Xiangbishan Port House | City core stroll city center hotel (Guilin two rivers and four lakes store)

An impeccable stay, definitely five stars! The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, with excellent lighting and ventilation, and the outdoor scenery is lovely – a truly great experience. From the moment we entered until check-in, the staff were warmly welcoming, providing excellent, meticulous, and thoughtful service. The overall service quality was top-notch. The location is fantastic, situated in the golden heart of Guilin's city center. Downstairs, there's a snack street brimming with all sorts of local Guilin delicacies – a foodie's paradise, you can book this place with your eyes closed. Elephant Trunk Hill and Sun and Moon Pagodas are within walking distance, and attractions like East West Street and Jingjiang Princes' City are nearby. Transportation is convenient, making it a one-stop shop for eating, shopping, and sightseeing. The Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were super delicious and had a great texture, and at just 20 RMB per person, it was incredibly good value. The recreational facilities are comprehensive, with a free-to-use laundry room that's well-equipped and maintained. The chess room was comfortable and tidy. Every aspect of our stay was excellent, offering superb value for money. Definitely worth returning to!

Our first stop in Guangxi was Guilin, and we chose a hotel in the city center. The front desk staff were very welcoming upon arrival and even thoughtfully prepared toiletries for our child, which was a nice touch. The hotel is grand, and the breakfast was even better and more varied, with staff recommending delicious local specialties, especially the amazing rice noodles. The room was clean, spacious, and the toiletries were good, with even laundry detergent provided. The hotel environment was also excellent; it's small but has everything you need. The location was absolutely perfect for me – a snack street right downstairs, and no need for a taxi to get to the attractions.

I randomly picked this hotel and it exceeded my expectations! The service was incredibly thoughtful. They introduced us to local attractions and restaurants upon check-in. The recommended rice noodle shop, Qiufu Rice Noodles, and PoPo's Restaurant both tasted great and were reasonably priced. The room was also very clean, the AC worked perfectly, and toiletries were well-stocked. We even forgot our facial cleanser, but the front desk provided some – truly wonderful and considerate. The location is also fantastic, very convenient for exploring the city's sights, and there's a food street right downstairs. Highly recommend!

I picked this hotel at random and didn't have high expectations, but every staff member at the front desk was smiling. The room was spacious and bright, with a mini-fridge for cold drinks. Housekeeping came in daily to clean and provided plenty of drinking water. The breakfast was abundant and delicious. There's a snack street and a mall nearby, and taxis are easy to catch. The hotel is super convenient to major attractions. Coming back to the comfortable hotel every day quickly helped me relax after a tiring day. It's definitely worth staying here.

The most pleasant surprise of our Guilin trip was definitely this hotel. The room was incredibly spacious with amazing views. We were traveling as two families, and the room was simply perfect – there was so much space, it never felt cramped. The hotel service was also excellent; they were always on hand to help. Even during peak season, they kindly offered a complimentary late checkout until 2 PM, which was very thoughtful. The room decor was lovely, and it was spotlessly clean, with powerful air conditioning! Downstairs, you'll find rice noodle shops, convenience stores, and snacks. Elephant Trunk Hill and Sun and Moon Pagodas are just a 10-minute walk away, so there's no need to rush in the morning. You can even step outside and take photos of the night scenery. Zero travel stress! It's also very close to Guilin Railway Station, which was super convenient when dragging our luggage. There are convenience stores and pharmacies all around, so if you want a late-night snack, you can always find something – a huge plus for tourists. Next time we're in Guilin, we'll definitely stay here again. It's especially perfect for families with children.

Overall, it's pretty good. The location is excellent, basically within walking distance of everything. The room is spacious enough, perfect for families with kids. The hotel is in the heart of the city, with a bus stop right outside, making transportation to various attractions incredibly smooth – no more worrying about dragging luggage around. There are supermarkets and malls everywhere, a full score recommendation! Whether you're exploring during the day or hitting the night market, it's super convenient to get back to the hotel. Great value for money. The front desk staff, both male and female, were super enthusiastic and helped recommend good food and drinks nearby. The prime location alone makes it worth another stay. The mattress was just the right firmness, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The air conditioning heated and cooled quickly, and the hot water flow was stable and continuous. The toiletries were of good quality, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The room had great natural light, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered an expansive view. You could sit by the window to rest and play on your phone. Despite being on a busy street, you couldn't hear any noise, allowing for a peaceful sleep until you naturally woke up.

The 2.4-meter king bed was amazing; it perfectly solved the accommodation problem for two adults and one child. The hotel was very clean, and the staff's service attitude was excellent. They even recommended good places to eat and guided us on how to get to attractions. It's within walking distance to attractions, highly recommended!
