GGuest UserThis seaside resort villa experience in Lingshui was simply amazing and must be given a 5-point review!
The villa is in an excellent location, within walking distance to the sea, adjacent to Boundary Island and Nanwan Monkey Island.
The overall design of the villa is unique, tropical style courtyard, one household, each with its own characteristics, the park is lush with green plants, one step at a time, the sense of resort atmosphere directly pulled full.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with oversized floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the garden and greenery. The bedding is soft and comfortable, ensuring good sleep quality.
The hygiene is impeccable, the room is neat and clean, spotless, the details are handled very well, you can see the staff's care.
The service is even better, the staff registers breakfast time in advance
The villa is fully equipped and high quality with a private pool in the courtyard
The surroundings are beautiful and quiet, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, only accompanied by the sound of the waves and birdsong, which makes people thoroughly relax. Here, I really felt what is called the perfect seaside vacation experience, highly recommended to everyone!

DDuduerdongPros: It's like staying at an Aloha hotel. The staff is friendly and attentive.
Cons: The Aloha room type is poorly designed: the bedroom is so small that the bed is almost against the wall on three sides, there's only a single nightstand, and the sink only fits one toiletry bag. I was about to praise the hotel for the thoughtful inclusion of a disposable toilet seat cover, but when I saw the toilet seat, I suddenly didn't think it was a thoughtful gesture; it turned out to be a necessity.
Food and drinks are far from nearby, making it unsuitable for those who are lazy. Since the trip was long, I had planned to wander around the area before heading to Sanya to stay in a hotel. I planned to stay in Lingshui for four or five days. As an autonomous county, Lingshui lacks tourist facilities beyond the sandy beaches of Qingshui Bay, and the night market is quite chaotic. It's peak season now, and better hotels are comparable in price to five-star hotels in Yalong Bay. After one night, I decided to move to Sanya. I don't recommend staying here for vacations other than self-driving tours. After a day of traveling, you won't feel like you're on vacation in such an environment.

GGuest UserI saw many posts online about Kimpton Lingshui, and since it's a new hotel, I made a point to stay there after arriving in Sanya. Overall, it was quite good.
Facilities: As a new hotel, the facilities are impeccable. The bathroom amenities are excellent, with Marvis toothpaste and a cute massage cushion comb. The room decor and public area design are exquisite.
Hygiene: Personally, I think the hygiene needs improvement. The shelf in the bathroom might have been overlooked, as there was some dust. Also, on the first morning after checking in, my daughter woke up with one eye swollen. Based on an online consultation and subsequent developments, it was an allergic reaction due to contact with or a bite from an insect. Since she was fine before going to bed, it was highly likely she encountered the insect in the room. I reported it to our butler Winnie the next day, and she immediately arranged for pest control, which was great!
Environment: The hotel's scenery is beautiful. The ocean view from the room is very healing, and every step you take around the hotel offers a new picturesque view.
Service: All the staff I encountered were very friendly. Even if they weren't sure about something, they would actively help inquire and resolve it. I'm most grateful to our butler Winnie; I could report anything to her, and she would quickly help resolve it. She was very proactive and had an excellent attitude throughout, asking daily if there was anything she could assist with. This deserves high praise!
Food: Perhaps my expectations for breakfast were too high due to all the positive online comments. The quality was excellent, and it's available until 12 PM, but I felt the variety was a bit limited. We tried all the hotel's restaurants; both the Japanese restaurant, Pelican, and the Cantonese restaurant offered very good cuisine, better than some top hotels in Sanya.
I'd also like to offer some suggestions. Besides needing to supervise hygiene more closely, the hotel needs to pay more attention to maintenance, including in-room facilities and outdoor landscaping. For a hotel that opened recently, the maintenance is not quite up to par, for example, with the drainage, TV, and remote control in the rooms. I hope the hotel can pay more attention to these areas and continue to improve.

GGuest UserFacilities: The facilities are new and excellent. The amenities provided are high-quality brands. Both the park and the swimming pool are fantastic. The room offers a great sea view, and the two-level elevator buttons show thoughtful design, especially for children.
Hygiene: Clean and tidy. The swimming pools are also very clean.
Environment: The hotel environment is clean and free of any unpleasant odors.
Service: The service is meticulous and attentive. Our butler, Anna, was incredibly thoughtful; not only did she fulfill all our requests, but she also anticipated many of our needs, such as arranging luggage pickup before check-out.
We happened to visit during the hotel's third anniversary celebration, which featured a variety of activities and gifts. It was a truly delightful trip!

The hotel is sparkling new and clean, with a modern and luxurious design. There's absolutely no new-decoration smell. From the lobby to the rooms, every detail is exquisitely crafted. The blue and white ocean theme is incredibly soothing and perfect for photos! The facilities, bedding, and bathroom amenities are all premium brands, making for a comfortable and reassuring stay.

We didn't do any research before choosing Xiangshui Bay; we just picked this hotel when we saw it. We drove there ourselves, which was convenient. The hotel is about 700-800 meters from the street, located in a villa area. The butler had informed us of our license plate number beforehand, as other cars aren't allowed in this area. Upon entering the villa area, I was struck by how large it was, but it felt a bit deserted. The check-in area wasn't what I expected. Having stayed at Raffles Hotel before, I assumed it would be similar, but there were only two young men there to greet us. However, I must say that the two men who greeted us were incredibly patient, and they should have upgraded my room for free—it was a whopping 500 square meters! After check-in, the butler took us to our room, and wow, it was huge! It took several minutes to get there in the sightseeing vehicle. Now, let's talk about the hotel itself. For this price, the room was excellent value. While the hotel facilities weren't particularly new, they were comprehensive and very comfortable. We had such a pleasant stay that we didn't want to leave. The butler was always available, which was wonderful. The hotel's public areas were a bit messy, perhaps due to the heavy rain, but the overall scenery was nice. I wasn't very satisfied with the food; breakfast wasn't a buffet. The hotel has its own restaurant, but it seemed rather empty. It's better to eat outside the hotel; the seafood restaurant across the street is particularly delicious, with great taste and reasonable prices. For those who prefer a quieter atmosphere, this is a great place. Renting a car would be more convenient, as it's quite far from the hotel. I would definitely bring friends here again next time. ✌️

After a long day of exploring, returning to the room to find fresh coconut and exquisite pastries waiting was a delightful touch. The butler service was hands down the best I've ever experienced, a definite highlight! 😄👍🏻
The hotel offers a wide array of services. We enjoyed the high-quality afternoon tea and the evening ritual – both were fantastic. Our family also took over a thousand travel photos around the hotel. All in all, this stay far exceeded our expectations and left us wanting to return.

PPCh€nPretty good service apartment with a solid sea view. One of the balcony is converted into a bedroom, you literally wake up to the seaview. The surf shop double up as a front desk. Communication was easy. The toilet had an awkward translucent panel which was not fully covered by the blinds. More suited for couples, less so for families and friends. Overall, a good apartment within walking distance to several eateries next door.

GGuest UserSelf-driving around the island in Hainan: Lingshui. Since I am traveling with my parents, I booked a family room... which is more suitable for families with children. If they are all adults, a suite or two rooms are more suitable~
About facilities
Parking🅿️: Although it is located in front of the hotel, it belongs to the public parking space of the adjacent store. There is no charge and there are almost no parking spaces. Since our model is an MPV, we still have to wait for a suitable parking space~
Room 🚪: Due to the renovation of the hotel, the normal-sized single bed and double bed, the bathroom, the sink, the toilet flush normally, the floor drains without odor, the shower head flushes and the hot water is normally equipped with disposable toiletries (dental set/shaving/care package) /shower cap)….There is no small refrigerator in the room. The TV channels are clear and there is free WiFi.
Regarding hygiene, hygiene at sight is acceptable.
Regarding the environment, there are teahouses and music restaurants in the external environment. If you don’t want to be disturbed, ask the front desk for a quiet room in advance. The internal environment is normal and the space is fully utilized.
Regarding the service, there is a proactive greeting at the front desk. High ⭐ hotel necessities~
Regarding catering, there are two breakfasts in the room. You pay the member price at the front desk and get an extra breakfast. Although you have to walk one floor to the breakfast floor, the breakfast content is very good. The taste is also very good. The service attitude is also very good.
