The hotel is in a great location, very close to the Tiansheng Three Bridges, and the room is spacious, but there is a faint smell of sewage in the bathroom. I asked to change the room, and I had to wait for the waiter to check and confirm. My husband went up and down the stairs three times, and finally changed the room with a balcony to a small window. The hotel accepts group business, and breakfast is all group guests. It is difficult to get a seat, which is very embarrassing!

The location is near the tourist center which has coaches to fairy mountain and three bridges. We had 2 drivers who drove the 8 of us around. We had 2 above 65, which gets you free entry and 2 between 60 and 65 ehich gets half price admission fees. Students also get discounted rates. Remember to use them if any of these are in your group.
Food to try - soy bean curd, noodles (most of them are delicious), avoid the meats as they are generally tough, but vege are excellent

The accommodation is a Homestay. From the Tourist Center, walk out the back where there is a road, turn right and walk for about 5 minutes. The name of the apartment is a little hard to find. Notice the English name attached to it is Leya because if you look at it in Chinese it will be very difficult to see. The room is very clean. The beds in the room can sleep up to 5 people. The beds are spacious and soft. Sleep comfortably. Drinking water will be a small bottle. Must buy more from the store. Good location, can walk to the tourist center and nearby are many restaurants. It's a point where tour companies take customers to eat in this area. If there's a chance, I'll go back and stay again.

Friendly and helpful staff. Remote ran out of battery and they were quick to offer assistance
Toilet had a sewage smell although it looked and felt clean. However it wasn't too big of an issue because the smell does not spread to the room.
Some of the sockets beside the bed were broken & not functional, but most of it still worked.
Good location as it's right next to the bus terminal to go to the three bridges & fairy mountain. Easily accessible & a really short walk from Fairy Mountain Tourist Stop.

Very good service. The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic. The equipment in the room is of high quality and all the details are in place. It is very comfortable to stay. Although there was heavy rain and lightning in Chongqing at night, which caused a power outage in the morning, the housekeeper immediately explained and cooked the food. The hot porridge makes travelers feel warm. Before leaving, they also gave us 2 bags of snacks for us to enjoy on the way!
In the evening, I walked for about 10 minutes to a small restaurant called ”Spicy Spicy” near Golden Horse Square. The farm-style potato rice was very delicious! A very thoughtful B&B, highly recommended!

The room is old and the facilities are a bit damaged. After all, this price is acceptable. I don't want to say more about the others. But one thing I can't bear is hygiene. The cleaning is really careless. The door should be a few pieces of watermelon skin that the last round of residents have eaten. The bugs are crawling on it. The sofa in the living room is sitting on it. The cushion is actually wet. The overall feeling is that the cleaning is just the linen of the room.

The moment I stepped into this Villa, I immediate fall in love. Classy and ellegantly decorated.
The lady in charge has taken care of everything nicely and efficiently. Despite the fact that I cannot speak chinese and the lady of the house whp is in charge cannot speak english, we still can communicate by using Translator. 🤣😜. But I liked it.
As a Dutch giy travelling in unorganized tour abroad, I love the challenge so I can learn new thinhs and broaden my horizon into different cultures.
My room is nice and has balcony. Bed is perfect. I can crowl under the soft warm blanket.
Tpilet is a High Tech with Remote Control.
The robe provided in the room is so soft and warm your body too..

Free pick up service from the tourist centre (less than 10min ride) from 8am - 7pm. Was OK, but no food around the area so either you get it from the town before going to the hotel or order food from the hotel itself. Did the latter and the food was really homely and yummy (affordable as well).
The reception also operates like a mini convenience store if you’d like to get cup noodles/snacks :-)

I drove to Wulong with my friends. The villa is located in a relatively high area of Fairy Mountain, 5 minutes' drive from the town and relatively quiet. The clerk is warm and friendly, and will cook noodles for the guests in the morning. The room is very spacious and clean, and the room facilities are very new. The surrounding facilities are a bit poor, for example, it would be perfect if there were tram charging stations. Overall, I am very satisfied. I will give priority to booking here next time I come to Wulong.

The resort's accommodations are a true delight – beautifully designed rooms that effortlessly combine sleek, contemporary aesthetics with the warmth and character of the local countryside. The attention to detail is truly impressive, creating a sense of tranquility and authenticity that is all too rare in today's hospitality landscape.
One of the standout features of my stay was the opportunity to explore the entire village on my last night. Navigating the winding paths felt like stepping into an adventure game, with new discoveries at every turn. The sense of wonder and excitement I felt was akin to being a child again, truly immersed in the magic of the mountain setting.
The service at Longmen Pu Village is equally impressive. Prior to my arrival, I had connected with the customer service team on WeChat, and they were well-prepared and attentive to my needs. Upon check-in, I was welcomed with delectable local Chongqing specialties, a delightful introduction to the culinary delights that awaited me.
The highlight of my stay, however, was the opportunity to enjoy the stunning sunsets from various vantage points around the resort, cigar in hand and fresh fruit nearby. These moments of peaceful contemplation, immersed in the beauty of the mountains, will be etched in my memory forever.
Beyond the breathtaking views, the resort also offered engaging activities that allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local culture. I had the privilege of learning the art of potting plants and marveling at the impressive bonsai tree collection, a true treat for a plant enthusiast like myself. The calligraphy session at the on-site tea house was also a wonderful experience, providing a moment of tranquil meditation amidst the adventure.
While I would recommend Longmen Pu Village to any traveler seeking a unique and authentic escape, I would advise international guests to have a basic understanding of the Chinese language or be prepared to utilize translation apps. This slight challenge, however, is well worth the reward of experiencing this remarkable resort.

GGuest UserJust finished a five night stay at The Regent Chongqing, was one of the best hotel experiences ever.
Arrived at the start of the national three day Duanwu Dragon Boat Festival and was warmly greeted with two tasty green bean cake pastries in a traditional wood basket as a welcome amenity in the room.
Breakfast has an abundance of options, everything fresh and delicious.
Ate at the third floor Chinese restaurant twice and the dishes there are truly outstanding, some of the best tasting dishes I’ve ever tasted in Sichuan province and also rated as the second best restaurant in Chongqing on this website. Compared to some of the top tier restaurants in cities like Beijing and Shanghai, also very reasonably priced and affordable.
What’s really nice is the hotel offers complimentary laundry service for up to three pieces per day which I thought was a very thoughtful service. Mini bar in hotel room also completely free and restocked daily. Water pressure in room’s shower was also very strong which made showering very enjoyable.
Hospitality is really on another level here. During the stay I experienced:
- A small soft cloth wipe was left next to my laptop since the staff noticed my laptop screen was a bit dirty
- Staff during breakfast would go out of there way to ask if I wanted or needed assistance in preparing a bowl of noodles, per my request they kindly prepared one for me with the most popular condiments used by locals
- One of the chefs during breakfast made it known if there was anything at all I wanted him to specially prepare for me he would gladly do it
- Same chef (Mr. Swong), when he found out I would be departing for a day trip the next morning from the hotel at a very early hour (earlier than when the hotel breakfast dining would be open) made it be known that he would make arrangements for the hotel to prepare a bag of anything I wanted from the breakfast buffet to take with me so I could eat it in the car. Sure enough, the next morning at the front desk reception there was a bag waiting for me containing various fresh fruit, a hard boiled egg, sticky rice, orange juice, banana, water, utensils. When I walked outside to the car that had arrived to pick me up, both the driver and tour guide remarked they had never seen a hotel ever do this for a guest and that this must be a really exceptional hotel.
- A complimentary bowl of fresh fruit was delivered and left in my room
- Upon check-out, received an immaculately wrapped gift box of Chongqing Small Noodles (dried, uncooked) which was accompanied by a specially prepared locally made peppercorn noodle sauce (wrapped in plastic), was actually the perfect gift since my Mom loves noodles and to see her face so happy and joyful upon receiving this gift brought me much happiness
Everywhere in the hotel, from the hotel front desk staff, the bellboys and staff working outside the front door, the staff at the 7th floor bar, the staff at the breakfast dining, to the staff on the 3rd floor Chinese restaurant, was treated so warmly and courteously and staff so helpful and thoughtful too.
Victoria was especially gracious and helpful as when I arrived, I didn’t know where to eat and after asking me a few questions with regards to my tastes and kind of ambiance I would like in a restaurant, she recommended a very popular local Chongqing Hot Pot restaurant just a few minutes away. This turned out to be great recommendation as the flavor of the hot pot was really great and the environment was more of a ‘hole in the wall’ place, very raucous and rowdy, just what I was looking for. She would also periodically check in to see if everything was going okay and if there was anything she could assist with. Will always be grateful to Victoria and the staff at Regent Chongqing for making my first trip to Chongqing so unforgettable and full of wonderful memories.

AAlicia LaiI have been stayed at Orange Crystal Hotel for three nights, and it was an exceptional experience. This is a brand-new hotel with excellent facilities—everything is modern, clean, and well-maintained. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make both local(me) and international (my hubby)feel welcome and comfortable.
One of the highlights was the attentive housekeeper, who was always polite and thoughtful. She even reminded us to take extra water whenever I was heading out. The location is also very convenient, with plenty of delicious restaurants just downstairs, making it easy to enjoy the local cuisine.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my stay at Orange Crystal Hotel. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

The building has many cool shops as well including the 云端之眼 which has a panoramic view of the city. Someone mentioned in the comments that the slippers “cost” ¥30, but it’s actually free as long as you don’t take it away.

AAaron travelingExcellent condition with a touch of luxury. We are very impressed and felt fortunate that we could booked this hotel at such a great price. The location is near several malls and the biggest one is raffles city which is located just opposite the hotel. The view from our window is excellent especially the night view. It is so convenient that you could get everything you needed just right outside of the hotel. The receptionist communicates with guest through WeChat and whatever we needed will be sent immediately to our room. The only downside is that we have to change lift at the 30th floor to go to our room at the 32 floor. The lift could get crowded at times. We will definitely come back again to stay if we visit Chong Qing again.

It offers a stunning view of either the city or river and buildings.
They provide all the basic things in addition to 2 types of slippers, a projector with China channels.
What I loved most is the control on both sides of the bed, including power driven curtains.
There are also Pre set Mode (ambiance light, sleeping, bright, etc), very convenient.
The basin and toilet/shower is separate, so it can be used simultaneously.

Located in the Jiefangbei heart of Chongqing, this hotel has a very perfect location. The address itself is at Ba Yi road. The road in A-Z food variant. This is a pedestrian street with no vehicle pass through, except grab food motorcycles. It is a very crowded street. The night later it gets the more crowded it gets. But fortunately the hotel has a good soundproof quality, so we can still rest quietly. Thanks to Christ Xiao, the Front office supervisor (I think), who made our check-in process smooth. Your English speaking ability is very assisting us. We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel room is spacious enough, but lacks of wardrobe. Breakfast is very moderate. Not many meal options. But the Breakfast room is on the 29th floor, which becomes a bar at night with 360 degree slow moving so we can enjoy the Chongqing city view from top. Very nice service. The hotel is near the metro station, with a 5 minutes walk. There is a free laundry service that is very helpful for long tourists like us. Overall, it is a very pleasant hotel for our China trip in Chongqing.

DDerickOverall, as stated by many other reviews, this hotel is the value-for-money champion. Personally, I would rate if a hotel were a real five star hotel or simply a 'self-proclaimed' five star hotel based on the service rendered. Le Meridien Chongqing excelled in this aspect. Every staff member I had interacted with was friendly and warm.
Check-in: Was swift and unlike many chinese hotels which are distrusting of their customers, they did not ask for a deposit. Saves the hassle.
Room: It was spacious, I had previously read some other reviews which complained about the red cupboard at the entrance was terrifying, but personally I liked the chinese style decor. The aircon was slightly noisy and not the most effective, but I liked sleeping in a slightly cooler room. The bed was comfortable, although one side seemed to be more 'slept in' than the other, possibly a sign of the hotel's age. I did also notice some stains and wear and tear in the room but it was nothing serious so I will let that slide. The greatest sign of wear and tear is the shower head, which although was Hansgrohe branded, felt like it was about to break when I tried to change the shower mode. Toiletries were from the Malin+Goetz brand, which I really liked! But of course, ThisWorks branded ones used by Marriott hotels are slightly better.
Facilities: There was an indoor pool and a well-equipped gym- with a smith machine, something that is not available in some 5 star hotels. Impressive!
Breakfast: This was the greatest let down in the stay experience. As I was going up the lift, I noticed a sign stating that breakfast was on promotion at 68RMB per person. That could not mean anything good. The breakfast experience was cut to the bone. There were almost no hot cooked food options, except from basics such as eggs, toast, cooked chongqing noodles(plain) and dumplings. There is simply no way that this acceptable as a 5 star hotel breakfast, something that seems to be mentioned by other reviewers.
Other hotel restaurants- Not too sure why I bothered to try out the other hotel restaurants after the disappointing breakfast but, the chinese restaurant served food that was tasty, but the so-called ala-carte buffet was not great. The food options seemed like leftovers from another hotel buffet or something, and I counted a total of 5 pieces of beef when I ordered the dish 'black pepper beef'. Service was good and seemed well-intentioned though, although they seemed puzzled that I was not ordering more-- The food was not good!
Location: Located in Nan'an, I had chosen this hotel as it offered better value for money than its 5 star competitors in JieFangBei or the Conrad. It was also located in front of a Rail Transit station although I only used it once since the trains were crowded and it was quicker to grab a DiDi around. I think the biggest plus regarding its location is the adjacent Wanda Plaza, which had everything from a Sephora, Uniqlo and many other shops. I regretted not visiting it first before hopping on the train.
To summarise, I would recommend a first time visitor to Chongqing to stay in this hotel, but would I visit it again? Perhaps not, as I would like to try out other options in Chongqing that are newer, and can provide better breakfasts.
