"Excellent location, right downstairs from IFS and Taikoo Li. The hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor. The public areas are beautiful. Fairy and Julie, who checked us in, were incredibly welcoming. They called ahead of time, and even helped deliver a package to my room promptly. Breakfast is a semi-buffet style, and I ordered some classics like the waffles and Dandan noodles, which were both delicious. They also had Western classics like Eggs Benedict, which was great. We left very early to catch our schedule, and the hotel concierge was kind enough to help us with our luggage. Facilities: The hotel itself is well-maintained. Service: Fairy and Julie were very enthusiastic and thoughtfully prepared some special local dishes for us, which we really appreciated. Environment: Very beautiful, as you can see from the photos."

"I have to rave about this hotel! The facilities are incredibly comprehensive and modern, absolutely perfect for a business traveler like me. The free laundry room is a lifesaver; I can wash and dry my clothes right away and wear them, no more accumulating dirty laundry to take home. The gym has plenty of equipment, and a half-hour workout in the morning leaves me feeling refreshed. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options, with hot dishes, bread, and fruit – I always leave feeling full and satisfied. The value for money is amazing, I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"A delightful experience! From the moment we stepped out of the wagon arriving at Six Senses, we were instantly delighted by the freshnesss of air and the vibe here. Simple yet so classy! Absolutely blown away by how it’s done and the seamless integration with nature elevated the whole experience of staying at SS to another level. e.g. the breakfast place was so enjoyable not only because of the food but also of the space design and program arrangement (there was a tai chi demonstration while we were having breakfast which I never would have thought to be so pleasing and peace-inducing!). I had to try the tai chi class afterwards and it was so refreshing, energizing and tranquil! A wonderful start to the day! The room was extremely comfortable and everything was immaculately designed and arranged. Didn’t have enough time to explore everything available for enjoyment at SS this time so I’m hoping to go again with my family as this place definitely can cater to all needs from toddlers to elderlies and with indulgence. The staff were attentive and showed great hospitality as you’d expect from the best. Special thanks to Hickey who looked after us during our stay and attended to all our needs promptly and made sure we had a brilliant time throughout. Also thank you to the staff at the front desk who packed us a box full of cookies to take onwards knowing that we were tired and peckish and leaving after a long hike at the mountain."

"Check-in Date: January 1, 2026 Hotel Name: Waldorf Astoria Chengdu The hotel is located in Chengdu Financial City, right by the Twin Towers. Unfortunately, even though I booked a room with a view, I couldn't directly see the Twin Towers, which was a minor disappointment. However, the floor-to-ceiling windows still offered expansive views of the city's high-rises, with plenty of natural light. In terms of transportation, the hotel is connected to Intime in99, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. It's just a 15-minute walk to the Twin Towers and a 20-minute taxi ride to Taikoo Li, which is quite tourist-friendly. The room itself maintained the Waldorf Astoria's usual high standards – clean, quiet, and odor-free, with excellent soundproofing and air conditioning. The toiletries were Aesop, and the body lotion was a pleasant surprise; it left my skin so smooth that I almost immediately went to the Taikoo Li store to buy some, but decided against it since I couldn't take it on the plane. The room was well-equipped with a smart toilet, electric curtains, and a bathtub. The walk-in closet offered ample space. Soaking in the tub while enjoying the night view truly captures the essence of a high-rise room with a view. The gym is on the 48th floor, spacious and bright, featuring treadmills, professional Technogym equipment, and a yoga studio. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer direct views of the Twin Towers. It's a shame I wasn't there for New Year's Eve; I could have enjoyed running while watching the Twin Towers countdown. The heated pool had crystal-clear water, surrounded by lounge chairs and tables, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. Swimming while overlooking the panoramic high-rise view was an excellent experience. Breakfast was a semi-buffet with à la carte options. The large floor-to-ceiling windows provided an open view during dining. If you're lucky enough to get a window seat, you can enjoy breakfast while admiring the Twin Towers. The breakfast menu included many local Sichuan specialties, which I recommend trying at least once. Service is arguably the Waldorf Astoria's biggest selling point. From the concierge's contact the day before, opening car doors, handling luggage, check-in, to housekeeping, the staff consistently provided friendly, prompt service with a smile. It truly made me feel right at home. Even though my room didn't overlook the Twin Towers, I could enjoy various perspectives of them from different spots around the hotel in the evening. During a stroll to grab some yakitori nearby, I also captured plenty of photos of the dazzling Twin Towers nightscape, illuminated beautifully. Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay. Everything met the Waldorf Astoria's consistent high standards – convenient location, excellent facilities, meticulous service, and a comfortable environment. If you specifically want to overlook the Twin Towers from a high floor, I suggest making a note in advance or booking a tower-view room. However, if you're just looking for a high-end hotel experience in Chengdu, this is still a highly recommended choice."

"Staying at this hotel reminds me that someplaces away from home can become home. The attention and hospitality of Upper House is the kindest and warmest that I have experienced. The staff is always warm and friendly, you have your own concierge to help you with small errands or unique asks, it makes the experience feel truly crafted! Cassidy ” sleepy potato” an intern for this gem of a hotel absolutely deserves a position and a promotion for her knowledge and warmth. Her joy and kindness alone makes we want to return soon, just to feel that Upper House warmth once more. From a hot bath to a cool shower I was adorned in the indulgence of relaxation and pure tranquility earned after long walks and sore feet. The blend of Traditional Chinese history and Mondern architecture, is a feast for the eyes as a former designer!"

"My sister and I loved our stay at this hotel. It is perfectly located in a beautiful historic neighborhood, just a few meters away from the Line 2 metro station, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The hotel's setting is beautiful, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The hotel's restaurant is excellent. It was a true lifesaver on evenings when we were too tired to look out for dinner. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Just perfect to rest after long days sightseeing. And finally, the staff were super welcoming and always ready to help with anything we needed. After a long 10.5-hour flight, we were so grateful to be offered an early check-in, which allowed us to rest and recharge right away. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The front desk staff were consistently kind and helpful, making us feel truly welcome. A special thank you to Lisa, who went above and beyond—her warm hospitality and thoughtful gesture of arranging a birthday cake made my celebration extra special. Overall, the hotel provided a perfect blend of comfort and care. We felt at home throughout our stay and will definitely return. GGuest UserWe traveled as a group of three and chose the two-story bedroom. The location was very convenient — from Chengdu, we got off at Lidui Park Station, which is connected to the famous Bear Selfie spot. As soon as you exit the station, you’ll see the building shown in the photo, and the accommodation is on the 2nd floor of that building. The staff were very friendly and provided great service. The only small downside is that there is no elevator, so we had to walk up to the room. However, the staff kindly helped us carry our luggage, which we really appreciated. Upon check-out, we also received a small souvenir from the accommodation. If we have the chance to return, we would definitely stay here again. The surrounding area is very convenient as well, with restaurants, clothing shops, and convenience stores all nearby.

__WeChat290251****Thanks to Shirley for the room upgrade! This is our second time staying at the Sofitel Haichuanwan Hot Spring Hotel. The hot springs are genuinely natural, and I was surprised to find such a great spot located in Jintang County. The hardware facilities are excellent, and there's parking right at the entrance, which is very convenient. Even though it wasn't crowded on a weekday, the breakfast spread was very generous. There were so many toppings for the rice noodles and regular noodles, including pork liver, beef, diced rabbit, and ginger duck for the meat options. There was also a wide selection of iced coffee, other cold drinks, and fruit and vegetable juices. The staff were all very attentive and polite – truly a five-star hotel experience. The overall hotel environment is beautiful; taking a walk around the grounds is an absolute pleasure.

The staff are all incredibly friendly and, impressively, they all speak English. Daily breakfast and coffee are included, and staying for two days was absolutely wonderful. I would genuinely stay here every day if I weren't so short on cash and out of loyalty points! 😭 The courtyard is incredibly comfortable for relaxing, and even a sudden evening rain made for a cozy atmosphere. Wenshu Monastery is also just a short walk away, which is super convenient!

The service was warm and thoughtful, and I really appreciate it. In-room minibar: The hotel provides complimentary soft drinks and beer, so you can relax and unwind even without leaving the hotel. There are also snacks and capsule coffee provided, which is very thoughtful. Overall, my stay was fantastic and very comfortable. The hotel's decor is stylish, and both the lobby and the room are elegant. It's very close to the scenic area, and the accommodation is nestled within Kuanzhai Alley, so you can step right out and explore. The exterior also blends in with the Kuanzhai Alley style, with a traditional Chinese feel that's ancient and charming, full of character. The room was clean and tidy. My room's interior, based on a modern Chinese style, also incorporated some purple tones, giving it a very mature and stable feel. Front desk staff Rora, Zoe, and Nancy provided warm and thoughtful service. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThis is not a holiday inn/holiday inn express, (the chain) even though that’s the name. Other than that it’s a fine hotel. They offered free airport pickup service, and were very friendly in helping us. The hotel is in a very remote location, 20 minutes away from the airport. It’s in a beautiful setting in the countryside, and we could hear birds and chickens outside the window. The lobby is a bit sp****, and the bathroom is small, but it worked for us after getting in late at night.
