"Staying at the清水湾威珀斯酒店 (Clearwater Bay Weipers Hotel), I found the service to be generally good. Checking out was hassle-free; I just handed in my room card and was free to go, no queues needed. The hotel boasts an incredibly large and beautiful wedding lawn right behind it. It's clear they put a lot of effort into the landscaping, with palm trees, banana plants, and a variety of tropical flowers and greenery everywhere. The pathways are spotless, and the gardens are well-designed and spacious, so you're surrounded by lush greenery as you walk through. Compared to other resorts I've visited, the garden area here feels very open and uncrowded, with wide paths and an impressive architectural layout. From my room, it was just a short walk to the seaside lawn and the white wedding chapel, and the beach was also very close by. It's perfect whether you want to take a leisurely stroll and snap some photos, or wander around with your family. I imagine a wedding held here would be incredibly romantic."

"I checked in with high expectations, paying nearly 2,000 yuan a night, but the overall experience was terrible and the value for money was severely lacking. First, they showed clear double standards and differentiated treatment towards guests who booked through different channels. My friend and I booked rooms through different channels, and the difference in treatment was stark. When I, who booked directly with the hotel, checked in, multiple reasonable requests were rejected by the front desk. I wanted to add the exclusive butler's WeChat for daily communication but was only allowed to add the official corporate WeChat. However, after my friend, who booked through Ctrip, checked in, they made up for it by adding the butler's private WeChat. After checking in, we also discovered that only one out of the three rooms received welcome fruit. Second, service efficiency was low, and things were handled sluggishly. When we processed the room change to a room adjacent to my friend's, the staff did not update the key card information simultaneously. My child, after swimming, was wet and cold and had to wait in the hallway for the staff to deliver the new key card. After a full 20 minutes, no one delivered it, so I had no choice but for an adult to go back to the front desk alone to get a new key card. Third, the children's play area lacked safety protection and had major safety hazards. Although the children's playground is suitable for young children, the basic safety protection measures were severely inadequate. The climbing area had prominent hidden dangers; my child's leg scraped a sharp rock point on the wall when landing and got injured. Initially, I blamed myself for being negligent and didn't think of finding the staff again. Under my friend's concern, I found a staff member to ask for some iodophor cotton swabs to treat the wound myself. After hearing about it, the staff only asked for the room number, and there was no follow-up inquiry or visit afterward. There was zero concern throughout, and the service was very cold."

"Before check-in, a butler was already waiting to greet us. The room was spacious and the hygiene was impeccable, not to mention they proactively offered us two complimentary breakfasts. The main reason I'm writing this positive review is that at 2 AM, when I wanted to light mosquito coils but didn't have a lighter, the butler brought one to my room within ten minutes. This service is truly outstanding, making me feel that the money spent was absolutely worth it. Finally, when we left some clothes behind, they provided the quickest solution to get them back to us. 🥹💋"

"We stayed at Kimpton Clear Water Bay for our family trip. The hotel is very new, and the facilities are modern and aesthetically pleasing. There's a wide array of recreational activities available. We booked a basic room, which was a bit small. It only had one small round table, which felt cramped for a family with a lot of luggage and personal belongings. The public entertainment areas are a major highlight of the hotel. There's a popular lazy river, and the Chess View social space offers chess, billiards, and indoor golf. The e-sports center is accessible to guests 18 and older. Both adults and children will find something to enjoy, so you won't get bored staying in the hotel. A special shout-out to Vicky for her proactive and enthusiastic service; she made our stay very pleasant. As a newly opened hotel, the facilities are excellent, but the service details still need refinement. Compared to more established resorts, there's room for improvement in service completeness and responsiveness. Overall, it's a great choice for families looking for diverse recreational facilities. We look forward to seeing the hotel continue to improve."
