"Extremely satisfied with this hotel during my Guilin trip! As soon as I arrived, staff were there to greet me and took care of my luggage, making for a smooth check-in. The room was absolutely beautiful and spacious, but the best part was the stunning view from the bed – waking up to the misty Guilin scenery was incredible. The hotel breakfast was also delicious and offered a great variety. We also had lunch at the Cloud Restaurant, which had direct lake views from the window, and the food was excellent. The service staff were incredibly attentive (in fact, all the hotel staff had outstanding service, making us feel right at home). We also tried the travel photography experience, which was definitely worth it!"

"This stay was extremely satisfying! Despite the large crowds during the May Day holiday, the hotel's overall cleanliness was exceptional; the entire room was spotless. The room was spacious and bright, with a subtle, pleasant fragrance upon entering. The natural light was excellent; I even woke up to sunrise! 🌅 The staff were also very friendly and attentive. It's close to the station and offers great value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. Highly recommended!"

GGuest UserThis was one of the largest rooms I've ever stayed in. The hot water pressure was fantastic, making showers and hair washing so comfortable. The breakfast spread in the morning was extensive, and they even had white fungus soup in the evenings. The lobby offered complimentary Luo Han Guo tea, fruits, snacks, and thoughtful amenities like facial masks and band-aids. It's the first hotel I've stayed at that provided laundry detergent and even laundry bags, which was incredibly considerate. The price was very reasonable, and the location was easy to find.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right near the Longtoushan Pier, where boats depart from Guilin to Yangshuo. From my room, I could see the Li River, and there's a rooftop platform for even better river views, framed by the distant mountains – it's incredibly picturesque and perfect for photos.
The room was spacious, quiet, and the bedding was comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. For business travelers, the laundry and fitness facilities on the fifth floor public area are very convenient.
Breakfast offers a good variety of Chinese and Western options, including delicious freshly prepared Guilin rice noodles, which are even better than those you find on the street.
The hotel staff were very service-oriented; the front desk provided a lot of useful information when I asked for travel tips.
Personally, I think the Lijiang Grand is a top choice in Yangshuo, considering its views, proximity to shopping, and overall convenience.

It's right on the main street, so you'll want to keep the door closed at night to block out the noise. The in-room facilities are quite new, and the toiletries provided are decent. However, some of the common areas, like the 'Yangshuo Eye' attraction, the swimming pool, and the kids' play area, are a bit dated and could use some renovation and cleaning. The staff were all very friendly, always greeting me and wishing me goodnight. The complimentary nightly dessert was a lovely and delicious touch, showing they genuinely care about their guests. They offer electric scooter rentals, but I'd suggest they tweak their wording a bit. When I rented one, the staff member said, 'This can only go 30km, it's 30 yuan, and you have to ride it back.' While their attitude was perfectly fine and not accusatory, a slightly softer approach would make guests feel even more comfortable.

Daily housekeeping kept everything spotless, and all the basic amenities were thoughtfully provided.
One of the highlights was the coffee shop conveniently located right downstairs—ideal for a morning pick-me-up or a relaxing afternoon break. But what truly made the stay special was the owner. She speaks fluent English, so communication was smooth and easy. As someone who doesn’t plan much in advance, I found her local guidance absolutely invaluable. She mapped out routes and recommended hidden gems that made my trip unforgettable.
She’s also a talented painter! The beautiful cards you’ll spot at the reception desk or in the bathroom are her own hand-drawn creations—such a lovely personal touch that adds character to the place.
If you’re a cat enthusiast, prepare to be delighted—they have a whole feline family that adds a warm, homey vibe to the property. 🐱
A minor note: the room’s proximity to the main road means it can get a bit noisy in the evenings or early mornings. Personally, it didn’t bother me much—after a full day riding the scooter I rented from them for just 30 RMB, I slept like a baby.
Also worth mentioning: this is the perfect spot for travelers who prefer peace and quiet over nightlife. It’s close enough to the action for convenience, but far enough to enjoy restful evenings.
Overall, this spot is a fantastic blend of comfort, convenience, and character. Highly recommended for laid-back travelers, art lovers, and cat fans alike!

Upon entering, you're greeted by a mountain-view pool. During the day, you can relax in the pool and admire the lush peaks and bamboo rafts. At night, the lights reflected in the water transform it into a starlit pool, perfect for photos and a lively atmosphere. The butler service is attentive and thoughtful; upon check-in, fresh fruit and welcome tea were immediately provided, and they were always available when called.
The guest rooms feature smart home technology throughout, allowing you to control appliances with your voice. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows mean you can enjoy stunning views of the peaks and the sunset glow right from your bed. The ground-floor mountain forest leisure area is surrounded by greenery, a peaceful spot to enjoy tea, read a book, and observe the natural scenery, spending a leisurely afternoon.
The rooftop cafe offers expansive views, perfect for enjoying coffee while overlooking the Yulong River's landscapes. In the morning, the buffet breakfast offers a wide selection of both meat and vegetarian options, as well as Chinese and Western dishes. GGuest UserTraveling with a baby during the Dragon Boat Festival was great, aside from the constant rain. The hotel upgraded our room for free, and their homemade craft beer was delicious. We had requested a crib in advance, and when we entered the room, we saw the pillow and blanket neatly folded inside – our baby loved it! The hotel's pool is a major highlight; the water temperature was just right, it was very clean, and there was no harsh chlorine smell, showing they really take care of it. Our baby had so much fun swimming for the first time! The restaurant's ambiance and food were good, though the prices were a bit high. They even offer room service for meals. When we left, they gave our baby a small toy. We'll definitely bring our little one back again if we get the chance!

I did a lot of research for this Yangshuo trip and finally chose Xishi Manor (Yulong River Ten-Mile Gallery Branch). Honestly, it exceeded my expectations.
📍 Location is truly unbeatable.
The hotel is about 150 meters east of Jima Pier. It's a three to five-minute walk to the pier, so you can sleep in and then head straight down to catch a bamboo raft on the Yulong River (the best section from Jima to Comprehensive Pier). You can rent a scooter right outside, and it's a 10-15 minute ride to the Ten-Mile Gallery and West Street. Guilin Romance Park is also very close. It offers flexible travel without being noisy.

I booked a mountain-view terrace king room. The floor-to-ceiling windows framed the distant mountains, clouds, and rice paddies perfectly. Waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the mist slowly clear while still in bed was an indescribable feeling. The room is newly renovated in a French minimalist style, featuring smart voice control for the entire room, a smart toilet, a heated towel rack, and a super-large projector. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly – the kind of comfort where you just fall asleep after a day of exploring.
💦 1000㎡ Infinity Pool + 3000㎡ Large Lawn = Never wanting to leave.
The pool faces the green mountains directly, and the water quality is excellent. The light is softest around 3-4 PM, making any pose look like a high-end French holiday photo. The large lawn is wonderfully soft. In the evening, sitting there and waiting for an 'orange sea' sunset 🌅, as the sunset glow enveloped the lawn, pool, and distant mountains in warm light – at that moment, I thought, ”This is how you should chill in Yangshuo.”
👩💼 Service and extra experiences add a lot of value.
• Free ethnic-style travel photography upon check-in (3 retouched photos). The photographer will take you to various spots by the pool, on the lawn, and in the courtyard, with a high success rate for great shots.
• Free afternoon tea daily at 3:00 PM, featuring handmade persimmon cakes with osmanthus tea. Sitting in the courtyard with the breeze is so therapeutic.
• Breakfast from 8-10 AM, with freshly cooked Guilin rice noodles and both Chinese and Western options.
• There's a children's play area downstairs, which is very convenient for families with kids.
• Free parking with charging stations, and pet-friendly ♡
Small tip: During peak season, it's advisable to confirm the check-in cleaning progress with the butler in advance. The pool can get a bit crowded in the afternoon; if you want to take photos with reflections, go between 9-10 AM in the morning.
Overall, Xishi Manor is not one of those 'looks good in photos but mediocre to stay in' influencer hotels. It's a resort hotel where the views, amenities, and service are all top-notch. If you want to slow down and not rush through attractions during your visit to Yangshuo – this is definitely the place for you. I'll be back next time! 🍊

The front desk and restaurant are on the ground floor. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even late-night snacks and fruit are incredibly abundant. The staff at the front desk are fantastic; they offer tour recommendations, and some of the tickets are even cheaper than buying them yourself. I'll definitely recommend this place to any friends or family visiting in the future!
