PPipajiKicking off our spring break, we headed south through Guilin, Yangshuo, Nanning, and Beihai. Yangshuo Wangjianglou Inn was by far the most comfortable and convenient place we stayed. The inn's design and layout exceeded my expectations; the quality was truly impressive. Given the limitations of the building itself, they ingeniously installed a luggage elevator, which was incredibly thoughtful for both guests and staff – big thumbs up! Yangshuo county is quite small, so there's really no need to stay directly in the scenic area (it's inconvenient, overpriced, and you'd need taxis for meals and transportation, adding to costs). Staying in the West Street commercial district was a very smart decision. We stayed and ate at Wangjianglou (for those who know, their restaurant is a super popular, must-try spot in Yangshuo with long queues!). As a guest, you don't have to wait; the front desk concierge helps with reservations directly, and you even get a 10% discount on meals, which is a fantastic deal. I'm already planning to bring my family back after May Day and will definitely be staying at Wangjianglou again!

After attending a concert in Nanning, I thought I'd come to Yangshuo for a vacation. For me, a good hotel can meet many needs. From hardware to software, thoughtful service makes you feel more at ease. From the moment I entered the hotel, I felt that thoughtfulness.
I'm quite a stickler for details. The hotel's cleanliness, the maintenance of its public areas, and even the toiletries are all meticulously chosen. The refrigerator, kettle, and hairdryer are all carefully prepared and not just thrown in. Also, the bathrobe is incredibly comfortable! That's a rare find! I booked a room with a terrace, and sitting there in the afternoon or early morning, you can really feel the tranquility of the mountains.
The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and there was also an afternoon tea (the desserts were tasty too). Initially, when I came to Yangshuo, I only felt that the scenery was beautiful. But staying at this hotel, I truly realized that even in such a so-called 'paradise,' you can experience a different, perhaps even more luxurious, feeling.
Honestly, if you want an excellent experience when you come to Yangshuo, you can choose this hotel. It's incredibly convenient whether you're going to eat at Ten-Mile Gallery or explore the old town. More importantly, the scenery viewed from within the hotel is absolutely twice as wonderful, without the crowds and noise (a true resort destination!). You really can fall in love with a city because of a hotel.
Everything above is my genuine feeling. The hotel's attention to detail is truly heartfelt, especially the large public lawn in front of the hotel, which gives a very relaxing and pleasant feeling. Considering the guest's experience, thumbs up!

GGuest UserThis villa is absolutely amazing, the entire design is just my style. There are projectors both upstairs and downstairs, which is such a thoughtful touch, and the landlady even specifically bought a vanity table. The location is also fantastic, a 15-minute drive to the town, and just a 10-minute walk to the Yulong River Old County Pier.
I especially have to rave about the hotel bar! The landlady personally mixes drinks for you, and the cocktails are genuinely delicious. She used to be a bartender in Chengdu, and her drinks are even better than ones I've had in Hong Kong! Plus, the bar's decor is really cool, with an American record vibe. I really urge the owners to promote the bar more! The landlady even gave me a free bartending lesson – a truly unique experience!
And the room was spotlessly clean with a beautiful view!

AAilinnuonuo95Upgraded to a balcony room for one night, directly facing the beautiful Li River and Fubo Hill. The evening breeze was so pleasant. The double sinks, toilet, and shower room were all separate, which was very convenient. Later, we moved to a 180-degree river view room, where I could just relax on the tatami mat and gaze at the river – truly a stolen moment of leisure. The oversized bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak and stress relief. The mini-bar was free, and the complimentary fruit at night was delicious.
The butler and front desk staff were all so kind, polite, and provided excellent service, always ready to help. They proactively asked daily if we needed anything, if the room temperature was comfortable, or if we wanted to choose different pillows. We slept wonderfully every night.
The hotel breakfast offered a great variety, including two types of rice noodles (dry and soup). There were also two kinds of herbal teas daily, like luo han guo and goji berry. We had dinner à la carte, and the food was delicious, the ambiance beautiful, making it perfect for photos.
The hotel package included a photoshoot with a good selection of outfits. The photographer was patient and meticulous, and selecting the photos was a smooth process.
My mom absolutely loved the hotel's cultural handicraft experience; she made three phone charms and really enjoyed it.
I also tried the hotel spa. The masseuse was quiet throughout but worked hard, and her technique was very good.
The most memorable part of our Guilin trip was our stay at Lijiang Courtyard. We felt completely at home. We'll definitely book here again next time!

CCristinaZhangSeriously, what a find! This guesthouse is located at the highest point in Jinkeng Dazhai that's accessible by car, which saved us a lot of uphill walking. From here, it's just a 10-minute walk to Observation Deck No. 2 and 20 minutes to Observation Deck No. 1. The rooms are equipped with all sorts of high-tech facilities, spacious and comfortable, with a faint scent of tung oil. The large balcony offers direct views of the stunning rice terraces, perfect for time-lapse photography, or simply lounging around, daydreaming and sipping tea – a truly relaxing experience. We stayed here for two comfortable nights. The guesthouse even has an elevator, making it super convenient to get to the fourth floor. The owner's cooking is absolutely amazing, and even breakfast was very generous. They served complimentary homemade rice wine with every meal, and even gave us a souvenir when we left. The owner is incredibly thoughtful!

You can easily find Beer Fish, Luosifen (snail noodles), and all sorts of Yangshuo specialty snacks just by walking out. When you're tired from exploring, you can just pop back to the hotel and relax, no need for a long trek back – it's incredibly convenient 🥳
What truly blew me away was the unique tranquility amidst the bustling city. Downstairs, West Street is buzzing with lively energy, but inside the room, it's incredibly quiet. The soundproofing is amazing; you can't hear any of the street noise. You can lie in bed and peacefully admire the stunning karst peaks. Enjoying the lush green mountains by day and drifting off to sleep in silence at night truly elevates the vacation vibe ✨

GGuest UserTraveling with a baby during the Dragon Boat Festival was great, aside from the constant rain. The hotel upgraded our room for free, and their homemade craft beer was delicious. We had requested a crib in advance, and when we entered the room, we saw the pillow and blanket neatly folded inside – our baby loved it! The hotel's pool is a major highlight; the water temperature was just right, it was very clean, and there was no harsh chlorine smell, showing they really take care of it. Our baby had so much fun swimming for the first time! The restaurant's ambiance and food were good, though the prices were a bit high. They even offer room service for meals. When we left, they gave our baby a small toy. We'll definitely bring our little one back again if we get the chance!

my booking has free photography service for 30 minutes, which is very good, thanks to Jiajia our amazing photographer. 😁
lastly, my booking also included free transport to west street, which is very convenience, just make sure to ask them car plate number for pick-up service and how long would it take for the car to arrive, my recommend is just keep actively communicate with your butler.
overall, Im very satisfy with the stay, the view itself is totally worth it, other things is just add-on that make this a better stay.

NNaixin17Yangshuo has so many hotels and guesthouses, it's easy to get overwhelmed browsing through them on Ctrip! Every single one looks so exquisite and beautiful 🤩. I stumbled upon this hotel-style guesthouse by chance; it had just opened, and its decor deeply attracted me – grand, yet full of character. The room felt very spacious, and directly opposite was the impressive statue of the lead actress from 'Impression Liu Sanjie', offering expansive, bright, and very comfortable views!
**Facilities:** As a newly opened guesthouse, the facilities are all excellent. It's clear the owner put a lot of thought and effort into the design and amenities! 👍👍👍
**Service:** Honestly, it's impeccable. The young ladies working there are visibly energetic and very enthusiastic, providing excellent service. They frequently message to ask if we need anything and tell us to let them know if we require any assistance! Guesthouse service nowadays truly surpasses the standards of five-star hotels – at least, it always evokes a strong sense of satisfaction; it's incredibly thoughtful and meticulous ❤️❤️🫶🫶🤩🤩🫰🫰🫰 Thumbs up to the ladies who served us these past few days! 👍
**Food:** Breakfast is included and offers a rich variety, covering both Chinese and Western options. Everything you'd expect is well-prepared. (The auntie working there is so warm, always greeting us with a smile every morning, asking how we slept and if we need any help, etc.) Yangshuo rice noodles 🍜 are a must-have every morning; the broth is pure, and it feels so comforting and warm in the stomach. The roasted pumpkin is also fantastic, sweet and soft. Millet porridge with some pickles, Western-style lettuce, corn, cherry tomatoes, chickpeas with a bit of dressing, fried eggs, omelets, toast, bread, small desserts, coffee, cereal, milk, juice, fruit bar – the breakfast quality is absolutely good enough for foreign guests 👍👍🫰🫰🫶🫶🤩🤩
**Overall:** Apart from a minor flaw in the guest room, everything else is beyond reproach – truly excellent. The service is great, breakfast is great, and both the interior and exterior of the hotel are fantastic. If you love taking photos 🤳 for your social media, this hotel is definitely your top choice; it's very photogenic, every shot looks like a masterpiece! LLvxingfashaoyouxiongbaobaoGuilin Shangri-La, I absolutely, absolutely, absolutely love it!! Is Guilin Shangri-La old? No! While it's a bit older, every single facility is incredibly well-maintained! And the food? Even better!
Perhaps my experience is limited, but my 6-year-old and I have traveled to 129 cities, and the variety and taste of the food in Guilin Shangri-La's Horizon Club (executive lounge) are super, super, super abundant!!
The breakfast is also fantastic, and the Chinese food at Shang Palace is too!!! We stayed here for three days and ate our way through the entire Shangri-La from top to bottom!!
The spa, gym, and pool are all super, super excellent!
