"We chose to stay at the Sanyue Hotel on June 1st, and it just happened to be their first anniversary celebration. The whole day was packed with high-tech activities, and in the evening, there was a fantastic fireworks display and a drone show. The robot dance at night was also really fun, interacting with the kids in the lobby. Our butler, Tiantian, was incredibly attentive, constantly reminding us about the activities. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back again!"

The front desk service was excellent too; they were very prompt with printing and opening doors for us. It's a testament to their popularity that there's a constant stream of guests at the front desk, even at this time of year. The surrounding area, a Tanka fishing village, has a relaxed, down-to-earth vibe that we really enjoyed. In the evening, we could stroll along the boardwalk on the opposite beach and even saw some 'catch-the-sea' aunties (women foraging for seafood). The only minor drawback was that the cleanliness could have been a little better."

The day before we arrived, Shirley proactively reached out to us, carefully asking about our needs. She helped us arrange our room type in advance and even kindly installed a bed rail for our child, which was incredibly detailed and considerate. She patiently explained the park's attractions and daily activity schedules, saving us a lot of hassle. During our stay, her responses were incredibly fast, and she was always willing to help. Whether it was a request for the room or advice on our itinerary, she was always gentle, patient, professional, and efficient. She consistently anticipated our needs, and her attention to detail was incredibly heartwarming. Her service throughout was genuine and heartfelt, making us feel truly at home and ensuring our vacation was warm and comfortable."

"My overall experience was mediocre, with a polarizing mix of pros and cons. My stay at this hotel was, to put it mildly, quite average. There were numerous issues throughout, with only a few minor details managing to salvage some goodwill. I'm sharing this honest review for anyone considering staying here. First, let's talk about the check-in process, which significantly impacted my experience. It was incredibly convoluted and inconvenient. As a guest who booked through Trip.com, I couldn't check in at a convenient spot. Instead, I had to lug heavy luggage nearly 200 meters, navigating twists and turns just to find the registration desk. The whole process was exhausting and frustrating. Even though I checked in during the off-season, which should have made things smoother, the queue was filled with complaints. Guests were generally unhappy with the hotel's arrangements. Even with the front desk staff's polite and patient demeanor, it did little to alleviate everyone's poor mood. Next, the hotel's facilities and room experience fell far short of expectations. I specifically booked a room with a pool, but the pool's cleanliness was shockingly bad. There were bugs, ants, and debris on the water surface and around it – I wouldn't dare swim in it. The supposed recreational amenity was useless. The room itself felt very damp, making it uncomfortable to stay in for long. The overall decor was old-fashioned and tacky. Furthermore, the hotel's signage was extremely unclear. Check-in was on the third floor, but to find my room, I had to go to the first floor and then navigate a confusing maze. There was no logical flow, and I spent a lot of energy just trying to find my way around during my stay. Dining was even more disappointing. The breakfast buffet was set up in a conference room, leading to a crowded and chaotic dining experience. It was completely uncomfortable and lacked the quality and atmosphere one would expect from a hotel breakfast. However, the hotel staff's overall service attitude was excellent. They were responsive to issues and even provided a barrier for me, which was one of the few redeeming qualities. For parents traveling with children, I strongly advise against ordering food from delivery platforms. The hotel's in-room dining menu far exceeded expectations. The Hainanese chicken rice, in particular, was outstanding – clean ingredients, excellent taste, and far superior to food from delivery apps like **. This was truly the only pleasant surprise of my stay."

My parents didn't realize it was only for the first night, but when they called room service the next day, they still sent another platter. "The service here is absolutely top-notch! We got lost, and the hotel arranged a shuttle to pick us up. When we left, the driver even dropped us off at the intersection and helped us load our luggage into the car! The environment is fantastic too! It's right next to the bar street, which gets incredibly lively at night! My friend and I went to three different bars! The atmosphere was amazing! Surfing is also super convenient from here! Seriously, if you're coming, you *have* to stay at this hotel! My friend and I both agree that this place beats 99.9% of the hotels in Riyue Bay! It's a shame our itinerary was already set, otherwise, we would have definitely stayed a few more days!"

"I've always wanted to stay at Raffles Clearwater Bay, and I finally got to! I booked a Seaview Residence but was upgraded for free to a Bali Lighthouse Room, and the ocean view was absolutely stunning! My room was 1157, and there wasn't even a hint of mildew. While the facilities might be older, they're not run-down at all, which is perfectly fine. The public areas are grand and beautiful, with plenty of spots for photos. My favorite was the irregularly shaped pool; the winding lanes were so interesting. Breakfast clean-up was a little slow, but there was always enough seating. After checking out, I stayed by the pool for a long time. I'd suggest adding a hairdryer and dry towels to the restrooms by the pool for convenience. My butler, DARRYL, was incredibly responsive to all my requests. I'd definitely come back!"
