I had a great time staying at this hotel! Everything feels brand new and super high-tech — they even provide an electric toothbrush, which was such a nice touch. You can control the aircon and TV with your voice, and the whole room setup feels smooth and modern.
I booked a suite with a peaceful, green view. Some trees block part of the river, but I personally liked the added privacy and nature vibes. For my parents, I chose a 270-degree view room — it offers a much clearer view of the Li River. The room is slightly smaller than the suite, but the view is absolutely worth it.
Before staying here, I actually stayed at a hotel near Elephant Trunk Hill (象鼻山). That area was super busy and noisy, especially during the holidays. Compared to that, this hotel is on the quieter side of the river and feels much more relaxing. There’s also a beautiful park right next to the hotel, which is great for morning or evening walks.
The location is still convenient — you can walk to sightseeing spots easily. Plus, there are plenty of food options nearby, and delivery is super easy.
What really made the stay memorable was the service. I’ve lived in China for three years, and this was honestly the best hotel service I’ve ever received. Everyone — from the front desk to the canteen to housekeeping — was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
Only minor downside: parking is limited. If you’re driving during a holiday, you might have to look around for a spot.
If you’re after comfort, smart tech, and warm, genuine hospitality — this is the place to stay!

It was great. The staff were super friendly, accommodating and willing to help. The room was clean and very comfortable. This was my first time traveling solo, and I was very nervous about the language barrier. However, some of the staff could communicate in English, and some were ready with their translators to assist. They made a lot of effort in terms of communication. Thank you so much, I really enjoyed my stay [Joyful]…I will definitely stay here again

We loved this hotel! The service is excellent, the staff team is trying to make your stay comfortable. You won’t miss anything here. They even have a area where the kids can play and feed with rabbits. The room in which we stayed is spacious, clean and nice decorated. The breakfast is good, there are many choices. Hotel is at walking distance from the elephant hill trunk and two rivers and four lakes. Reed flute cave is approx. 15 min drive from hotel. Will come back here again!

We stayed here for 4 nights with as a family of 5 (two rooms, one of which is a room with an extra bed).
I’ve written a much longer review for our other booking, but in gist, highly recommend! The services was impeccable and the view of the pagoda was lovely from the room. It was also really modern and the number of freebies from woodblock printing to foot massage and more really sweetened the deal. You could tell they also really cared about service - the guest relation manager even asked us during our buffet breakfast if we had any feedback for them! It especially helped that the buffet breakfast was really good, as well as the hotel restaurant

The bed was very comfortable and the view was gorgeous. Breakfast was stellar and definitely worth eating every day. I will say the staff was a little overbearing when you come in every day. It got to be a bit much when I was just trying to get to my room and they kept asking me questions. Like are you checking in today? Would you like a spa? And I would have to say no it’s my second day here. Really don’t need that much attention every time I come in.  Also please don’t ask for five star reviews upon check out. It’s really a turn off and makes me second-guess the whole reviewing process when the hotel is asking you to give them five stars when a proper assessment is always beneficial to both the hotel and guests.

The staffs there were so friendly, and the hotel breakfast was nice. Will definitely book this hotel if i ever come to guilin again. Love the hotel’s room too, especially the toilet and they even gave us bath bomb and bath salt after requesting.

I went to try the spa (aromatherapy package), was expecting a relaxing massage but I think the masseur lacks the skills. She use brute force and continously rub on the same spot over and over. I had red bruises all over my back. Had to keep reminding her to be more gentle, I had more aches instead of feeling relaxed.

I stayed in three hotels during the May Day holiday, and this one was the best. The environment and service were very good. The proprietress and the sisters at the front desk were very gentle. Although the price is a bit high during the May Day holiday, the price increase is the smallest when compared to the usual price. Other hotels are 2-3 times higher. The trip to Guilin is not satisfactory, but this hotel gives me a little comfort 😂

JJolyn D.The hotel was very clean with spacious, modern rooms looking out to the picturesque 10 Miles Gallery. But what stood out was the impeccably attentive service. The staff would make sure no wish is left out. Felt very well looked after and would definitely highly recommens this hotel. It is well situated and a bit away from the noisy town center but close enough to all attractions.

EearlgreykosongRoom was very clean, and toilet and shower were separate. Smoking was apparently permitted in rooms despite my request for a non-smoking room, but there was no smoke smell in the room and it was well ventilated with the attached balcony which faced the river and had pretty views. I had issues with the electricity tripping, but the front desk resolved this very quickly by giving me a card specifically for the power outlet in my room. The hotel had washers and dryers for clothes free to use for all guests and even an area with hangers and poles to air dry your laundry, but the time I was there, there were many insects at night (the hotel did put a warning sign at the door). The laundry also apparently closes at 11pm but I did not notice this until I was done with my laundry at 1am. The caretaker who did the evening rounds also did not chase me away and let me use the area until I completed my laundry.
The hotel was located near the Longtoushan pier where the Li River Cruises end and disembark. It’s supposedly a 3-5-min walk from the pier to the hotel, but the area tends to be very crowded as all the cruises tend to arrive together (~1.30-2pm). The stretch of pavement from the pier to the street is also very bumpy and not luggage-friendly, but you may contact the hotel to fetch you with a buggy but they tend to be too busy to accommodate at that time too. Apart from this timing, the street is generally very quiet. If walking at night, i would recommend bringing a torch light as the street is very dark. It’s also a 10-15min walk away from Xijie (west street) where there are many food options and souvenirs. The hotel has an attached cafe and restaurant too if you just want to chill in the afternoon. It’s a little pricey for this area but overall a good and comfortable stay! The rooftop also has very pretty views of the mountains and the river, and a great place for some quiet time in the morning!

DDejan PleterskiWe came to Guilin by train and we had a free pick-up from train station to the hotel. Xiaoming greeted us with fresh fruits and tea, we came an hour or so earlier but that was no problem. The room was spacious and beautiful with sitting area for drinking tea by the all glass wall/windows. Xiaoming is very helpful and kind person, he lets you have an e-scooter for free to go to the city, Reed flute cave or wherever you want. The Reed flute cave is 20 minutes walk from the hotel and the hotel is like a small village of accomodarion villas outside of the Guilin but close by car or e-scooter. The breakfast is very tasty with chinese and western style cuisine. They offer tours around Guilin like Li river cruise, Longji rice terraces tour or Yangshuo river rafting among others. We took two tours for each day and our guide/driver was Qin who is actually a great guy. He showed us around and was very patient with us especially when we went hiking on a Longji rice terraces. Guilin and surroundig area are the most beautiful we have seen in China so far. I will look forward to return to this place and experience again the hospitality of Xiaoming and hang around with our tour guide Qin.

It is a full 1 kilometer from the villa to the gate. It can be said that the winding path leads to a secluded place. As soon as you enter the hotel, you will feel a different world! The villa is very large, the service is also very good, and it is very quiet. The villa is equipped with a 10-meter long swimming pool, and the water is also very clean! Strong privacy, the best accommodation choice for going to Yangshuo!

RRosh12345Really nice relaxing stay! Everyone was really nice, Sarah was a really nice concierge and helped with activities and all the bar staff/ restaurant staff were particularly good! Shout out to Tom and his bar team for some really nice cocktails. Perfect stay to relax from hiking or just to enjoy the amenities, the modern retro architecture is so great to walk around and the private area by the river is nice to get away from the hustle and bustle !

AAnonymous UserAn excellent choice for your stay in Yangshuo. The location is very central, but no so that it is noisy or bothersome. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the vicinity. The facilities are modern, well maintained and clean, the rooms are smart and have many amenities like air fresheners, earplugs, extra charging sockets. Beds are very comfortable and the daily cleaning is done well. Very stylish place, very comfortable. highly reccommend. Breakfast is also varied and nutritious.

One of the standout features of my stay was the butler WeChat service, Chad, in particular, was wonderful! He was incredibly responsive and quick to assist with any request I had. The hotel is right by the Lijiang River. Standing on the balcony, you can enjoy the scenery of the Lijiang River. The architectural style of the hotel is unique. The decoration in the room is elegant, making people feel a warm and peaceful atmosphere.
The service staff of the hotel are extremely warm and friendly. From check-in to check-out, every link makes me feel at home. In particular, the reception staff at the front desk are not only considerate in service but also very patiently answered all my questions.
The hotel's facilities are very complete, with facilities such as a gym, swimming pool, and SPA, allowing me to maintain health and vitality even during my trip. I also participated in some special experience activities. For example, the SPA project reserved at the hotel made me completely relax.
In general, this stay experience in Yangshuo, Guilin is extremely wonderful!

She went above and beyond to make our stay special, especially as we were celebrating my wife's birthday. The thoughtful room decorations and the delicious complimentary cake were a wonderful surprise. Luna's insightful recommendations for local attractions were also invaluable, allowing us to discover hidden gems in the city.
The hotel's well-maintained gym was another highlight of our stay. The state-of-the-art equipment and serene ambiance provided the perfect setting for a rejuvenating workout.

GGuest UserVery good. Location is superb. Central to everything. Despite a bit old but well maintained. They have a very good indoor big swimming pool and a gym. Hotel is huge and they have 3 elevators which is working well. I am grateful that to choose this hotel than other new hotels. We dint use their wifi so no comment about it. Thank you Lijiang Waterfall Hotel.
