Staying at the Xi Shi Jin She Hotel was an incredibly healing experience amidst the beautiful landscapes of Yangshuo. The hotel is located right by the Yulong River, and with the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, you're greeted by stunning karst peaks, with bamboo rafts slowly gliding by on the river – it feels like living inside a traditional Chinese ink painting. The room was clean and tidy, the toiletries were of excellent quality, and the facilities were exquisite and comprehensive. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, and the authentic Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were fresh and delicious. The rooftop infinity pool offered amazing photo opportunities. It's also super convenient for visiting the Ten-Mile Gallery. This is definitely my top choice for a stay in Yangshuo, a perfect experience!

I really want to leave a review of the hotel and the area in general. We stayed here with our family and children for two nights. We were absolutely delighted with the hotel and the hosts' hospitality! They welcomed us like family! Warm, thoughtful, and attentive! The boutique hotel is modern and stylish, with a smart home system throughout. Cleanliness, excellent air conditioning, crisp white linens, towels, and robes. Comfortable mattresses and pillows. Everything is new and perfect. It's a little piece of luxury, modern paradise amidst stunning mountain scenery! The food is incredibly delicious. We ate all our meals at the hotel and enjoyed every dish! The view from our room was stunning! Special thanks for taking us everywhere and patiently waiting while we explored. They gave us so many gifts! I'd dreamed of a photo shoot, and it was so nice to receive that as a gift! And the trip to the top of the mountain to watch the sunset was incredible, magical! Every moment was taken care of! All our wishes were fulfilled instantly, as if the hosts could read our minds. My worries about insects were in vain. No one bit us. We felt like we were in a fairy tale!!! I'll definitely come back to China again, and I'll definitely come back here and stay at this hotel!

The room condition was excellent, and the view was absolutely stunning. We could take amazing photos right from our room. The owner was very thoughtful and paid great attention to detail. He's also a fantastic photographer; the pictures he took of our family of four were beautiful. All our meals were at the hotel. The breakfast rice noodle set was very flavorful, and the lunch and dinner dishes were delicious, offering both home-style and local flavors. Longji Terraces, we'll be back! I came here after seeing recommendations on Xiaohongshu, but I found the experience quite disjointed. Overall, I think it's only suitable for self-driving parties of two or more people looking for a vacation, and you can't expect high-quality service. **Cons:** My biggest issue was the deposit-for-good-review scheme (see screenshot). I understand that many hotels might have requirements for good reviews, and I'm happy to leave one if there's mutual goodwill. However, I've never encountered a situation where you're asked to pay a deposit first and then use a good review to get it back. This felt like a threat to guests, and it was quite distasteful. So, this time, I declined any 'benefits' from the hotel and chose to leave an honest review. (To clarify what she meant by deposit: since my booking didn't include breakfast, I was told it would be an extra 25 yuan per day, 50 yuan for two days. I booked a bathtub queen room for the first two nights and a tatami room for the last night. When I asked if I could avoid changing rooms, I was told it would require an additional 100 yuan deposit). Service was generally mediocre. The staff rarely smiled, offered perfunctory service, but lacked understanding or genuine support. Later, when I moved to a hotel on West Street, I felt much better instantly. (I did meet a front desk staff member who helped me with my luggage when I arrived, and I thank her for that, but otherwise, the service was truly average). The location is too remote. There are no dining options nearby; if you don't eat at the hotel, your only choices are a few farm-to-table restaurants nearby, which are double the price and offer average food. Getting a taxi takes a long time because there are no cars nearby, so I only recommend this place for self-drivers (or those who rent electric scooters). The nearby scenery is unremarkable. **Pros:** Hygiene was excellent. The cleaning auntie was the nicest staff member of all, and she was thorough and meticulous; it was genuinely clean. The decor was well thought out. You can tell the owner put a lot of effort into it, with the front hall restored to its old charm and the back meticulously maintained. Many details even had a touch of Zen. That's why I feel it's so disjointed and such a shame. It could have been a great hotel, but it left me with a very fragmented experience.

The hotel's location is excellent, you can drive right to the entrance, and parking is super convenient (they even have charging stations!!). The service is fantastic, and the hotel restaurant serves delicious food. The rooms are clean, tidy, and spacious, with balconies that offer breathtaking, unbeatable views right outside your window. A special mention goes to the hotel's kitchen, which is spotlessly clean and hygienic, giving you complete peace of mind. It's also just a 10-minute drive to the No. 1 observation deck, Xishan Shaole.

The location is superb, very close to West Street, making shopping, dining, and getting around incredibly convenient. The self-service washing machine is very practical, and the room is quiet and clean. The breakfast is also plentiful, and the service is excellent. Staying here made our trip worry-free and comfortable. My family was very satisfied, and we'll definitely stay here again next time.

This was my second stay at LS Guilin, once again, the hotel exceeded my expectations. It is truly one of the most beautiful and well-managed hotels I have stayed, and what makes the experience even more special is the exceptional team behind it. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean and simply wonderful. Its location is fantastic, right in one of the best areas of Yangshuo, making it an ideal base for exploring the area while still providing a peaceful and luxurious environment to return to. The breakfast is excellent, with a wonderful selection, and the afternoon tea is another lovely touch that adds to the overall experience. Victoria and Icey continue to deliver outstanding service. Their attention to detail, professionalism and genuine warmth make such a difference. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of and that my stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. It is wonderful to return to a hotel and find the same exceptional level of service. I would also like to give special recognition to Ms. Jin, who helped me with my luggage and personally delivered my wine. She was always incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming. Her kindness and positive attitude made every interaction such a pleasure. Sweet girl! A big thank you as well to Ms. Rosie, who surprised me with a lovely gift during check-out. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a beautiful way to end my stay. She’s so lovely and always smiling. And I cannot forget Chocolate, the photographer! 📸 She was absolutely brilliant. She took some of the best photos for me and was incredibly patient, creative and helpful throughout the whole photoshoot. She made the experience so much fun and captured the hotel and the surrounding scenery beautifully. Mr. Kaysen also deserves a special mention. He was incredibly helpful when I needed assistance purchasing wine and went out of his way to make everything easy and convenient. His helpfulness and willingness to assist were greatly appreciated. The drivers and golf-cart team were also excellent — always friendly, punctual and professional, with clean and comfortable cars and golf carts. Their service made getting around the property and surrounding areas effortless. After staying here for the second time, I can confidently say that LS Guilin Yangshuo has become one of my favourite hotels in Yangshuo. The combination of the beautiful property, exceptional cleanliness, fantastic location, excellent food and, most importantly, the genuinely caring staff makes this hotel truly special. A huge thank you to the entire team, especially Ms Victoria, Ms Icey, Ms. Jin, Ms. Rosie, Mr. Kaysen, Ms Chocolate and the wonderful drivers and golf-cart team. A wonderful family hotel with spacious rooms, a pool and a very peaceful atmosphere. We stayed here as a family with children and really enjoyed our time. In Yangshuo, many hotels have beautiful mountain views, but this hotel stands out because it is not only scenic, but also very quiet, peaceful and comfortable inside. For us, this was a huge advantage. This is a warm family-style hotel where you feel that the owners truly care about every guest. The hostess was always nearby and personally paid attention to the quality of service. The staff were very friendly, polite and always ready to help. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was done on time, and everything felt well maintained. For this level of room, the price was very reasonable, which makes the hotel a very good value for money. Another big plus is the swimming pool. For a family trip, especially with children, having a pool at the hotel is a real advantage compared with many other hotels in the area. One of the nicest details was the afternoon tea with sweets — it made the stay feel even more welcoming and personal. The atmosphere of the hotel is calm and relaxing, which is exactly what you need in the mountains. The garden, the views, the fresh air and the peaceful environment helped us rest properly. The night before, we stayed in another hotel where it was noisy and uncomfortable because of construction nearby, so here we especially appreciated the silence, cleanliness and comfort. We finally had a proper rest. This hotel is a great choice for families, for people travelling with children, and for anyone who wants a quiet and cozy place surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. We left with very warm impressions and would be happy to come back again. Highly recommended. Для нас это было огромным плюсом. Это уютный семейный отель, где чувствуется настоящая забота о гостях. Хозяйка всегда была рядом и лично контролировала качество обслуживания. Персонал очень доброжелательный, вежливый, всегда старался помочь и сделать проживание максимально комфортным. Номер был очень просторный, чистый и удобный. Уборка проводилась вовремя, всё было аккуратно и приятно. Для такого уровня номера цена, на наш взгляд, очень недорогая, поэтому соотношение цены и качества здесь отличное. Отдельный большой плюс — наличие бассейна. Для семейной поездки, особенно с детьми, это действительно важное преимущество по сравнению со многими другими отелями в этом районе. Также нам очень понравились приятные детали: послеобеденный чай со сладостями, зелёный двор, красивые виды, свежий воздух и общая спокойная атмосфера. В горах именно такой отдых особенно ценен — здесь можно по-настоящему расслабиться и восстановиться. Ночь до этого мы провели в другом отеле, где рядом шла стройка, было шумно и душно. Поэтому здесь мы особенно оценили тишину, чистоту и комфорт. Мы наконец-то хорошо отдохнули. Отель отлично подойдёт для семей с детьми и для тех, кто ищет не шумное место, а спокойный, уютный отдых среди красивой природы. У нас остались очень тёплые впечатления, с удовольствием вернулись бы снова. Очень рекомендуем.

Yangshuo Sugarhouse has always been a hotel I've wanted to visit, and a serendipitous opportunity finally brought me here, marking my first trip to Yangshuo. True to its pictures, it's exactly as you've seen it. Admittedly, it's no longer a new hotel, and I had some reservations beforehand, as similar-priced hotels in the same category might offer larger, more luxurious options. However, for design enthusiasts, Sugarhouse is special; it's a destination in itself. My first impression was that the hotel is reasonably well-maintained, and the service is always pleasant and attentive. I always assumed these were standard expectations in such hotels, not worth mentioning. Yet, it wasn't until I truly experienced the various facets of Yangshuo that I realized Sugarhouse is an oasis in this bustling, chaotic, and often less-than-pleasant destination. Yangshuo is beautiful, but its natural charm isn't always enough to offset some disappointing tourist experiences. You might exert a lot of effort trying to soak in the legendary landscapes, only to be left unsatisfied, perhaps due to early mornings or overwhelming crowds. But at Sugarhouse, you can intimately connect with Yangshuo's mountains and rivers, as they are right outside your room, beyond the iconic pool view. During the day, you can fully immerse yourself in nature undisturbed, and as dusk falls, the lights of Impression Liu Sanjie illuminate them, making you a part of the landscape. Finding such tranquility in this destination is incredibly precious, a realization I only had after switching to other hotels. The service here carries a hint of genuine, endearing awkwardness, and you can sense that achieving this level of service isn't easy. The bartender at 1969 Bar recommended a special concoction when I was indecisive, allowing me to savor the last season's season of loquat gin, which was unforgettable. Lucy at the front desk was incredibly helpful in resolving my issues, and when I pointed out some minor flaws in the room, they were already being addressed – truly tiny details that not everyone would notice, demonstrating their genuine care for guests. I met a gentleman at breakfast who enthusiastically and meticulously introduced me to oil tea and proactively helped me carry it to my upstairs seat when my hands were full. On my departure day, I even saw him standing at the lobby entrance at 36 degrees Celsius, assisting guests. Later, I learned he was the hotel's general manager. The people here are sincere and responsible, and what initially felt like minor imperfections transformed into a stark difference after comparison. I can give the experience here full marks. Some friends might find it too boring, with too many cars on the highway outside the rooms. But if you've experienced the endless swarm of electric scooters, the ubiquitous paid parking lots, and the so-called villas that cost 3,000 yuan with no view whatsoever, you'll realize that not only is the pricing here quite fair, but it's also almost the only viable accommodation option in Yangshuo. Of course, this is just for reference if you don't plan on venturing out, but Sugarhouse still offers many interesting services that make it a highly recommendable choice.

I had a truly satisfying stay! The location of Wangjianglou is unbeatable, very close to West Street and the Li River, making getting around super convenient. I specifically booked the 'Leisure Courtyard View Twin Room,' and it was clean, tidy, well-equipped, and completely odor-free. The courtyard environment is incredibly tranquil and peaceful, a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The twin room was spacious enough; my family and I didn't feel cramped at all. The staff were friendly and responsive. Overall, the value for money is exceptional. It was an impeccable accommodation experience, deserving of a five-star rating!
