The environment here is fantastic, with fresh air and a very clean, neat, and elegant atmosphere. It feels incredibly refreshing. The facilities are comprehensive; they have everything you could need, including even an ironing machine, which is great! The service is very enthusiastic, and the young lady who is the manager at the front desk was very thoughtful. She gave us a travel guide when we checked in and explained the hotel's facilities in detail.

RrubyTransportation: Taxis are very convenient, close to Xiatang Pier and other attractions. There are several famous spots within 1-2 kilometers that you can walk to, like Yichi Daotian Coffee and Murakami Tree Coffee.
Hygiene: The owner is very dedicated, and the hygiene is excellent. There are no strange smells, and the bedding is very clean, making for a worry-free stay.
Environment: We booked a family suite, which can meet the needs of different family members. Those who snore can have their own space. The room is spacious, and the price is not expensive, offering great value for money.
Facilities: Each room has a table and chairs, perfect for enjoying tea, a drink, and good conversation. It's very pleasant.
Service: There's a bar on the first-floor lobby where you can sit and have tea, or pet the dog, whose name is 'Facai' (meaning 'get rich'). Petting Facai means we all get rich! 😝 The hotel also helps book short trips and show tickets at discounted prices.
In short, we felt right at home, and we'll definitely stay at Chuxin again next time we're in Yangshuo!

The butler and front desk staff were very warm and kind. The hotel is located right by the Yulong River, next to the Big Banyan Tree scenic area. The scenery is beautiful.

JJiaWei13Guilin was my last stop. Coming from a small town to a bustling Guilin, even during the off-season, all the attractions were still crowded. The hotel's food and facilities are very complete, making it great for family trips (because it has playground facilities that kids love). Plus, they offer freshly ground coffee at breakfast, which is definitely worth mentioning. The room amenities are all well-equipped, it's just that the pillows were a bit too soft, not as ideal for sleep as I'd hoped, but still acceptable.

YYumimamaailiuwaThis hotel is perfect for family trips with kids; if you're visiting Guilin with children, you absolutely shouldn't miss it.
**Location**: Conveniently located in Guilin city center, just two or three kilometers from Guilin Station—a few minutes by taxi. It's also only about 1 kilometer from Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area and Zhengyang Road Pedestrian Street.
**Facilities**: We stayed on the family-themed floor with our kids. The room was spacious and featured bunk beds with a slide, a kids' table, a small tent, a rocking horse, and a large bathtub—perfect for soaking away the day's fatigue. There's also a kids' play area in the hallway, which was a huge hit; our child could play there all day and didn't want to leave!
**Breakfast**: Breakfast is served on the 9th floor. It's extensive, offering Guilin rice noodles, mini wontons, Guilin oil tea, and a wide variety of other dishes—everything you could wish for.
**Service**: The front desk staff provided excellent service, helping us with our luggage. They even assisted with laundry, washing and drying our clothes in the washing machine and then delivering them back to our room. You don't have to worry about a thing when you stay here.
**Environment**: The 9th floor has a pool and an observation deck that's great for photos. There's a large frame that makes every shot look like a masterpiece of a thousand miles of rivers and mountains.
They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Guilin.

TTio0We had a small hiccup during check-in, but the front desk staff quickly and efficiently resolved it, preventing a negative experience. A special shout-out to the three gentlemen at the front desk – they were incredibly nice!
The overall vibe is more like a guesthouse, but with a higher standard of management. The bedding and pillows are excellent quality, and all the amenities are well-stocked. The breakfast area has large floor-to-ceiling windows, and I highly recommend the rice noodles.
Located at the very back of the guesthouse cluster, there are no obstructions to the view. I recommend the ground-floor courtyard – it's very pleasant. There's also a parking lot with slow charging, making it EV-friendly.
They offer travel photography and handicraft activities, which are great for unwinding. The handicraft instructor was very patient, and both adults and children can participate.
There are farm-to-table restaurants within walking distance, but they are overpriced and the food is mediocre. I suggest driving to the Pink Panther area for meals, which is about a 10-minute drive.

AAnonymous UserLocation isWe stayed 2 nights at Bo Yangshuo Hotel. The location is very convenient, right at the start/end of West Street (西街), making it easy to walk around while still being slightly away from the noise.
We booked a family room with a bunk bed, which was comfortable and suitable for families. Overall, everything was good and well-maintained.
One downside worth highlighting is that the toilet glass partition has been removed, so sounds from flushing, hand washing, and showering are quite loud. The bed head is located just above the toilet area, so it can be disturbing at night. Also, when using the bathtub, be careful as water may splash onto the bed area.
Aside from this issue, our stay was pleasant and the location is a big plus, especially for first-time visitors to Yangshuo.

I just walked in through the hotel's side entrance without a reservation, it took one second, absolutely amazing! This hotel, Shuiyue Yixiangshan Courtyard Hotel, is right next to the Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area entrance. I arrived in Guilin late at night, tired from the flight, and a staff member immediately helped me with my luggage, which really made a great first impression of Guilin! The room was also very grand with a large bathtub, spacious and clean. Its proximity to the scenic area is so convenient!

During our stay at the end of April with maximum temperatures above 30°C there was no pool to cool off, and the staff told us it was because it was still too early in the year. This was very disappointing as having a pool was the main reason for our choice of hotel, so I'd say this hotel didn't meet our expectations and they should state this clearly on Trip to avoid future confusion of guests. Other things to improve are the storage space in the rooms (there's barely any room to place suitcases etc) and the soundproofing (we were woken up several days by loud guests at 7am or earlier). On the positive side, the beds were comfortable (average hardness of mattress for westerners standards) and the shower was the best we've had in our whole trip through China: very modern, with good water pressure and no fluctuating temperature. The room thermostat worked really well and the hotel has some nice amenities for guests to use such as tea, massage chairs (a bit worn out but still working) and a vintage game console. The staff helped us with luggage, gave us information and even a small present at the end of our stay, which was a nice touch. The location of the hotel is in a quieter part of town, ideal for sleeping but still close enough to streets with lots of restaurants, cafes etc (try Heytea in west street if you can!).
Overall it's been good value for money, although the hotel could do some clean up/refurbishment work and the pool availability should be advertised accurately.

Room facilities: My king room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding that provided excellent rest after an intense race.
Service: The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, making me feel right at home. The front desk even helped me mail my trail running shoes, trekking poles, and other items back home.

Whether as a race support station or a place to relax and explore, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommend it to fellow runners!

MM628905****After checking in, I was pleasantly surprised by everything. The owner was incredibly welcoming, not only helping with my luggage but also enthusiastically introducing local attractions. The hotel is very close to the attractions, just a few minutes' walk from the rice terraces. I recommend allowing extra time, as the hotel's scenery is absolutely stunning. During the day, you can also stroll around the village and experience the local customs and culture.
