Holiday Inn Express GUILIN CITY CENTER by IHG

This hotel is super convenient, really close to Elephant Trunk Hill, Dongxi Alley, and ZhengYang Pedestrian Street, making it perfect for tourists. They even have a robot to deliver food! The staff are incredibly energetic, even late at night, and the service is excellent. The whole place is very clean, and the soundproofing is great. Plus, there are tons of takeaway options nearby, so you'll never go hungry, even in the early hours.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the city center, yet it's surprisingly quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep! They also arrange parking, which was incredibly convenient as we didn't have to search for a spot ourselves. In the evening, it was super easy to walk to attractions like Shan Lake, the Sun and Moon Pagodas, and East and West Alley – most were just a pleasant 5-10 minute stroll away. The lobby offered freshly brewed Luo Han Guo tea, and the front desk staff, noticing we had sore throats, even gifted us some upon checkout – so thoughtful! Our room was clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities. While it's not a brand-new hotel, you can tell it's very well-maintained. There's also a self-service laundry room and a restaurant upstairs. The breakfast had a great variety, and the Guilin rice noodles were particularly delicious! Overall, a really good experience!

First time in Guilin, and it truly lives up to its reputation for beautiful mountains, water, and people! I booked this hotel and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, paying attention to every single detail. The lovely ladies and gentlemen at the front desk greeted me enthusiastically every time, and were always quick to help with any issues. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and hygienic, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. What's more, the price was really budget-friendly. The location is absolutely fantastic too; there are plenty of restaurants and shops downstairs, and it's super convenient to get to all the major attractions. It was also surprisingly quiet at night, which was a huge plus. Overall, I'm left with a wonderful impression! Excellent value for money! I'll definitely be back!

The room was clean and tidy, living up to the excellent standards of Holiday Inn Express. The breakfast was rich and delicious, and there were many convenient dining options nearby. We could walk to the Sun and Moon Pagodas in less than 10 minutes in the evening. Xiao Wen, one of the staff members, was enthusiastic and attentive.

This was my first trip to Guilin with friends, and as always, we chose an InterContinental hotel, just like in other cities. The stay was incredibly comfortable and reassuring. The breakfast was delicious, especially the Guilin rice noodles. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a pedestrian street. After sightseeing all day, we'd come back to rest and then head downstairs for late-night snacks with plenty of food options. The staff, from the front desk to room service, were all very enthusiastic and helpful, always ready to answer any questions. ❤️

I'm usually not one to write reviews, but I just had to for this place – I'm incredibly satisfied! Everything, from the room to the service to the location, deserves five stars. Even though the room wasn't huge, it was exceptionally clean, minimalist, and fully functional, which was all I needed. Getting around was super convenient; I just rented an e-bike or a shared bike and went wherever I wanted. And then there's the service – oh, the service! What really surprised me was how genuinely enthusiastic *everyone* was. Not just one person, but every single staff member. It honestly felt like coming home. The 7th floor has the restaurant, gym, and laundry room all together, so you don't have to run to different floors. The Guilin rice noodles at breakfast were delicious, and I also tried their local specialty, Youcha (oil tea), which was really tasty! If I get the chance to come to Guilin again, I'll definitely choose this place.
