WWangtiaotiaoSo glad we booked this place instead of one of those family-friendly B&Bs in the village. The facilities are so much better! We even got a free upgrade to the 'Cloud' room. Waking up to such a stunning view every day was a treat, and soaking in the large bathtub while enjoying the scenery was incredibly relaxing! The location is also fantastic – much quieter than S Bay. We could easily stroll around or rent an electric scooter downstairs, and it's super close to Yasheng Coffee. The breakfast spread was generous. They also have a kids' room with building blocks, a mini slide, and picture books, which was perfect for our two-year-old; he didn't want to leave. Plus, even when it rained, we could still have fun by the pool.

GGuest UserI finally stayed at this beautiful B&B that I've been eyeing for a while. The ecological environment in Haixi is fantastic, and it's not as crowded or commercialized as other places like Dali Ancient City or Shuanglang. It's incredibly laid-back, and I felt relaxed the moment I checked in, ready for my vacation ⛱️.
Even though I did my research beforehand, I was still blown away when I opened the door. The room has huge floor-to-ceiling windows, offering stunning views of Erhai Lake and the springtime trees outside. It's definitely a must-stay when you're in Dali.
The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is really delicious and plentiful, and they even prepare beautifully presented afternoon tea. Apparently, you can also order some nice cocktails from the coffee shop downstairs in the evening. I'll definitely be recommending this place to my family and friends!

AAramiRexWe stayed here from 12–15 May during our honeymoon and decided to do our Yunnan trip entirely on our own. Dali was our first destination after landing in Kunming the night before, and it turned out to be the perfect start to our journey.
Since our train arrived early at around 9:00 AM, I contacted the host a few days in advance to ask if an early check-in would be possible. Not only were they happy to accommodate our request, but they also kindly offered to pick us up from the station. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by our host, Mei, who gave us a tour of the property after check-in.
The hotel exceeded our expectations. The architecture is absolutely stunning, from the outside, it feels like staying in a beautiful traditional palace within the old town, while the interior is thoughtfully modernized with every comfort you could need. Our room was incredibly spacious, and we especially loved the heated bathroom floors and the bidet, which was a pleasant surprise. There is also a rooftop area where guests can enjoy a beautiful sunrise view.
Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. Guests are given several options, and parts of the menu change daily, which kept things interesting. What we looked forward to most every morning was the amazing yogurt served with homemade rose jam, it was honestly the best we've ever had. We mentioned how much we loved it, and at the end of our stay, Mei surprised us with a jar to take home. Such a thoughtful gesture!
Every evening, the hotel served a warm dessert, introducing us to flavors that were completely new yet delicious. We were also treated to a complimentary afternoon tea. To make our honeymoon even more special, Mei and her team surprised us with a personalized cake, which was incredibly touching.
The location is very convenient, with several Muslim-friendly eateries within a 10-minute walk, as well as convenience stores nearby.
What truly sets this place apart, however, is the hospitality. Out of all the accommodations we stayed at during our Yunnan trip, this was by far the best. Mei went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, constantly sharing recommendations, travel tips, and local insights to help us make the most of our time in Dali. We genuinely felt cared for throughout our stay.
I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for honeymooners and newlyweds looking for a memorable and heartfelt experience. InsyaAllah, we will definitely return on our future trips to Dali.

GGuest UserOn my first day in Dali, I checked into the Yueshanhai Hotel, nestled in the mountains near the ancient city. With a gentle drizzle and fresh air, a stroll through the garden was utterly delightful.
The hotel boasts excellent facilities, including a swimming pool, gym, restaurant, cafe, bar, book bar, and even billiards. On the third floor of Building 1, you'll find the Akashima Seaview Bar and the Seaview Book Bar, offering stunning views of the mountains and Erhai Lake. Don't forget to wake up early to catch the sunrise!
The guest rooms are spacious and bright, with comfortable bedding. The Herbal toiletries and bathtub for a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring are absolutely wonderful!
Breakfast, served on the first floor of Building 2 at the Baini Restaurant, offers a rich variety of Chinese and Western options. The rice noodles with braised pork and Weishan stewed pork are incredibly fragrant and delicious!

The floor-to-ceiling windows provide plenty of light, the place is clean, and the bedding is comfortable. The front desk staff are incredibly attentive and helpful. On weekends, the breakfast buffet is available until 10:30 AM and offers a wide variety of choices. They also have a laundry room and gym, and free parking is a great bonus. Definitely excellent value for money!

GGuest UserAbsolutely thrilled with my stay! When I arrived in Shuanglang, the hotel manager picked me up and took me to the hotel on a tricycle. There was a better room available that day, so the manager upgraded me to a room worth over 4000 [currency unit]. The environment was fantastic, very clean, and fully stocked with snacks and drinks. They even helped me draw a bath! The afternoon tea was incredibly generous – I had barely finished that when they brought me a late-night soup, I was so full! Breakfast was also plentiful, and the scenery was beyond words, perfect for photos. Being in a waterfront room, soaking in the tub and looking out at the sea was so therapeutic. I'll definitely be back. Five-star rating, truly one of the most satisfying hotels I've ever stayed in.

When you arrive, you can enjoy the hotel's homemade flower cakes and walnuts – I'm really bummed I missed out on the hotel breakfast! The service was also very satisfying, and the room was large and beautiful. It's excellent value for money. I stayed here a few years ago and loved it so much that when I came back to Dali, I booked the same room type at the same hotel again! The only thing is the bamboo forest seemed smaller, maybe it was the wrong season. I'll definitely come back again to experience it.

GGuest UserFor our Dali trip, I specifically booked a stay at the Dali Ocean Hotel. I had reserved an underwater room, and my daughter absolutely loved it. She spent her time on the bay window watching the fish, practically sleeping and waking up with them!
The hotel also included a complimentary diving experience, but unfortunately, my husband was a bit scared and couldn't go through with it.
The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. I absolutely love this hotel and will definitely be back!

Rooms were spacious with expansive views, and the setting was private and tranquil. The courtyard design was exquisite, and the evening lighting was incredibly romantic. Service was incredibly attentive; from check-in to check-out, the staff were always smiling and ready to assist. They even helped us arrange transportation and book tickets. Cleanliness was exceptional; towels and bath towels were replaced daily, and everything was thoroughly sanitized, making our stay completely worry-free and reassuring. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Dali!
