Chongqing Jiefangbei Hongya Cave Houju High-altitude River-view Hotel

The overall experience of staying at this hotel exceeded my expectations! The hotel is located in the Jiefangbei area, making it convenient to go out for food and explore the business district. The rooms have a strong sense of vintage style, with dark green wall panels paired with brown-toned headboards. They are clean, tidy, and spacious without feeling cramped. The rooms come equipped with a large screen projector, which creates a great atmosphere for watching movies while resting at night. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wide view, allowing you to see the city’s sunset, the river scenery, and the city’s buildings during the evening. It’s perfect for taking photos. There’s a self-service tea area in the lobby, where you can freely pick up various types of teas. The details are very thoughtful. The bathrooms are clean and refreshing, well-maintained. Whether you’re traveling with a partner or friends visiting Chongqing, staying here is ideal. Highly recommended!

The elevated vantage point provides stunning vistas of the city's mountainous architecture. The bedding is clean and soft, ensuring a restful sleep. All amenities are well-equipped, with thoughtful attention to detail. Located in the heart of Jiefangbei, the hotel offers convenient access to dining and popular attractions. The staff are exceptionally friendly and warm. The overall environment is clean, tidy, and exudes a cozy, child-friendly ambiance. It's an excellent value for families traveling together—I highly recommend staying here for a parent-child trip to Chongqing!

Wonderful stay at Houju High‑rise River‑view Hotel 👍. It enjoys an excellent location in Jiefangbei, within walking distance of Hongyadong and food streets for easy sightseeing. The floor‑to‑ceiling windows offer fantastic high‑rise city views 🌆. Staff are warm and responsive. Rooms are well‑furnished with stylish retro decor, a projector and comfortable bedding. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the bathroom has practical wet‑dry separation. Great for friends and family, highly recommended for Chongqing trips.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, with many of Chongqing’s city‑centre attractions within easy walking distance. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly, responsive and ready to help. I stayed on the 45th floor, and the panoramic window offered absolutely spectacular views over the city. Hotel facilities are well‑kept and in good condition. I can highly recommend this property, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Chongqing.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here! The hotel is right in the centre of all the fun, with great views of the city lights. The staff are very friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations for things to do and try nearby. We were a bit disappointed that there was not a bar in the hotel like advertised (or the building, we found out after asking), the gym area is quite small and the massage room is in another business on another floor (for which, granted, the hotel gave us a voucher). The hotel is very easy to find and the surrounding area includes famous tourist attractions such as Hongya cave, Bayi food street, and Deyi world. The photos included were of the view from our room and the view from the hotel reception. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

The hotel is located in a really tall building at the center of Jiefangbei. It next to the libération monument as well as plenty of great food spots ! They even shared a Chongqing guide with us !

Amazing stay. The view was incredible, the room was spacious, modern, spotless, and perfect for a solo traveler. The location is excellent, right in the center, and the price was simply unbeatable. It was the best value I’ve found in Chongqing, despite staying at more expensive hotels. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, even bringing afternoon tea and fruit to my room. I also lost my key card, and they handled it with a smile and didn’t charge me anything. I would definitely stay here again.
