Guest UserNine Peaks was one of the highlights of our trip to Jiuzhaigou. The homestay is surrounded by mountains, meadows, forests, villages, and grazing animals, with beautiful views from nearly every part of the property. At times, the scenery reminded us of Switzerland.
What stayed with us most was the hospitality. Every member of the team treated our family with remarkable warmth, and our two young children were made to feel completely at home. The care felt personal and sincere throughout our stay.
The meals were delicious, nourishing, and thoughtfully prepared. We also visited the family’s offsite restaurant, which offered a wonderful and authentic ******* experience through the food, setting, atmosphere, music, dances, and hospitality. While we were there, my phone ran out of battery and we were unable to contact the homestay. The owner, who is part of the same family that owns the homestay, personally drove us back and looked after us as though we were relatives.
The complimentary pickup and drop-off service to the scenic areas was also very helpful, especially while travelling with young children.
We will miss Nine Peaks and hope to return one day and strongly recommend it to families looking for beautiful scenery, excellent food, and genuinely caring hosts.

Hidden at the foot of the mountain, this healing Chinese-style B&B completely stole my heart! I stumbled upon this absolute gem during my trip, and it totally exceeded all expectations.
The perfect blend of a traditional Chinese courtyard and mountain scenery – I was awestruck the moment I walked in! It's a three-story, all-wood Chinese quadrangle with bright red lanterns hanging high, exuding a rich traditional charm. When the lights come on at night, the atmosphere is simply magical, making it incredibly photogenic.
The courtyard itself is a world apart. Bluestone paths connect lawns, streams, rockeries, and a pavilion. Sitting in the pavilion, feeling the mountain breeze, just makes you slow down and relax. Open the window, and you're greeted by rolling green hills. Waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the sunset paint the mountains golden in the evening – this kind of natural, relaxed vibe is something city hotels just can't offer.
🛏️ The room's comfort and attention to detail were exceptional, and I absolutely loved the design! A minimalist, natural wood style with warm lighting made it cozy yet sophisticated. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly; lying down instantly melted away travel fatigue. The rattan pendant lamp by the bed added so much ambiance, and they thoughtfully provided a projector, so watching movies in bed at night was pure bliss. (The pillows were incredibly comfortable!) The separate wet and dry bathroom was clean and tidy, with a smart toilet and new shower facilities. Toiletries were comprehensive. From the open clothes rack and blackout curtains to the small coffee table and sofa, every detail showed the owner's care. It felt as comfortable as being in my own home.
The owner's service was truly impeccable! From check-in to check-out, they were attentive throughout, answering every question and proactively recommending local food and sightseeing routes, making us feel completely at ease. The room was spotless, and amenities were promptly replenished – the attention to detail was top-notch.
This is definitely the most satisfying B&B I've stayed in recently! Whether you want to escape the city's hustle and bustle, enjoy a slow mountain life, or immerse yourself in the charm of a Chinese courtyard, this is the perfect choice. Comfortable rooms, stunning environment, warm service, and incredible value for money – I've already recommended it to all my friends, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Anonymous UserExcellent Location: Unlike hotels on the main street of Goukou, this guesthouse is tucked away slightly, making it very quiet and offering fantastic value for money. Yet, it's not at all inconvenient; a small side path leads directly to the main road in just a minute's walk. They helped me arrange a shared ride from the high-speed rail station and another for Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area the next day, making the whole journey smooth and pleasant. Before leaving on the third day, I visited the nearby Zhongcha Valley, both attractions being about a 10-minute taxi ride away.
Comfortable Room: I originally booked a twin room for the good deal, but since I was traveling alone, they upgraded me to a king-size bed. The room was very clean, spacious, and even offered subtle mountain views. Every morning, the first thing I did was check how the mountain scenery outside changed with the weather. The complimentary Jiuzhai spring water in the room was sweet and delicious!
Dining Amenities: Another huge plus is the on-site restaurant, which offers discounts for guests. As a solo traveler, my biggest fear is wanting to try many dishes but not being able to finish them. But since the restaurant was conveniently right next to my room, I immediately ordered the copper pot yak meat. I couldn't finish it all, so I packed it up to eat the next day. The Tibetan-style beef fried rice was very fragrant, and the walnut cake was also excellent. My absolute top recommendation is the yak roasted bun; the crust was masterfully done – crispy on the outside with a soft, bread-like interior. The filling of beef, onions, and black pepper was delicious, and again, it was so large I couldn't finish it and had to take it to go.

Guest UserThis hotel is located near Zhongchagou Horse Caravan Square, and the scenery is absolutely beautiful. When you're not visiting attractions, you can explore Zhongchagou or even go horseback riding – you definitely won't get bored. The staff are incredibly attentive and warm; they respond promptly to any needs or questions. Every morning, the hotel provides a dedicated shuttle service to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, and getting a taxi is also very convenient. Overall, my experience was fantastic and I'm very satisfied.

Guest UserWe stayed in a family room this time, and the hotel service was excellent. We received welcome fruits, a complimentary traditional costume experience, late check-out, and free late-night snacks. They even provided a shuttle to Jiuzhaigou's entrance. The hotel has a restaurant where you can enjoy dinner. The hygiene and environment were superb, and our butler, Xiao Ban, provided fantastic service, helping us with many issues. Highly recommended!

We booked this hotel after leaving Jiuzhaigou, as many closer hotels were already fully booked. We had to keep searching further away from Zangwang Square and the scenic area until we found this one.
We checked out the room before booking. It was a lovely family room with two beds; one was a bunk bed. The top bunk was designed like a small wooden playhouse, and the bottom was for sleeping. Our child was so excited they didn't want to leave.
There are a couple of drawbacks, depending on what you're looking for. Since the rooms are built close together, some don't have windows. Our particular room did have a window with some plants outside, but it mainly looked out onto a wall and greenery.
We visited during New Year's Day, and it was quite cold. This room didn't seem to have central heating. It took a long time to warm up the room using the air conditioner. This wouldn't be an issue in other seasons, but I hope there's a quicker way to heat the room when it's cold.

TonpaiWThe first glimpse I stepped in at this hotel impressed me, the location is very close to Jiuzhaigou entrance, and there are many restaurants and groceries nearby, absolutely convenient. Also, the room when i saw at first was relatively clean.
However, things started to get worse, the bathroom, if looked closer, there were no towels provided for feet nor hands, which means after you finished taking a shower, the floor is gonna get wet all over the places, the amenities were so-so, the flush and the shower were loose, they needed to be fixed properly. Moreover, they hanged the hair dryer bag without any hair dryer in it, what for?
The room was okay, not fantastic but not terrible.
In the morning, i have to get up so early because of the cars and buses pushing horns to each other, i don’t understand why many people here doing this. To me this is rude and harms others while they are sleeping.
The internet here is amazing at the first night, very quick and effective, but on the second day it was a dead lack.
Overalls, a budget hotel that surrounded by many convenience stores and restaurants, close to Jiuzhaigou, but also comes with noise-pollution. The interiors were not as good as in the pictures, will find another hotel instead.
