"I had a generally pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was nice but quite small, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast, in particular, was absolutely exceptional, one of the highlights. However, there were a few issues that affected the overall experience: 1. Hot water wasn’t available in the mornings when you typically need it the most. 2. The water pressure was quite low until the maintenance team came to fix it. 3. The washroom also had a constant unpleasant smell, which was disappointing. 4. Additionally, the boxing arena right in front of the hotel created a lot of noise, especially during the evenings. 5. We had to ask for a few amenities (soap and slippers) Overall, it wasn’t the most comfortable stay, but you do get what you pay for. Because of the helpful staff and outstanding breakfast, I’m giving this hotel a positive rating."

"The front desk service was warm and friendly, with staff proactively greeting guests and responding quickly. The location is relatively quiet, and it costs around 200-500 Thai Baht for a taxi to tourist attractions. It's in the same complex as a residential area and is heavily Russian-influenced, with very few Chinese tourists. This could be challenging for guests who rely on English, as they have Russian-speaking staff, but that's not the main issue... 1. The key card system has a bug; you can only get a maximum of two cards. If you try to get more, even the original ones stop working. 2. You're limited to six filtered water bottles at a time; if you request more, you won't get them. 3. Room cleaning isn't daily; it's done every two days. 4. The bedside power outlet had poor contact and needed to be repaired twice. It was finally fixed by noon, otherwise, charging devices would have been a hassle. 5. Some power switches are loose, and the sliding door makes a noise. Light sleepers should be aware of this. 6. Most importantly, there's a serious design flaw with the bedding. The mattress is smaller than the bed frame, and my family and I repeatedly bumped our knees on the bed base. I even got a significant bruise, though thankfully it went down the next day after applying an ice pack."

"The room was very clean and beautiful, with a small balcony facing the pool – my child loved it! Plus, the room was really spacious; we could fully open all our suitcases. We arrived super late on check-in day, but the staff was so welcoming and even helped us with our luggage! I'd definitely stay here again next time. Oh, and the hawker stalls downstairs at the hotel are delicious! The Tom Yum soup was the best I had during my entire 6-day trip in Phuket."

"The location is pretty good, within walking distance to Pubudu Old Street, and there are plenty of food options around, including two 7-Elevens and a McDonald's. When we arrived on the first day, the staff at the entrance actively came forward to help with our luggage and open the door. The front desk staff can speak simple Chinese, but basic English is also fine for direct communication. Overall, the hotel is decent. The bed is quite large, and the cleanliness is standard. The water quality isn't great though, so I'd recommend bringing your own filter – it's convenient. I didn't get to experience other facilities; I mainly booked this hotel because it's a Marriott property."

"A great hotel. They call themselves ‘The Oasis of Patong’ and they’re not wrong. Close enough to the madness so it’s within a 15 minute walk to Bangla Rd but far enough away that it’s nice and quiet to make a relaxing stay. The pool area is great for relaxing and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a great stay and will be back."

"I was a bit worried after seeing some other reviews, but my stay completely exceeded my expectations. First off, the infinity pool offers an amazing view and experience. After checking in, they upgraded us to a sea-view room, and the thoughtful design even allows you to see the ocean through the mirror while you're getting ready. The air conditioning was always on, so the room wasn't humid at all. They also provided freshly laundered, warm duvets that had a comforting milky scent. The hotel offers scheduled shuttle service to Patong Beach Center, and it's only about a 15-minute walk to nearby attractions. There's a 7-Eleven and restaurants right next to the hotel, which is super convenient. The only downsides are that the hotel feels a bit like a maze, requiring you to carry luggage up and down stairs, and the sea-view room was a bit noisy due to being near the street."

"Overall, the experience was good, with a small hiccup on the first night of check-in. We stayed in a family room, which was spacious and had a nice view. However, the air conditioner in my child’s room was not cold at all. The hotel took immediate action to check the issue and promptly changed the room for us. The service was good overall, and the staff were friendly and helpful."

"I've stayed at this hotel three times, and this time, overall, I still think it's good, even though the room assigned wasn't as good as before, and the sea view was quite obstructed by large trees. The first time I stayed was in 2018. Eight years later, the room's sanitary facilities are still very well-maintained; there's no sense of wear and tear. However, the hotel no longer gives out the complimentary hotel-exclusive teddy bear dolls. The club breakfast and afternoon tea were much worse than my previous two visits. The breakfast menu was missing many delicious items. The afternoon tea platter was disappointing; even though it wasn't repetitive over the three days, none of the food was good. The housekeeping, club restaurant, and buggy service staff were all excellent. The hotel has a private beach. Although it's not large, it's not crowded and is very quiet. It's also great for photos. The water in Patong Beach was much cleaner than when I visited in 2020. I heard it was due to the lack of tourists during the pandemic, which allowed for a thorough cleanup. Walking down the slope from the hotel, it's a 5-minute walk straight to Patong Beach. There's a 7-Eleven just 3 minutes away. If you walk straight for 3 minutes, then turn right and walk for another 10 minutes, you'll find a night market that starts setting up stalls in the afternoon. There's a lot of food, and it's cheaper than the Patong Night Market. A tuk-tuk from the hotel to Jungceylon costs 250 to 300 baht. After 8 PM, the price increases for the return trip. Without traffic, it takes about 8 minutes to get there, but during evening rush hour, it can take just under an hour. The hotel front desk didn't inform us that there's a free shuttle to Jungceylon at 1 PM and 7 PM. You need to book in advance, or it might be full. We only remembered this free shuttle service from previous stays on our third day and had to ask about it ourselves. This meant we paid for taxis back and forth for the first few days, so I'm deducting one star for this. The hotel has three swimming pools. I didn't visit the bottom two and only swam at the club pool. There's a popular photo spot in the hotel lobby, but even hotel guests have to buy a drink to take photos there. This is very unaccommodating. I've already paid to stay at the hotel, and I can't even take a picture without an extra charge. So, I'm deducting another star for this. The mini-bar in the club room is only replenished once. There isn't much good food or drink anyway, but only getting it once for a 3 or 5-day stay feels a bit stingy."

"Location of the hotel was on top of a hill where you need to take a lift to go up to their lobby to check in Bell service,receptionist and Fnb staff service was friendly. We stay at a honeymoon suite where there is a big jacuzzi at the balcony with good privacy. They also provide a small bottle of shower gel for you to make up the bubble in the jacuzzi. Room was nicely decorated with rose petal and towel arts. However, room amenities was very basic for a suite room. They only provide 2 bottle of drinking water and a pack of chips. It was too stingy for a guest that pay more than 5000 baht for 1 night stay. The next day I was staying in Amari Patong and their amenities are way better. We take a room with a breakfast with a perception that this is a Gourmet hotel. However, it was a great disappointment. Breakfast was very basic and no variety."
