Perched on a cliff, Qianshan Yuhai offers breathtaking panoramic views of Erhai Lake, with the majestic Cangshan mountains as its backdrop and a sea of clouds as its neighbor. The rooms are spacious and spotless, and the private balcony acts as your personal viewing deck, where every single moment feels like a painting. The butler service is wonderfully attentive and prompt; they picked me up right when I arrived, and breakfast was served in my room every morning. It truly felt like I had all the romance of Dali right there.

The hotel is located halfway up the mountain in Wenbi Village, where there must be hundreds of guesthouses. Since I booked on the day of check-in, there weren't many options available with a large balcony, which is my personal preference. I ended up choosing a two-day stay in a loft king room at the Qianshan.Yu Hai Hotel. I arrived around 9 PM, and the front desk offered me a free upgrade to a sea-view terrace king room, which happened to be vacant. This accidental upgrade to a sea-view terrace room was absolutely perfect! However, this room type was only available for one night, as it was booked for the second day. I told the front desk that if it became available again, I'd love to have it. Sure enough, at 4 PM, they informed me that a reservation had been canceled – perfect timing! The room I switched to on the second day had an even better, unobstructed view. The entire hotel and the rooms were clean and tastefully minimalist. Enjoying afternoon tea while gazing at Erhai Lake in the afternoon was incredibly relaxing, and the twilight blue hour was particularly romantic. Additionally, several cafes in Wenbi Village are also very beautiful. Dali is such a therapeutic place!

This hotel is perfect for those visiting Dali who appreciate a slower pace. It's nestled in Wenbi Village within the Haidong scenic area, offering stunning cliffside views facing half of Erhai Lake, and you can even catch the sunset. What truly stood out was their exceptional service. They provide a complimentary pick-up from the station directly to the hotel, which is incredibly convenient. Although the roads within the scenic area can be narrow and busy, the hotel even offers unlimited shuttle service up and down the entire Wenbi scenic area – super convenient! The butler and other staff members were always responsive to our needs. Afternoon tea and breakfast were both plentiful and delicious. Each room has a unique design, and the smart home features and amenities are comprehensive. Sitting or lying by the floor-to-ceiling window and gazing at Erhai Lake was the most relaxing part of our trip to Dali. If you're feeling tired, you can always head to the lobby for unlimited coffee refills. Overall, it was a great stay! Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Haidong.

The room was excellent, with a fantastic view and very quiet, directly overlooking Erhai Lake. We were greeted with afternoon tea upon arrival, and the service was very comfortable. They even offered pick-up and drop-off throughout our stay, which made for a superb experience. I'll definitely choose this place again next time.

Location: Perched on a hillside just above Wenbi Village, the views are absolutely stunning. The room itself is also excellent, with direct sea views right from your window. The public areas are beautiful too, perfect for taking photos without even leaving the hotel. We originally booked a duplex but were upgraded to a room with a terrace. It's a bit tricky to find, but they offer unlimited shuttle service to Wenbi Village or for dining out in the villages down the hill. The room comes with a Dyson hairdryer, which is a big plus. Cleanliness: Very clean. Service: Absolutely fantastic! They were super responsive and attentive. When we checked out, they even gave us a souvenir. Breakfast was delicious and very substantial, with coffee available all day. The afternoon tea cakes were also lovely, and the mini-fridge in the room was restocked daily with snacks.

The hotel service was excellent, and they even upgraded us to a sea-view room for free. Since we arrived after afternoon tea time, they also sent up a fruit platter. The room had a great view, with Erhai Lake right outside the window. The breakfast was very rich and varied. Highly recommend! 👍

The room is absolutely beautiful, and I can enjoy the view of Erhai Lake right from my bed! I have to give a special shout-out to the excellent service. As soon as I checked in, they added me to a group chat. They even offer a shuttle service to and from the village, which made everything so convenient and comfortable. The afternoon tea was not only visually appealing but also delicious, and the latte art on the coffee was really pretty too. I was also very happy with the photoshoot experience.

An absolutely delightful stay! The guesthouse has a fantastic design, and the room offered breathtaking views of Erhai Lake. It was a truly wonderful experience. The butler service was also incredibly thoughtful, taking us to and from Wenbi Village for meals and sightseeing. We even received complimentary tie-dye and photography sessions – what a pleasant surprise! We'd definitely love to come back if we have the chance.

After spending a few days in Haixi, my boyfriend and I came to Haidong for a day, and it was a really great experience. Next time, if I get the chance, I'd love to stay for a few more days. The staff service was also excellent.
