Exceptional hotel in remarkable location with private valley walk across the river. Beautifully designed and appointed rooms, stunning landscaping, amazing yet healthy breakfast with quality sourced vegetables and produce. Very attractive location on river. Nice public rooms / sitting area for calming tea on arrival . Or energising coffee … Attentive highly professional staff. Quiet and tranquil. A special place (yet it is expensive) but it is worth it for a very special stay. A place you can truly relax for a day or so.

A nice hotel, clean and beautiful rooms.
But be careful, it`s at the 7th floor of the building and there are no visible signs for it. It took me a while until I found it with the help of a local.
So, go to the address and take the panoramic elevator to the 7th floor.
The metro lines 1 and 2 are close, but not too close, you need to walk around 15-20 minutes to both.
What I did not liked is that the breakfast is not really breakfast, there are only some individually packed snacks, coffee, and some jiaozi/dumplings.

First time staying in Vienna, full marks for details💯:
1. The hotel environment is very good, the space is large, simple and elegant. We booked a parent-child room. The gentle front desk lady saw that there was only one breakfast, so she gave one directly, and the child was free. She handed over children's slippers and toothbrushes directly, and saw two, and took another one [snickering] with a very gentle attitude.
2. The big sister on the floor is very polite. When she greeted me, she was full of smiles. She was also careful and responsible when borrowing scissors from them to open the express delivery, fearing that there would be danger.
3. The breakfast is rich in variety and delicious, and they take good care of the children.
4. Laundry service. Just now, the big sister saw me holding a basket🧺 and told me that if I was in a hurry, I could write a room number, and the big sister would help wash and dry and send it to the room. When I arrived at the laundry room, the big sister was disinfecting the washing machine and dryer, and asked me if I couldn't wait, I could just write the room number. The attitude is also very good and warm.
5. The bedding in the room is great, it's so comfortable to sleep, hahaha, the toiletries are not inferior to those of a five-star hotel, I use laundry detergent to wash small clothes, awesome hahaha, super easy to use, I'm going to ask for the same one [breaks into laughter]

I still like the second brush very much, so I think it is worth writing more to recommend her home.
Last year, I took my children to live in her small courtyard by the creek. The little friends liked it very much. I heard that a new yard was launched this year. The children immediately had to come to the second brush as soon as they were on vacation, and they had to make an appointment with friends to go up the mountain to gather. Sure enough, the boss's sincerity and environmental quality did not disappoint! The new yard is on the side of the road, parking is convenient, and I feel very comfortable and like it when I enter the door. Many decorations and facilities heard from the boss that they were all handmade, very unique, and the details were very good. The cats and dogs in the small courtyard are very leisurely, very clingy, super good, and the baby can play for a long time. . It is also very convenient to cook by yourself. It is similar to home. The condiments of the boss's house are all Metro's, and there is no worry about eating for the baby. The heating is sufficient, and it is very comfortable at night in a rainy winter like Chongqing. Especially when I get up in the middle of the night, the hot water from the faucet comes out in seconds, which shows the boss's intentions. This rain did not use the oversized balcony fitness equipment and open-air bathtub a little regret, just as the next three brushes to leave some thoughts.

The room is a converted primary school, surrounded by cedar trees. Parking is available at the basketball court. The security guard helped carry the luggage up. Unfortunately, there were no waiters, only the security guard. I upgraded to a suite, which is quite large and has an outdoor pool to soak in. Unfortunately, there was something wrong with the shower head when we took a shower and the water was very small. The owner is very enthusiastic and will solve any problems promptly. We had to go to the restaurant opposite for dinner. It rained, and the owner came over to give us an umbrella.

首先非常感謝前台管家給升級了房型，為生日之旅更添美好，實在受寵若驚非常感激。🥹我們下榻民宿的時間頗晚，在附近吃過晚餐才前來（後面才知道民宿的餐飲品質也很不錯，下次一定體驗！），夜深山裏很黑不便於認路，硬着頭皮給前台打電話，沒想到小姐姐特別耐心，怕我們辨不清路更主動說給我們加聯繫方式打視頻，好感度倍增。
平時出去玩都會詳細做攻略安排行程，這是第一次說走就走的南山之行。App推薦了這裏，性價比高、地理位置又好，訂好房間便即日前行。沒想到超預期這是一間非常棒的民宿，無論服務與環境，讓我們的旅途更加充實圓滿。
登記過後管家小姐姐便貼心引導，一路帶我們到房間位置。踏進民宿內庭一看，簡直太喜歡了，古色古香、宋韻風格。朋友特別喜歡宋朝，誤打誤撞找到這裏，更是緣分，也是我們的榮幸。到房間還有歡迎水果，品種多且新鮮，一點都不含糊，盡顯貼心。放下行囊便迫不及待到庭院參觀，流水潺潺，竹影婆娑，一幀一幕映入眼帘，我都忘了一個多小時前我還置身於鬧市中。
房間名是「含笑」，房型為45平方米，備有卧室休息間、茶室、乾濕分離的洗漱區域及露台區域。這個房間住得很舒適，非常推薦。房間有全套的泡茶工具加上一整個書櫃的書本可供閱讀，書畫作品亦是賞心悅目，光是在房間度過整個午後時光也是非常愜意。
露台看向植物園的美景，更備有小桌椅可在外麪享受日光浴，空氣清新宜人，足不出戶便可以享受大自然帶來的溫暖和美好。
淋浴間配有暖氣，水壓很穩定，既熱熱水也不需要漫長等候，花灑分了三檔出水，也有頂噴模式 ，吹風機是dyson的，床褥舒適度非常高，連枕頭都配有兩款，處處都盡顯心思。
早餐是中式的，非常豐富多樣性。在陽光房悠閑地吃上一碗清粥配小鹹菜，簡單而純粹。
我覺得說是賓至如歸倒還貶低了民宿，因為比鬧市中的家舒服太多。「久在樊籠裏，復得返自然」，見山水、尋自己，衹有在這樣的環境心境才能得到真正的平靜。無論服務、環境與食物都是我無可挑剔的，更甚於部分的五星級酒店。
人生中美好的時光總是需要慢慢探索與積累，不經意的選擇讓我度過了幸福的一天，能和椿山悅的相遇是我的幸運，這裏也會是我很推薦的民宿之一。很期待下一次的相遇，非常感謝！☺️

This B&B is only a two-hour drive from the main city, about 130 kilometers. In addition to enjoying the tranquility of living here, you can also choose to drive to nearby Simian Mountain, Zhongshan Ancient Town, Huilongzhuang, Twins Village and other places to experience the different local culture.

This trip was rainy, rainy, rainy. The weather forecast said there would be rain during May Day, and it was indeed very cold this time. But the mountain scenery in the rain has a special flavor, haha, there is a spooky feeling everywhere, which slightly affects the mood of taking photos and activities...
Overall, the price/performance ratio of this B&B is pretty good, but it's a bit of a pity that the projector in the room cannot be used to cast the screen to watch TV. But being able to wake up in the forest is already a rare experience! 🌲

The hotel is in excellent location just a few minutes walk to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Clock Tower, that makes us decided to booked this accommodation which claimed to be a hotel but in fact is more like a service apartment. The staffs at the reception counter were friendly, helpful and informative.
The type of room we booked was “Extreme Floating Island Twin Room” which mentioned in Trip.com the room size is 38sqm to 43sqm. To our disappointment, when we check into our room, we felt that the room size is much smaller that was mentioned😫😫. To add up to our disappointment, the access by lifts to the rooms on each floor absolutely have no security to the guests at all. Outsiders can easily access to any of the floors without problem. On several occasions we bumped into deliveries guys in the lift with us. To make things worse, each floor has a public toilet outside with the door always open in which the staffs claimed it for the convenience of the guests!!! I think is a cheap excuse!! I guessed is more for their hotel staffs and cleaners on each floor. In my opinion, if the guests can make it to their room floor during urgency to the toilet, why not use their own room toilet?? for more comfort, cleaner and more hygienic correct?? How do you feel as a guest where you have to pass by a public toilet with door always open each time you go in and out of your room?? Very disappointed with this strange set up.

Located in the Jiefangbei heart of Chongqing, this hotel has a very perfect location. The address itself is at Ba Yi road. The road in A-Z food variant. This is a pedestrian street with no vehicle pass through, except grab food motorcycles. It is a very crowded street. The night later it gets the more crowded it gets. But fortunately the hotel has a good soundproof quality, so we can still rest quietly. Thanks to Christ Xiao, the Front office supervisor (I think), who made our check-in process smooth. Your English speaking ability is very assisting us. We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel room is spacious enough, but lacks of wardrobe. Breakfast is very moderate. Not many meal options. But the Breakfast room is on the 29th floor, which becomes a bar at night with 360 degree slow moving so we can enjoy the Chongqing city view from top. Very nice service. The hotel is near the metro station, with a 5 minutes walk. There is a free laundry service that is very helpful for long tourists like us. Overall, it is a very pleasant hotel for our China trip in Chongqing.

The resort's accommodations are a true delight – beautifully designed rooms that effortlessly combine sleek, contemporary aesthetics with the warmth and character of the local countryside. The attention to detail is truly impressive, creating a sense of tranquility and authenticity that is all too rare in today's hospitality landscape.
One of the standout features of my stay was the opportunity to explore the entire village on my last night. Navigating the winding paths felt like stepping into an adventure game, with new discoveries at every turn. The sense of wonder and excitement I felt was akin to being a child again, truly immersed in the magic of the mountain setting.
The service at Longmen Pu Village is equally impressive. Prior to my arrival, I had connected with the customer service team on WeChat, and they were well-prepared and attentive to my needs. Upon check-in, I was welcomed with delectable local Chongqing specialties, a delightful introduction to the culinary delights that awaited me.
The highlight of my stay, however, was the opportunity to enjoy the stunning sunsets from various vantage points around the resort, cigar in hand and fresh fruit nearby. These moments of peaceful contemplation, immersed in the beauty of the mountains, will be etched in my memory forever.
Beyond the breathtaking views, the resort also offered engaging activities that allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local culture. I had the privilege of learning the art of potting plants and marveling at the impressive bonsai tree collection, a true treat for a plant enthusiast like myself. The calligraphy session at the on-site tea house was also a wonderful experience, providing a moment of tranquil meditation amidst the adventure.
While I would recommend Longmen Pu Village to any traveler seeking a unique and authentic escape, I would advise international guests to have a basic understanding of the Chinese language or be prepared to utilize translation apps. This slight challenge, however, is well worth the reward of experiencing this remarkable resort.
In conclusion, Longmen Pu Village is a true gem, a resort that has masterfully preserved the local charm and flavor of Chongqing's stunning mountain region. GGuest UserJust finished a five night stay at The Regent Chongqing, was one of the best hotel experiences ever.
Arrived at the start of the national three day Duanwu Dragon Boat Festival and was warmly greeted with two tasty green bean cake pastries in a traditional wood basket as a welcome amenity in the room.
Breakfast has an abundance of options, everything fresh and delicious.
Ate at the third floor Chinese restaurant twice and the dishes there are truly outstanding, some of the best tasting dishes I’ve ever tasted in Sichuan province and also rated as the second best restaurant in Chongqing on this website. Compared to some of the top tier restaurants in cities like Beijing and Shanghai, also very reasonably priced and affordable.
What’s really nice is the hotel offers complimentary laundry service for up to three pieces per day which I thought was a very thoughtful service. Mini bar in hotel room also completely free and restocked daily. Water pressure in room’s shower was also very strong which made showering very enjoyable.
Hospitality is really on another level here. During the stay I experienced:
- A small soft cloth wipe was left next to my laptop since the staff noticed my laptop screen was a bit dirty
- Staff during breakfast would go out of there way to ask if I wanted or needed assistance in preparing a bowl of noodles, per my request they kindly prepared one for me with the most popular condiments used by locals
- One of the chefs during breakfast made it known if there was anything at all I wanted him to specially prepare for me he would gladly do it
- Same chef (Mr. Swong), when he found out I would be departing for a day trip the next morning from the hotel at a very early hour (earlier than when the hotel breakfast dining would be open) made it be known that he would make arrangements for the hotel to prepare a bag of anything I wanted from the breakfast buffet to take with me so I could eat it in the car. Sure enough, the next morning at the front desk reception there was a bag waiting for me containing various fresh fruit, a hard boiled egg, sticky rice, orange juice, banana, water, utensils. When I walked outside to the car that had arrived to pick me up, both the driver and tour guide remarked they had never seen a hotel ever do this for a guest and that this must be a really exceptional hotel.
- A complimentary bowl of fresh fruit was delivered and left in my room
- Upon check-out, received an immaculately wrapped gift box of Chongqing Small Noodles (dried, uncooked) which was accompanied by a specially prepared locally made peppercorn noodle sauce (wrapped in plastic), was actually the perfect gift since my Mom loves noodles and to see her face so happy and joyful upon receiving this gift brought me much happiness
Everywhere in the hotel, from the hotel front desk staff, the bellboys and staff working outside the front door, the staff at the 7th floor bar, the staff at the breakfast dining, to the staff on the 3rd floor Chinese restaurant, was treated so warmly and courteously and staff so helpful and thoughtful too.
Victoria was especially gracious and helpful as when I arrived, I didn’t know where to eat and after asking me a few questions with regards to my tastes and kind of ambiance I would like in a restaurant, she recommended a very popular local Chongqing Hot Pot restaurant just a few minutes away. This turned out to be great recommendation as the flavor of the hot pot was really great and the environment was more of a ‘hole in the wall’ place, very raucous and rowdy, just what I was looking for. She would also periodically check in to see if everything was going okay and if there was anything she could assist with. Will always be grateful to Victoria and the staff at Regent Chongqing for making my first trip to Chongqing so unforgettable and full of wonderful memories.

This is a brand-new hotel with excellent facilities—everything is modern, clean, and well-maintained. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make both local(me) and international (my hubby)feel welcome and comfortable.
One of the highlights was the attentive housekeeper, who was always polite and thoughtful. She even reminded us to take extra water whenever I was heading out. The location is also very convenient, with plenty of delicious restaurants just downstairs, making it easy to enjoy the local cuisine.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my stay at Orange Crystal Hotel. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

The building has many cool shops as well including the 云端之眼 which has a panoramic view of the city. Someone mentioned in the comments that the slippers “cost” ¥30, but it’s actually free as long as you don’t take it away.

Social/communal area is nice, plus there's a little rooftop where you can hang laundry. Good wifi in all areas. Bathrooms are fine, the bed was hard but comfortable enough. Only issue is that there's no doors between rooms (only curtains) and no lockers, so it isn't the most secure, however I still felt pretty safe. Overall very good value and a nice stay.

DDerickOverall, as stated by many other reviews, this hotel is the value-for-money champion. Personally, I would rate if a hotel were a real five star hotel or simply a 'self-proclaimed' five star hotel based on the service rendered. Le Meridien Chongqing excelled in this aspect. Every staff member I had interacted with was friendly and warm.
Check-in: Was swift and unlike many chinese hotels which are distrusting of their customers, they did not ask for a deposit. Saves the hassle.
Room: It was spacious, I had previously read some other reviews which complained about the red cupboard at the entrance was terrifying, but personally I liked the chinese style decor. The aircon was slightly noisy and not the most effective, but I liked sleeping in a slightly cooler room. The bed was comfortable, although one side seemed to be more 'slept in' than the other, possibly a sign of the hotel's age. I did also notice some stains and wear and tear in the room but it was nothing serious so I will let that slide. The greatest sign of wear and tear is the shower head, which although was Hansgrohe branded, felt like it was about to break when I tried to change the shower mode. Toiletries were from the Malin+Goetz brand, which I really liked! But of course, ThisWorks branded ones used by Marriott hotels are slightly better.
Facilities: There was an indoor pool and a well-equipped gym- with a smith machine, something that is not available in some 5 star hotels. Impressive!
Breakfast: This was the greatest let down in the stay experience. As I was going up the lift, I noticed a sign stating that breakfast was on promotion at 68RMB per person. That could not mean anything good. The breakfast experience was cut to the bone. There were almost no hot cooked food options, except from basics such as eggs, toast, cooked chongqing noodles(plain) and dumplings. There is simply no way that this acceptable as a 5 star hotel breakfast, something that seems to be mentioned by other reviewers.
Other hotel restaurants- Not too sure why I bothered to try out the other hotel restaurants after the disappointing breakfast but, the chinese restaurant served food that was tasty, but the so-called ala-carte buffet was not great. The food options seemed like leftovers from another hotel buffet or something, and I counted a total of 5 pieces of beef when I ordered the dish 'black pepper beef'. Service was good and seemed well-intentioned though, although they seemed puzzled that I was not ordering more-- The food was not good!
Location: Located in Nan'an, I had chosen this hotel as it offered better value for money than its 5 star competitors in JieFangBei or the Conrad. It was also located in front of a Rail Transit station although I only used it once since the trains were crowded and it was quicker to grab a DiDi around. I think the biggest plus regarding its location is the adjacent Wanda Plaza, which had everything from a Sephora, Uniqlo and many other shops. I regretted not visiting it first before hopping on the train.
To summarise, I would recommend a first time visitor to Chongqing to stay in this hotel, but would I visit it again? Perhaps not, as I would like to try out other options in Chongqing that are newer, and can provide better breakfasts.

It would just be important to indicate which metro exit is closest and easiest due to luggage (exit 4). Regarding the room, it was a great stay with a clean room and a stunning view.
