Travertine_Cloud-05Hotel Sanya Terran is the kind of place that inspires you to start writing a novel.
When I arrived there in the late evening around midnight or a bit after, the entrance lobby had me entranced, as it was serenaded in a blue glow, trickling different shades and layers of neon and dark blue. It added an aura of mystery, as not many people were around.
As I stayed there for a number of days, I felt, at times, like I was in an adventure novel. There are gigantic stone decorations that make it feel like you are walking through an ancient ruin. Long glass corridors wrap around many parts of the building and align with rows of hotel rooms (in one of the bldgs).
The pool is lovely and nestled in between the two wings of the hotel. The second wing of the hotel has rooms and the fitness center, where many holiday-goers are active taking instructed classes.
There were times were it felt like I was in an elaborate lair setting in a video game. The front lobby has grand seating arrangements, one of which has a foot pool recessed inside the main couch lounge near the front desk.
Overall, it was wonderful, and I was able to meet some interesting individuals. The room was immaculate and a giant steal at that price. Just a note: when ordering takeout (esp. Western food), many shops are further away, and may not be able to deliver to the hotel. It's better to go into the nearby town to find food. The hotel manager was kind enough to drive me there one night.
I look forward to going there again and continuing the thrilling adventure✨

This seaside resort villa experience in Lingshui was simply amazing and must be given a 5-point review!
The villa is in an excellent location, within walking distance to the sea, adjacent to Boundary Island and Nanwan Monkey Island.
The overall design of the villa is unique, tropical style courtyard, one household, each with its own characteristics, the park is lush with green plants, one step at a time, the sense of resort atmosphere directly pulled full.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with oversized floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the garden and greenery. The bedding is soft and comfortable, ensuring good sleep quality.
The hygiene is impeccable, the room is neat and clean, spotless, the details are handled very well, you can see the staff's care.
The service is even better, the staff registers breakfast time in advance
The villa is fully equipped and high quality with a private pool in the courtyard
The surroundings are beautiful and quiet, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, only accompanied by the sound of the waves and birdsong, which makes people thoroughly relax. Here, I really felt what is called the perfect seaside vacation experience, highly recommended to everyone!

Guest UserI specifically came here to praise Summer, the Guest Relations Manager! She was incredibly reliable and helpful with any issues we had during our stay. Whenever we wanted to book hotel activities or find out about hidden photo spots by the beach, she shared practical tips without hesitation and thought of everything even more thoroughly than I did. When we had a small request for our room mid-stay, we contacted her and she immediately helped coordinate a solution. She was friendly and approachable, with no hint of being overly formal. Thanks to her thoughtful assistance, our entire vacation was relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you so much! Also, the photographer for the travel shoot was amazing and took beautiful photos; I loved them!

The design, ambiance, and sea views in the common areas are unbeatable, easily making it one of the best hotels in Lingshui, Sanya, Hainan.
Service: All staff members were incredibly friendly, always greeting guests with a smile. I also noticed hotel managers actively supervising and welcoming guests.
Butler Service: I was particularly impressed with our butler, Wendy. She was always prompt in responding to messages, and all our requests were met.
Security: The hotel has excellent security, with guards patrolling and managing access. Even the beach entrance is secured, making it difficult for non-guests without a room card to enter.
Minor Drawbacks:
- The balcony door in the room was too heavy for children and elderly guests to open or close easily.
- During maintenance work in public areas, it's crucial to have clear barricades and signs to prevent children from accidentally wandering into unsafe zones.
- Some hotel facilities felt a bit dated, but I did observe staff actively maintaining and upgrading them, which is commendable.

Staying at Capella Sanya again certainly confirmed those familiar sentiments: once you've experienced Capella, other hotels just don't quite measure up. Even after staying at over a hundred five-star hotels, and thirty in Hainan, I still feel Capella offers the best stay. A special thank you to Chris, the cultural and tourism officer, and the travel photography team.
Improvements from our last visit:
1. Travel photography is now available, and the resulting photos are excellent.
2. The tennis court is now free and has no time limit. They even provide children's rackets, iced water, and iced towels – the attention to detail is superb.
3. Provided a dedicated car service to the station, greatly facilitating our journey to the next destination.
4. Used the gazebo for the first time. Especially after a fall that left me covered in sand, the gazebo's washing facilities were incredibly convenient.
5. Received complimentary champagne, making our 10th wedding anniversary feel truly special.
6. Had a dedicated discussion with the hotel management, which significantly deepened my understanding of the brand, making the stay experience more profound than superficial.
7. My child had the opportunity to play the piano and also saw the stunning high-altitude sea view of Tufu Bay, which is just as beautiful as Haitang Bay.
8. Experienced making my own cocktail at breakfast, something absolutely unheard of at other hotels, and it made up for a previous missed opportunity.
9. Children aren't allowed in the spa, but they can be looked after, which gave us great peace of mind.
10. The evening ceremony clashed with the crab-catching activity, but Chris, the cultural and tourism officer, took our child to catch crabs, allowing us to attend the evening ceremony without worry. This deserves high praise!
11. Received a full family souvenir gift. Every member was considered; in the past, souvenirs were only given to one person, but this time all three of us received one, which was a pleasant surprise.
12. The staff's service attitude has improved. The shuttle driver even came to our room door to pick us up, the pool lifeguard proactively called a car for us, and the manager conversed with us while kneeling the whole time. When we left, the car had driven quite a distance, but they were still waving goodbye.
13. There was an error in our booking, only reserving breakfast for one person, but the hotel provided a complimentary breakfast for the other person. Otherwise, the cost for an extra breakfast isn't low.
A few points that weren't as good:
1. The explanation for the evening ceremony was unpracticed, the process was chaotic, and the sense of occasion was diminished.
2. Several communications happened during meal times, affecting our afternoon tea and breakfast experience.
3. There were some issues with the room's TV and electric curtain buttons.
4. The hotel activity schedule was less entertaining; the activities weren't as fun as before.
Chris, the cultural and tourism officer, and his team provided a lot of information and suggestions. They truly consider the guests, making us feel at home. Only at Capella can you experience genuine butler service.

Guest UserThe B&B is a pleasant surprise. The environment is very good. The rooms are large and the equipment is new. The seafood porridge for breakfast is also delicious. The most praiseworthy thing is that the boss is really nice. He recommended us to feed the monkeys about 150 meters away from the hotel and catch the sea about 200 meters away. We were going to the pier to take a boat. The boss also picked us up and dropped us off. Go to the entrance of Daidai Island to watch the sunset. The boss doesn’t come to do anything, he just works silently👍🏻The children don’t want to leave👍🏻

Comfortable, relaxing, and no crowds. It is a Marriott, after all, and while it's an older property, there are no major issues. Our room opened right onto the pool, and then beyond that, the beach. It was uncrowded, so no need to fight for sun loungers! For the kids, it was beach then pool, pool then beach... as long as they were in the ocean. For the adults, as long as there weren't too many people blocking my view, haha. Breakfast and dinner were good too, and the staff were friendly – high marks all around. A special shout-out to He Cui, who helped us with everything before and after our meals, with such a great attitude!

Yingzhou is 4 kilometers away from Qingshuiwan Scenic Area. You can choose to live in the town when you visit Qingshuiwan. It is a medium town. It is very convenient to eat. Most of the hotels are built next to the road. Qianzhuang Hotel has a relatively good environment. The lake is in front of the window. The hotel infrastructure is sound. Elevator, 24-hour hot water, air conditioning, free parking in front of the dam. After closing the window at night, there was a little sound, the hotel was not newly built, and the room rate was cost-effective! The bedding is clean and hygienic!

Not young people looking at the store, the service is average.
But the store is very good value for money, go to Monkey Island, stay on the island is very convenient, walk to the pier, or the cable car ride. Driving to Wuzhizhou Island Pier for about 1 hour.
During the peak water hours at night, there may be temporary water suspension.
It is not cost-effective to catch the sea nearby, go fishing, and pull the cage. It is said that it was possible to rent a fisherman's boat to go out to fish for starfish and sea urchins. Now it is not for fishermen. The government is afraid that the fisherman's boat is dangerous. But those regular boats to fish for starfish sea urchins, pull the cage is very expensive, about 800 yuan, pull you to fish for starfish sea urchins, back and forth for half an hour, take a net fish two times to get starfish sea urchins, meaning let you go. The so-called pull cage is the kind of net put in advance for two or three days on the fish chop. Basically, you can't catch anything. There may be one or two fish that receive more goods, otherwise it is all small crabs, which is very, very worthless!

The room is big, very clean and tidy, the boss is very enthusiastic, the environment is very good, there is a commercial street nearby, it is very convenient to eat and drink, it takes less than ten minutes to walk to the beach, and there is a swimming pool downstairs. This weather is very suitable for playing in the water. If I didn't have to go back to work, I would be reluctant to leave. Hahahaha. Not bad. Recommended
