Guests frequently praise the friendly, multilingual staff and the comfortable, clean accommodations.  A few drawbacks: the shower/bath setup has a high step which some found awkward.  Air-conditioning may be less effective in hot weather.  If you’re comfortable with self-service amenities and want to stay in the heart of Brussels, this is a very solid choice."

"The hotel was very easy to find and well located as it was close to the metro station. The surrounding area was also very safe. The staff were very accommodating and allowed for early check-in. The availability of the rooms was very fast. They also noted my special requests, which I appreciated. The room was very spacious and matched the description. Good amenities such as mini fridge, cutlery/crockery, bathroom equipped with towels, soap, shampoo, and a hairdryer. Also came with a tv. There was a breakfast option for €16 a day, but I chose to take advantage of the local cafes in the area. Also be aware there is no cleaning service as its sort of a studio system so you have to keep the room clean. I would have appreciate a little broom or dustpan so I could clean the floors a bit but not that big of an issue. The neighbours were very nice, no loud noises made it easy to sleep at night. The whole booking, check-in, and check out process was very easy with the key card system. The hotel was very modern, with some seating area downstairs and vending machines for snacks. It's also where breakfast was served. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend to all."

Highly personalised service, very beautiful and spacious rooms, the room service we used was brought with that 'fait aver l'amour touch and enthusiasm' not to forget the Bar21, a hidden treasure in the city. The gym has everything you need to start your day in the best possible way, the breakfast was very personal, served at the table, simply excellent!"

"We stayed at Citadines Sainte-Catherine Brussels for 2 nights. The location is definitely a plus – it’s convenient and within walking distance to many sights in Brussels. However, we were quite surprised to learn that there’s no cleaning service or towel replacement for short stays under 6 days. This made things a bit uncomfortable, especially when traveling with family. We booked a studio apartment for 4 people. While the main bed was okay, the sofa bed was not very comfortable to sleep on. We also didn’t take the breakfast option, so can’t comment on that. Overall, a decent stay for the location, but some of the amenities and comfort could definitely be improved."

"My experience was extremely disappointing. I made a reservation and realized immediately after booking that I had selected the wrong dates. I contacted the hotel right away — literally right after the booking — to request a simple date change or cancellation. Instead of showing even the smallest amount of understanding or flexibility, they completely refused to help. I understand that policies exist, but good hotels also understand customer service. When a guest reaches out immediately to correct an honest mistake, the professional and reasonable response would be to assist — not hide behind rigid policies with zero empathy. The lack of flexibility, understanding, and basic customer care was shocking. It left me feeling frustrated, ignored, and honestly regretful for choosing this hotel. There are many hotels in Brussels that value their guests — unfortunately, this was not one of them. I would not recommend staying here based on this experience."
