We had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. Despite making a full payment through Trip.com at the time of reservation for 3 rooms, the hotel staff demanded another full payment upon our arrival. Even after checking out of the hotel on November 21st 2024, I have yet to receive a full refund from Trip.com, as the hotel staff had assured us. This lack of professionalism and transparency caused unnecessary stress during our stay. Furthermore, the security guard refused to let us alight at the main driveway in front of the hotel lobby to drop off our luggage, claiming that it would ”block the hotel’s feng shui” as per their boss’s instructions. However, we observed many other cars and guests doing so. This left us scrambling to find an alternative while managing our heavy bags to check into the hotel. Such behaviour is not only inconsiderate but also unacceptable in a service-oriented industry. We will avoid staying at this hotel in the future.

The place is secluded, no concrete buildings around, just luxuriant mountains behind you and large, clean beaches in front of you. The overall architecture of the place is elegant and grand, both in its building and in its park. The service is discreet and attentive. They are here when you need them. It is recommended to speak Mandarin. The hotel restaurant was a nice surprise - especially for me who usually does not like hotel food. They may not exactly fit in the expected criteria of an international luxury hotel and we recommend any international guest to look beyond those Western standards and appreciate how unique this place is. We had a fantastic time. Highly recommended.

The room was clean, good view. Unfortunately, the beach has signs of no swimming allowed...so I wasn't impressed by that. The location is absolutely not very convenient to do anything else besides being in the hotel. The choice of food was very limited especially Western food. Also, no halal food or coucher food for other people that can't eat pork...no signs for Halal food. This is the Westin hotel, the waiters have no idea and couldn't help. The only time someone spoke English to me was during the buffet dinner. I came down to have dinner the second night and ask for some English speaking person to help me ordering halal food...the waiter said the manager wasn't there or the chef. I was very hungry and had no choice but to order anything so I can eat...I was really disappointed. Honestly for the price of this hotel I can get a much better service in Yalong Bay or Sanya. I hope the management can try to improve their service and provide a variety of western food and especially Halal and coucher food. You can expect people to pay that much for this Westin hotel and not eat what they need. So disappointed

She was always available for communication, whether in person or over the phone (or texting via WeChat) making sure that we were comfortable and well-informed. Elena's assistance went beyond the usual. She helped us with translations, speaking fluent English, Chinese, and Russian, ensuring that language was never a barrier for us. Her dedication truly shone when she orchestrated a special surprise for my girlfriend's birthday. She arranged for the pianist to play a heartfelt rendition of ”Happy Birthday,” creating a memorable and touching moment that we will cherish forever. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of architecture, combining luxurious comfort with a cozy atmosphere. The grandiose design blends beautifully with the tropical, jungle-like surroundings, offering a unique and immersive experience. The beach, with its clear white sand, adds to the paradise-like vibe. Breakfast was another highlight, with amazing buffet that catered to a variety of tastes. Our room, complete with a private pool, was stunning and provided the perfect setting for relaxation.
