Starus Hotel Bukit Bintang (formerly known as Stay with Bintang)

Guests appreciate the friendly staff and comfortable beds. The location near shopping, dining, and transportation is convenient. However, no specific disadvantages were mentioned.

We travelled to KL in a big group and booked more than 20 rooms here. It’s unacceptable that 1/3 of rooms complained about the cockroaches appearing in their rooms. The one with most serious situation changed room once, but the cockroaches were found again in the new room. There was even one cockroach crawling on the breads of hotel breakfast on 1/F. The whole group of us didn’t dare to have breakfast in hotel again. I found one cockroach in my room as well. After I killed it at night and room cleaning service came next morning, the CORPUS was still there when I came back to hotel that evening! It’s ridiculous that the room cleaning only change the towel and make the bed tidy, without any real cleaning. Some rooms facing the main road are noisy, and we can even identity which song is being sung by people below. If you are not lucky and there are 5 people checking at the same time, it may cost you more than half an hour. It was my situation, as I waited from 7:20-8:00pm, which is this hotel’s capacity to handle the checking-in of merely 5 rooms.

There are ants and mosquitoes in the room. The room smells bad. Deposit RM100 only accepted in cash and before check out, they will check the room then only refund. And no shampoo or body wash.
