GGuest UserFirst off, the location is absolutely superb, right by the Li River. It's just a few hundred meters from the dock where the cruise from Guilin disembarks, and it's also very close to West Street, making evening strolls incredibly convenient. The room's style is both rustic and fresh, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, and all the facilities are complete. The view from the outdoor window is full of greenery, and sitting on the balcony, enjoying the river breeze, truly feels like a vacation. The restaurant downstairs is a must-visit in Yangshuo, and staying here means you can skip the queue. The dishes are affordably priced, and I highly recommend everyone to try it!

JJiatengjialatasiluotongI only have three words: Exceeded expectations! Because I rarely stay in B&Bs, I was quite concerned about the hygiene of this hotel. But it truly exceeded all my expectations. The cleanliness was impeccable, absolutely on par with high-end five-star hotels. All the toiletries were Acqua di Parma, and the citrus scent was delightful. The bedding was comfortable, with just the right firmness, and the duvet was perfectly weighted – very thoughtful details. The service was superb; from the moment I parked my car, staff members were there to help with luggage and even hold an umbrella. There were plenty of parking spaces, and branded EV chargers were available. Before heading out, the front desk would arrange electric scooter rentals, delivered right to the hotel entrance. The complimentary drinks at the front desk, complete with ice, were always available – truly, having stayed in hotels both domestically and internationally, the convenience and overall experience here are top-tier. There aren't many rooms, so service is prompt, and the soundproofing is excellent. The views were astonishing from the moment I walked in. Every single detail was fantastic, making this one of the warmest hotel experiences I've ever had. It was so great, I'd genuinely love to extend my stay if I had the time. It's so good that if I ever bring my children and elderly parents, I will absolutely, without a doubt, choose this place again. I hope they continue to thrive and their business prospers! I heard they're opening in Chongzuo, and I'll definitely visit if I get the chance.

GGuest UserThis villa is absolutely amazing, the entire design is just my style. There are projectors both upstairs and downstairs, which is such a thoughtful touch, and the landlady even specifically bought a vanity table. The location is also fantastic, a 15-minute drive to the town, and just a 10-minute walk to the Yulong River Old County Pier. I especially have to rave about the hotel bar! The landlady personally mixes drinks for you, and the cocktails are genuinely delicious. She used to be a bartender in Chengdu, and her drinks are even better than ones I've had in Hong Kong! Plus, the bar's decor is really cool, with an American record vibe. I really urge the owners to promote the bar more! The landlady even gave me a free bartending lesson – a truly unique experience! And the room was spotlessly clean with a beautiful view!

The reception staff were incredibly friendly and patient with my requests. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Guilin. The hotel's online photoshoot service was also outstanding. The makeup artist was very helpful in choosing outfits and applying simple makeup. The photographer guided poses and took great shots, ensuring both the person and the scenery looked good. Finally, the photo selector was very patient in helping me choose the photos, without any hard selling.

CCristinaZhangSeriously, what a find! This guesthouse is located at the highest point in Jinkeng Dazhai that's accessible by car, which saved us a lot of uphill walking. From here, it's just a 10-minute walk to Observation Deck No. 2 and 20 minutes to Observation Deck No. 1. The rooms are equipped with all sorts of high-tech facilities, spacious and comfortable, with a faint scent of tung oil. The large balcony offers direct views of the stunning rice terraces, perfect for time-lapse photography, or simply lounging around, daydreaming and sipping tea – a truly relaxing experience. We stayed here for two comfortable nights. The guesthouse even has an elevator, making it super convenient to get to the fourth floor. The owner's cooking is absolutely amazing, and even breakfast was very generous. They served complimentary homemade rice wine with every meal, and even gave us a souvenir when we left. The owner is incredibly thoughtful!

GGuest UserIf you're visiting Yangshuo, you absolutely have to stay at this industrial-style hotel! The hotel we chose for this trip was amazing. Its location is super convenient, right on Yangshuo West Street, so you can just step out and start exploring. The hotel's overall vibe is cool and industrial, with a sleek and sophisticated design. Every corner is picture-perfect and Instagrammable. We opted for the family room, which was decorated incredibly cutely – exactly the kind of style kids would love. The hotel also offers a self-service breakfast, and the rice noodles were delicious! Rroundy00The environment at The Sugar House is absolutely stunning, no doubt about it. The hotel activities are also excellent; I tried both the complimentary morning yoga and Tai Chi classes every day, and the instructors were fantastic. The included travel photography session was also great, with a very natural style. I also have to praise the hotel restaurants – both the food and the ambiance are superb. Whether it was Chinese cuisine, Western dishes, or casual meals, everything was well-prepared. We also tried the hotel's paid activity, the Via Ferrata, which was a lot of fun! My only minor complaint is that it was too short and didn't last long enough. The only real downside was actually the room. Given that it's nearly 10 years old, it felt a bit dated, and the decor style was a bit outmoded. BUT! Overall, I'm very satisfied and would definitely choose this hotel again!!

GGuest UserThe scenery is beautiful from my room (check out the photos attached). The service is excellent; exceeded my expectation by 1000%. 2 days before checking in, your ”butler” is assigned and they would create a chat group. All your needs from checking-in, during the stay, and check-out are being carefully attended to. I saw many foreigners who cannot speak Chinese, has no issue with communication with the staff as they use the app to address different languages. Also, the butler will assist with all the ticket bookings, reminding you the breakfast timing and arranging the free transport (thought within 6km). I am very glad to have chosen this accommodation. And i would highly recommend to ALL people who are going to Yangshuo!

FFrancesca FWe really enjoyed our stay at Tui Blue. It’s out of the hustle and bustle of West street, but only a 12yen didi there. The views are stunning, including of the romance park across the street. Front desk staff were so kind. Breakfast every morning had both Chinese and western options, including fresh noodles being made to order. This hotel takes great pride in their cleanliness and design. Room was amazing. Great views. Great air conditioning. Very comfortable bed. Great water pressure from the shower. Free mini fridge for the first round of drinks, and tea and coffee in the room. Our few things where we would recommend improvements to the hotel: - There was no working AC in the gym. - Gym should have some lighter weights too. - Gym needs a mirror. - Pool towels should be available by the pool. (Unsure if they normally are.. we went out in the rain so possibly during sun they have these readily available). - some small things need to be maintained. (Gym wall leak with mold present, painting around windows peeling off, outdoor plant maintenance, pool tidy of chairs and ensure pool inflatables are actually blown up.These small things aren’t really noticed by everybody, however as a travel agent myself it is what sets luxury hotels apart from others). Overall a really great stay. Would definitely stay again.

EelbartoThis was the start of our 2-week journey through southern China by train from HK. It rained incredibly hard the most we stepped off the train, so we were very happy to arrive at the Shangri-La and enjoy their wonderful service and amenities. We enjoyed an early evening couple's massage on an offer of buy-one-get-one-free, which was absolutely wonderful. Breakfast buffet was good, not amazing, but had a wide selection of foods available. The gym was better equipped than most hotel gyms I've encountered. Our bed was enormous! I'm around 190cm but even I felt small in this bed 😂 Would definitely stay here again! 💯
