"This hotel is perfectly located in Zao Yan Plaza. It's just a short walk from where the long-distance bus drops you off, and only about a 10-minute stroll to the scenic area's main entrance. The suite perfectly met our needs – it was spacious and clean. The hallway had a unique charm, and all the amenities were well-stocked. Downstairs, the breakfast was excellent too. The front desk staff were polite and enthusiastic, and they even contacted us in advance to confirm our details."

"This is a fantastic hotel, conveniently located just 500 meters from the Jiuzhaigou scenic area entrance, a quick five-minute walk. While it's a bit pricey, seeing other hotels' shuttle buses stuck in traffic in the morning instantly made me feel like it was worth every penny. The hotel's interior design and furnishings are excellent. It boasts a complete XiaoDu smart home system, so you can control the AC, lights, and curtains just by speaking – super convenient. The cleanliness is also top-notch, truly justifying the price; no compromise on quality just because it's near a scenic spot. Finally, I have to give a special shout-out to the front desk lady. Upon check-in, she proactively upgraded me to a scenic view room and shared many helpful tips and important notes about the scenic area. She was incredibly accommodating and had a wonderful attitude towards all my requests. There was a small hiccup when I missed the last bus from the scenic area that evening, and the front desk lady not only helped me contact the scenic area to find a taxi but also stayed on the phone to reassure me. She was so kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful – highly recommend!"

"Atour S Jiuzhai, located conveniently at the gorge entrance, truly stands out among the guesthouse and hotel options in the area for its excellent decor and service. The rooms are quite spacious, well-designed, and feature a modern, dark-toned aesthetic with a balcony and a separate wet/dry bathroom – exactly what I prefer. Breakfast is also up to a star-rated standard, and they offer laundry, a gym, and a reading lounge. A special mention goes to the Atour S staff; they are all exceptional. Beyond their professionalism, they bring a warmth that you don't always find even at high-end hotel front desks. I don't know if it was too much tea or altitude sickness, coupled with an early dinner, but I couldn't sleep until 3:30 AM and felt nauseous from hunger. I'm so grateful to a staff member named Li Yu at the front desk who helped me through it. I went down to the lobby myself and was impressed to see two employees working diligently at the front desk at 3:30 AM – truly commendable. Oh, and on the day I checked in, the entire block had an unexpected power outage due to a heavy downpour, but fortunately, Atour S has its own generator, so I was able to go upstairs and rest. All in all, traveling at high altitudes with kids can be a handful, but staying at Atour S definitely provided peace of mind."

"Our group of three guys went on a self-drive trip to Western Sichuan, and this guesthouse was hands down the biggest surprise and highlight of the entire journey. The overall experience even surpassed that of the Tianyuan Howard Johnson I'd stayed at before, offering incredible value for money. We had only booked one room, but the owner was incredibly thoughtful and upgraded us to a larger, more spacious room free of charge. They also provide a dedicated butler service, with staff who are attentive, responsive, and quickly and properly handle any requests, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. I absolutely have to rave about the hotel breakfast. The freshly cooked rice noodles were divine, with lamb that was stewed to perfection – tender and flavorful, not dry at all. The entire breakfast spread was thoughtfully curated, with a balanced mix of meat and vegetables, and a well-planned nutritional profile. Eating it each morning instantly banished the fatigue from our high-altitude drives. The courtyard environment was immaculately maintained; the cleanliness was impeccable. There were also gentle, adorable cats in the yard that you could pet. Free coffee and ice were always available in the common areas, and relaxing in the courtyard during downtime created a wonderful ambiance. What truly touched us was an unexpected incident during our trip: we had a tire blowout while driving. Stranded on an unfamiliar road, we were at a loss. Thankfully, the kind owner stepped in to help, proactively contacting a reliable repair shop, overseeing the entire tire replacement process for us, and even arranging for our car to be safely stored. Afterwards, they thoughtfully provided transportation to and from Jiuzhaigou. This heartwarming assistance, which went above and beyond the call of duty, made us feel incredibly secure on our journey in a foreign place. Whether it was the facilities, the dining quality, the butler service, or the owner's outstanding hospitality, everything was faultless. This was the most memorable accommodation from our Western Sichuan trip, and I will definitely be highly recommending it to all my friends planning to travel the Western Sichuan loop. It will be our top choice again next time we visit!"

"This is my second stay at the Starlight Hotel. It's close to the Zangwang Plaza drop-off point, and there are plenty of food and drink options nearby. The entrance to the Jiuzhaigou scenic area is about 1km away. [Tips] The front desk staff will explain how to explore the area and provide a map of the scenic spot. [Breakfast] Not provided, you'll need to eat out. [Pros] The environment is clean and tidy, the room is quite spacious, and the air quality is good – no smoke, mold, or sewage smells! Hot water comes out in genuinely 3 seconds. There's also a portable clothes rack in the room, which is perfect for hanging wet clothes; they dry overnight with the air conditioning on, very practical. The bathroom has a three-part wet/dry separation. For heating, there's an electric blanket. My last visit was in early March, and I was freezing cold walking through the Reed Lake section. I asked the front desk to turn on the electric blanket, and it was lovely to snuggle into the warm bed when I got back to the hotel. Be careful with the drain stopper; instructions are posted on the wall. Don't be like me and use too much force, causing the screw to come off the drain stopper. I had to trouble the manager to fix it (they didn't charge me, and even raved about how this mechanical type of drain stopper is indestructible!)."

"The room facilities were quite comprehensive and felt high-quality. I didn't experience any issues like bathroom leaks or uncomfortable dampness. The room itself was great and very convenient, and the air conditioning worked perfectly without being too noisy. It was really easy to get to the attractions from here. Downstairs, there's a small commercial area which was super handy for grabbing food or buying things, but it wasn't noisy at all when trying to sleep. The service was exceptionally warm and friendly. They even called me a day in advance to confirm my room type and reserve a parking spot. Since I was staying for multiple nights, I saw the staff many times, and every interaction was met with enthusiastic service. Overall, I'm very satisfied."

"We booked a room with a starry sky view, which had a double bed and a bunk bed. The lights were beautiful at night, and my child said it was very romantic. I forgot to take pictures. Parking was convenient, and it was very close to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. Since we decided to come to Jiuzhaigou on short notice during the holiday, we didn't book tickets in advance. The owner kindly delivered the tickets to the scenic area in the morning and we got them through the waiting list. We were very grateful. He even included a drop-off service to the scenic area, which was really kind of him."

"This hotel is super close to the scenic area, so you don't have to rush out early. A huge bonus is the hotel's round-trip shuttle service to and from the high-speed train station, which you can book through them. The driver was punctual and reliable, perfectly solving all our transportation worries. The service throughout our stay was excellent. The front desk and staff were very friendly, quick to respond to any issues, and incredibly thoughtful. Both the hotel's interior and exterior were well-maintained. Our room was clean and bright, and the public areas were neat and elegant, making for a truly relaxing and comfortable stay. Overall, it's great value for money. If you're visiting this area, this place should be your top choice. I genuinely recommend it to everyone."

"This newly opened Crystal Hotel is fantastic – there's absolutely no 'new hotel' smell in the rooms. The lobby looks incredibly classy, and the lobby bar is super convenient with a great ambiance. After a long day of exploring, it was so relaxing to just grab a drink and some snacks there in the evening. The hotel's location is also excellent, only about 10 minutes from Jiuzhaigou and the 'Eternal Love' show. Breakfast was really extensive too. I also have to commend the staff; they were so warm and friendly. I'll definitely choose this Crystal Hotel again if I get the chance to return!"
