Kempinski Hotel Chengdu

Strategically located right next to a bustling business district and metro station, this hotel offers convenient access for both work and travel. The guest rooms are quiet with excellent soundproofing, and the workspace is practical. The meeting facilities are comprehensive, and the staff provides efficient and attentive service. It's an ideal choice for business travelers.

The room was clean and tidy, and the service was excellent. The location is superb. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time. The facilities are very new, and the breakfast is plentiful, especially the beef noodles which were delicious.

I had informed the hotel beforehand that I would be checking in on my birthday. After settling in and resting a bit, I noticed the bed sheets and pillowcases were dirty. I immediately called to request a change, and they were quite prompt in replacing them. The selection of loquats at the executive lounge wasn't great; they lacked sweetness and flavor, not nearly as good as what we bought outside. However, the Black Forest cake they gave me for my birthday was delicious.

Even though this hotel is quite old, some aspects are still commendable. Issues are resolved very quickly, and they genuinely don't overlook guest requests. I didn't book breakfast, so I'm not sure how it is, but the cleanliness and service are definitely decent for Chengdu. Chiron, who checked me in, seemed quite elegant and provided great service.

The room was very clean! The facilities were just average. The executive suite was quite small too! The service was excellent! The only downside was the breakfast, it wasn't great. And since I booked through a third party, I didn't even get the welcome fruit! That's really disappointing!

The hot and cold water system in the room's shower isn't working well; it keeps fluctuating between hot and cold. Everything else was fine.

The Kempinski Hotel Chengdu, located in Tongzilin, boasts excellent transport links. The renovated rooms are clean and comfortable, with soft bedding and great soundproofing. The German-style service is attentive and thoughtful, including turn-down service and welcome fruit. The breakfast offers a wide variety, with the freshly made noodles being a particular highlight. The only slight drawbacks are the somewhat dated pool and gym. Overall, it offers outstanding value for money and is an excellent choice for business travelers.
