Chongqing Jiefangbei Hongya Cave Houju High-altitude River-view Hotel

Moved to this room for one night, from the double bed big room, as my friend joined me. Room was exactly like the picture, clean, beautiful, amazing views, location perfect. But the walls were paper thin, could hear everything from the room next door which was a bit disruptive if you wanted to get rest in the night and morning. Stayed in the other room for 4 nights and didn't here a thing, could be that it was a corner room so no neighbours. Other than that no issues.

Stayed two nights at this hote. The hotel reception will email and provide some useful tips how to go to their hotel by metro, or didi. They also will provide some useful tips for hunting of foods around the hotel. I did follow their tips for breakfast and hot pot which were really delicious and affordable price esp the hotpot! Truly recommended. The nearest metro is Jiaovhangkou in Line 2 at exit 9. The metro has escalator therefore it is very convenient to travel with bags. It only takes around 5-8mins to reach the hotel. The hotel is sharing with the other office. You have to take the lift to level 46 where the reception is located. The hotel does not have restaurant therefore no breakfast is provided. The view from the hotel is truly beautiful especially at night. The room has a very large screen replacing the normal TV. The room is equipped with projector for viewing the TV program. At the reception areas, they provided with luggage scale to weight your luggage before boarding a flight. There are tow things I personally no feeling happy with. 1) We require a non smoking room at the non smoking floor but we were shocked to see few ladies sitting at the reception area openly smoking. Even though we were given a non smoking room but the smokes from the reception area could have leaked into our room! The hotel should be more stricter to require the smokers to smoke only at designated smoking areas or limited to the smoking floor! The second thing was the bathroom door is a sliding door which is relatively heavy and noisy when slide in and out. Besides the toilet bowl section was easily filled up with water pool if the shower curtain did not use properly and the water pool will be stagnated there as there was no water drainage at the toilet bowl area. Overall, we still have a pleasant stay at this hotel as the location is super close to the jiangfangbei and walkable to Hongya Dong. Recommended.

Great stay here :) crazily convenient location- right in the middle of famous pedestrian street. Located on from 46th floor of Xinhua International Building (Stunning city views) Reception staff so lovely, quick replies on WeChat. Very accomodating, friendly. Laundry service A+, they took care to make sure my warm clothes were ready for a day trip to Wulong the next day. Highly recommend!

I was impressed by the excellent service and friendly staff. The hotel's location is ideal, with numerous restaurants and eateries within walking distance.

Proximity to Jiangfangbei and surrounding areas. Metro lines accessible nearby. Food is everywhere nearby. View is nice from level 46. Recommended.
