My husband and I enjoyed our state in this cozy, quaint ancient town hotel for two nights. The architecture and design of this hotel gives us the ancient vibes. It also has three lovely courtyards which bring our memory back to ancient times. Inside the hotel rooms, it was clean, spacious, comfortable and equipped with all the necessary toiletries, slippers and clean towels. The hotel front desk staff Xiao Wang is an asset to the company because she's so efficient and professional in handling guests requests. She had been so kind and always ready to help. The location of the hotel is just less than five minutes walk away from Zhuo Shui Ancient Street as well as the famous Feng Yu Lang Qiao - Wind and Rain Bridge. It's so convenient to move around here. The hotel allows guests to wear the Miao tribe's traditional costume to take pictures for FREE. Solid hostel, but potentially better options? Didn't like how they expected a perfect review before you commit to staying...major dislike, but I was too lazy to find another spot. Easy enough location to find...a bit far from a metro to be perfect but that's alright. Staff were helpful and common room was big, but kitchen was not available which seemed weird. Nice beds. Solid without being a wow.

Roof deck. Amazing large roof deck with amazing large view of the Chongqing skyline. Lucky if you find yourself here. Authentic neighborhood, authentic building, super cheap price for what this place is- a well positioned, homey, comfortable stay with a very friendly host. Chongqing known for confusion with navigation- this place is mad easy- lines up with the cross-river tourist cable car, is 10-15 minute walk to metro stop (Shangxinjie, Line 6. And I think it might have been this metro station that I was able to get a metro card good for near-all cities in China; convenient..) . Pretty much same distance to the bridge to walk over the Yangtze River. Convenient store with fruit at bottom of steps. Plenty of neighborhood restaurants. It was a place I found hard to leave. Lots of stairs in Chongqing.

Amazing would highly recommend! Lovely hostel in a great location, easily accessible and walking distance to all the famous attractions. The staff are very kind and helpful. There is a great common area and two beautiful rooftop terraces with great views of the city. The hostel is very clean and modern and has everything you need. The beds were very spacious and large with good privacy curtains, but the mattresses were not the most comfortable. A very cute cat! The only issue was the room was very hot and air conditioning wasn't working well. The staff were very kind and offered to move me to another room which was better but still quite hot. The rooms were also very small with not very much space to keep luggage and belongings.

I blindly picked this hostel for my trip to Chongqing, and it turned out to be a total hidden gem! I have to give it a huge thumbs-up! First off, what surprised me the most was how incredibly clean the room was! As someone who's a bit of a neat freak, walking in to find a perfectly made bed and a spotless floor instantly put me at ease. It felt really comfortable and reassuring. And their online check-in process? Seriously thoughtful! You don't have to awkwardly wait at the front desk; you just tap a few buttons on your phone and you're all set. For travelers like me, who are exhausted and thirsty after a long journey, this detail was an absolute lifesaver – the experience was top-notch! The location couldn't be better either. It's right next to Hongyadong, so you can just stroll downstairs to enjoy the night view, and there are tons of great food options nearby. Getting around, whether by monorail or taxi, is super convenient, making travel completely stress-free. Next time I'm in Chongqing, this will definitely be my first choice. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to this mountain city!

The location is great for terminal 2 of the airport (not so much for terminal 3 The bed itself was good quality, with proper privacy curtain, plugs, and a personal light. The shower toilet was big, and it had a separate wet area so you can keep your stuff in the room while showering. WiFi was OK. The windows of the building are terrible, so it was extremely noisy from both cars and planes. It also didn't stop the cold weather, and heating wasn't provided, so it was extremely cold in the room...

For this price, it’s better than I expected. I had some difficulties finding the place, and it’s not easy to get a response from the staff/host, but hey, it’s only $5 a night. The beds are good, the sheets are fresh and clean. There’s a living room where you can chill and get a powerbank for rent, there’s a fridge also. The balcony offers an outstanding view. For this price and location this is easily 9,5/10.

No one does it like this hostel! When I visited Chongqing, my first stop was Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. I wanted a hotel with a great location and an affordable price, so I chose 'Yijia Youth Hostel'. The bedding was brand new, everything was clean and hygienic, and it was quiet and refreshing. I especially liked the bunk beds, with one person per bed. Everyone, remember 'Yijia Youth Hostel'! They have rooms for both guys and girls. It's located right on Yumin Road. It's my top pick, and it should be yours too!

The room, bed, and overall environment were all very comfortable. It was cleaned thoroughly every day, which made me feel very secure. The price was great value for money, and I trusted the establishment. I really liked the environment here, it's suitable for solo travelers.
