"Staying at Capella Sanya again certainly confirmed those familiar sentiments: once you've experienced Capella, other hotels just don't quite measure up. Even after staying at over a hundred five-star hotels, and thirty in Hainan, I still feel Capella offers the best stay. A special thank you to Chris, the cultural and tourism officer, and the travel photography team. Improvements from our last visit: 1. Travel photography is now available, and the resulting photos are excellent. 2. The tennis court is now free and has no time limit. They even provide children's rackets, iced water, and iced towels – the attention to detail is superb. 3. Provided a dedicated car service to the station, greatly facilitating our journey to the next destination. 4. Used the gazebo for the first time. Especially after a fall that left me covered in sand, the gazebo's washing facilities were incredibly convenient. 5. Received complimentary champagne, making our 10th wedding anniversary feel truly special. 6. Had a dedicated discussion with the hotel management, which significantly deepened my understanding of the brand, making the stay experience more profound than superficial. 7. My child had the opportunity to play the piano and also saw the stunning high-altitude sea view of Tufu Bay, which is just as beautiful as Haitang Bay. 8. Experienced making my own cocktail at breakfast, something absolutely unheard of at other hotels, and it made up for a previous missed opportunity. 9. Children aren't allowed in the spa, but they can be looked after, which gave us great peace of mind. 10. The evening ceremony clashed with the crab-catching activity, but Chris, the cultural and tourism officer, took our child to catch crabs, allowing us to attend the evening ceremony without worry. This deserves high praise! 11. Received a full family souvenir gift. Every member was considered; in the past, souvenirs were only given to one person, but this time all three of us received one, which was a pleasant surprise. 12. The staff's service attitude has improved. The shuttle driver even came to our room door to pick us up, the pool lifeguard proactively called a car for us, and the manager conversed with us while kneeling the whole time. When we left, the car had driven quite a distance, but they were still waving goodbye. 13. There was an error in our booking, only reserving breakfast for one person, but the hotel provided a complimentary breakfast for the other person. Otherwise, the cost for an extra breakfast isn't low. A few points that weren't as good: 1. The explanation for the evening ceremony was unpracticed, the process was chaotic, and the sense of occasion was diminished. 2. Several communications happened during meal times, affecting our afternoon tea and breakfast experience. 3. There were some issues with the room's TV and electric curtain buttons. 4. The hotel activity schedule was less entertaining; the activities weren't as fun as before. Chris, the cultural and tourism officer, and his team provided a lot of information and suggestions. They truly consider the guests, making us feel at home. Only at Capella can you experience genuine butler service."

"Clearwater Bay is one of the few clean and pristine beaches near Sanya these days, and we once again chose the Raffles Hotel. Before we even checked in, the hotel arranged for our butler, Wendy, to contact us. Her ”welcome home” greeting immediately made us feel at ease. Although the hotel was fully booked this time and we didn't get an upgrade, the room size was ample and the layout sensible. Despite its age, the quality of the furnishings was good, and details like the air conditioning and blackout curtains were well-thought-out. The breakfast quality was excellent, standing out among Sanya's top luxury resorts. The beach was flat and clean, free from bothersome hawkers, and the water was crystal clear, giving it a 'glassy sea' appearance that far surpasses Haitang Bay. The hotel's photography team is professional and highly recommended. Furthermore, all drinking water has been switched to Elix, showing their commitment to environmental protection, even at a cost. We hope to see continuous improvements on our next visit."

"Our first stop for my birthday trip was the Kimpton Lingshui. I had emailed them in advance to let them know it was my birthday on the day of check-in, so the hotel specially arranged glass painting and a birthday cake (which was delicious!). The hotel proactively contacted us the day before check-in (in fact, they had contacted us several times between booking and check-in, but my Unicom service blocked all the calls 🥲). Both the public areas and the room's hardware and soft furnishings were incredibly stunning, with amazing attention to detail. The abundance of non-standardized furniture really appealed to me; it felt more like a seaside art gallery. We stayed for two nights, and the breakfast was semi-buffet style. The menu changed daily, which was a nice touch. While a few dishes were just average, the variety was quite rich, which made up for it. The hotel has its own e-sports center, designed in a very interesting way, especially the hidden entrance to the e-sports center! Playing e-sports at a resort hotel is a rare and unique experience, I loved it! The guest room was equipped with a Marshall speaker, Maison 21G toiletries, and a Dyson hairdryer, and even a yoga mat 🤣. The bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. I didn't make any requests about the room view beforehand, but we ended up getting a sea-view room like a blind box reveal! 🥳 This was truly healing for both of us, as I had suddenly fallen ill before coming to Lingshui and couldn't participate in most of the hotel activities. The hotel seems to have an American style as its main theme; you often see staff zipping around on balance bikes delivering things, which is quite interesting! 😆 I want to give a special shout-out to our butler, Sarah ♥️♥️♥️. She was incredibly thoughtful and responsive, always fulfilling our requests with very fast reply speeds and highly efficient problem-solving! On our last night, I went to the e-sports center and left behind a hairpin (I didn't even realize it myself). When I returned to the room, I found Sarah had messaged me about it. It was already late and past her working hours, but she was still working overtime to follow up on this matter, which made me feel a bit embarrassed 🥹. Due to time constraints, I had to leave for our next destination before I could meet little Seven 😢😢. This stay experience definitely gets a big thumbs up! I'll be back for a second visit!"

"Choosing the Sanyuezheng Hotel in Hainan was definitely a great decision! The hotel environment is clean and comfortable, with complete facilities, and the staff are very friendly. We felt relaxed and at ease during our stay. We also tried the Mulan Travel Photography service at the hotel, and the photographer really understood the beach vibe. The locations chosen were stunning, and they were so gentle during the shoot, making us feel completely comfortable. Whether by the sea or in the coconut groves, every shot turned out amazing, and we didn't have to run around looking for good spots. With accommodation and photography all taken care of in one place, it's excellent value for money. If you're coming to Hainan for a holiday, I highly recommend it!"

"Our family trip with kids was amazing in the park view twin room! The room offered an excellent view, allowing us to enjoy the spectacular fireworks and drone show right from the fireworks viewing platform. Our butler, Xiao Zou, provided thoughtful and attentive service, responding promptly to all our requests and arranging everything perfectly. He contacted us in advance about our arrival time and kept track of room availability, so we had a room ready immediately after check-in. He also went above and beyond to handle special requests. We spent three days and two nights exploring Ocean Kingdom, and even got to experience the Miyazaki-themed train. The facilities were complete and clean, the environment was beautiful, and the overall experience was fantastic. It's truly ideal for family trips with children, and we'll definitely choose to stay here again next time! Everything was perfectly arranged!"

"This was the worst value-for-money hotel on our Sanya-Haikou-Wanning-Lingshui trip. The room cost over 2,000 yuan, but it felt like it was only worth 700-800 yuan. We didn't get our room until 4:30 PM, and a whole crowd of people were waiting impatiently. They offered afternoon tea, which consisted of only a few cakes (some even seemed moldy), stale fruit, and three drinks (two of which were not fresh squeezed juice). The water park was tiny and couldn't compare to Atlantis. The indoor kids' playground was large but lacked interesting facilities and some were a bit old. The hotel is divided into East and West Wings. The sky pool and water world are on the West Wing, but we were assigned to the East Wing. Due to the hotel's design, it was a very long walk to get anywhere. The breakfast selection was decent, nothing special. As for service, there was generally no proactive service, but they did fulfill guests' requests. Overall, it doesn't have the standard of a star-rated hotel; it's more like a slightly larger guesthouse. It's miles away from Atlantis. I definitely won't be coming back. I didn't attach photos because the experience was so bad I didn't even feel like taking any. Oh, and the complimentary photo shoot we were offered didn't happen due to bad weather, and the hotel showed no intention of offering any compensation. I usually don't bother leaving reviews unless I'm extremely satisfied or extremely disappointed."

"I highly recommend Narada Resort & Spa Perfume Bay! The entire resort is made up of individual villas, surrounded by coconut groves, offering excellent privacy. The private beach isn't crowded, and the 88-meter infinity pool creates a fantastic atmosphere. The shuttle service is available on call, making for a very comfortable stay. The travel photographer was great at capturing angles and giving natural posing guidance. The photos from the pool and beach scenes turned out amazing, perfectly capturing all the beautiful moments of a seaside vacation. It's definitely worth another visit!"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Staying here with kids was a breeze! They had children's amenities ready for us upon arrival, and sand toys were available for free. The kids' club areas are well-designed, there are daily parent-child craft activities, and the shallow pool and lazy river are perfect for little ones to splash around in. A fine sandy beach is within walking distance, and breakfast is served until noon with a wide variety of dishes that cater to children's tastes. Overall, it's incredibly relaxing – ideal for a family vacation."

"The basic room type is very spacious and bright, and the bedding is very comfortable. What I didn't like about the twin room was the separate single vanity, which isn't as convenient as the integrated double vanity in the king room. Also, it's best not to look too closely at the drain, as that was the only place I felt was unsanitary. Apart from that, the hotel facilities are excellent, with kayaking, a large swimming pool, and slides. You also get a free coconut or ice cream, but I suggest the hotel be more generous and offer one per person checking in. The hotel's Chinese restaurant has a nice ambiance, and the set meals offer great value for money with generous portions. For kids who don't eat spicy food, they can even prepare non-spicy dishes and swap out vegetables for ones they prefer."

"This hotel is perfect for families traveling with older kids who plan to drive and participate in activities like surfing, off-roading, and fruit picking in Lingshui. The hotel's pool is big enough for the kids to splash around after a long day. Plus, the underwater scooters here are cheaper than those at resorts in Yalong Bay and Haitang Bay. The breakfast offers great value for money, and you can tell the chef puts a lot of effort into it, with some unique options. Of course, when you're looking for value, you don't expect meticulous service. During my stay, it happened to be my birthday. I hesitated for a while about whether to stay here on my birthday, thinking that at this price point, there wouldn't be any birthday surprises. Since I couldn't change hotels, I figured I'd just deal with it and make up for it by going to Haitang Bay the next day. And sure enough, I wasn't disappointed – there was no surprise, haha! But honestly, the value for money is excellent. Birthday surprises and little touches like farewell gifts at checkout aren't necessary. I still recommend it! :)"
