Exceptional hotel in remarkable location with private valley walk across the river. Beautifully designed and appointed rooms, stunning landscaping, amazing yet healthy breakfast with quality sourced vegetables and produce. Very attractive location on river. Nice public rooms / sitting area for calming tea on arrival . Or energising coffee … Attentive highly professional staff. Quiet and tranquil. A special place (yet it is expensive) but it is worth it for a very special stay. A place you can truly relax for a day or so.

A nice hotel, clean and beautiful rooms.
But be careful, it`s at the 7th floor of the building and there are no visible signs for it. It took me a while until I found it with the help of a local.
So, go to the address and take the panoramic elevator to the 7th floor.
The metro lines 1 and 2 are close, but not too close, you need to walk around 15-20 minutes to both.
What I did not liked is that the breakfast is not really breakfast, there are only some individually packed snacks, coffee, and some jiaozi/dumplings.

The front desk service was very good, and we upgraded to a street view room! The lighting was great! I turned on the Do Not Disturb function and hoped that they would not enter the room to clean, but the waiter still entered the room to clean! After I told the front desk, they did not enter! The air conditioner was cool, and the shower water pressure was great! Give me a 👍! It would be perfect if the TV could cast the screen!

Last year, I took my children to live in her small courtyard by the creek. The little friends liked it very much. I heard that a new yard was launched this year. The children immediately had to come to the second brush as soon as they were on vacation, and they had to make an appointment with friends to go up the mountain to gather. Sure enough, the boss's sincerity and environmental quality did not disappoint! The new yard is on the side of the road, parking is convenient, and I feel very comfortable and like it when I enter the door. Many decorations and facilities heard from the boss that they were all handmade, very unique, and the details were very good. The cats and dogs in the small courtyard are very leisurely, very clingy, super good, and the baby can play for a long time. . It is also very convenient to cook by yourself. It is similar to home. The condiments of the boss's house are all Metro's, and there is no worry about eating for the baby. The heating is sufficient, and it is very comfortable at night in a rainy winter like Chongqing. Especially when I get up in the middle of the night, the hot water from the faucet comes out in seconds, which shows the boss's intentions. This rain did not use the oversized balcony fitness equipment and open-air bathtub a little regret, just as the next three brushes to leave some thoughts.

The living environment is comfortable, quiet and the air is good. You can watch the European Cup at night. The boss is enthusiastic and please drink 8+1. The atmosphere is very good. In the morning, every place in the dining is a more comfortable view, and the mood is very relaxed. We passed from Nanchong and a family of three changed places for the festival. There are hot pot on the mountain, Chinese food, spring chicken down the mountain, convenient food, Nanshan place is really good for relaxation, but also come 😄

First of all, the location of the hotel is TERRIFIC!!! You step out the door and it is the streetfood street. Very convenient when you wish to grab a quick snack. You could find us there every night. So location good for foodies.
But the location is the only thing that I would recommend about this hotel. The view from the hotelroom is nothing special, except if you choose the landmark room, which still only give you view to the landmark, so in my opinion it’s just an okay view. Except if you room is higher up, then the view will be about better. Otherwise you will look at the landmark and against buildings.
There is a spinning restaurant, which we have enjoyed for a night when receiving the free cocktail, but the view is pretty. View photo included in review is the view from the spinning restaurant at the top floor
It is a young hotel. Not only referring to that it is new, but also the employees working there. Young personnel and do sometimes notice the lack of experience. During check out it is a mad house. Everyone standing (not in line) in front of the front desk to check out. I was trying to stand in line to ask a question and an auntie went in front of me. I told her there was a line and she said she only had to check out and the hotel employee at the desk allowed, however, auntie did not only need to check out, but had a question about her points and took longer because she needed to look up her points…. A tip for the hotel is to work on how to organize the check out, since I do expect more from a 4 star hotel…
Some other things I noticed about the hotel:
- Keycard does not always work very well in elevator. Saw more guest struggling so it was not only our cards.
- Glass door to bathroom which can make quite awkward! We are a couple so it was okay for us, but it was really quite transparent! It was still kind of awkward seeing your partner pooping while you were brushing your teeth, because the sink was right in front of the door…. I imagine this would be really awkward for friends, relatives or someone travelling with older kids. Also there is a gap between door and ceiling so smell easily go out of bathroom….
- Sound insulation from outside not good. We were first put on 14th floor (for those superstitious, yes they use 14 because it is an international hotel. For me that was not a problem) we could hear the sounds from outside because we were half facing the streetfood street. At night could be a bit annoying when staying in the room te relax. Later on we were put on the 26th floor and we could not here it anymore.
We informed our hotel that it was our honeymoon and because we were there on Halloween, they provided a basket with masks and dress up things, which I imagine it was because of Halloween. However, as a newlywed that informed you that was on honeymoon, the basket with black lace dress up products, gave quite weird message 😂 black lace eye mask with back lace folding fan.
Overall, really loved the location and it was indeed very clean. The shared washing machines also was not smelly since it was new. They also have a robot bringing the food. But for the same price, I might opt for something else in the neighbourhood with better view and bigger rooms. There are A LOT of hotels in the vicinity.

Very close to the city and the airport, Pucun made me feel why Chongqing is called a mountain city. It is really a good place to relax after the hustle and bustle! It was such a surprise. Although it was only two days and one night, the boss's design aesthetic and the B&B experience on the terraced slopes allowed us to experience many different beautiful scenery. The room is simple and has good facilities and equipment. The Dyson hair dryer is very comfortable. I like it very much. It is warm and high-end! Experience the chirping of the robin during the day, and fall asleep to the sound of frogs at night, as well as the bamboo forest among the pines. It just happened to rain in Chongqing. The clouds and mist in the mountains in the morning and the new rain in the empty mountains were very healing. Chongqing is really charming! Chongqing has 3D and is also a mountain city! The ingredients picked in Pucun are hard to come by. The plums just came out recently, so sweet! The butler was attentive and accompanying me throughout the whole process, very considerate! I like Pucun very much and will come to Pucun next time!

AAaron FillerGreat location, one of the few hostels in the CBD so quite central; ＜10mins walk to the metro 15mins to Jiefengbei. The owner is very kind and helpful. Social/communal area is nice, plus there's a little rooftop where you can hang laundry. Good wifi in all areas. Bathrooms are fine, the bed was hard but comfortable enough. Only issue is that there's no doors between rooms (only curtains) and no lockers, so it isn't the most secure, however I still felt pretty safe. Overall very good value and a nice stay.

Massive bathtub. Soft mattress. Excellent service. My only notes would be to add some towel or robe hooks in the bathroom and to give a tag for the door if you want room service or ”do not disturb”. Highly recommend. I will stay here if I ever come to Chongqing again.

CChenwenjingI renewed my reservation. It is very close to Chongqing West Railway Station, 3.4 km away, and 1 km away from the three subway stations of Shangqiao, Fengxi, and Fengmingshan. It is 4.5 km away from Shapingba District Railway Station. The hotel is in the community, with teahouses, hot pot restaurants, rice noodles, pork trotter rice, Internet cafes, supermarkets, and milk tea shops. The hotel is clean, large, and affordable, with thoughtful service and the boss is easy to talk to. It is available on call. All requests can be met. Hongya Cave Cultural Center
悟悟-yzjHongyadong, also known as Hongyandong, Shenxiandong, and Hongyamen, is a tourist area with sightseeing, leisure and vacation functions. It is located at No. 88, Jialingjiang Binjiang Road, Yuzhong District, Chongqing. It is located in the riverside area where the Yangtze River and Jialing River meet. During the Warring States Period (316 BC), Hongyadong was a military fortress. During the Song Dynasty, Hongyadong was a grotto temple. Hongya was built on top of Hongyadong, which was originally an open door. In the fourth year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1371), Dai Ding rebuilt Chongqing City and built nine open and eight closed gates. Hongyamen was a closed gate, and Hongyadong became one with it. Hongyadong had become a commercial district in the Ming Dynasty, and developed into a prosperous wharf in the Qing Dynasty, belonging to the trade center of Chongqing. Ciqikou
