The hotel is in a very good location. It's really close to the metro station and Chinatown, and it's about a 25-minute walk to the Petronas Twin Towers. Right next to the hotel, there's a self-service laundry and a 24/7 supermarket.
The breakfast doesn't have a huge variety, but you definitely won't leave hungry. The room is a bit small, but it's fine for the price. Cleaning is done on request, which is pretty convenient.
I would definitely stay here again.

Room was quite narrow, hairdryer was broken for one of the rooms. Toilet is very small and the heater had some leakages. We put the please clean the room sign outside the door already but when we came back, our room was in the same condition as it was when we left. There is also weird smell in the corridor and in the toilet. Beware before you book this hotel, there is NO ELEVATOR. If you have a luggage heavier than 10kg i would not recommend you staying here. Location is good and staff was helpful to help us bring our luggage upstairs and downstairs.

We contacted the hotel via WhatsApp a day before arrival, completed the pre-check-in, and received detailed instructions about access and parking (we had a car). The check-in itself was quick and smooth, with no lines. We were given two room keys, which also worked as parking cards.
The room was very spacious and cozy. The only surprise was the condition of the towels: they were clean but quite worn, and once we were even given a torn one. The view was beautiful — overlooking the Saloma Link, with the Petronas Towers. The cemetery view did not bother us at all.
Housekeeping is done on request: every morning the administrator messages to ask whether cleaning is needed. Unfortunately, the cleaning quality was rather basic — dust was not removed, and we even left a small piece of paper on the floor as a test, which stayed there until the end of our stay. Trash was taken out regularly, and water, tea, and coffee were replenished. On the positive side, the staff were very responsive and reacted to any request quickly. There were no insects and no unpleasant smells in the room.
The swimming pool on the 51st floor has stunning city views and is perfect for photos. However, the pool itself is not very large, there are very few loungers, and the relaxation area is small, not very cozy, and almost always occupied.
A special mention goes to the elevators: during peak hours it is very difficult to get one, crowds form, and waiting times can reach 15 minutes or more.
Overall, I can recommend this hotel. We spent an unforgettable 10 days there.

You can really see the effort they put into maintaining a clean and comfortable environment. The doorway, hallway, and room were all clean and fresh, which I truly appreciate. The WiFi was also reliable, which is important for me.
The room was spacious definitely a big plus point. I requested a quiet room and even extended my stay for another night because of how comfortable it was.
I will definitely come back if I visit this city again.

The room was quite spacious. There were four of us on a family trip, and we found it to be economical and very clean. My dad and son shared a bed, and I shared a bed with my sister-in-law. My only regret was not requesting a high floor when booking; the Twin Towers view from the tenth floor wasn't as great. The experience was excellent. We weren't sure where to put the trash, so we just left it in the room. Also, we didn't have to leave a deposit, and the housekeeper was always available online, which was great. If I visit Kuala Lumpur again, I'll definitely stay here. For someone like me who doesn't usually walk much, the slight uphill walk to get here was a nice bit of exercise. Overall, it was good! It's within walking distance of the Twin Towers, the aquarium, and Pavilion.

GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it exceeded my expectations in many ways. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable bedding and all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and quick to assist with any requests, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the buffet. The selection was impressive, offering a wide variety of dishes that catered to different tastes. From fresh salads and flavorful local specialties to international favorites and decadent desserts, everything was well-prepared and beautifully presented. I especially appreciated how frequently the dishes were replenished, ensuring that everything remained fresh throughout. Breakfast was equally delightful, with a great mix of hot and cold options to start the day right.
Overall, this hotel provides a comfortable and enjoyable experience, with its standout buffet being a true highlight. I would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant stay with excellent dining options.
LLisailiu33Walking in, it felt like an older hotel but with very high-end facilities. I was genuinely surprised when I entered the room because all the hotels with infinity pools overlooking the Petronas Towers were too expensive for Chinese New Year, so I chose this one, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The breakfast was also excellent.
I didn't take many photos of the hotel, but it's genuinely much better in person than in the pictures! 😂🤣
Oh, and it has an old-fashioned central air conditioning system with a knob regulator. The single bed was directly in the path of the AC, which made it a bit chilly.
WWuxiaowaFacilities: We booked a family room with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms didn't have a window, but it wasn't a big issue. The master bathroom has a bathtub, but be careful as the hot water is very hot – don't get scalded! There's a washing machine and dryer, so remember to bring some laundry detergent if you need it. The 51st floor has an infinity pool and observation deck, which was quite unique.
Cleanliness: Generally, it was quite clean.
Environment: The location is also pretty good, making it convenient to get to many places. However, I'm not really used to the apartment-hotel style; it felt a bit disorganized.
Service: We originally booked a room with a Twin Towers view, but were given a non-view room instead. The process of trying to resolve this wasn't very satisfactory, and both rooms we were offered as alternatives had minor issues. Some of the staff members always looked grumpy and seemed impatient, which is something I've never experienced in all the hotels I've stayed at before. 🙂 The staff who spoke Chinese were much nicer.
GGuest UserEverything was good. The room design was nice. Friendly and helpful staffs. The only drawback was a group of people racing motorcycle during midnight which caused sleepless night.
SSaiiiizFor this Kuala Lumpur trip, we chose to stay at Vortex Suite KLCC, and I must say it was absolutely the right decision
The room was very clean and well-organized, with all the necessary amenities. It was perfect for both relaxing and taking photos. The view from the room was amazing, especially at night when you can see the city lights—such a romantic atmosphere
The location is also excellent, very close to KLCC and many key attractions. It’s super convenient to get around, whether you want to eat, explore, or go shopping—no long travel needed at all.
What made this stay even more impressive was the care from Alum 🙏
From before check-in until the day we checked out, Alum was always there to assist us. Quick responses, clear information, and very helpful with everything—from check-in instructions to travel tips—everything went smoothly and stress-free.
It really felt like someone was taking care of us throughout the whole trip, which made the experience even more enjoyable
If you’re looking for a place to stay in Kuala Lumpur that is clean, well-located, has a great view, and comes with attentive service, I highly recommend this place 👍
I will definitely come back to stay at Vortex Suite KLCC again next time.
Thank you so much, Alum, for taking such great care of us throughout our stay
GGuest UserWe keep coming back to this hotel. Staff is so good, and after the 4th time, they new ey us and welcome us back
We stayed here 5 times aprox 2/3 nights between January and April, We left a big suitcase while traveling and it made us feel free without any hassle
We love to use tKL as our base while traveling across Asia. Breakfast is quite I love the way the go the extra mile for you
GGuest UserOverall environment look clean, and safe. 24/7 security, KKmart & 7evelen operating, you can find food easier.
Only area to improve are it need to pay the Rm200 deposit, to ensure the tenants not damaged or dirty the room. This Rm 200 to be refund after 7 days, which is not reasonable.
RRosman RazaliIt's a good hotel, combined with apartments, so you will see some rooms are not under hotel management. Cleanliness is OK, not too clean, not too dirty. Rooms look outdated. TV is broken as per picture. Location is good for shopping near Ariani, Jakel Mall, Jalan TAR and Sogo. Car park charge per entry, RM6.60 per entry, quite limited if you arrive late at midnight. Room small, but not too small, still can put TOTO on the floor and sleep 2 more person. Overall OK.
PPingPinGPingPingMy overall experience at Floresta Hotel Chinatown was fair to good, making it suitable for short stays or travelers primarily focused on city sightseeing. The hotel's greatest advantage is its extremely convenient location in the heart of Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown, with abundant amenities nearby. It's within walking distance of popular attractions like Petaling Street, Pasar Seni, and Central Market. There are also numerous local restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores in the vicinity, saving a lot of time and effort for dining, shopping, and public transport – a big plus for tourists.
Regarding the accommodation, the rooms are generally designed for economy, so space isn't generous, but essential facilities like air conditioning, hot water, TV, and Wi-Fi are all available and perfectly adequate for daily use. It's ideal for guests who prioritize rest over luxury. The bed linens were reasonably clean, and while soundproofing was average (occasionally hearing corridor or outside noise at night), it was still within an acceptable range. The front desk staff were friendly, and check-in and check-out processes were smooth, with basic needs being addressed.
However, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve. One notable point is the lack of free parking, which is inconvenient for guests arriving by car, as they'll need to find paid parking nearby, incurring additional time and cost. Furthermore, some facilities appear a bit dated, and the overall decor is rather simple. Travelers with higher expectations for their accommodation environment might find it somewhat lacking.
Overall, Floresta Hotel Chinatown is an economy hotel that excels due to its location. If your itinerary focuses on city activities, sightseeing, and food exploration, and you don't have high demands for accommodation quality, it remains a reasonably good value-for-money option. However, if parking convenience or newer facilities are important to you, you might want to consider other options.
