"The hotel smells great, and the rooms are spacious and bright. The staff are also very helpful. I'd recommend some good eats around the hotel: Lao Dongjiang Rice Noodles (the braised dish with two liang of meat and the crispy fried pork are amazing, you might want extra crispy pork!), Dazhong Dessert, Nuoxiang Yizhan, and Xiaocai Yidie (the fish slices, stir-fried sweet potato leaves, and brown sugar glutinous rice cake are delicious!). Also, don't miss 88 Niuchangsuan. I tried Renli, Qiufu, and Lao Dongjiang for Guilin rice noodles, and Lao Dongjiang was definitely the best. Their crispy pork is braised, and the noodle sauce is perfectly sour and savory. Qiufu was a bit spicier and fragrant, but it seemed to lack the crispy pork [crying emoji], and Renli was just so-so. Jiangjun Grilled Wings were pretty standard, just like the ones you'd find in any commercial street."
