Our stay at Jiuzhai Yunshang was truly special and one of the highlights of our trip to Jiuzhaigou. Nestled beautifully in the mountains, the inn offers a wonderful sense of peace and tranquillity, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. A special mention has to go to our personal butler, 扎西, who made our stay incredibly memorable. He was warm, thoughtful and attentive without ever being intrusive. He made sure our time was well spent by arranging wonderful experiences such as mountain mushroom picking and a visit to a local Zhang household, giving us the opportunity to experience the local culture and way of life. What we especially appreciated was the perfect balance between activities and personal time. 扎西 made sure we had things to look forward to while also giving us plenty of space to simply enjoy the villa, take in the mountain scenery and listen to the rain in complete peace. It was exactly the kind of slow, relaxing escape we needed. The villa itself was beautiful, with clean and modern interiors complemented by gorgeous Zhang-style aesthetics. It felt luxurious yet warm and deeply connected to its surroundings. Thank you to 扎西 and the team for making our stay so thoughtful and memorable. An experience that exceeded expectations! It's definitely worth setting aside a day to explore the Zhongcha Gully, walk on the grass, bask in the sun, and then slowly head back to town. 1. During the National Day holiday, the temperatures in Jiuzhaigou are quite low in the mornings and evenings (0-10°C). The flat-level king room has underfloor heating. Returning to the room from the cold night, feeling the warm floor under your feet makes you feel like you've come home to a warm shelter in the woods – it's incredibly cozy. 2. The hotel is designed in the style of traditional ******* residences, making you feel like you've stepped into a secluded village. Waking up early, you can see lambs grazing on leaves in the courtyard. The environment is incredibly relaxing. 3. The service is excellent. The staff are all enthusiastic young people who will prepare sweet fruits for you, especially the crisp red plums in autumn. Every day, returning to the room feels like coming home. You can brew a pot of tea, eat some fruit, and watch TV on the soft sofa. 4. Around 7 AM, if you open the door, you can witness the golden glow of the sun illuminating the mountains. 5. The hotel offers activities such as visiting local ******* families, baking bread, and painting Thangkas. I highly recommend visiting a ******* family and asking plenty of questions to uncover some hidden gems from the 'treasure old cadres'! 6. The transportation is convenient, with a dedicated shuttle service to the scenic area and the special line bus stop. The hotel is less than a 10-minute drive from Huamei Square, the boarding point for the scenic area's special line bus, with no traffic jams. Hotel Comparison: 1. I met a guest who had also stayed at the Ritz-Carlton, about 1.5km away, and they said the mountain views there weren't as good as this hotel's. However, if you're a fan of JAYA's legacy works, you might consider the 'Hidden World' (another hotel). 2. I also considered the Conrad and Hilton. After visiting Huamei Square, I found them to be pretty standard luxury hotels. Since I'm already in a ******* area, I definitely wanted to stay somewhere with a unique and memorable character. Drawback: The breakfast was quite ordinary, on par with an Atour hotel.

The ultimate healing haven in Jiuzhaigou! During my trip to Jiuzhaigou, I booked a hotel at the valley entrance for the first night. For the second night, I specifically looked for a guesthouse on the mountain in Jiuzhaigou. Turns out, this decision was incredibly smart! The guesthouse is on the mountain with unbeatable views. The owner is handsome and super welcoming, treating us like friends. He's also a great conversationalist. They even have a little dog named 'Maiduo' (麦朵). It wagged its tail and played with me, genuinely curing all our fatigue. After a whole day of walking in the valley, my legs were shot, but coming back to a hot yak mushroom hotpot, I devoured half the pot by myself. Petting the dog and sipping on the soup, I felt that life was truly worth living. No city noise, just the sound of the wind, the moonlight, and inner peace. Thank you to this guesthouse for giving me a truly relaxing and healing experience. Next time I come to Jiuzhaigou, I'm definitely staying here again!

An experience that exceeded all expectations! The hotel's location is perfect, incredibly close to the scenic area. They even provide a dedicated driver for morning drop-offs to the attraction, and if the driver is unavailable, they'll reimburse your taxi fare. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was warm, attentive, and always willing to help. The complimentary breakfast was also quite unique. Excellent value for money – if you're visiting Jiuzhaigou, this is definitely the place to stay! Already recommended it to my friends 👍

This hotel is perfect for travelers who aren't in a hurry to get to the valley. During peak hours, it can take over 30 minutes by taxi to and from the Jiuzhaigou Tourist Center. The hotel and rooms offer stunning views, located in the Huamei Shengdi town. Within walking distance, you'll find basic amenities like convenience stores, restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops. It's also easy to get a taxi to Zhongzha Valley. The room facilities are on par with what you'd expect from a five-star resort hotel. Overall, the service was generally mediocre. Two things, however, stood out as excellent: Firstly, a slightly older male staff member during check-in was incredibly enthusiastic. He noticed it was our first stay and gave us a detailed介绍 of child-friendly attractions nearby. Secondly, when our TV broke, two maintenance staff members worked diligently for a long time into the evening, eventually discovering the IP was down and replacing the TV – they worked very hard late at night. Additionally, the shuttle drivers within the hotel were very responsible, always offering rides if they saw us on the road. Other services were rather cold. After discovering the TV was broken, the front desk initially dismissed it as a signal issue. It took a second call before they sent maintenance. There was no butler contact throughout our stay, but oddly enough, we received a call asking for a good review after we checked out. During our stay, there was a celebrity filming, and a staff member actually blocked our way to our room, asking us to make way for the celebrity – it was baffling.

The hotel has a clean and cozy atmosphere overall. Its decor is simple and stylish, with a tidy and bright lobby featuring a very comfortable orange color scheme. The room cleaning was meticulous; there was no dust on the floors or windowsills. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep without any disturbances. The hot water came out quickly with good pressure, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The toiletries were of good quality, and the internet was stable and fast. The front desk staff, especially a young lady, provided very thoughtful service. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and she patiently and proactively answered questions about travel plans. The location is superb, with plenty of nearby restaurants and shopping areas, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and getting around. It offers excellent value for money and is perfect for both leisure travel and business trips!

So glad we chose this forest hotel; it really added a unique touch to our trip. It's located deep inside Zhongzhagou Valley, which is already stunning. If you're not in a rush to get to Jiuzhaigou, you could easily spend a few extra days here. There's even a hiking trail behind the hotel if you're into that. We were incredibly lucky and spotted wild rabbits on the lawn in the afternoon, evening, and early morning! The hotel also offers dining, and there are ******* restaurants in the village. However, you'll find more options down the mountain, which is only about a fifteen-minute drive away. We had to leave after breakfast to head to Jiuzhaigou, but we definitely could have stayed another day to explore the surrounding scenery.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! It definitely lives up to its 5A rating. The hotel isn't just one building, but rather a whole small area, a kind of complex. I was initially worried my room near the river would be noisy, but it wasn't an issue at all – even on the first floor, it was perfect. The beds even have electric blankets, which is a great touch for Jiuzhaigou. Breakfast was very extensive; I loved the beef noodles, and my partner said the chicken noodle soup was delicious too. Plus, we didn't even book breakfast when we made the reservation, but the butler gifted it to us! Getting to the scenic area was also super convenient; the shuttle bus stop is just about 100 meters walk from the hotel entrance, and it's only 3 yuan per person.

The overall design perfectly blends traditional ******* elements with modern minimalist aesthetics, creating a space that's rich in ethnic culture yet stylish and upscale. The lobby's ******* patterns, natural wood textures, and lighting layout are all incredibly beautiful. The corridors and window nooks are meticulously decorated, and the complimentary ******* clothing is perfect for photoshoots. The room interiors are exquisite and tasteful, with a sophisticated color palette. ******* totems and soft furnishings are used just right – not overly showy, but highly distinctive. The window views are expansive, and every corner of the guesthouse showcases a keen sense of aesthetics, preserving regional characteristics while meeting modern living habits. With its strong sense of style, this place is definitely the top choice for those who love taking photos and appreciate a good ambiance. Plus, the guesthouse even provides free shuttle service to the scenic area entrance!

The hostel is located right in the scenic Jiuzhaigou area, with a river flowing by its entrance. The owner mentioned that the river water comes directly from the mountains of Jiuzhaigou. I had originally booked a 6-bed dorm, but the owner kindly upgraded me to a 4-bed dorm for free. There are plenty of shops selling various items nearby, and dining options are also very convenient.
