GGuest UserFacilities: Very complete – The hotel elevators aren't slow, and you can use your card or face recognition to operate them and open your room door. There are also full-length mirrors inside the elevators. Rooms come equipped with a mini-fridge, TV, full-length mirror, and more. On the 5th floor, there's a buffet breakfast restaurant, laundry room, gym, and a sky garden. Cleanliness: Clean, no stains found, and the room had no strange odors. The front desk staff thoughtfully assigned us a room on a non-smoking floor. The elevator lobby had a faint pleasant scent, but there seemed to be a subtle smoky smell inside the elevator itself. While not strong, I hope this can be improved! Service: Superb – A big shout-out to the front desk staff, I didn't catch their names, but the two working on the afternoon of May 6th, 2026, were both very friendly. The front desk lady noted my request for a non-smoking room and even helped upgrade our room type (to a non-smoking floor). Furthermore, whenever we passed by, the front desk always greeted us warmly. It wasn't just the front desk; all the hotel staff were very enthusiastic. Overall, it was a great experience.

AAnonymous UserTucked away in a lively area, I absolutely loved it. The photo ops were amazing, and the service attitude was excellent. We arrived in Changsha on a red-eye flight, and when we reached the hotel, the lady at the front desk responded quickly to our WeChat message and even ran out to greet us. The staff at the entrance and in the restaurant were incredibly warm and welcoming. The hotel manager was especially attentive and thoughtful, making us feel right at home during our trip. Since we were traveling with two children, the dining hours here were very flexible, and no matter when we went, we could always find fruit in the restaurant, plus there was afternoon tea – it was fantastic! We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Changsha.

GGuest UserMy best friend and I came to Changsha for a trip, and we chose this guesthouse based on its aesthetic appeal – it truly exceeded our expectations. It's located inside an alley but very close to the entrance, so there's no need to worry about safety. The location is absolutely fantastic; you can walk directly to attractions like Wuyi Square, Huangxing Walking Street, Pozi Street, and Wenheyou. It's also walkable to popular restaurants like Cuiyan Xiaochao Huangrou (Stir-fried Beef), Ben Luobo, and the famous Black Classic Stinky Tofu – incredibly convenient. Regarding the service, the customer service via WeChat was incredibly responsive and helpful, always addressing any questions or concerns. When we checked in, they even helped us with our luggage. Every evening, there's complimentary late-night snack, and the mung bean soup is absolutely delicious. The facilities are also excellent; the washer-dryer combo was very useful. I highly recommend this guesthouse. It excels in safety, photo-friendliness, and convenience.

They provide plenty of bottled water, and the tea set is nice. You can also get eye masks at the front desk. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that.

The thoughtfulness was top-notch. Next time I'm in town, I'm definitely booking this place again! The room facilities were sparkling new, hygiene was perfect, and the service was gentle and unobtrusive. It was more comfortable than my own home; I already didn't want to check out. The hardware is excellent, service is on point, and the attention to detail is superb. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was delightful – this is how a hotel stay should be!

GGuest UserGreat value for money! It's super close to Wuyi Square. The afternoon tea and cocktails are absolutely delicious, and the complimentary late-night congee is a lovely touch. I was especially happy that the front desk lady even helped me pick up my takeout. I'll definitely be back next time I visit Changsha. The hygiene is exceptional, everything is spotless, the bed is perfectly made, and the duvet cover is pristine. The environment is really nice, it looks like it's just been renovated, and the facilities are excellent. Plus, it's very close to the subway station. Highly recommend staying here!

ZzhlcocoAfter a photography trip to Fenghuang Ancient Town, I decided to stay in Changsha for two days. I chose this hotel on Trip.com, and my stay was excellent. First off, the hotel's location is fantastic, right by the Xiangjiang River. The subway station is directly opposite, and it's super close to Taiping Old Street, making it convenient to get anywhere. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The service was even better – attentive and responsive to all my needs, truly responsible. While the breakfast selection wasn't huge, the dishes were clearly prepared with care. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Changsha.

SSusuWanderlustTyndall Gap Hotel truly understands our need for relaxation! 😭 The moment I opened the door, I was absolutely stunned – is this what a riverside view from the 53rd floor looks like? The 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows framed the Xiang River and the city skyline like a painting. Even on a rainy day, the misty river view outside felt like a movie filter. And I could see it all from my bed! Waking up and opening the curtains to the Xiang River right there was just incredible! (Got me hyped again!) The room details were meticulously thought out. The Italian minimalist decor paired with the warm-light fireplace really elevated the whole feel! I really have to praise the pillows – they perfectly cradled my head. As someone who usually has trouble falling asleep, I even drifted off while watching a movie. The bathrobes and disposable slippers weren't cheap quality either; in fact, they thoughtfully provided two pairs of slippers. The hotel's public areas were also a huge plus, perfect for photos. There's a self-service laundry room and a gym. The breakfast also exceeded expectations – noodles, wontons, stir-fries, desserts, and fruits were all well-stocked. I had two bowls of the freshly made Changsha rice noodles! (P.S. Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM) The location is also very convenient, not far from Wuyi Square, and the subway station is about a minute's walk away. After a tiring day of exploring, coming back to the hotel and having a quiet river view is truly therapeutic!!! There's also a 24-hour selfie studio on the first floor (Pic 13). If you're visiting Changsha, you really can't go wrong with this place – just book it!
