The New Chinese-style room is clean and well-equipped. The rooftop restaurant offers a superb view, and it's within walking distance to Elephant Trunk Hill and the pedestrian street. Overall, it's nestled by the mountains and water, making it the top choice for scenic accommodation when visiting Guilin. The service was also excellent; when I had a fever and felt cold, the front desk thoughtfully brought me extra blankets and a heater."

"This stay was extremely satisfying! Despite the large crowds during the May Day holiday, the hotel's overall cleanliness was exceptional; the entire room was spotless. The room was spacious and bright, with a subtle, pleasant fragrance upon entering. The natural light was excellent; I even woke up to sunrise! 🌅 The staff were also very friendly and attentive. GGuest UserThis was one of the largest rooms I've ever stayed in. The hot water pressure was fantastic, making showers and hair washing so comfortable. The breakfast spread in the morning was extensive, and they even had white fungus soup in the evenings. The lobby offered complimentary Luo Han Guo tea, fruits, snacks, and thoughtful amenities like facial masks and band-aids. It's the first hotel I've stayed at that provided laundry detergent and even laundry bags, which was incredibly considerate. The price was very reasonable, and the location was easy to find.

AAnonymous UserTraveling from Canada, we enjoyed Guilin region a lot. But we liked Yangshuo so much we decided to comeback for another 4 nights. Percent Hotel is a hidden gem when it comes to Location, views, and food. Spend a little more money and upgrade your room to river view, you will not regret it. The cheeseburger and fries at the sky bar will make many North American pubs jealous. The pizza is also great. Double IPA beer is very good. Air conditioned place with incredible views.
The hotel service was the best compared to all the other hotels we stayed in. Staff arranged our requests for scooter rentals, transportation, event tickets, etc. very much recommended. Staff speaks some English and we navel had issues communicating or explaining what we needed.

TTangxiaomiaomiaoWe traveled for Children's Day, and the kids had a blast! We arrived quite late, but they still offered us a complimentary late-night sweet soup. To my surprise, they even upgraded our room, which made me so happy. The children absolutely loved playing in the kids' pool in the evening. The Sky Mirror on the rooftop is a fantastic spot for photos. The soundproofing was excellent, so we had a wonderful night's rest. We'll definitely be back next time!

First and foremost, the host, Rachel, who is super friendly, attentive and helpful. She speaks perfect English, can recommend good places to visit and good restaurant and prepare excellent coffee in the morning.
Then, the hotel.
Beautifully decorated with lots of amenities. Spacious, beautiful and super comfy rooms. Nothing is missing.
We were also super lucky and got a room upgrade with view over one of the mountains and a big bathtub.
They also rent electric bicycle and scooters at a very good price.
Finally, location is perfect. Just a few meters from the busy West Street, the river and the main road to visit around.
Special mention, to the enormous cat!
No doubt where we will be staying next time we are in Yangshuo.
Thank you so much for everything, we felt like at home.

Alright, now that you've read my first sentence, you can check out my objective review. This trip was just my husband and I, no kids, but I'm really looking forward to bringing our son next time~ The hotel is incredibly kid-friendly~ They have a starry sky pool, a kids' play area, and the restaurant food is very clean. Right outside is the Shui'erdi Pier, which is where the bamboo raft drift for the Yulong River's essence section departs. The hotel's hardware, software, decor, and cleanliness are all five-star, absolutely nothing to complain about. The service attitude is incredibly good, truly up to five-star hotel standards, I'm not kidding, especially since I've stayed at Lux and can compare~ The rooftop cafe is perfect for photos~ The afternoon tea 🫖 is nice! Every time we returned to the hotel, the front desk would warmly greet us, asking if we were tired or where we'd been. The front desk小姐姐 (young lady) even gave me mosquito repellent spray, a small bag, and a souvenir, I was so touched. We slept wonderfully at night, the hotel's soundproofing is excellent. Compared to the Muyu we stayed at the day before, across from the Romance Park, for a similar price, Mengyuan is heavenly, and Muyu is on the ground. Muyu's 1000+ yuan room only offered a view of a massive construction site, which was truly speechless.
The hotel can help book tickets, and they're much cheaper. The hotel also offers electric scooter rentals 🛵 which is very convenient~ It's lovely to ride to West Street or Kang Kang Tangshui Shop for some dessert in the evening.
Yangshuo's beautiful scenery was made even more special by the hotel.
A perfect trip heals all stress and anxiety~ Thank you, Mengyuan, for giving my husband and me a perfect romantic getaway. We will definitely bring our child next time~ I'll recommend it to all my friends. ♥️
If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the breakfast; it could be slightly better.

WWusuobunengdexiaoheigeI’d been eyeing this place since its Alila days, but only managed to visit after it was delisted. Post-delisting, it feels too much like an influencer hotspot, losing that luxury resort charm.
Our room was arranged too close to the road. The trucks speeding along the mountain road made closing the windows almost useless. What I found most unacceptable were the linens. I really want to ask, how many years have these linens been in use? Whether it was the pillows or the duvet, there was absolutely no sense of comfort or luxurious embrace you’d expect from a luxury resort. Just rough, heavy, suffocating fabrics, combined with the noisy traffic from the road, made for terrible sleep. I strongly suggest the hotel updates its linens, especially the pillows, as they are crucial, while also upgrading other hardware. The hotel is beautiful, but that's all it has going for it.
Reconstruction under a historical building gives it a new narrative, but from many angles, the operations feel more like hype than substance. After seeing the business trends in Yangshuo, it's hard for this place not to follow suit. I still recommend everyone to come and experience it, but when the only link a hotel has to luxury resort status is its high price, it's difficult for it to truly thrive.

You can leisurely watch the mountains and clouds from your bed. In the morning, the mountains are shrouded in mist, and in the evening, you're treated to breathtaking sunsets 🌄. The crimson glow bathes the staggered karst peaks, and the setting sun's afterglow reflects on the pool's surface, creating an incredibly atmospheric fusion of mountains, water, and twilight.
The oversized outdoor infinity pool, backed by green mountains, reflects the entire pastoral mountain range. With heart-shaped soaking pools and paddleboards readily available, you can snap stunning photos here at sunset, effortlessly capturing French Riviera-style vacation vibes.
Stroll and unwind on the expansive 3000㎡ lawn. In the evening, sit on a bench and watch the sunset disappear behind the hills – it's so relaxing and therapeutic. Downstairs, there's a kids' club, making it a hassle-free, one-stop solution for families with children. Kids will happily spend the entire day at the hotel and won't want to leave.
A complimentary ethnic-themed photoshoot is included with your stay, so there's no need to hire a photographer. They'll capture shots on the lawn, by the pool, with mountain views, and at sunset spots.
The Yulong River Jima Bamboo Rafting Pier is just a few steps away, and you can rent electric scooters right at the entrance, reaching West Street in a convenient 15 minutes for shopping and dining.

The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including a gym and a swimming pool. The bedding is soft, and if you're not used to the pillows, they even provide latex pillows. The toiletries are individually packaged mini bottles, which is a nice touch for peace of mind! The breakfast is plentiful and served semi-buffet style, with options like freshly made local specialty rice noodles. The public areas, such as the 'Sky Mirror' and the lobby, are great for relaxing, checking in, and taking photos. Parking is also convenient with a dedicated underground garage!

GGuest UserThis trip was with my parents, both elderly, touring Guangxi province, and Yangshuo was our second stop. Due to heavy rain the night before in Guilin (our first stop), the Li River was very muddy and offered little to see. However, this Alanduo Resort Hotel truly surprised me in a good way. Overall, I found it better than a hotel I stayed at next to Guihai Qinglan in July 2025. Here are the specifics:
**Facilities:** Quite comprehensive. A minor disappointment was that in our suite, two out of the four sets of toiletries were for children. I didn't specifically ask for adult toiletries, but I had communicated with the hotel via WeChat the previous night about my two 70-year-old parents traveling with me. So, it felt a little lacking in attentiveness or perhaps they forgot. I'm sure the hotel will be more considerate next time and notice these unspoken guest needs.
**Hygiene:** Generally good, nothing to complain about here, so I won't elaborate.
**Environment:** The rooftop viewing platform and the outdoor pool on the second floor are major highlights of the hotel. (Though it was raining the day we arrived in Yangshuo, so we couldn't enjoy the pool, which was a bit of a shame. I didn't have a strong desire to swim and hadn't packed a swimsuit, so I didn't inquire if the water had been changed after the rain.)
**Service:** The hotel's value-added services, such as complimentary fruit, afternoon tea, snacks, and late-night supper, were all quite good. It's a pity there was no coffee. (Speaking of coffee, I really want to complain – there are so few cafes or places offering coffee in Yangshuo! Even Yangshuo train station doesn't have a self-service coffee machine or a coffee shop. Most ridiculous, the only 3-4 convenience stores at the station don't even have instant coffee. There's a coffee stall in the parking lot outside the station; whether the coffee is drinkable is up to fate, and the owner wasn't there, so the neighboring vendor called her and she said she wasn't coming.) Additionally, there's a sign at the hotel front desk about discounts for attraction tickets and shows, which I confirmed to be legitimate.
Finally, I have to say, the hotel's customer service representative was a bit too honest. I only took 2-3 photos related to the hotel. I asked her for photos so I could write a review, and honestly, none of the ones she provided were usable. She probably doesn't understand what customers looking at reviews want to see. So, everyone, please make do with the picture of the hotel suite's master bedroom.
