Granbell Hotel Colombo
"room was comfy with great sea view. the fitness room and jacuzzi were alright, but the infinity pool is not to be missed, especially during sunset hour! it was a great place to soak and relax after a long day of travelling. the location is very accessible, approx 300lkr for tuk tuk to nearby tourist spots."
NH Collection Colombo
"Sorry for reviewing . I suggest trip to take out this property from their listings. As prior the property named as movenpick hotels ,. We are in an illusion of the same legacy continues.. unfortunately we booked for two nights and fortunately we changed second day to other hotel, reason being Worst room service, no immediate attention of guests except security and few personals. Breakfast is not at all worth. NOT AT ALL. Rooms are huge and cleanliness is not at par as bed bugs can be seen. Don’t want to post pics as it devastates the house. Wish the best for NH and hope they look into the issues quick and sort.. thanks"
Mandarina Colombo
"it was a gd stay, we were stayed for 1 weeks, location is perfect, in front their is a big shopping mall n grocery shops n pharmacy is nearby, n many restaurants"
Cinnamon Grand Colombo
"good location, wonderful environment, warm services, friendly staffs,"
Amari Colombo Sri Lanka
"Had a wonderful stay at Amari Colombo. The rooms were very clean, the view was amazing, and the location is extremely convenient for getting anywhere around Colombo. The hospitality from everyone was exceptional."
Galle Face Hotel
"Galle face hotel is a perfect choice of hotel for me. Very clean and in a very accessible location. The food is really good and all the employees are very accomodating and respectful. Thank you Galle face hotel for making my stay very worth it."
Morven Hotel Colombo
"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, everything was perfect. The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The reception team especially made me feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout my stay. If you’re thinking about booking, don’t hesitate! this is a great place to stay!"
Sheraton Colombo Hotel
"Not bad at all. It was raining heavily in Bangladesh, and this hotel felt quite safe with good security. The staff were all very enthusiastic. The only downside was the humid weather, but the room was spacious and the air conditioning worked well."
Sofia Colombo City Hotel
"I stayed x3 nights. I felt very safe throughout my stay, which was most important to me as a solo traveler. The security staff were attentive and reassuring and the front desk team were always polite and friendly.Chef Anil (I hope I remembered the name correctly) was exceptionally kind, when I had an upset stomach, he made me a fresh lime juice that really helped. The buffet breakfast was amazing with plenty of variety, and house keeping kept everything clean and comfortable.Overall, a caring and welcoming hotel that made me feel truly looked after.Highly recommended."

Radisson Hotel Colombo
"The ocean is beautiful and close by, which is a plus. However, sometimes the rooms smell strongly of cigarette smoke, and it's a shame the windows don't open to air it out. On the bright side, the staff are friendly, and overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel."
Supun Arcade Residency
"The hotel service was excellent."
Mount Lavinia Hotel
"I had high expectations so many people told be what a fabulous hotel it is and probably what they meant was what it WAS. So much history but clearly it needs so much TLC and investment. No hot water most of the time and couldn't shower when I wanted to over the 3 days. When I first arrived I actually thought it looked closed down. A lobby empty no atmosphere no furniture and a dull desk. Poor staff what they have to work with. I actually hate to think what the back of house areas look like. Cold buffet for bfast as no burners on so opted for eggs made to order. I feel just so sorry for them but this poor hotel with so much history is sliding down the gutter unless someone takes it on. Rooms so tired and absolutely old minimal amenities in room. No bath mat, rusty bin just so sad. My rate not high so not worth complaining. One of the nights I booked late so was double but they clearly need the money. I gave feedback to staff but clearly he's used to it as he said nothing, don't even remember an apology just a glare of embarrassment. I wish I could recommend this hotel but I can't. Feel so bad because it has so much history. So hope an investor comes along because it could be amazing or more like the Galle Fort Hotel that has been well maintained."
Mirage Colombo
"Location: Right by the sea, with a train track directly downstairs. Cleanliness: Just average, similar to a budget motel in China. Service: The staff were very enthusiastic! Facilities: Poor soundproofing."
Shangri la Hotel Colombo
"Amazing hotel with amazing view."
Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams
"It’s okay but a lot of improvement is needed from the check in experience, as they are disorganised and need to understand the guest journey better."
Pegasus Reef - A Beach Resort in Colombo
"Had a really nice experience here. The location is a bit far from the city, but since we wanted a hotel closer to the airport, it was perfect for us. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. The hotel was clean and had many scenic spots in the property, especially the beautiful Kurulu Kele area. We also enjoyed the afternoon tea there, which was such a relaxing experience. The buffet was great with a good variety of food. We had both dinner and breakfast buffets, while lunch was à la carte, and honestly, that was great too. Our room was spacious with a lovely pool view. One of my favorite moments was watching the sunset from the hotel. Overall, it was a peaceful and memorable stay."
ITC Ratnadipa, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Colombo
"Loveliest staff .. we were accommodated in bestest way possible .. thanks to Mr Chaminda who rescued us when we had a small mishap .. but Alhamdulilah we had our best stay .. thanks to each and every single member of the staff"
Hilton Colombo Hotel
"Standard Hilton hotel in a country, staffs are generally great, breakfast buffer was good apart from one day the hotel have too many guest, we can even get a table in the restaurant !"
Jetwing Colombo Seven
"This hotel is in a very convenient location with a supermarket right in front of it. I think it's a great spot if you want to enjoy the city of Colombo. Even though I arrived late at night, the staff were very welcoming."
The Villa in Lavinia
"PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THE RATINGS OF THIS VILLA ANYWHERE! DO NOT CHOOSE TO STAY HERE UNLESS YOU’RE WILLING TO TAKE THE RISK! THE WORST PLACE I’VE EVER STAYED DURING A VACATION! 1) The location is completely isolated with nothing nearby—very deserted. 2) The Wi-Fi DOESN’T WORK at all, especially on the ground floor. 3) There's NO mobile signal—ZERO LTE/4G/5G. 4) The staff constantly ask what time you'll return if you go out late, seemingly because they want to sleep. 5) The toilet in the ground floor room (Room 3) is VERY smelly. 6) Most of the wall sockets in Room 3 on the ground floor don't work. 7) There's no elevator, so if you're staying on a higher floor, good luck carrying heavy luggage. 8) The supervisor/manager knocked on my door at 10 AM asking when I was checking out, despite our agreement the night before to check out at 11 AM. 9) The room is not soundproof. You can hear doors slamming or people chatting outside, even with your door closed, waking you up early."
The Kingsbury Colombo
"Facilities: It's an old hotel, but well-maintained, and the pool is quite nice. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Environment: Strong Christmas atmosphere, and there's always live performances in the lobby, which is amazing! In the morning after breakfast, I saw a young man playing the piano, and in the evening, there was a band playing. It was a great experience. Service: The doormen were all very welcoming. Five-star standard service!"
Colombo Court Hotel & Spa
"Great service, staff were very cordial"
Hilton Colombo Residence
"The hotel is great, the rooms are big, the hotel is close to the lake, and there is also a popular swimming pool. Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, the overall quality is very good, and the front desk service is particularly good"
Thilhara Colombo
"Basic room and bathroom. Cleanliness could be improved as the bathroom was old and dirty. Bed was just fine though the sheets looked worn out. There is nothing much in the small room. 1 bottle of water is provided. No kettle or instant tea/coffee in the room. The cupboards are old. Tv is fine. A/c gets too chill for the tiny room. The hotel corridors are old. The only good thing is the location. It’s in the centre of the city with everything at a walking distance like the Galle Face green malls restaurants and parks. There is a Keels supermarket at just 250meters from the hotel. The price I paid was $19 which is reasonable but I expected better quality. There are better hotels/hostels with fresh rooms at this price in Colombo."
MaRadha Colombo
"Hotel is amazing and the staff is very good and helpful. The view is amazing of the sea. Loved the stay"
