Guest UserThis hotel is absolutely fantastic! The room was very spacious, clean, and hygienic. We booked a balcony room with a great river view. The washing machine and dryer were super convenient, making it perfect for families traveling with kids. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about local attractions, offering excellent recommendations. Plus, booking tickets through the hotel was even cheaper than buying them online. The Chinese restaurant on the first floor and the Western restaurant on the fourth floor were both delicious. I'll definitely book this hotel again next time I visit Yangshuo.

Guest UserThe hygiene was absolutely top-notch, and the environment was beautiful and incredibly comfortable. The rooftop observation deck offers fantastic photo opportunities. It truly felt like home, very warm and cozy. Even on the second floor, the views were great. My kids especially loved the big bathtub, and the hotel was so thoughtful to even provide bath bombs. Breakfast was served in the mornings, afternoon tea in the afternoons, and sweet mung bean soup was available in the evenings – all complimentary and a really nice touch! On the first floor, there's a game room and a pool for kids to relax and play. But the absolute best part was the front desk staff, especially the ladies. They were super helpful, even assisting with booking taxis. Every time we came back from an outing, they'd ask if we were thirsty and reminded us to drink water, and we could take as much water as we wanted. Huge thanks to them! Oh, and the rice noodles for breakfast were absolutely delicious! 😋

Posted on Jun 22, 2026|Muyu Double Bed Room (Smart Toilet + Mini Fridge + Comfort Pillow + Zero Pressure Mattress)
Guest UserAfter staying at many guesthouses that typically have big signs and bright white lights inside, this one left a truly unique impression. It just had a simple, rustic wooden sign, and stepping inside, you're immediately enveloped in a warm feeling. Perhaps it was the rainy season, or the cozy indoor lighting, or the docile cats and dogs, or the late-night self-service laundry room, or the well-equipped rooms, or maybe the winding stone path out the back leading to a bustling area. What a good guesthouse truly needs is that sense of warmth and tranquility that seeps through, even amidst the hustle and bustle of city streets. Though located in a lively area, close the door and it's like you're gazing at distant mountains; open the window and you embrace the misty rain. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this wonderful guesthouse during this season, and I look forward to my next visit.

Guest UserThis is my go-to hotel whenever I'm traveling, it offers incredible value for money. The room was spotlessly clean, the bathroom had no unpleasant odors, and there was always hot water available. All the toiletries were well-stocked. The mattress was just the right firmness, ensuring a super refreshing night's sleep. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the Wi-Fi speed was consistently stable, great for streaming or working without any lag. It's conveniently located downstairs for easy access to transport, and the front desk staff are really welcoming and helpful – they sorted out any issues right away. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Whether it's for a business trip or a short getaway, staying here is worry-free and comfortable. The price is fantastic; you get a pleasant stay for a small cost. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town.

Guest UserI'm not a shill, and the hotel didn't ask me to write a good review. I'm a Trip.com Black Diamond member, and I average 50-70 nights in hotels each year. My good reviews are always written willingly, hahaha~
Alright, now that you've read my first sentence, you can check out my objective review. This trip was just my husband and I, no kids, but I'm really looking forward to bringing our son next time~ The hotel is incredibly kid-friendly~ They have a starry sky pool, a kids' play area, and the restaurant food is very clean. Right outside is the Shui'erdi Pier, which is where the bamboo raft drift for the Yulong River's essence section departs. The hotel's hardware, software, decor, and cleanliness are all five-star, absolutely nothing to complain about. The service attitude is incredibly good, truly up to five-star hotel standards, I'm not kidding, especially since I've stayed at Lux and can compare~ The rooftop cafe is perfect for photos~ The afternoon tea 🫖 is nice! Every time we returned to the hotel, the front desk would warmly greet us, asking if we were tired or where we'd been. The front desk小姐姐 (young lady) even gave me mosquito repellent spray, a small bag, and a souvenir, I was so touched. We slept wonderfully at night, the hotel's soundproofing is excellent. Compared to the Muyu we stayed at the day before, across from the Romance Park, for a similar price, Mengyuan is heavenly, and Muyu is on the ground. Muyu's 1000+ yuan room only offered a view of a massive construction site, which was truly speechless.
The hotel can help book tickets, and they're much cheaper. The hotel also offers electric scooter rentals 🛵 which is very convenient~ It's lovely to ride to West Street or Kang Kang Tangshui Shop for some dessert in the evening.
Yangshuo's beautiful scenery was made even more special by the hotel.
A perfect trip heals all stress and anxiety~ Thank you, Mengyuan, for giving my husband and me a perfect romantic getaway. We will definitely bring our child next time~ I'll recommend it to all my friends. ♥️
If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the breakfast; it could be slightly better.

YangJing318The room was spacious and the location was super convenient. It's really close to Ten-Mile Gallery and Guilin Romance Park. Plus, it's right by West Street but surprisingly quiet. You can easily rent an electric scooter to explore all of Yangshuo! Oh, and the plums at the hotel were delicious 😋. The front desk staff, both the guys and the girls, were incredibly helpful and friendly, giving great recommendations for sightseeing routes. Yangshuo's scenery is just breathtaking!

Juziweiqishui✌️Choosing this hotel for a relaxing stay in Yangshuo was such a pleasant surprise! 🥹 I felt like I was living inside a beautiful Li River landscape painting. From the comfort of my bed or by the window, I had direct views of the mountains and water ⛰️.
The decor is a comfortable, minimalist style – clean and aesthetically pleasing. The bedding was soft and cozy 🛏️, and the hygiene was impeccable, making for a truly reassuring stay.
There's also a fantastic viewing platform on the top floor, with a 'Sky Mirror' effect 🌌 where every photo turns out stunning without edits. Plus, there's a pool for splashing around, instantly elevating the vacation vibe ✨. For those with kids, there's even a children's play area, allowing parents to truly relax and unwind! 👍

This hotel may seem unassuming, but it surprisingly features a small pool and a viewing platform with great views of the surroundings. The platform even has a cute setup perfect for taking photos. The breakfast buffet was quite generous, and the first-floor restaurant offered a complimentary late-night dessert buffet. We stayed in a family room with a 1.5m single bed and a 1.8m double bed, and it was decorated very warmly. You can rent electric scooters for 30 or 40 yuan per day, just return them before 11 PM. The staff, from the front desk to the cleaning ladies, were all very enthusiastic, patient, and thoughtful.

Jess and familyUnbeatable location, but seriously disappointing when things went wrong
Let's start with the biggest win: this hotel is smack-dab in the middle of absolutely everything! You literally cannot ask for a better spot – walking distance to all the main attractions, restaurants, and transport. For location, it gets a perfect 10/10.
Now for the tough part. We had the really bad luck that the hotel experienced a major water supply issue during our stay. And I mean major – we couldn't use the toilet, take a shower, or even wash our hands. For any traveler, that's a complete nightmare and honestly unacceptable for a hotel stay.
To give them some credit, the hotel did try to smooth things over by offering our entire family free breakfast as compensation. While the gesture was nice, I have to be blunt: free breakfast just doesn't cut it when you can't perform basic daily necessities. For the level of inconvenience we endured – not being able to shower or flush the toilet – the hotel should have offered a much more appropriate solution, such as a partial refund for the affected night(s).
My verdict?
Book this place for the incredible location – you won't beat it. But my strong advice is: if anything major goes wrong during your stay, don't settle for a free meal. Push for proper financial compensation, because a few croissants and coffee simply don't make up for not having running water.
Great spot, but they really need to step up their customer service game when serious issues arise!
