The restaurant is the weakest part of the hotel: the breakfast coffee was undrinkable unless we made a special request.. We ordered soup for room service and it took two hours to get to our room which was totally unacceptable.

Ramesh.UthMount Lavinia Hotel used to be so good - not anymore. AC's dont work properly. Phones in room dont work, they give a mobile number to call instead. House keeping takes ages to come. Not the Great hotel we once knew anymore.

It is very convenient to be next to La** Beach. The room is a bit old. The staff said it was opened around 2000. It is a bit old, but the service attitude is super good. I also like the breakfast. It is very cost-effective. I think I will choose here next time I come to Colombo

Excellentw location next to many great restaurants including Chilax. Nice uninterrupted view of the Indian ocean. Good aircon and ample hot water in the bathroom. Good WiFi throughout. It’s a bit loud from the passing trains even after the windows are closed. Rooftop view of the Indian ocean is really relaxing. Staff is nice and relaxed. We recommend.
