Pan Pacific Suzhou ★★★★★
"Objectively speaking, the room view and hotel service were impeccable. However, it's truly a shame that such a large hotel only has one delivery robot. After ordering food, having to wait fifty minutes for it to arrive was maddening. The service department, though, had an excellent attitude. They gave me a coffee voucher and were very polite, answering all my questions. The second time, even though I didn't ask them to deliver my meal, they still thoughtfully brought it to me in advance. So, I think the human aspect of the service is quite good. But I urge the hotel's procurement department and management to approve the purchase of enough delivery robots to support guest traffic, thereby elevating the service experience. The experience at Rui Mian inside the hotel was also very good. While the prices are definitely not budget-friendly, considering the ambiance, the dishes, and the service attitude, I personally believe it offers good value for money."
Suzhou City Holiday Hotel (Shiquan Street Wangshi Garden) ★★★★
"The service was excellent. When the air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night, they immediately moved us to a new room. The next day, it was really hot, and they even allowed us a late check-out."
Mercure Suzhou City Center ★★★★
"The location is fantastic, right across from Pingjiang Road with tons of restaurants nearby, making it super convenient for eating and exploring. The ambiance is elegant, and the room is quite spacious and comfortable. The location truly is the best; you can walk to Pingjiang Road, Humble Administrator's Garden, Suzhou Museum, various other gardens, and Shiquan Street. It's incredibly convenient. Definitely worth staying for anyone visiting!"
ANDU HOTEL ★★★★
"The hotel upgraded my room, and it was clean and tidy. The hotel staff were incredibly thoughtful, even bringing me their homemade iced drinks, which made me feel truly at home! The hotel is surrounded by two bustling commercial food streets, with authentic Suzhou cuisine just a short walk away, making it super convenient. It's also very close to the Lingering Garden and Humble Administrator's Garden. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit."
SCHOLARS BOUTIQUE Suzhou Pingjiangfu ★★★★★
"The hotel's location is fantastic, right on Pingjiang Road, making it super convenient for getting around. They even called ahead to confirm our booking, and since it wasn't busy when we arrived, they upgraded our room type. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the service was excellent. It also included two days of breakfast and a Suzhou noodle soup experience package. Overall, a truly great stay – highly recommended!"
vchill hotel ★★★★
"Excellent location, right next to Shantang Street, making it super convenient to get around. The decor and layout are unique and charming. Waking up and enjoying the breeze on the terrace in the morning was really lovely. The front desk staff was so kind – they lent me an umbrella when it rained and provided helpful information about local attractions. Very warm and attentive service overall."
MEHOOD LESTIE Hotel (Suzhou Guanqian Street Chayuanchang Subway Station) ★★★★
"The room was new, clean, and in a great location! It's close to attractions, and despite being in a commercial area, it was very quiet. The front desk staff were professional and enthusiastic, clearly explaining the pros and cons of different room types. They even offered a free room upgrade when they saw we had a child, which was fantastic!"
Zhuoyaju Hotel (Suzhou Pingjiang Road Guanqian Street Branch) ★★★
Atour S Hotel Suzhou Guanqian Pingjiang Road ★★★★
"Excellent location in between pingjiang and guanqian street, connected to metro via a mall below. Room is big and the bed is super comfortable. Breakfast spread is good."

Zhuixun · Designer Full Lake View Homestay
"The surrounding environment is great, and the breakfast is excellent."
Suzhou Jinxi B&B
"I like this B&B very much. I have come here many times before to drink coffee and feel the charm of Taihu Lake. Every time I think that if I wake up in the morning and see the beautiful scenery of Taihu Lake, I will definitely be in a good mood. This time I took advantage of the weekday to stay for one night, and I was not disappointed. The weather was very good, and the lake was shining blue. Recommended."
Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou
"The hotel's facilities are top-notch. It's relatively new, so everything is in pristine condition. Both the public areas and rooms are beautiful, though they felt a bit generic, like something I've seen before. The outdoor gardens are also lovely but lack a certain refinement; the details are a bit rough. I kept getting cobwebs on me while walking around. The outdoor pool is stunning and worth a photo op. The indoor pool is also good, but I'd suggest providing more bottled water. Breakfast didn't offer a huge variety, but the quality was excellent. They had steak, smoked salmon, sparkling wine, a good selection of fresh squeezed juices, and delicious bread. Western options were great, but the Chinese dishes were a bit lacking in flavor. Service was impeccable across the board. The front desk, concierge, restaurant staff, and housekeeping were all excellent. Overall, I was satisfied with the Four Seasons Suzhou. It was a very comfortable stay. However, considering the high standards of the Suzhou hotel scene, I found the price to be on the expensive side. The standard room rate could get you a suite with unbeatable views at many hotels on Jinji Lake. A 20% price reduction would feel more reasonable."
Park Hyatt Suzhou
"The location is decent, but perhaps because there's no high-floor view, it feels a bit lacking. It's a bit far from the koi pond, and the glass might have been dirty after the rain. Although the hardware is simple and a bit cluttered, the overall effect is quite good, especially the koi and pine trees in the atrium. However, they are behind glass, and you can only see them clearly when the electric windows are occasionally opened. The turndown service was a bit perfunctory, but the Chinese restaurant was so delicious that I highly recommend trying it. Breakfast was also good, coming from the same restaurant."
Crowne Plaza SUZHOU by IHG
"The hotel's location is fantastic, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Right outside, you'll find Jinji Lake promenade, a public square, and Suzhou Center. The front desk lady was exceptionally kind; she noticed I had two different room types booked for consecutive nights and proactively upgraded me to a room with a better view, saving me the hassle of changing rooms. I just regret not getting her name! These two days were definitely the most comfortable during my entire stay in Suzhou. I'll definitely stay here again next time and recommend it to my friends."
Kimpton BAMBOO GROVE SUZHOU by IHG
"The location is super convenient, nestled right between the West Garden Temple scenic area and the Jinji Lake new district in the east. It's also right next to Universal Plaza, offering a wide array of dining options. The hotel has a Chinese bamboo forest theme, but the guest room building itself doesn't try too hard to be ancient; the modern architectural style blends perfectly with the bamboo groves and water features. The decor is new, and the hardware, like the bathrooms and TVs, is high-end. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. The gym is fantastic, fully equipped, and even has a small swimming pool. Service is warm and welcoming. There's ample staff in the lobby, and they're very attentive with luggage and guiding guests during check-in. During my stay, I needed assistance with the bidet, and the repair process and response showed clear training. The first round of drinks and alcohol in the room is complimentary. A typhoon disrupted my plans, and the hotel even provided free breakfast. Breakfast was excellent. The food tasted great, and there was a wide selection (they even had young coconuts!). The freshly made dishes at the live stations were impressive, and the coffee was above average. It's a pet-friendly hotel; the room numbers are cute little cat paw signs. The lobby's working 'concierge dog' is an 85-pound, 3-year-old 'pig-puller' named Kelly, who is incredibly gentle. Both kids and adults can pet her as much as they like."
voco Suzhou Guanqian Street
"The hotel is right in the heart of Guanqian Street, an excellent location that makes shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The flamingo 🦩 decor is beautiful and perfect for photos. Wintney at the front desk was very thoughtful and accommodating. We had a comfortable stay and highly recommend it!"
Suzhou Shantang Street Huamao Gusuli Service Apartment
"Where did this hotel get its 'third best family hotel in Suzhou' ranking? And all those rave reviews on Xiaohongshu? I initially booked a 2-night stay but it was so boring I canceled one night, which they processed without a fuss, thankfully. The location is indeed good, nestled within the Hualian Plaza complex, with direct underground access to Suzhou MixC World. The Shilu subway station (Line 2) is a 15-minute walk away, and Qilishantang scenic area is a 20-minute walk. However, getting to the hotel parking during peak hours is a nightmare; it took me half an hour to cover the last kilometer at around 4 PM on a Sunday afternoon. Hygiene, service, and breakfast were all fine. The front desk even proactively upgraded me to a suite. Now, for the family-friendly aspect: the gym, swimming pool, and kids' club are all shared facilities of the Hualian Plaza apartments. You need to show your room card or buy a ticket to enter the pool, and the management seems quite organized. BUT, the swimming pool has no children's facilities whatsoever. The 'children's pool' is just smaller in size. The main pool had classes and adults, making it impossible for kids to really swim. The water temperature was also a bit low, so we escaped after 20 minutes. The kids' club facilities are basic, unmaintained, and unmanaged. There was artificial sand tracked everywhere from the sand pit, and it wasn't cleaned up. The craft area tables were old, and the picture books were damaged. I can only say that this hotel is much more suitable for business or adult travelers. It has a long way to go before it can be considered a decent family-friendly hotel."
THE HUMBLE Suzhou Shantang Street City Gate Hospitality Courtyard Hotel
"Well designed room. Very clean and modern with AI assist control."
Suzhou Manshiguang · Serendipity Leisure & Holiday Inn (Pingjiang Road Zhuozheng Garden Branch)
"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's within walking distance to the scenic spots, and transportation is super convenient – whether by bus or taxi, getting around is a breeze. No stress about getting anywhere. Overall, the experience was great, and it offers good value for money. I'd definitely choose this place again next time!"
Garden Hotel SUZHOU
"This hotel, themed as a 'livable Suzhou garden,' perfectly blends historical charm with modern amenities. The environment is beautiful, and the facilities are comprehensive. The service is excellent, and the breakfast spread is incredibly rich. It's the best choice for a relaxing getaway in Suzhou!"
Niccolo Suzhou
"The hotel environment is excellent, and the pool is very comfortable. The breakfast quality is quite good, and the dining environment and staff service are also great. Dinner quality is also quite impressive. The guest experience team, especially Ms. Bella, is very dedicated. They started providing service even before check-in, which was very thoughtful. I will definitely bring my family to stay here again in the future."
Yuanzi Hostel (Suzhou Pingjiang Road)
"I love this bnb so much. Super clean room and nice beddings. How I wish I can spend few more nights there. The staff are all very friendly. The complementary hi-tea was indeed wonderful. Having great days in Suzhou with Yuanzi, including Yuan Bao & Fa Chai."
Zhuoyu Hotel (Suzhou Guanqian Street Pingjiang Street)
"Zhuoyu Hotel is conveniently located on Guanqian Street, offering a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. The sleeping environment is top-notch, completely free from street noise, and transportation is very accessible. The owner is enthusiastic, the front desk staff are attentive, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the hotel's decor is elegant. Although the layout is compact, it's fully functional. The owner highly recommended the 'Tongdexing Fengzhen Big Pork Noodle,' which was incredibly delicious. The front desk team provided us with all sorts of convenient services. For anyone planning a trip, I highly recommend Zhuoyu Hotel!"
Tonino Lamborghini Hotel Suzhou
"This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The butler service was exceptional – they were incredibly responsive to all my requests, even late at night, and they even delivered my late-night takeout to my room! I also received a complimentary room upgrade, and the room itself was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The front desk staff were incredibly polite and genuinely attentive to every guest. The hotel's location is also superb; you can see the Gate of the Orient as soon as you step outside. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Suzhou!"
Suzhou Yinxiang Yisu Inn (Guanqian Street Pingjiang Road)
"The owner was incredibly welcoming. Even before we checked in, they recommended a local noodle place that served the most authentic noodles. They even upgraded our room to a fantastic one because they had availability (we stayed two nights, the bathtub is from the original room type, the video is from the upgraded room type). All the staff were very friendly and had excellent attitudes. They even brought our takeout orders right to our room. The smart speaker was also quite intelligent. Just a heads up, everyone, whatever you do, don't go to 'Treasure Jiangnan' on Guanqian Street – it was an absolute nightmare, a truly terrifying place. My friends and I literally left the city because of that one place."
