"I chose a relatively new hotel on Trip.com. The location is super convenient; it's a 7-minute walk to Xiangshan Park and a 5-minute walk to ZhengYang Street and DongXiang Alley, making everything easily accessible on foot. I booked a family room, which was incredibly spacious. From the room's balcony, I had a beautiful lake view and could see the Twin Towers, which are even more stunning when lit up at night. Breakfast was also very satisfying. The hotel provided a dedicated butler service upon check-in, who sent a detailed guide covering dining, entertainment, and activities. This saved me a lot of time I would have spent researching on XiaoHongShu. Upon arrival, staff members helped open car doors and handle luggage. They also assisted with opening car doors when we took a taxi. The service was excellent. Finally, upon check-out, the front desk attendant gave us a souvenir and helped us into our car. It was a very comfortable stay for two days. Extremely satisfied!"

"This store is really worth collecting! High quality and super price! The room was clean and the sanitation was nothing to say. Every corner was full of the smell of sunshine. It was particularly refreshing. The hygiene was very good. There was no smell at all. The space was large enough. The whole person was very relaxed as soon as he entered the door. The location of the hotel is also very convenient, it is very easy to find on the roadside, the front desk lady check-in is professional and fast and polite, and the check-in experience is superb. The scenery outside the window is also very beautiful, you can also store your luggage when you check out, parking is also convenient, giving people a good mood for a whole day. GGuest UserThis was one of the largest rooms I've ever stayed in. The hot water pressure was fantastic, making showers and hair washing so comfortable. The breakfast spread in the morning was extensive, and they even had white fungus soup in the evenings. The lobby offered complimentary Luo Han Guo tea, fruits, snacks, and thoughtful amenities like facial masks and band-aids. It's the first hotel I've stayed at that provided laundry detergent and even laundry bags, which was incredibly considerate. The price was very reasonable, and the location was easy to find.

YYouxiandeyunThe hotel's location right by the Li River is quite peaceful, which I prefer over the noisy West Street area since I'm a light sleeper. I really appreciate that the front desk upgraded my room type. It's not far from West Street pedestrian street either, offering a quiet escape while still being convenient, almost like being on a backstreet in the countryside. The hotel also has its own restaurant where I ate both my meals; the food was delicious and good value for money, plus guests get a 10% discount. After dinner, a stroll along the river is lovely and relaxing, with locals also out for walks. You can get some great photos of the river and mountain views from the hotel's rooftop. They also offer self-service laundry and drying, which is super handy given how rainy and humid the weather can be here. All the staff, including housekeeping and restaurant servers, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

It's right on the main street, so you'll want to keep the door closed at night to block out the noise. The in-room facilities are quite new, and the toiletries provided are decent. However, some of the common areas, like the 'Yangshuo Eye' attraction, the swimming pool, and the kids' play area, are a bit dated and could use some renovation and cleaning. The staff were all very friendly, always greeting me and wishing me goodnight. The complimentary nightly dessert was a lovely and delicious touch, showing they genuinely care about their guests. They offer electric scooter rentals, but I'd suggest they tweak their wording a bit. When I rented one, the staff member said, 'This can only go 30km, it's 30 yuan, and you have to ride it back.' While their attitude was perfectly fine and not accusatory, a slightly softer approach would make guests feel even more comfortable.

Daily housekeeping kept everything spotless, and all the basic amenities were thoughtfully provided.
One of the highlights was the coffee shop conveniently located right downstairs—ideal for a morning pick-me-up or a relaxing afternoon break. But what truly made the stay special was the owner. She speaks fluent English, so communication was smooth and easy. As someone who doesn’t plan much in advance, I found her local guidance absolutely invaluable. She mapped out routes and recommended hidden gems that made my trip unforgettable.
She’s also a talented painter! The beautiful cards you’ll spot at the reception desk or in the bathroom are her own hand-drawn creations—such a lovely personal touch that adds character to the place.
If you’re a cat enthusiast, prepare to be delighted—they have a whole feline family that adds a warm, homey vibe to the property. 🐱
A minor note: the room’s proximity to the main road means it can get a bit noisy in the evenings or early mornings. Personally, it didn’t bother me much—after a full day riding the scooter I rented from them for just 30 RMB, I slept like a baby.
Also worth mentioning: this is the perfect spot for travelers who prefer peace and quiet over nightlife. It’s close enough to the action for convenience, but far enough to enjoy restful evenings.
Overall, this spot is a fantastic blend of comfort, convenience, and character. Highly recommended for laid-back travelers, art lovers, and cat fans alike!

Alright, now that you've read my first sentence, you can check out my objective review. This trip was just my husband and I, no kids, but I'm really looking forward to bringing our son next time~ The hotel is incredibly kid-friendly~ They have a starry sky pool, a kids' play area, and the restaurant food is very clean. Right outside is the Shui'erdi Pier, which is where the bamboo raft drift for the Yulong River's essence section departs. The hotel's hardware, software, decor, and cleanliness are all five-star, absolutely nothing to complain about. The service attitude is incredibly good, truly up to five-star hotel standards, I'm not kidding, especially since I've stayed at Lux and can compare~ The rooftop cafe is perfect for photos~ The afternoon tea 🫖 is nice! Every time we returned to the hotel, the front desk would warmly greet us, asking if we were tired or where we'd been. The front desk小姐姐 (young lady) even gave me mosquito repellent spray, a small bag, and a souvenir, I was so touched. We slept wonderfully at night, the hotel's soundproofing is excellent. Compared to the Muyu we stayed at the day before, across from the Romance Park, for a similar price, Mengyuan is heavenly, and Muyu is on the ground. Muyu's 1000+ yuan room only offered a view of a massive construction site, which was truly speechless.
The hotel can help book tickets, and they're much cheaper. The hotel also offers electric scooter rentals 🛵 which is very convenient~ It's lovely to ride to West Street or Kang Kang Tangshui Shop for some dessert in the evening.
Yangshuo's beautiful scenery was made even more special by the hotel.
A perfect trip heals all stress and anxiety~ Thank you, Mengyuan, for giving my husband and me a perfect romantic getaway. We will definitely bring our child next time~ I'll recommend it to all my friends. ♥️
If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the breakfast; it could be slightly better.

They offer a complimentary scenic photo shoot experience and a private viewing platform that captures the full beauty of the sunrise, so you don't need to go elsewhere for photo ops. The service team is incredibly responsive and attentive to every request. The room facilities are fully equipped, and upon checkout, they even give you a local specialty souvenir. I did a lot of research for this Yangshuo trip and finally chose Xishi Manor (Yulong River Ten-Mile Gallery Branch). Honestly, it exceeded my expectations.
📍 Location is truly unbeatable.
The hotel is about 150 meters east of Jima Pier. It's a three to five-minute walk to the pier, so you can sleep in and then head straight down to catch a bamboo raft on the Yulong River (the best section from Jima to Comprehensive Pier). You can rent a scooter right outside, and it's a 10-15 minute ride to the Ten-Mile Gallery and West Street. Guilin Romance Park is also very close. It offers flexible travel without being noisy.

I booked a mountain-view terrace king room. The floor-to-ceiling windows framed the distant mountains, clouds, and rice paddies perfectly. Waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the mist slowly clear while still in bed was an indescribable feeling. The room is newly renovated in a French minimalist style, featuring smart voice control for the entire room, a smart toilet, a heated towel rack, and a super-large projector. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly – the kind of comfort where you just fall asleep after a day of exploring.
💦 1000㎡ Infinity Pool + 3000㎡ Large Lawn = Never wanting to leave.
The pool faces the green mountains directly, and the water quality is excellent. The light is softest around 3-4 PM, making any pose look like a high-end French holiday photo. The large lawn is wonderfully soft. In the evening, sitting there and waiting for an 'orange sea' sunset 🌅, as the sunset glow enveloped the lawn, pool, and distant mountains in warm light – at that moment, I thought, ”This is how you should chill in Yangshuo.”
👩💼 Service and extra experiences add a lot of value.
• Free ethnic-style travel photography upon check-in (3 retouched photos). The photographer will take you to various spots by the pool, on the lawn, and in the courtyard, with a high success rate for great shots.
• Free afternoon tea daily at 3:00 PM, featuring handmade persimmon cakes with osmanthus tea. Sitting in the courtyard with the breeze is so therapeutic.
• Breakfast from 8-10 AM, with freshly cooked Guilin rice noodles and both Chinese and Western options.
• There's a children's play area downstairs, which is very convenient for families with kids.
• Free parking with charging stations, and pet-friendly ♡
Small tip: During peak season, it's advisable to confirm the check-in cleaning progress with the butler in advance. The pool can get a bit crowded in the afternoon; if you want to take photos with reflections, go between 9-10 AM in the morning.
Overall, Xishi Manor is not one of those 'looks good in photos but mediocre to stay in' influencer hotels. It's a resort hotel where the views, amenities, and service are all top-notch. If you want to slow down and not rush through attractions during your visit to Yangshuo – this is definitely the place for you. I'll be back next time! 🍊

There's a beautiful rooftop viewing deck on the eighth floor, which is especially stunning for photos in the evening. The breakfast is abundant and served until 11 AM, which is a blessing for late sleepers like us. The hotel also has many facilities for entertainment, such as a kids' play area, Ludo, and Gobang. It's really enjoyable to stay in and play a board game when you don't feel like going out. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.
