"This hotel is perfectly located in Zao Yan Plaza. It's just a short walk from where the long-distance bus drops you off, and only about a 10-minute stroll to the scenic area's main entrance. The suite perfectly met our needs – it was spacious and clean. The hallway had a unique charm, and all the amenities were well-stocked. Downstairs, the breakfast was excellent too. The front desk staff were polite and enthusiastic, and they even contacted us in advance to confirm our details."

They even lent us umbrellas when it rained in the morning at the scenic area! The receptionist was incredibly patient and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed. Some of the courtyards even have hot springs. This place is truly ideal for tourists who've spent a long day exploring the scenic area. It's one of the closest accommodations to the park entrance, practically within walking distance. Plus, we were able to relax in the hotel lobby's lounge area with sofas and water during the time between checking out and catching our high-speed train in the afternoon."

"The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of food options nearby. The night view from the window is absolutely stunning and really sets the mood. The ******* young man who checked me in was incredibly attentive; he even helped me with my laundry. The entire stay was smooth and stress-free. "Our group of three guys went on a self-drive trip to Western Sichuan, and this guesthouse was hands down the biggest surprise and highlight of the entire journey. The overall experience even surpassed that of the Tianyuan Howard Johnson I'd stayed at before, offering incredible value for money. We had only booked one room, but the owner was incredibly thoughtful and upgraded us to a larger, more spacious room free of charge. They also provide a dedicated butler service, with staff who are attentive, responsive, and quickly and properly handle any requests, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. I absolutely have to rave about the hotel breakfast. The freshly cooked rice noodles were divine, with lamb that was stewed to perfection – tender and flavorful, not dry at all. The entire breakfast spread was thoughtfully curated, with a balanced mix of meat and vegetables, and a well-planned nutritional profile. Eating it each morning instantly banished the fatigue from our high-altitude drives. The courtyard environment was immaculately maintained; the cleanliness was impeccable. There were also gentle, adorable cats in the yard that you could pet. Free coffee and ice were always available in the common areas, and relaxing in the courtyard during downtime created a wonderful ambiance. What truly touched us was an unexpected incident during our trip: we had a tire blowout while driving. Stranded on an unfamiliar road, we were at a loss. Thankfully, the kind owner stepped in to help, proactively contacting a reliable repair shop, overseeing the entire tire replacement process for us, and even arranging for our car to be safely stored. Afterwards, they thoughtfully provided transportation to and from Jiuzhaigou. This heartwarming assistance, which went above and beyond the call of duty, made us feel incredibly secure on our journey in a foreign place. Whether it was the facilities, the dining quality, the butler service, or the owner's outstanding hospitality, everything was faultless. This was the most memorable accommodation from our Western Sichuan trip, and I will definitely be highly recommending it to all my friends planning to travel the Western Sichuan loop. It will be our top choice again next time we visit!"

"This is my second stay at the Starlight Hotel. It's close to the Zangwang Plaza drop-off point, and there are plenty of food and drink options nearby. The entrance to the Jiuzhaigou scenic area is about 1km away. [Tips] The front desk staff will explain how to explore the area and provide a map of the scenic spot. [Breakfast] Not provided, you'll need to eat out. [Pros] The environment is clean and tidy, the room is quite spacious, and the air quality is good – no smoke, mold, or sewage smells! Hot water comes out in genuinely 3 seconds. There's also a portable clothes rack in the room, which is perfect for hanging wet clothes; they dry overnight with the air conditioning on, very practical. The bathroom has a three-part wet/dry separation. For heating, there's an electric blanket. My last visit was in early March, and I was freezing cold walking through the Reed Lake section. I asked the front desk to turn on the electric blanket, and it was lovely to snuggle into the warm bed when I got back to the hotel. Be careful with the drain stopper; instructions are posted on the wall. Don't be like me and use too much force, causing the screw to come off the drain stopper. I had to trouble the manager to fix it (they didn't charge me, and even raved about how this mechanical type of drain stopper is indestructible!)."

"The room was spotless, and I really appreciated the disposable face towels, bath towels, and even a disposable toilet seat cover – a very thoughtful touch! The front desk staff was super friendly and welcoming. They even gave us an extra breakfast portion, which was a nice surprise. The shuttle driver recommended by the hotel was also great, definitely worth a shout-out. Getting to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area by taxi was convenient, and there were plenty of snack bars and tasty food options nearby. Thumbs up all around!"

"We booked a room with a starry sky view, which had a double bed and a bunk bed. The lights were beautiful at night, and my child said it was very romantic. I forgot to take pictures. Parking was convenient, and it was very close to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. Since we decided to come to Jiuzhaigou on short notice during the holiday, we didn't book tickets in advance. The owner kindly delivered the tickets to the scenic area in the morning and we got them through the waiting list. We were very grateful. He even included a drop-off service to the scenic area, which was really kind of him."

A huge bonus is the hotel's round-trip shuttle service to and from the high-speed train station, which you can book through them. The driver was punctual and reliable, perfectly solving all our transportation worries. The service throughout our stay was excellent. The front desk and staff were very friendly, quick to respond to any issues, and incredibly thoughtful. Both the hotel's interior and exterior were well-maintained. Our room was clean and bright, and the public areas were neat and elegant, making for a truly relaxing and comfortable stay. Overall, it's great value for money. If you're visiting this area, this place should be your top choice. I genuinely recommend it to everyone."

"The environment is great, and the decor is stylish and grand. On the day of check-in, the front desk called in advance to ask if I had any room preferences, which was very thoughtful service. The hotel's location is excellent, with free parking, and it's about a 15-minute walk to the scenic area. There are many great restaurants nearby. The beautiful scenery with clear waters and green mountains really uplifted my mood. The room also came with a mini-fridge, and the sleep-aid essential oil diffuser next to the bed smelled wonderful, helping me sleep very soundly. A fantastic hotel!"
