Manju Hotel (Kunming Changshui International Airport Branch)

The ultimate philosophy of saving where you can and spending where it counts! I had a layover at Kunming Airport and booked the Mentoj Hotel via Ctrip for just 132 RMB. They even gave me a free upgrade to a Deluxe View Room—so grateful! Free airport shuttle, full smart-room control, buffet breakfast, and a late check-out until 2 PM. Highly recommended! [Strong] The only downside: the service was a bit poor, and nobody helped with the luggage.

The hotel is quite new, but free of formaldehyde and smoke odors. The facilities are fully equipped, including disposable slippers, toothbrushes, and toilet seat covers. It was also very quiet, and I slept well at night. They offer a free airport shuttle service, and for only 150 RMB a night, the conditions are truly a great value for money. If I need a place to stay near Kunming Airport again next time, I will definitely choose this hotel. The only suggestions I have for improvement would be to add a bedside cabinet with power outlets between the two beds, and to have the bedside lamps operate independently without turning on the other lights simultaneously. Overall, it offers exceptionally high value for money and is highly recommended 👍

✈️ Found a hidden gem hotel during my layover at Kunming Changshui Airport: Manju Hotel🏨 I originally booked a superior king room✨, but to my surprise, the front desk gave me a free upgrade to a deluxe king room upon arrival. The large floor-to-ceiling window was a delightful surprise. Outside, there was a vast lawn campsite, and in the distance, continuous mountain ranges. Watching the clouds in the sky at sunset created an incredible ambiance 🌄. The room was spacious, with a simple yet high-end decor, clean, and brand new. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the overall environment was very quiet. After a long journey, I could finally get some good rest. The hotel is located near Changshui Airport, making it perfect for early morning flights, late arrivals, or overnight layovers. The service was attentive and exceeded my expectations. If you're transiting through Kunming, you can confidently choose this hotel ✅.
