, which is really fun and perfect for kids! It turned out to be an excellent choice, even better than I expected. Both the adults and kids had a fantastic time, and it truly felt like a vacation. Cleanliness: The hotel was very clean, both in the public areas and the guest rooms. The entire hotel had a pleasant fragrance, which I loved. Housekeeping was also very prompt. Service: Before my trip, I often saw complaints on Xiaohongshu about Indigo's service being poor. However, our actual experience was quite good. Every staff member we encountered was lovely; they always greeted us kindly. A staff member contacted me the day before check-in to ask about our estimated arrival time. We wanted to arrive before a typhoon hit, so we got there a little before noon and were able to check in smoothly. Our room was already ready. Danny was very responsive and helpful via WeChat. On our last day, they even tried to help us request a late check-out. There was turn-down service every night, which was a thoughtful touch. The day before check-out, they even brought us some delicious mini cakes. Food: Breakfast ends at 11 AM, which is perfect for us late risers, and it was genuinely delicious! There were many Hainanese specialties, and they even had fried ice cream at breakfast, which my daughter absolutely loved. We all enjoyed our breakfast every day. Overall, we absolutely loved this hotel. Having visited Sanya several times, this is definitely my favorite. If I come back, I'd most likely choose to stay here again!"

"This stay far exceeded my expectations! The sea view was absolutely stunning, and the room was spotlessly clean. The Heavenly Bed mattress was just the right firmness, and the air conditioning was quiet and cooled quickly. The bedside clock radio/speaker and USB charging ports were very practical. The blackout curtains, the wet/dry separated bathroom, stable hot water pressure, and the pleasantly scented toiletries were all great. The furniture felt high-quality, and the Wi-Fi speed was excellent. Plus, they offered free garment steamer and baby item rentals – such thoughtful details. The public areas were fantastic too: the lobby was spacious and comfortable, the elevators were fast and clean, signage was clear, and security was top-notch. Parking was convenient. The breakfast restaurant was clean and uncrowded, with window seats offering sea views, creating a relaxed dining atmosphere. The infinity pool was perfect for photos, and the gym had a good range of well-maintained equipment. Our concierge, Kelly, was responsive and efficient in resolving any issues. The location was also convenient for getting around, not far from Monkey Island and the commercial district. Overall, the value for money was outstanding, and I would definitely choose to stay here again!"

"There was practically no service. The staff were so busy they barely had time to listen to you. I had to ask several times for toiletries for my child before they were sent. Laundry costs extra, and the room only comes with two bottles of water. You have to ask the staff for more once you've finished those. There were no fruits or anything, and the fridge was completely empty. I have no idea where the 'welcome fruits' mentioned in other reviews came from. There were no disposable toilet seat covers either. In short, there were zero extra amenities in the room. It felt so stingy. It's an older hotel, so the facilities are dated, but I thought the service would make up for it. However, the service was also lacking. The activities offered by the hotel were quite dull and lacked atmosphere. The location is remote, making it inconvenient to get anywhere, especially for guests without a car. Taking a taxi to nearby places would cost at least 100 RMB daily. A round trip to Boundary Island would be around 250-260 RMB by taxi, and a round trip to Xincun Night Market would be about 100 RMB. I'd advise families traveling without a car to avoid such a remote location. If the service were excellent despite the remote location, it might be acceptable, but that wasn't the case. For a hotel costing over 1000 RMB, I'd say the hotel environment accounts for 1000 RMB, and the breakfast was a bonus. All in all, I won't be coming back."
