Amazing
GGuest UserIt is a superbly located hotel located just beside the Odari Park and other attractions. Hotel interior design is very modern and super clean. Staffs are superb friendly and helpful. Room size is good enough versus the price I paid. Mattress softness and clean sheets are great. Near to the shopping streets and with many great restaurants nearby. Beside the hotel, it has an Italian food for the day. Awesome taste and serve by a friendly Italian chap. Lastly, this is also a pick up and drop off hotel from and to New Chitose Airport. Super super convenient.

AAnonymous UserThis is a high-quality hotel in Sapporo, and I particularly want to praise the breakfast. The food quality was excellent, with a variety of novel local Hokkaido specialties! The breakfast was so filling it could last me through a whole day of outdoor activities. I'm not sure if it was peak season, but the women's bath was extremely crowded in the evenings, especially with many guests from Hong Kong and Korea with children. It was very lively and bustling! The size of the baths felt quite small relative to the number of guests. The room facilities were standard but of a good-to-excellent Japanese standard, and very clean. Overall, it was very comfortable. The service was average. You can only store luggage for one day, which felt a bit restrictive compared to other hotels.

AAnonymous UserThe twin room was quite spacious, with two 1.2-meter-wide single beds and enough space in between to get out of bed easily. On the other side, I could open my 30-inch suitcase. The price of around 1,000 RMB during the winter holiday, including breakfast, was acceptable. I think Ctrip had a package without breakfast for 600-700 RMB per night. However, those packages need to be booked in advance, which isn't suitable for a traveler like me who needs flexibility. One thing to note is that the duvet didn't have a cover, it was just a sheet over the duvet. It felt unhygienic (because the exposed part was the duvet itself, which isn't changed) and wasn't very comfortable. I was quite bothered by it, but since I was traveling with a child, it wasn't convenient to switch hotels. The heating was very strong, almost too hot for the duvet. The breakfast on the first floor was plentiful, mainly Asian-style.

AAnonymous UserI meticulously chose this hotel after looking through many in Sapporo, and it offers excellent value for money. I selected a room on floors 15-17, and I was assigned one on the 17th, the highest floor. My corner room faces west, offering a panoramic view of the distant mountains and the lush greenery surrounding Hokkaido University. The other side faces south, where I could see the Ferris wheel 🎡 and the clock on the TV Tower 🗼. Every morning, waking up to the sight of green hills enveloped in white clouds, I felt so relaxed that I almost didn't want to leave the room. I could have visited the Hokkaido University Museum nearby, and even had a meal there, but I went on a holiday and couldn't get any food. Getting to JR Sapporo Station was very convenient, especially close to the North Exit. Even with my mobility issues, my local guide pulled me along from JR Station to the hotel, in the evening rain, with an umbrella and luggage. For someone with average stamina, it would be no problem at all. While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge variety, it offered items I enjoyed, so I was very satisfied every morning. Their honey, labeled 'honeycomb,' was particularly interesting and delicious; I found it exceptionally sweet and fragrant, though I wonder if it was just my imagination. There were four magnetic signs on the door to indicate whether housekeeping 🧹 was needed. I chose not to have my room cleaned as I don't like others touching my bed. Each morning, I'd just place the trash outside the door and ask for two bottles of water. Inside JR Sapporo Station, there are many places to eat and shop. I bought Sapporo Agricultural College cookies, which weren't too sweet, at the Hokkaido specialty store on the first floor. There were many other shops I didn't have time to browse. Don't miss the JR Observation Deck on the 38th floor! You can go during the day, at night, or at dusk to watch the sunset. It's very convenient and beautiful. A taxi to Shiroi Koibito Park cost around 3000 yen, which is a bit pricey. Other places like Odori Park and the Ferris wheel are much closer, costing just over a thousand yen. Some reviews mentioned that the north side is quieter than the south. I agree. Since I don't enjoy shopping, the north side was perfect for me. Perhaps because my room was at the end of the hallway, it was exceptionally quiet. The guests next door seemed very quiet too. Sometimes it was so quiet it felt almost desolate. Maybe the soundproofing of the windows is excellent.

SSuiranshijingshenbingdanshimeiguanxiA truly pleasant stay! The hotel is conveniently located, just a ten-minute walk from Sapporo Station, and the surrounding area is quiet. Although the room wasn't spacious, it was well-designed, with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing. The front desk staff spoke fluent English, were very friendly and welcoming, and proactively offered advice on city transportation. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, with a good mix of Japanese and Western dishes, and I especially recommend the freshly prepared hot food. The hotel as a whole was clean and tidy, and the facilities were well-maintained. It's a highly cost-effective choice for both business trips and city sightseeing. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Sapporo.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located between New Chitose Airport and Sapporo city center. It takes about half an hour to reach Sapporo. If you're looking to shop, staying in Sapporo is more convenient. However, this hotel is a good option if you have an early flight the next day. The room had a very strong disinfectant smell; I suggest the hotel improves its ventilation.

11362175****The hotel's location is great, situated between Sapporo JR Station and Odori Subway Station. It's very close to the JR shopping area, Odori Park, and Tanukikoji shopping street, all within about a 6-minute walk. Right outside the hotel, to the left, is entrance #7 to the underground passage. Across the street is entrance #8 (which has an accessible elevator, very convenient for luggage). You can walk directly from JR Sapporo Station to the hotel via the underground passage, which is a big plus when there's snow on the ground and dragging luggage is inconvenient. This is an economy hotel, and the hygiene is quite good. Rooms aren't cleaned daily; for a three-night stay, it's cleaned once, but fresh towels are left outside the door every day. In the lobby, you can find skincare and toiletries, and garbage bags can be requested from the front desk. There's a Chinese staff member at the front desk who was helpful but never smiled, always maintaining a stern expression. Breakfast is served in the 2nd-floor restaurant, which also operates as an izakaya in the evenings. It was very mediocre; after three days, I was practically sick of it. It's a mix of Japanese and Western styles, and I wouldn't recommend adding it to your booking.

MMIN FEISapporo Hotel by Granbell offers a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The staff are friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which makes guests feel genuinely welcomed from the moment they arrive. The hotel itself is modern and clean, with immaculate rooms that reflect great attention to detail. We booked a corner suite and were delighted to be assigned a high-level room with a fantastic view, which made the stay even more memorable. Location is another strong point. The hotel is conveniently situated near Sapporo Station, making it easy to get around the city. Major shopping destinations such as Stellar Place, Daimaru, and other large malls are all within easy reach, perfect for dining and shopping. One thing to note for travelers who are driving: although parking is available at the hotel, there is a daily parking fee for hotel guests. This is worth factoring into your plans if you intend to rent a car. Overall, Sapporo Hotel by Granbell is an excellent choice for travelers seeking a modern, well-located hotel with friendly service and high-quality rooms.

MM511529****This is probably the best value for money in the Jozankei area. It includes breakfast and dinner for one day, and the onsen views from the rooftop and basement floor are excellent, plus there's an open-air bath. Downstairs, there's also a huge water park. The rooms are quite stylish too, with a very European look. Overall, at this price point, the environment really can't be beaten. Just a heads-up, if you want alcohol with dinner, you'll need to pay extra~
