Spa Hotels in Guilin

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guilin. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They regularly checked if we needed anything and made us feel truly valued throughout our stay. The breakfast was extensive, with a great variety of fresh, high-quality food to choose from every morning. One of the highlights was the spa. We enjoyed a traditional Thai massage on two consecutive days because it was simply that good! We were also pleasantly surprised by the hotel’s laundry service. The lovely lady who took care of our laundry did an amazing job, and everything was perfectly clean, fresh, and dry the very next day. Her kindness and dedication really stood out. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so comfortable and memorable. Greetings from the Netherlands!

The hotel's location right by the Li River is quite peaceful, which I prefer over the noisy West Street area since I'm a light sleeper. I really appreciate that the front desk upgraded my room type. It's not far from West Street pedestrian street either, offering a quiet escape while still being convenient, almost like being on a backstreet in the countryside. The hotel also has its own restaurant where I ate both my meals; the food was delicious and good value for money, plus guests get a 10% discount. After dinner, a stroll along the river is lovely and relaxing, with locals also out for walks. You can get some great photos of the river and mountain views from the hotel's rooftop. They also offer self-service laundry and drying, which is super handy given how rainy and humid the weather can be here. All the staff, including housekeeping and restaurant servers, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The hygiene was absolutely top-notch, and the environment was beautiful and incredibly comfortable. The rooftop observation deck offers fantastic photo opportunities. It truly felt like home, very warm and cozy. Even on the second floor, the views were great. My kids especially loved the big bathtub, and the hotel was so thoughtful to even provide bath bombs. Breakfast was served in the mornings, afternoon tea in the afternoons, and sweet mung bean soup was available in the evenings – all complimentary and a really nice touch! On the first floor, there's a game room and a pool for kids to relax and play. But the absolute best part was the front desk staff, especially the ladies. They were super helpful, even assisting with booking taxis. Every time we came back from an outing, they'd ask if we were thirsty and reminded us to drink water, and we could take as much water as we wanted. Huge thanks to them! Oh, and the rice noodles for breakfast were absolutely delicious! 😋

I was extremely satisfied with my stay. The facilities and service were excellent. The room was clean, tidy, and spotless, and the environment was also very good. The hotel itself is spacious, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The front desk staff were very thoughtful and attentive, and the rooms they assigned were all great. The check-in staff were also very considerate, even offering tea upon arrival. It's truly great value for money. Even with the rain, you can enjoy a misty, atmospheric feeling. Sugar House was one of the highlights of our trip to China. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen somewhere special. The hotel is beautifully designed, blending contemporary luxury with its historic surroundings in a way that feels both unique and peaceful. Our room was spacious, stylish and extremely comfortable, with stunning views over the karst landscape. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring Yangshuo. The food was outstanding throughout our stay. Breakfast offered a great selection of both Chinese and Western options, and every meal we had at the hotel restaurant was beautifully prepared using excellent local ingredients. Everything was consistently excellent and a real highlight of our stay. What really elevated our experience, however, was the exceptional service. Every member of staff was warm, welcoming and genuinely eager to help. They assisted us in arranging transport and offered excellent recommendations for exploring the surrounding area, making everything effortless. The location was perfect for us—peaceful and secluded, yet within easy reach of Yangshuo’s incredible scenery. We spent the day rafting on the Yulong River, visiting Fuli Bridge, Moon Hill and Xingping, before returning to relax by the beautiful riverside pool each evening. It was the ideal balance of adventure and tranquillity. Sugar House is much more than a luxury hotel; it is a destination in its own right. We left wishing we had booked an extra night and would not hesitate to return. It is a truly exceptional place that we will remember for a very long time.

The room was large and spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a mountain view as soon as you open the curtains. They even upgraded us for free to a twin-bed family room. The breakfast was delicious, and the evening dessert drink was good too. Parking was convenient, with a huge free parking lot right at the entrance! I'll definitely stay here again next time.

Such a satisfying stay in Yangshuo! It's within walking distance to West Street, and relatively close to the Ten-Mile Gallery and Guilin Romance Park, making it super convenient for taxis, self-driving, or rental cars. The room was very spacious and stylish, with a balcony directly overlooking the beautiful river and mountain views. The bedding was comfortable, and everything was clean. The hotel also has a 'Sky Mirror' viewing platform on the 9th floor, which is fantastic for photos! Hotel facilities include a restaurant, gym, outdoor pool, and a kids' play area, making it perfect for family trips. The breakfast offers a wide variety of Chinese and Western options, with the Guilin rice noodles and wontons being particularly good. We also enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea with friends!

The room was decent, clean, and well-equipped, even though it had a slightly older style. They even provided a free extra bed. The environment was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning garden featuring peacocks and a small zoo. Unfortunately, it rained heavily during our visit, so we couldn't use the outdoor children's facilities. It was a shame that the indoor playground was also unavailable. The pool was fantastic – perfectly heated and very clean. My only minor complaint is that inner tubes had to be rented or purchased. But the absolute highlight was the breakfast! It was incredible, truly amazing, and the service was impeccable. A special shout-out to the tall, slender manager in the black uniform – I apologize for not catching your name. Breakfast definitely deserves a super-duper five stars! Room service was a bit on the pricey side. The location was quite good, with nice views of the mountains in the distance.

This hotel may seem unassuming, but it surprisingly features a small pool and a viewing platform with great views of the surroundings. The platform even has a cute setup perfect for taking photos. The breakfast buffet was quite generous, and the first-floor restaurant offered a complimentary late-night dessert buffet. We stayed in a family room with a 1.5m single bed and a 1.8m double bed, and it was decorated very warmly. You can rent electric scooters for 30 or 40 yuan per day, just return them before 11 PM. The staff, from the front desk to the cleaning ladies, were all very enthusiastic, patient, and thoughtful.
