Three major pitfalls with this hotel! First pitfall: I chose this hotel because it was a drop-off point for the shuttle bus, and considering I was traveling with a child and large luggage, it seemed like the priority. The official website and public account booking selected the hotel name as the drop-off point, but the actual stop was the Moonlight Bay parking lot, a 200-meter walk away. Crucially, the driver didn't announce the hotel name at the stop, and I almost missed it. I had to check the map and ask around to figure it out, then rushed to get off! Second pitfall: I booked my trip and flight over a month ago and kept an eye on hotel prices. I managed to book two nights (500 yuan per night, no breakfast) using points for partial cash redemption on two different platforms when prices were relatively low. Upon check-in, the front desk staff had a terrible attitude, looking at me with disdain and indifference, coldly telling me I’d have to reactivate my room card again tomorrow. After check-in, the staff hastily added that they had upgraded my room, which gave me an unsettling feeling I couldn’t quite explain. The butler said he could give me breakfast coupons and added me on WeChat, which turned out to be just a ploy to push show tickets. He even asked me for a five-star review. When he delivered things to the room, he 'kindly' reminded me that there were many mosquitoes and not to open the window. Later, when I opened the window, my hopes were shattered – the view wasn't mountains but a pile of miscellaneous equipment. Next to it was a parking lot. After a five or six-hour journey from Chengdu, my child was tired, so I didn't bother to change rooms. What was worse came later: at night, with the window open, there was a loud mechanical whirring sound and a foul smell from the vegetable patch downstairs. We were on the second floor and could see it clearly. When we closed the window, the air conditioning was very loud, and the exhaust fan was even louder (I have a recording). The curtains offered very poor blackout; with the downstairs equipment lights on, the room was bright all night. By six or seven in the morning, the windows were already bright (as shown in the picture), and by eight, it was blindingly bright, making it impossible to sleep. The breakfast was unappetizing, even worse than the four-star hotel we stayed at near the East Station. My child doesn't eat spicy food and only ate the fried rice. We had to rush to Jiuzhaigou at 8 AM, so there was no time to change hotels, which was frustrating. Thankfully, my child was unaware and still had a good time. This was a super bad experience that shattered my beautiful expectations for this stop. I advise friends from Guangzhou not to book this hotel, especially for study tours with children – it's neither cheap nor good! We've booked countless five-diamond hotels for study tours, and this is the worst. The hardware and service are severely below five-star standards! Third pitfall: On the day of check-in, I booked the earliest shuttle bus to the scenic area entrance for 8 AM the next morning. Early in the morning, before 8 AM, I went to queue up. The hotel staff kept calling for vehicles, but by 8:20 AM, there was still no bus. The staff apologized, saying there was a traffic jam, and suggested walking, which would be quicker – about 1.7 kilometers, a 15-minute walk. Many people in the queue were complaining bitterly; a five-star hotel making guests wait for a bus, with service that just didn't keep up. I had no choice but to walk with my child. I didn't see any traffic jams along the way. I sincerely recommend that if you're traveling with children, choose a hotel within one kilometer. The road here is very narrow, with four lanes for two-way traffic, and it gets really congested in the afternoon when leaving the scenic area. Walking is the most convenient, but the road is full of car exhaust. Try to choose a closer hotel so you can return to rest earlier after a tiring day. And try to choose a chain hotel, because chain hotels usually have free shuttle buses to pick up guests at the shuttle bus drop-off points and transport them to the scenic area. Their reputation and service are generally more reliable! I hope this negative review helps friends from Guangdong avoid this pitfall when they visit!

The environment is lovely; after the rain, the trees on the mountain were especially green, and the flowers at the hotel were also beautiful. The breakfast was excellent, and the butler service was particularly good. Highly recommended.

The hotel is in good overall condition. The beef noodles for breakfast were delicious, and the front desk staff were very friendly. The room slippers were super comfortable. The biggest highlight, however, was our butler, Haijun. We bothered him multiple times over several days to bring us takeout, and he delivered it promptly every time. He was always gentle and patient, providing meticulous and thorough service, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. Definitely worth coming back to.

Getting to the hotel was a breeze! We took a bus from Songpan Station to Moon Bay parking lot, and it was just a 50-meter walk from there. The location is super convenient with many restaurants nearby. We even got a complimentary afternoon tea for three and a free breakfast for the kids. The front desk staff, especially Haijun, was amazing! Always smiling, she helped us with our luggage to the room and was incredibly responsive and helpful with all our questions – truly going above and beyond. In the mornings, there's a shuttle bus for 4 yuan per person that takes you to the gully entrance. I'd definitely recommend taking it, as walking can be a bit far. After exploring, you can leisurely walk back and grab a meal along the way. If you're planning to catch a high-speed train by bus during the rainy season, I'd advise setting aside at least 3.5 hours.

I chose this five-star hotel at random for my trip to Jiuzhaigou and stayed for two nights. Both the facilities and service met five-star standards. The location is excellent, and the hotel offers a shuttle bus. Breakfast was incredibly varied, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Highly recommend!

Location: Super convenient, right next to Paradise Hotel, just a stone's throw from Jiuzhaigou Bus Moon Bay Parking Lot. Everything you need for dining, entertainment, and Tibetan-style makeovers is readily available. It's also very close to the scenic area's main entrance, and the hotel offers a shuttle bus for 4 CNY per person. Ambiance: Spacious and bright. My room wasn't upgraded, but if it had been to a deluxe room, it wouldn't have faced the street and the indoor garden view would have been even more beautiful. Facilities: There's a kids' play area (with a ball pit and slide). The windows are soundproof, so even being on the first floor facing the street, it wasn't noisy at all. Automatic curtains are a nice touch. Cleanliness: Spotless. Service: The butler service was excellent! They sent daily weather forecasts, proactively asked if I needed anything, helped arrange a taxi to Jiuhuang Airport, and answered all my questions. Very satisfied! Breakfast: Pretty good, a great mix of Chinese and Western options, everything you could want!

Environment: The hotel's overall environment is great, with an inner courtyard garden and a swimming pool, offering a quiet oasis in a bustling area. The surrounding commercial street is lively, making transportation and shopping very convenient. Service: The entire staff had a very good attitude. They even brought iodine and band-aids when my child got hurt. Highlights: The hotel's bistro is definitely worth recommending – the value for money is absolutely superb! I would recommend this hotel to other friends.
